Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Tucker challenged Ashley’s memory of their breakup; Victor questioned Nikki’s honesty and met her AA sponsor, Seth.
Society
Summer enters the restaurant and sees Chance sitting at the bar. She approaches and asks what he’s drinking.
Chance says he’s having an orange, guava, and passion fruit juice.
He should have probably stuck with coffee.
Summer sits down with him and asks if something else is wrong… Is he having second thoughts about leaving the police force?
She leans in and says his secret is safe with her.
He admits he just needs time to process the change. She thinks he needs help. 
She makes a fast call and leaves, returning later with a bag.
She got him shirts, ties, and things to start work for the first few days.
He opens the bag in awe. How did she know his size?
She’s a pro, she says. He can’t accept it but she reminds him she gets a huge discount.
She says he can get Sharon’s input on the clothes.
He seems a little off and she reminds him they’re friends.
He can tell her anything. Chance hems and haws and doesn’t want to burden her.
She scoffs at that, reminding him how many times she leaned on him.
He says it might be a long conversation.
She says that’s fine. “Let’s talk over lunch.” They grin at each other.
Crimson Lights
Adam and Nick sit and discuss their upcoming presentation for their father, strategizing on how to impress Victor.
Sharon walks in and is surprised to see them getting along.
Adam and Nick raise their coffee mugs in a toast to getting along with each other and tell Sharon that they’re being forced to get along by their father, and they’re going with it.
They joke that they’ve fooled her.
They’re just visualizing success. “Yeah,” Nick says. “Builds morale.”
She wishes them luck, and he says that they don’t need it.
“We have each other.” He looks at Nick. “Too much?” Nick agrees.
When Adam’s gone, Sharon confesses she broke up with Chance. Nick’s shocked because he thought it was going well. She says it was.
There are no hard feelings. He’ll want a long term relationship soon and will need to be free to pursue it.
She’s too busy with work and calls it wonderful.
Nick wishes he could share in her success.
He can’t wait to see her at the launch party and is concerned and hopes she will find a life-work balance.
He jokes about her dating life being behind her now.
She says when the right guy comes along, she’ll be ready.
She calls Chance fun and funny and easy on the eyes.
“I mean, if that’s your type,” Nick jokes.
Sharon doesn’t want to make the same mistakes as she had in thinking the relationship is more than it should be.
They agree they were lucky to have the real thing.
Next time around, she’s not settling!
Ashley walks into the patio and sees Cole. She’s surprised and flashes back to when Cole told her he was going to Oxford.
It upset her, and she admitted she had spoken with Victoria.
She knows Cole told her he wanted them to start a family.
He shared an intimate conversation with his ex.
It’s not even an isolated incident. She yelled about their bond and that she couldn’t live with it.
She approaches her ex, and they embrace happily.
He calls her beautiful, and they sit as she asks why he’s there.
He calls it a private family thing, and she hopes it works out.
He asks about her marriage, but she says it didn’t work.
He’s sorry. She brushes it off.
He says whatever happened between them, “I’m sure you were too good for him.”
Victoria interrupts. It’s awkward. Victoria needs to talk to Cole privately. Ashley knows that they have family business.
Victoria coldly thanks her for staying out of it, and Ashley hugs Cole and takes off.
Cole wonders how long they can keep Claire a secret from everyone.
He thinks letting everyone know the truth will be a start in releasing Jordan’s control.
Victoria wants him to think twice because Claire asked them not to visit her anymore.
She’s lost, has guilt and shame, and it’s too painful for her. Cole says they don’t hold her responsible and have even told her so.
Victoria says she doesn’t hear it because she hates herself and has learned from Jordan it’s unsafe to count on anyone.
That drives Cole crazy. She knows the damage won’t be undone overnight.
They can keep reminding her of how they feel about her.
Victoria wants to show her what life could be like; the one she deserves.
Cole vows to give her what she needs for as long as it takes.
They’ll figure out a way to get through to her.
Victoria admires how well he’s parenting for a newbie.
He jokes that he has no clue as to what he’s doing.
She smiles. Cole calls the baby his only child that was stolen from them. Looking at her, he thinks of what he missed and wonders if she has his eyes.
She asked what life would have been like if they had known she was alive, and he admits he’d have given her the world.
Victoria gets a call from Memorial and tells them they’ll be right there. Claire wants to see them.
He hopes she was testing them by saying to stay away and feels like this is another shot for them.
The GCAC Dining Room
Tucker finds Audra pouting at the Athletic Club. She asks for his honesty. What it looks like is that he can’t let go of Ashley.
She thinks he’s hopeful that Ashley will come back to him if he can get her to tell him she overreacted to what happened in Paris.
If he continues on this path, every plan they had will go down the drain.
Tucker maintains that nothing has changed.
She barks that her career is riding on this. He’s holding all the cards.
Can she trust him, or is Ashley gonna ruin this?
“Yes,” he says, which angers Audra off further.
He doesn’t get to pull this on her.
Tucker admits he’s not sure how he’ll react if Ashley was telling the truth.
He’d cross a line for Ashley but can’t guarantee anything.
His life is in flux. Audra hates that they were in sync a minute ago.
This is goodbye. She tells him to pine over Ashley all he wants, but she needs to salvage her career.
She tells him to look at his phone. He might have messages that have everyone hanging on by a thread. She gets up and leaves.
Adam strolls in and finds Sally near the doors. She seems perky.
She comments that so does he. They each have good news.
She has to reschedule dinner, so he suggests lunch right now.
They can share their good news.
Sally and Adam get a seat. Sally thinks lunch is more appropriate anyway.
She calls breakfast the safest meal, but he says it depends on the evening before. He recalls some of their breakfasts that were provocative.
She says dinner means drinks. They talk about how many drinks are involved in lunch and how it means ‘danger ahead.’
They discuss how there could be dancing, and the talk turns back to their good news.
Sally admits she got three new clients. Adam’s happy for her.
She asks for his news.
He says life’s going good because he’s with her right now and says there’s something else.
He tells her about his father forcing him and his brother to be civil and that it’s working so far.
She hopes it sticks and finds it nice that he wants his father to be proud of his accomplishments.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker reads Kyle’s text asking if Tucker’s made a decision yet. He calls Kyle.
“Get my message?” Kyle wants to know.
Tucker says, “Yes, and goodbye.” Kyle’s confused.
Tucker knows what Kyle’s up to and says Audra has confirmed it. Let’s not do the whole denial thing.
Kyle tries to explain, but Tucker disconnects.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle’s in shock as he turns to his father to tell him the whole plan is dead in the water. He blames himself.
Ashley arrives and learns Kyle backed out of the deal because Audra spilled the beans.
Ashley shakes her head, thinking it’s a mystery why he decided to trust her.
Kyle asks himself that same question, but Jack defends his son who took a chance and learned a lesson.
Now they’ll close the chapter and move on. Kyle has to rush to the office, but Ashley asks if he wants time to process it. He can’t.
Jack asks if he’s okay, and he assures his dad and aunt he can handle it.
Once Kyle’s gone, Jack immediately starts to worry about his sister being with Tucker.
He can tell she met Tucker by her mood. She sighs. Jack thinks she returned too soon.
She claims ignoring him isn’t the right thing to do. He asks what Tucker did now.
She says he is trying to make her believe the most painful lie in a feeble attempt to make himself look less horrible.
It’s as simple as that. Jack thinks everything the man does is for revenge. Ashley agrees and wishes he’d get out of her life for good.
Jack’s so sorry. He can see she’s still in deep. The sooner she realizes, the better. There is no point in denying it.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle angrily barges into Audra’s suite. She says, “Uh, we are no longer on ‘show up uninvited’ terms.”
Kyle asks what the hell she was thinking, telling Tucker he was sabotaging the plan.
She was protecting him against Tucker, who knew Kyle was framing him for corporate espionage.
Kyle sighs and asks what the worst is he could do.
He claims he knows who she is and what her motive is.
She tells “Golden Boy” to give it a shot. Tucker arrives and tells Kyle it’s over. He doesn’t need him to steal a Jabot product, and never did.
Kyle asks what the point was and learns he just wanted to see if the younger man had the stones to do it.
If Tucker looks past all the “hair gel,” he can see potential, but he’d have to break free from the stranglehold his dad has on him and become, like him, a world-class bastard.
Kyle hauls off and punches Tucker in the face, causing the older man to spin around and fall on the sofa.
Audra rushes to Tucker’s side and the man sits up and nods. “Pretty good.”
Memorial Hospital
Victoria and Cole arrive at Claire’s room and say they were surprised to get her call. They want her to know there’s no pressure.
Claire hasn’t changed her mind. She can’t have them in her life. Victoria says they called her back.
They’ll always be there. She can’t be around them and calls it for the best.
They can go back to forgetting she ever existed. “No,” Cole says, telling her they never forgot her and they’ll always be a part of one another.
He asks to sit in on one of her sessions but she refuses. She needs to focus on her future and has a final request.
She says Michael Baldwin signed off on this and confides that she needs to face off against Aunt Jordan or she can’t get better.
She asks them to make arrangements and make this happen.

I guess Cole didn’t have any other kids nor a marriage to leave?
When are they going to bring Reed back, and tell Johnny & Katie?
A great episode. I am hoping Claire will change her mind to letting Victoria and Cole be a part of her life.
I hope that Claire would change her mind about Victoria and Cole and give them a chance to get to know them after she found that she was stolen and they didn’t no and that she get to her family and her sister and brother
Nowadays I just read the title of a article. The article is not worth reading and the show is not worth watching. Each episode gets worse and worse. But I will say this, when Hunter King left and they written Kyle’s and Summer character off they should have stayed written off. The acting is so dull and boring along with Chance. His character does not belong on the show.
