On the last episode of Y&R, Michael surprised Lauren with a ring, and families gathered on Christmas Eve.
The Newman Ranch House
Victoria and Nick rush into the living room, panicked, and ask their father if he has any news on their missing mother. Victoria figures Jordan must have kidnapped their mom or lured her away.
Their mom’s been missing since Christmas Eve, and Nick doesn’t think their mom would leave without letting them know.
Victor looks at them solemnly and tells them that there may be another reason Nikki left; she might be drinking again.
A Cabin in the Woods
Nikki opens the door to a dusty cabin and wobbles in, calling for Jordan. She’s obviously drunk.
Jordan steps out of the shadows, holding a handgun. “Hello, Nikki. So glad you could make it!”
Nikki says she came alone in the car Jordan hired for her. Nobody followed her, just as she asked her to.
Jordan asks how many years of sobriety she’s destroyed.
Nikki tells her to shut up and to take her to Claire.
Jordan is surprised Nikki came there after what Claire did to the Newmans.
Nikki says it’s not Claire’s fault; Claire was brainwashed for years and shouldn’t have to suffer for Jordan’s insanity!
Jordan says Nikki’s crazy for coming to the countryside to see Claire even though Claire poisoned the Newman family.
Nikki retorts that Claire gave them the antidote, turned herself in, and confessed.
Jordan says she doesn’t understand why Nikki’s there.
Nikki would do anything for her children.
Jordan asks if she’s willing to die for them.
The Newman Ranch House
Nick can’t believe his mom would start drinking again. She hasn’t had a drink in years!
Victoria says their mother’s strong and wouldn’t let Jordan win.
Victor tells them that Nate told him in the jazz lounge.
Nick doesn’t think much of Nate and makes it clear.
Victoria says she knows what Nick thinks, but Nate wouldn’t lie about Nikki’s sobriety.
Victor says Nikki came down when he was talking with Nate. She saw them talking, and ran away, looking ashamed, and the next thing he knew, his car was gone.
Victoria’s worried that Nikki is driving drunk.
Victor’s already alerted the hospitals and told the state troopers to keep an eye out.
Nick doesn’t buy it. It has to be Jordan! They know she’s in town because of what she left at the motel.
Victor says he needs to check something. He gets up and smells the vodka bottle, proclaiming it to be mostly water.
The Cabin in the Woods
Jordan says the Newmans love each other… Unless it’s Claire, who Nikki dismissed like she never existed.
Nikki laughs and tells Jordan she can’t keep track of her own scam. Jordan admitted she had kidnapped Claire and lied to her her whole life.
Jordan says she did it to protect her from Nikki’s “despicable” family. She says they should have got a DNA sample.
Nikki says they did. Claire is Cole and Victoria’s daughter!
Jordan cackles and says she’s not crazy after all!
Nikki says she’s a crazy loon who’s put them through hell and is a psycho. She asks why Jordan never gave Claire a real life; Claire deserves more than a pathetic drunk for a grandmother. She tells Jordan to let Claire go!
Jordan says she wishes she had this on camera… She gloats about Nikki falling off the wagon.
Nikki asks what Jordan’s getting out of this. She says Eve’s life was a mess, and she got back at them decades ago; Jordan doesn’t have to avenge Eve… After all, Jordan and Eve were estranged at the time!
Jordan says they were estranged because of Victor.
Nikki says Eve never told them she had a sister.
Jordan told Eve not to get involved with Victor, “that narcissist,” but Eve didn’t listen to her; if she had, maybe Eve would still be alive.
Nikki says she had a sister who’s a doctor that she was going to see.
Jordan thinks she’s trying to bond with her about sisters. She says Nikki’s more stupid than she thought.
Nikki says the past is the past. Jordan can’t do anything that would be meaningful; she can’t bring Eve back. She says Jordan will die alone if she doesn’t end this.
Jordan says watching her die will be reward enough; watching Victor, Victoria, and her “idiot son” afterward…
Nikki asks why she has to die.
Jordan says she said it was a trade. Claire’s life for Nikki’s.
The Newman Ranch House
Cole shows up and reassures everyone that they’ll find Nikki.
Victor says Nikki was supposedly driven home last night, but she disappeared.
Nick explains that Nikki’s been drinking again.
Cole asks how long it’s been, and Victor tells him it might have been happening since Nikki got home.
Victoria says her mom wouldn’t have broken her sobriety if Jordan hadn’t forced alcohol on her. She calls her evil.
Victor answers a call and yells at them when they tell him there aren’t enough people to find his wife. He yells into the phone for them to hire more people and find his wife now!
Victoria finds her mom’s purse in the couch. She finds the flask and holds it up. There’s a scrap of paper in it with an address.
Cole hears the address and looks at the paper. He knows the address; he’s been there.

Nikki says she needs a drink after what she’s been through.
Jordan is more than happy to bring her a bottle of vodka and promises it isn’t poisoned or drugged. She has a better way for Nikki to die. She pats her gun and tells Nikki to drink up.
Nikki sniffs the vodka suspiciously and drinks it as Jordan tells her she’s pitiful. Nikki says she wanted a trade. Is this all a setup?
Jordan says Claire’s loyalty was put to the test. Claire is there and must witness the end of their hard work.
Nikki asks if Claire’s there willingly, but Jordan tells her to shut up; she’s tedious.
Jordan tells her to drink up and rolls Claire into the room in a wheelchair.
The Newman Ranch House
Cole says 72 Dockside Lane is the cabin his mom took him to as a kid.
Victor says it’s Nikki’s handwriting. He tells Nick to phone the cops. Nick does.
Victoria freaks out that her mom’s vulnerable and doesn’t know why Nikki is out there trying to get to Claire.
A Cabin in the Woods
Jordan tells Nikki that Claire’s fine… She’s just been sedated. She orders Nikki to drink up so this can end.
Claire groans and starts to wake up, and Jordan is distracted.
Nikki grabs the bottle and smashes it over Jordan’s head. She was only faking being drunk! She goes to get Claire from the wheelchair, but Jordan gets up and grabs her.
Jordan grabs at her, and they grapple.
Claire pulls herself together and points the gun at them.
Jordan tells Claire to choose wisely. Which one of them is she going to save?
The Newman Ranch House
Victoria can’t stop thinking that her mother is out driving drunk. The whole thing is a nightmare!
Cole plays the devil’s advocate. He wonders if Claire’s happy that Jordan got her out of the psych ward.
Victoria says Claire’s not a villain; she’s a victim as much as the rest of them.
Cole says she was a participant in Oregon. He can’t understand how Victoria can trust her.
Victoria says she talked to her, and they had a connection. She doesn’t think Claire would turn back to Jordan’s side.

Jordan tells Claire to choose wisely; it’s going to change her life forever. She tells her not to screw up.
Claire tells her aunt to get away from Nikki; now!
Jordan tells Claire to put the gun down; she’s got sedatives in her veins, and she’s not thinking straight! She’s let the Newmans mess with her mind! She’s not her enemy!
Nikki says she’s lying.
Jordan tells Claire not to turn on her now.
Claire says Jordan left her and ran to the police.
Jordan protests and says she hid in the house and got Claire out of the psych unit, where she was going to be for “God knows how long!” She tells Claire to point the gun at Nikki because she’s nothing to her and never will be.
Claire says Jordan doesn’t know that.
Jordan says she knows, and Eve knew too, but Eve found out the hard way. She tells Claire she’s naive and is in for disappointment.
Nikki tells Claire that Jordan will say anything to make her doubt the Newman family.
Jordan tells Nikki to shut up. She tells Claire that the Newmans destroyed her grandmother and they want to keep her locked in a padded room. She tells Claire to put the gun down so they can run together.
Nikki tells Claire that Victoria was heartbroken and had never gotten over the news that her daughter had died.
Jordan says Claire owes the Newmans nothing; they threw her away!
Claire tells Jordan it’s a lie; Jordan stole her from Victoria and Cole, who would have loved her!
Jordan asks if they’ve said they love her.
Nikki says it’s going to take time to undo Jordan’s evils.
Claire cries and tells Jordan she would have been loved if she hadn’t been stolen as a baby. She says Jordan doesn’t deserve to live.
Nick’s Car
Nick is driving through the woods with his father in the passenger seat.
Victor says he doesn’t know what they’ll find in the cabin, but there will be hell to pay if Nikki’s been hurt.
The Newman Ranch House
Victoria worries that Claire wants Nikki to suffer.
Cole tells Victoria they have to wait and see. He thinks Nikki is resourceful, and if she went to see Jordan, she would have had a plan.
Victoria hopes he’s right. She thinks about what it would have been like if they had known she was alive. She thinks Claire would have been happy.
Cole says he’s numb about it and doesn’t want to have to lose her again.
Victoria says maybe they could spend the holidays together.
The Cabin in the Woods
Sirens can be heard faintly but growing louder, and Nikki tells Claire not to throw her life away for Jordan.
Jordan approaches Claire and tells her Nikki tricked them. Nikki didn’t come here to save Claire; she just wanted to set a trap for them!
Nikki tells Claire her only plan was to make sure she was safe and to get Jordan into prison.
Claire says prison is too good for Jordan. Jordan would plead insanity and be sent to a hospital like Claire was that she could escape from. She says they can’t let her hurt anyone else ever again.
Jordan tells her to pull the trigger… Or does she not have the courage?
Claire refuses to shoot her.
Jordan tells her she’s weak, just like she was when she helped the Newmans escape.
Nikki can’t stand it anymore. She grabs Jordan and throws her into a pole, where she hits her head. Jordan lies motionless on the floor.
Nikki tells Claire to give her the gun; Jordan can’t control her anymore.
Jordan breaks down in tears and gives Nikki the gun. She cries into Nikki’s shoulder.
The police have arrived, and Jordan is being led away by an officer. Jordan tells Claire that she broke her heart.
Claire says Jordan broke her life.
Nikki tells the officers to get Jordan out of her sight. They do.
Nikki and Claire sit at the table. The place is a mess, with newspapers and crumbs everywhere. Nikki tells Claire to drink water to help her flush her system.
Victor’s voice rings out, and Nikki calls for him to find her.
Nikki and Victor embrace. Victor gives Claire an inscrutable look, and asks what happened.
Nikki will tell him about it later. She just wants to go home.
Victor asks Claire if she’s okay.
Nick wonders if they’re taking Claire with them.
Nikki says they are; Claire saved her, and she wouldn’t be there without her.
Victor says they owe Claire a debt of gratitude.
Claire asks what’s going to happen to Jordan.
Nikki says she’s not sure, but Cole and Victoria will never let Jordan near Claire again, and she’ll never be able to hurt her.
Claire cries and says she’s sorry for everything.
