Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Adam came clean to Victor, Nick considered a return to Newman, and Nikki accepted an unexpected invitation.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley walks into the living room and sees the look on Jack and Diane’s faces. She asks what’s wrong.
Diane tells Jack they should show Ashley… She deserves to know.
Jack gets up and hands Ashley his tablet.
Ashley skims it over and asks where it came from.
Jack says he has a reporter friend of his… It’s an article that details Tucker’s cover-up of the PR department. Jack is going to give the thumbs-up to release it to the public.
Ashley says it’s a big move… Too big.
Jack says he’s come around to Billy’s way of thinking… They have to take action against Tucker before he moves against them.
The GCAC Dining Room
Nate walks into the dining room and approaches Adam at the bar.
Adam looks over from his coffee and says, “Good morning, boss!” He laughs and apologizes for his “slip of the tongue.”
Nate smirks. “Hilarious.”
Adam asks Nate how unemployment is treating him.
Nate says he’s happy he doesn’t have to work with Adam.
Adam says Nate’s shirts are ready at the dry cleaners, but he’ll have to pick them up himself since Adam no longer works for him.
Nate says Adam may be annoying, but he’s got to hand it to him… He took a risk and ended up surviving Victor’s trap.
Adam says he told his dad not to trust Nate when he wanted to ship him off to treatment.
Nate insists he had Victor’s best interests at heart. He wasn’t thinking about himself, but they both know that Adam was going to use Victor’s illness to further his own agenda since he’s a self-serving bastard.
Adam says at least he’s not the guy out in the cold. It must be chilly out there!
Nate says Adam knows that feeling himself.
Adam congratulates Nate. He played the game, and he lost. The bottom line is… Adam knows Victor better than Nate does.
Nate says Adam didn’t know Victor well enough to see through his ruse… Victor had everyone fooled, especially Adam!
Newman Enterprises
Victor asks Nikki if she’s still planning to take the trip to see her sister.
Nikki says she is, as long as Victor takes care of the “Victoria situation.” She says she’s sick of all the infighting amongst the family… It’ll be good to get a break from it!
Victor says it’s important for her to take a break, and it’ll be wonderful for her to see her sister, Casey. He says Claire’s Aunt Jordan will be happy to meet her too.
Nikki says Claire’s a wonderful assistant and has done so much for her, so she’ll do it for Claire. She figures Claire will get a kick out of the Newman jet.
Victor promises to handle things with Victoria and Nicholas. He created the problem, and he has to deal with it… Even if he has to force them to cooperate.
Newman Media
Claire is talking on her phone. She tells the person on the other end that everything is set, and they fly out later that day. She says she understands how important this is, and she’ll do whatever is necessary.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria and Nick enter Victor’s office. Victoria asks why he called them there… More tricks and deception to test their loyalty?
Victor says he wants to ensure they know how things stand with the company since Nate’s departure. He’s staying as CEO and will remain the head of Newman Enterprises. He’s hoping that both of them will work alongside him.
Nick says he’d be opposed to Victor’s tricks normally, but it worked to reveal Nate’s true intentions. He’d like to put things behind them and move forward peacefully as a family.
Victor agrees. How about Victoria?
Victoria says it won’t be so easy for her. It’s bad enough that Victor didn’t trust her enough to tell her about his health, but she feels that he’s not being fair about Nate.
Victor says he had to uncover who the traitor was… And it was Nate!
Victoria says Nate’s motives were sincere.
Victor disagrees.
Nick says Nate showed he was an opportunist at heart.
Victor says Nate was making a power grab for Victoria and himself at Victor’s expense.
Victoria says he was looking out for the stability of the company, and he cares about Victor.
Victor says that’s nonsense. If Victoria agreed with Nate’s plan, why did she go along with Adam?
Victoria says she didn’t want to see her father sent away… It’s not fair to him and it wouldn’t be fair to any of his children either.
Victor asks if Victoria still has feelings for Nate.
Victoria figures her father is questioning her judgment. She accuses him of losing all faith in her.
The GCAC Dining Room
Adam tells Nate his father was looking for bad intentions, which Nate clearly had.
Nate tells Adam that he wanted the best care for Victor. He asks if Victor gave Adam a promotion.
Adam says the details are still in the works.
Nate figures Victor is being evasive with Adam.
Adam says he’s proven himself to his father by being Nate’s assistant and protecting Victor from Nate.
Nate says Adam wasn’t rewarded for his efforts. Victor obviously doesn’t trust Adam any more than he trusts Nate.
Adam says they’re not in the same boat.
Nate says Adam is no longer his assistant, so technically, Adam is as much out of a job as he is.
Mamie walks up and says hello. She asks if she’s interrupting anything.
Adam says she’s not. They’re all finished! He leaves the dining room, telling Mamie it was nice to see her and to enjoy her breakfast.
Mamie sniffs and says, “That’s Miss M. to you!” She asks Nate what that was all about.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley asks Jack if he was going to tell her about the article, or if he was going to share it with the world and deal with the consequences later.
Jack gets all riled up and tells her she’s shared things with the press without consulting him first. He mentions that he learned from the press about Tucker and Ashley’s plan to start a company.
Ashley says that was in response to Jack giving Diane a major role in their family company without telling the family.
Diane says they need to take a breath; they shouldn’t turn on each other right now. She tells Jack that Ashley has valid concerns and that they should listen to her.
Ashley thanks Diane. She says if he shares the article, it’ll only serve to inflame Tucker, and that would be the end of Jack’s ammunition against him. Tucker has nothing to lose.
Diane says Tucker doesn’t seem concerned about what Ashley thinks of him either.
Ashley isn’t sure that’s true, but regardless, Tucker has nothing going on for himself right now. A public smackdown won’t do much damage.
Jack says they have to do something to show they’re not afraid of him.
Ashley says Jack is afraid of Tucker, and Tucker probably knows that.
Jack rants that he hates that Tucker has them all squirming.
Ashley says if Jack publishes the article, it’ll show Tucker that he is squirming.
Jack and Ashley talk over one another, with Ashley arguing that Jack should give her more time and Jack saying that he’s not convinced Ashley could do anything.
Ashley begs her brother; she knows she can make inroads with Tucker.
Diane says a little more time wouldn’t hurt.
Jack reluctantly agrees. He tells Ashley that she’s playing with fire and he doesn’t want to see her get burnt.
Ashley says Jack shouldn’t underestimate her; she’s not ready to admit defeat! Ashley leaves the house.
Society
Chloe and Sally sit down at a table. Chloe asks how Sally’s interior design business is going.
Sally says it’s going really well… Daniel loved the ideas for his apartment, and Chloe was a huge help in selling it to him.
Chloe says Sally was the genius with her design, but she was able to help Sally “translate it further.”
Sally says having Chloe there made her realize there was an important part of her business missing… And that missing part is Chloe!
Sally says she doesn’t want to run her business without Chloe. She values her opinion, and she has great taste.
Chloe laughs. She thanks Sally for realizing that she’s amazing.
Sally knows Chloe is working elsewhere, but would she be willing to work with Sally?
Chloe says she just told Summer and Chelsea that things weren’t working out for her at Marchetti.
Sally is surprised. She knew Chloe had said things were bad, but she didn’t know they were that bad.
Chloe says she doesn’t see eye-to-eye with Summer about fashion, and she got the sense that things wouldn’t get any better there for her.
Sally thinks that Summer’s loss is going to be her gain.
Chloe laughs and says if that’s Sally’s offer, then yes!
Sally cheers and they get up and hug each other.
Adam walks into the restaurant and sees them hugging. He sits down at the bar and smiles at Sally.
Sally sees Adam and thinks back to making love with him.
Chloe interrupts Sally’s reverie. She looks over her shoulder and sees Adam. She asks Sally if everything is okay.
The GCAC Dining Room
Mamie and Nate are sitting at a table. Mamie asks why there was tension between Adam and Nate. He sure seemed full of himself for someone who’s supposed to be Nate’s assistant!
Nate says things exploded at Newman in a way he didn’t see coming; he tried to do the smart thing for Victor and his family.
Mamie says it sounds like one of those “no good deed goes unpunished” scenarios.
Nate says Victor tricked him; he was accused of being a traitor and was cast aside.
Mamie asks if Victor fired him, and Nate shrugs in response. Mamie says Victor is ruthless and takes down everything in his path.
Nate says Mamie was right in saying that he was an outsider at Newman.
Mamie says she takes no pleasure in being right.
Nate says she was right about a lot of things… The Newmans will always protect their own, even at the expense of others, and he doesn’t want to be involved with them.
Mamie says Nate needs to look on the bright side. He can return to Chancellor-Winters where he belongs!
Newman Enterprises
Victor tells Victoria she should take a necessary step and get rid of Nate Hastings. She doesn’t need him, and he’s no good for her.
Victoria says once again Victor wants to control her personal life as well as her professional one.
Victor says it almost hurts him to say it, but her choice of men has been questionable. Billy Abbott, JT Hellstrom, Ashland Locke… And now, Nate Hastings?
Victoria doesn’t think they should discuss her relationships since they’re such a problem for her father.
Victor says it’s nonsense! Victoria belongs with the company and with her family. Get rid of Nate, and she can focus on what’s important. He asks if Nick is with him on this.
Nick says he’s back. He’s all in!
Victor asks Victoria what she thinks.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane hopes Jack isn’t angry at her for letting Ashley in on their plans to expose Tucker.
Jack says he’s not angry. Diane’s right; they should tell Ashley about it, but he hates that Ashley is so stubborn about it.
Diane thinks Ashley might be right about Tucker’s mindset, and they haven’t had any luck disarming Tucker. Ashley might be their best bet!
Jack feels he’s sending Ashley back to the lion’s den. He doesn’t want her anywhere near Tucker.
Diane says it’s Ashley’s choice, and if she’s concerned about Tucker’s reaction to releasing the information, they should probably listen to her. Ashley thinks she knows Tucker better than anyone, so they should do things her way.
Jack growls in frustration. He says there’s another reason he wants Ashley to stay as far away from Tucker as possible. He’s worried that Ashley will fall for Tucker again.
Crimson Lights
Abby and her mom hug and sit down at a table. Abby says she hasn’t seen her mom much since she returned; she’s been worried about her!
Ashley says she’s fine and she’s happy to be with Abby.
Abby says she’s excited about spending Thanksgiving with her mom. She asks if Ashley has had any encounters with Tucker. She hopes Tucker’s been keeping his distance.
Ashley says she reached out to Tucker… But only to find out what he was planning.
Abby doesn’t like the sound of that at all. She says her mom needs to stay away from Tucker and all his chaos… God forbid she upsets him even more than he already is!
Ashley doesn’t think that’s possible.
Abby says Ashley should just let Tucker go. By now, he’s probably shifted his attention away from the Abbotts and Jabot.
Ashley asks what Abby means by that.
Abby says Devon and Lily think that Tucker is behind Mamie’s return to town and is somehow involved with her investment into Chancellor-Winters.
Ashley is blown away. Is Abby saying that Tucker and Mamie are working together?
Abby nods.
Ashley says that makes sense. When she was together with Tucker, he dreamed of getting Chancellor-Winters for Devon and Jabot for Ashley.
Abby wonders what Tucker would gain from disrupting his son’s company.
Ashley figures Tucker could find a way to get rid of Jill, which would make Mamie very happy, and get Chancellor-Winters for Devon.
Abby thinks Tucker might have forgotten about the Abbotts and Jabot while he focuses on his family.
Ashley says nothing is ever that simple with Tucker.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria says she’s still furious about the games Victor played with them. She doesn’t want to argue anymore, and despite her frustrations, she can’t turn her back on Newman Enterprises. She says the company is strong, and a large part is due to her leadership.
Nick agrees wholeheartedly.
Victor says he agrees as well. He’s glad Victoria’s come around.
Victoria says her father will have to work to earn her trust back.
Victor says that goes both ways. He’s glad Victoria is smart enough to know that Newman is where she belongs.
Victoria says she is, but if Adam is given a “power role” in the company, Victor can count her out.
Newman Media
Nikki enters her office, asks Claire if she’s ready to go, and inquires about her aunt’s broken arm.
Claire says she’s packed and set, and her aunt finds it difficult… She hates anything to slow her down.
Nikki smiles and says she’s looking forward to meeting the woman who raised such an amazing person.
Claire says her aunt will be grateful.
Nikki tells Claire that she’ll have to arrange her own flight back from Blue Lake to Genoa City since she’s going to see her sister in Napa. They’ll leave as soon as she’s finished a few things and can change into casual clothes.
Claire leaves Nikki’s office and sends someone a text. “Get everything ready.”
Newman Enterprises
Nick agrees with his sister; he doesn’t think Adam should be given any leadership role.
Victor says he’ll tell them what he told Adam. Adam will remain at Newman Enterprises and be given an important position.
Victoria says Adam doesn’t deserve it.
Victoria says he’s sick of their fighting; they’re siblings!
Nick says Adam’s never shown any brotherly loyalty.
Victor says it’s not up for debate. He’s fed up with the conflict between them all, and he’ll do whatever he can to solve it!
Society
Chloe asks Sally what that was all about… Sally shared a look with Adam, and then Sally’s eyes glazed over.
Sally says she didn’t glaze over.
Chloe is insistent that Sally was flustered. It wasn’t anger, and she thought she saw Adam smile.
Sally says it was just a glance.
Chloe doesn’t believe her. It was a deep look, loaded with emotion. She asks Sally if things are starting up between her and Adam.
Sally protests. Absolutely not!
Chloe says it would be a very. Bad. Idea. Right?
Sally nods. She knows that Chloe doesn’t like Adam; she’s made that clear.
Chloe says Sally’s recent split with Nick has probably left her overwhelmed and confused. Adam equals bad.
Sally says it’s not that big of a deal; she just spaced out for a second. They should talk about something important, like when Chloe is coming back to work with her.
Chloe says she’ll go to Marchetti after their meeting and get everything sorted.
Sally thinks that’s great. They’ll get a deal worked out between Sally Spectra Designs and Chloe.
Chloe can’t wait. Things are finally looking up!
Sally looks over at Adam and smiles. She takes a sip from her mug, trying to hide her gaze from Chloe.
The GCAC Dining Room
Nate tells Mamie his return to Chancellor-Winters isn’t guaranteed, but he had a promising encounter with Devon, who seemed to want to give him another chance.
Mamie says they should seize the moment. The four of them should sit down as a family and discuss his possible return to Chancellor-Winters.
Nate says it might be tricky. Devon and Lily will wonder why he’s leaving Newman.
Mamie says he can tell the truth; Nate wanted to do the right thing but was bamboozled by Victor. Nobody who knows Victor would be surprised by that!
Nate’s not sure they’ll accept his explanation.
Mamie tells him not to sell himself short. She’s got a good feeling about this.
Crimson Lights
Ashley thinks Abby might be right… Tucker might be distracted by Chancellor-Winters and have forgotten about Jabot. Tucker was Katherine’s son and always said he never understood why Jill controlled the company.
Abby figures Katherine had her reasons for not leaving the company to Tucker and leaving John in charge.
Ashley says that Jill got her “grubby little hands” on it after that.
Abby didn’t realize her mom disliked Jill so much.
Ashley laughs. She says she always has disliked her, but she’s Billy’s mother, so she tried to be nice.
Abby says just because Ashley doesn’t like Jill doesn’t mean that Jill should have the company taken away.
Ashley shrugs. Maybe it never should have been her company! It just makes sense that he’d be going after Chancellor-Winters.
Abby says she doesn’t like that idea… If Tucker goes after the company, it could affect Devon.
Ashley says Tucker wouldn’t do anything to hurt Devon.
Abby says Devon is upset by Tucker’s moves and doesn’t trust anyone’s motives.
Ashley hopes Tucker will focus on Chancellor-Winters and keep Jabot out of his sights.
Abby plays the devil’s advocate… What if Mamie coming to town is all part of Tucker’s bigger picture?
Ashley still can’t believe that Mamie is doing this… Maybe she has a hidden agenda.
Abby thinks that Tucker probably still wants revenge on Jabot and the Abbotts. She’s worried that her mom is getting in too deep with Tucker, which terrifies her. She begs her mom to stay away from him.
Ashley promises that she’ll always be in control with Tucker from now on.
Claire’s Blue Lake House
Claire and Nikki walk into the house. Claire says it’s nothing like the Newman Ranch, but it’s home to her.
Nikki thinks it’s charming. She asks where Claire’s great-aunt is.
Claire says she’s probably sitting in her chair near the lake. She finds a note on the table that says that her aunt is at the doctor’s and will be home soon, and they should enjoy a spot of tea while they wait.
Nikki thinks that’s sweet. A tea would hit the spot!
Claire pours a cup of tea for them both. They talk about the house and how Claire loved growing up there.
Nikki sips from her teacup.
Claire says she had a lot of friends there and swam, kayaked, and fished all the time.
Nikki asks if Claire ever got into “trouble” on the lake.
Claire grins and says she’ll never tell.
Nikki smiles and takes a sip of her tea.
Claire tells Nikki some stories of her time growing up there, saying that nobody trusted her cooking for a while after a pepper and hot sauce “episode.”
Nikki laughs and says the tea is unusual… What type is it?
Claire says she has no idea.
Nikki notices that Claire hasn’t drunk any of her tea.
Claire says she’s not much of a tea drinker. That’s more Aunt Jordan’s thing.
Nikki says Aunt Jordan is a woman after her own heart. Nikki starts feeling woozy. She doesn’t feel well. She drops the teacup and apologizes. She sees double and looks up at Claire in confusion.
Claire tells her it’s okay… Soon, everything will be as it should be.
Nikki asks what she means. She tries to get up, but her legs won’t support her. She asks Claire, “What’s happening?”

Exactly Adam ain’t the only one to blame for Chloe Delia death Billy is too and I can’t understand why Adam take all the blame when Billy should have got some of it too as well it’s not all Adam fault not all of it
I’m puzzled as Who’s behind this Claire Stint?? I really hope Adam is the One who Rescues Nicki. This Tucker Bull Stint has Gone in Way to long it’s really time to bring it to a CLOSE!!
Anyone notice none of the business phones ring at such hugh corps? Really dumb. Phony like most of it.
I’ve been watching since y&r started. I am addicted. Always a surprise around the corner. So happy to see Victor back in full force and being his dynamic self putting those spoiled children of his in their places. Thanks for the entertainment.
