Today’s Young and the Restless recap airs in the USA on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and airs one day ahead in Canada. We post our Y&R recaps every weekday!
Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Victor offered Jordan a deal, Phyllis put the moves on Nick, and Nikki tells Claire her story of Victor & Eve.
Chance’s GCAC Suite
Summer wakes up in Chance’s arms, and they kiss, smiling.
Both their phones ping with a notification. It’s a message from Billy that he wants to meet. “I’m back. We need to meet ASAP.”
Society
Billy walks into the restaurant and sees Phyllis wearing sunglasses and sipping on a bloody Mary. He walks over. “Rough night?”
Phyllis says it’s none of his business.
Billy says he’s indebted to her for showing him an effective hangover cure. He offers to head into the kitchen and get her some raw eggs.
Phyllis says she learned that some of her great ideas weren’t so great after all.
Newman Enterprises
Adam walks into the office and is greeted by Nick.
Nick thought Adam was staying with Connor.
Adam says Chelsea is with Connor; he’s got a few more sessions with the OCD specialist.
Nick knows how tough it is when your child faces a problem like this. He says Adam doesn’t need to be in the office right now; he should be taking care of his family!
Adam nods and says he’ll cover a few meetings and then head back. He says he came back to get some of Connor’s things… Things that Connor doesn’t want anyone else to touch. He looks at his watch and says he’s there to meet with Victor, who seems to be missing in action. He heard that Claire was released, too, and isn’t surprised.
Nick figures Adam hasn’t heard that Victoria’s house was torched the night before.
Adam’s shocked and asks what happened.
Both of their phones ping with a notification. It’s Michael, and he asks them to meet him at the ranch.
Adam goes to leave for the ranch and asks if Nick is coming with him.
Nick says he received some information he’s been waiting for and has to be in the office to handle it. He says he’ll meet Adam at the ranch soon.
The Newman Ranch House
Michael enters the living room.
Nikki rushes over, asking where Victor is… Why isn’t he with Michael? What’s happened?
Victor’s Car
Jordan is sitting in the passenger seat. She has a weapon aimed at Victor and tells him to keep driving and not to do anything foolish.
Victor says he intends to see this through to the very end. He gave himself up willingly to ensure she could escape.
Jordan figures he’s not foolish enough to work against her. She asks what his family thinks of their arrangement… They can’t be too happy that she’s going to be living the life of luxury on Victor’s dime.
Victor says he made the decision on his own.
Jordan scoffs and says Victor had help with his plan… Seth gave him her phone number and Claire, her ingrate of a niece, called Jordan with Victor’s message, which Claire will soon regret.
Victor asks why Claire will regret it; wasn’t it enough that Jordan burned down Victoria’s house?
Jordan says it’s not enough. She devoted her life to Claire, and now she’s been abandoned by her! She asks if Victor is welcoming Claire into the Newman family, or is he using her the way he used Eve.
Victor says Claire was happy to help seal Jordan’s fate.
Newman Ranch
Nikki says Michael had sent her a single text message saying that she shouldn’t worry and everything had gone according to plan.
Michael nods. He stands by his word.
Nikki is upset. She says she needs to know all the details… Has Jordan been arrested?
Michael says he’s sorry for keeping everything under wraps, and Jordan has not been arrested.
Nikki asks where Jordan is; did she show up to meet them?
Michael says that he’ll answer her questions, but Victor instructed him to tell the whole family so they’d get the whole picture and it’d make sense.
Nikki is exasperated. She asks him to at least tell her that Victor is alright.
Society / Summer’s GCAC Suite
Billy tells Phyllis it’s impressive that she’s admitting to having bad ideas, though most people learn life lessons that involve wearing sunglasses at breakfast earlier in life.
Phyllis says she’s just trying to mind her own business. She says Billy’s being judgmental and asks him to go away.
Billy nods and heads to another table, where he takes a seat. His phone rings, and he answers. It’s Chance. Billy asks how soon they can meet.
Summer takes off her robe in the washroom and asks Chance if he will join her in the shower.
Chance asks where Billy is.
Billy says he’s at Society and will order a pot of coffee and whatever Chance wants to eat for breakfast.
As Summer calls out in the background, Chance tells Billy not to wait for him… He’ll be there when he can. He disconnects the call and jogs into the washroom to join Summer.
Billy glances over at Phyllis and brings his coffee over to her table. He says he has an “unexplainable responsibility” to cheer her up. He asks what’s going on… He wants to help!
Phyllis asks why he’d suddenly want to help her; is this his good deed for the week so he can reap the karma?
Billy sits down and says it might be. He had to leave Chelsea alone to deal with some challenges that Connor is facing at school. He didn’t want to come back, but Chelsea insisted, so Phyllis is the recipient of his need to feel useful today. He asks if she’s okay.
Phyllis takes off her sunglasses and says she’s sorry that Connor is going through something, but she doesn’t want to talk about what’s going on with her. She asks why he’s at the restaurant; she thought he’d be working hard at Chancellor-Winters since she heard he was trying to “stake a claim” in the company.
Billy asks where she heard that from.
Phyllis says she heard it from Amanda, who told her that there’s a power struggle between him and Devon and that Billy is trying to be the head honcho at Chancellor-Winters.
Summer’s GCAC Suite
Summer and Chance kiss and wash each other in the shower.
Newman Ranch
Michael tells Nikki everything will be clear once he explains.
Nikki tells him to stop stalling and start explaining.
Claire walks in and says hello. She asks Michael if he met with Jordan… Where’s Victor? Did something happen?
Nikki says she’s been trying to get that information out of him.
Victoria and Cole walk in. Victoria apologizes for keeping them waiting; they had to meet with her insurance agent about the fire.
Cole says Michael’s text sounded urgent; what’s going on?
Nikki says Victor met with Jordan last night and hasn’t come back.
Victoria’s shocked. She asks why nobody told her or Cole about it.
Michael says he’ll explain… They’re just waiting for Nick and Adam to show up.
Adam walks in and says Nick won’t be far behind. He asks what Michael wants and asks where his father is.
Nikki says she wants to know right now. They’re not waiting for Nicholas!
Michael finally agrees and says Victor is being held hostage by Jordan.
Victor’s Car
Jordan tells Victor to admit that he doesn’t care about Claire.
Victor says it’s his granddaughter she’s talking about.
Jordan laughs and says he doesn’t care about Claire… It’s a ruse to make Claire feel safe and loved so he can get to Jordan… She knows how his devious mind works!
Victor says life is like a chess game at times. He figures that Jordan plans to kill him tonight.
Jordan laughs. With her gun? It’s so messy!
Victor says it doesn’t matter… They have a plan that’s mutually beneficial to them both.
Jordan says there’s a problem with their “deal.” Doesn’t he see the problem with it?
Victor says he thought it was generous. What’s wrong with it?
Jordan says Victor claims he’ll have his lawyer drain the bank account and tell INTERPOL where to find her if she doesn’t tell Michael where she’s keeping him hostage.
Victor says he needs insurance to make sure she upholds her end of the bargain.
Jordan says she understands, but what’s to stop Victor from having the account drained and informing INTERPOL the moment she tells Michael where Victor is.
Victor says she’ll just have to trust him.
Jordan laughs and says his deal is a joke… A grand, empty promise!
Victor asks if she’s pulling out of the deal. Doesn’t she want her money and new identity?
Jordan says she would have enjoyed the French chateau.
Victor asks why she’s backing out of their deal.
Jordan says she’s getting what she really wants… She wanted Victor alone without any henchmen, and now that she has him, she can make him pay!

Newman Ranch
Nikki asks Michael how he could let Jordan take Victor hostage.
Claire says Jordan sounded unhinged when she last talked to her.
Adam asks Claire if she knew that Jordan was planning this… Did she know that Victor was meeting with Jordan?
Claire says she only knew because Nikki told her.
Victoria tells Adam to leave Claire alone.
Michael says things are going to plan… Just as Victor predicted, Jordan called Claire last night.
Claire says she gave Jordan Victor’s message just like he asked her to. She told Jordan that Victor wanted to make amends for what happened to Eve.
Michael says Jordan took the bait and reached out to Victor to meet with him.
Adam says Victor should have called the police.
Michael says Victor didn’t want to risk scaring Jordan off and agreed to meet her with only his attorney (Michael) present, with no police and no security detail. She picked an alleyway that couldn’t be surveilled. They couldn’t post police officers nearby, even if they’d wanted to. He says Jordan arrived to meet them holding “a big old gun.”
Nikki sits down on the couch. “Oh, my God!”
Victoria comforts her mother and asks Michael why he let that “mad woman” lead Victor away at gunpoint.
Michael says they all know that nobody can make Victor do anything he doesn’t want to. Victor had more bait, and Jordan took it. Jordan’s plans changed when Victor presented her with his offer.
Cole asks what Victor offered her.
Michael says Victor offered Jordan $10 million, a new identity, and a house in France.
Adam asks why Jordan took Victor hostage if he offered her all that.
Michael says Victor did it to prove it wasn’t a trap. Victor told her she could lock him up somewhere until she safely disappeared.
Society
Summer and Chance walk into the restaurant together. Summer spots her mom and Billy together and groans. “Just what I need… The third degree!”
Chance tells her they can’t let anything ruin their day. The last 12 hours have been perfect; he wants to hold onto that feeling!
Summer agrees. She and Chance walk over and say hello to Phyllis and Billy.
Phyllis puts her sunglasses back on and greets Summer and Chance.
Chance tells Billy he made it as soon as he could.
Billy grins and says he appreciates it.
Chance asks if Billy’s eaten yet.
Billy says he hasn’t. He excuses himself from Phyllis’s table and heads back to his table with Chance.
Summer looks at her mom and asks what’s up with her.
Phyllis says she didn’t get much sleep last night; no big deal. She wonders what’s going on with Summer.
Summer says she’s just there to get some takeout, and then she’s going to head into the office.
Phyllis invites her to have a coffee and chat before she goes.
Summer sits down and says she only has a few minutes… She has a pile of work waiting for her at the office!
Phyllis says that’s fine. She says she needs to know what’s going on with Summer and Chance. She’s her mother and will always cheer her on because she’s going after what she wants.
Summer laughs and says Phyllis is a little too invested in it.
Phyllis says she’s invested in her happiness… So what’s going on?!
Summer says they’ve been “hanging out.”
Phyllis says they came to the restaurant together, and it wasn’t for a breakfast date.
Summer says Phyllis’s detective skills are very impressive.
Phyllis figures they came from the same place… There was a “sleepover!”
Summer says she’s not going into detail about it, but she admits she’s having fun and thinks Chance is having fun, too.
Phyllis says it’s great; she’s happy for her! She says at least one of them is having a successful romantic life.
Billy tells Chance that it seems things are going well between him and Summer.
Chance says they are, but he’s completely focused on work.
Billy’s glad to hear that. He asks for an update and asks how things at work have been going.
Chance says he wants to hear about Chelsea and Connor first… Is everything okay? Billy was a bit vague when they last spoke.
Billy says everything will be okay with Chelsea and Connor. They’re working through things. He asks how Nate and Devon reacted to his absence; did they behave?
Chance says he hates to be blunt, but… Nobody seemed to miss Billy and seemed relieved that he wasn’t around.
Billy nods. He says that’s exactly what he wanted to hear; it makes him happy.
Newman Ranch
Victoria wonders how Victor could place himself in such danger.
Cole says Victor will do anything to protect his family.
Nikki can’t believe Victor would make a deal with Jordan after what she’d put them through.
Adam asks Claire if any of this was her idea; is she working with her aunt?
Claire says it wasn’t her idea, and she’s not working with her aunt.
A Grimy Warehouse
Jordan leads Victor into a warehouse at gunpoint. She opens a storeroom and gestures for him to enter. Inside, there’s a dingy cot and brick walls.
Victor steps in and looks around. He says she really planned ahead.
Jordan grins and says it’s cozy. She asks him to have a seat, and he does. Jordan tells him it’s the perfect place for him and Nikki to die, but he’ll have to die alone. After she got his offer, she had to abandon her “two-for-one” plan, but he still played right into her hands.
Victor says he thought it was his idea to hold him hostage.
Jordan says that made it sweeter.
Victor says it was silly of him to think he could outsmart her.
Jordan laughs and says she’d been trying to teach Claire that Victor’s arrogance is his blind spot and will be his ultimate downfall.
Society
Chance asks Billy why it makes him happy to hear that Nate and Devon like it when Billy isn’t in town.
Billy says it means his presence is creating a “certain kind of pressure” in the office.
Chance says Devon and Nate are worried about what moves Billy will make next… That can’t be good.
Billy says he’s keeping everyone on their toes so they make sure they’re doing their best.
Chance thinks Billy is more focused on office politics than the actual work.
Billy says they’re tied together and impact each other. He says that’s Chance’s first lesson of the day.
Chance wants to know what Billy’s real agenda is. He asks whether Billy is content to run things smoothly while Lily is away, or if he’s looking for more power in the company, which would prove Devon and Nate right.
Billy asks where Chance’s suspicion is coming from.
Chance says Billy asked him to be his eyes and ears, and he’s reporting back.
Billy says Chance shouldn’t have trust issues just because Nate and Devon do. He says Chance should be on his (Billy)’s side if he wants a place in the company.
Chance says he’d feel better knowing whether or not Billy was using him as a spy for his own purposes.
Society
Phyllis tells Summer that she’s glowing and walking around with a stupid grin on her face.
Summer gets all embarrassed. “Are you saying we look like idiots?”
Phyllis says they are, but she loves it. She blathers on for a bit about Summer and Chance’s relationship, obviously tying it in with her failed relationship with Danny.
Summer asks her mom what’s going on with her; she sounds like she’s in mourning for something she doesn’t have! Since when has she had a bloody Mary for breakfast? Did something happen last night? Does it have something to do with Danny?
Newman Enterprises
Victoria is shocked that Adam would ask Claire if she’s helping her aunt. She says Victor insisted that Claire help him.
Cole says Claire risked her safety and well-being to help Victor set the trap for Jordan.
Claire tells Adam she wants Jordan locked up just as much as any of them do.
Victoria tells Claire she doesn’t have to explain herself to Adam.
Adam says he’s surprised at how quickly they embraced Claire; it’s like they’d forgotten that Claire tried to kill them all! Her aunt raised her to hate them; how can they know she isn’t in league with Jordan?
Claire says that Jordan lied to her for her whole life, and now that she knows the truth, she’s part of the family… Like it or not!
Adam isn’t convinced that it wasn’t Claire’s plan all along.
Cole’s had enough. He tells Adam to quit with his accusations.
Claire looks incredulous. She says her mom was right; Adam isn’t like the other Newmans! She says everyone is welcoming her, but Adam is going out of his way to accuse her.
Nikki says they need to stop; their bickering isn’t helping them find out what’s happened to Victor.
Michael says he believes Victor is alive and well. He explains that Victor warned Jordan that Michael would drain the bank account and alert INTERPOL if he didn’t receive a phone call the moment she was out of the country.
Nikki wonders why Victor thought Jordan would follow his rules; she’s clearly not rational. She says Jordan burned down Victoria’s house and wanted to kill everyone in it, and she’ll probably try to double-cross him.
Michael says Victor told him he’d made arrangements to ensure he wasn’t double-crossed.
Adam asks what Victor’s backup plan is.
Michael doesn’t know.
A Grimy Warehouse
Jordan tells Victor he’s taking things well for a man who will spend the rest of his “incredibly short life” locked in this room.
Victor knows she’s not bluffing. He knows she intends to lock him in and let him die alone here. He asks how she intends to live without the money; she should have accepted his offer!
Jordan says he can’t buy her off. He is going to spend the rest of his life in this room, starving and dying here.
A shadowy figure appears and slips into the room through the door, pulling out a taser.
Jordan says Nikki and his rich and beautiful children will grieve for Victor until she comes after them. She rants that the whole Newman family will pay. It’s not over!
Victor sees the figure’s arm reach around with the taser and put it to Jordan’s neck. Victor says, “It is over.”
ZzZzzzTt! Jordan falls to the ground, and Nick kneels down to check her pulse.
Victor says he was starting to think Nick would never get there.
Society
Phyllis tells Summer she doesn’t want to talk about Danny.
Summer says she can’t do that; if Phyllis can ask her about her love life, then she has to dish when her daughter asks!
Phyllis says she tried to shoot her shot with him, but she struck out.
Summer says she’s sorry… But Phyllis can’t be that surprised about it.
Phyllis asks what she means.
Summer says Danny and Christine have a lot of history together. She says they’re the “real deal,” and it’s pretty hard to compete with that.
Phyllis is surprised; even her daughter doesn’t think she’s worthy of being loved.
Billy asks Chance if he has a chip on his shoulder because Billy rejected his idea for the music festival.
Chance shakes his head and says it’s about Billy respecting him enough to be honest with him.
Billy says he’ll be honest; it benefits them both if Billy has a bigger presence at Chancellor-Winters because they’re both there to support and protect Jill from whatever Mamie Johnson is pushing Nate and Devon to do.
Chance nods. So Billy is protecting Jill’s interests, not his own.
Billy says that Jill’s interests are their interests, and if Chance wants his place in the company, he suggests that he follow Billy’s lead.
Newman Ranch
Michael says that he was in the dark about what happened after Jordan and Victor left.
Claire says Jordan gets harder to predict when she’s under pressure.
Michael laughs and says they’re talking about Victor… Victor said there was something else, and Jordan wouldn’t see it coming.
A Grimy Warehouse
Jordan wakes up on the dingy mattress. She groans, “Where am I?”
Victor grins and tells her she’s not in the south of France in a mansion with a pool. He yells out, “Cozy, isn’t it? HUH?!”
Jordan asks how Nick knew where they were.
Victor pulls out a tracking device.
Jordan says she was watching behind them… Nobody followed them!
Nick says he wasn’t behind them… He was following a parallel route. He shows her the gun. “Looking for this?”
Victor leans in and tells her never to underestimate him.

I love this hasn’t been in a while since we have had this much excitement!!!
Great plan Victor! Now get her sorry butt in high security prison & lose the key!
I agree with Pam I don’t know why the writers dragged the story so long,I mean Victor had far more worthy adversaries Jordan is just a crazy person bravo Victor.
I love it. The man seems to have come through again. I wanted Jordan dead!!.
Jordan is great but Victor is greater!
I’m glad this is over . I hope there no gun shooing at the end .
Victor rides again lol
Finally, now lock Jordan up.
Let’s hope the story ends there, and as usual Victor will be a winner
Good show but I had to fast forward through Phyllis’s whining. She is disgusting.
The story line between Summer and Chance is ridiculous he look old enough to be her father just
Watch she will get pregnant even though she was diagnosed not to have children anymore
Victor for his age is fantastic getting the bad guys. So glad Nick was side riding the GPS.
Victor always comes out on top. Would we have it any other way.
Now it’s time to get Diane’s lying self out of the picture and Jack’s life.
I am obsessed with Y&R. I love the Victor vs Jordan script. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Sad about killing off Seth. Want to see more hard hitting facts on alcoholism, mental health (Ashley) mental abuse(Claire) and some intrigue filled corporate stuff. 💜
Hopefully this is come to a end very boring
I thought was the best episode!
I hope they got Jordan, and I hope Claire isnt pulling some stuff too.
Watch ever show
Alleluia. I ❤️ it. I used to watch in my teen years. Now that I’m retired I got into the young & restless & bold & beautiful. It makes my day. I love to hate these crazy characters. If I hate you, great acting!
