Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Ashley announced her engagement to Tucker, Phyllis contacted Summer, and Nate revealed his intentions to Audra.
The Restaurant at the GCAC
Daniel sits at the bar drinking a beer, remembering his conversation with Summer about her lying to Kyle.
He recalls that Summer told him that she hadn’t gotten any response from Phyllis, and how he’d promised to get Phyllis help to come home safely.
Lily walks up and kisses Daniel, and Lucy walks in, seeing them together.
Lucy smiles and says that it’s nice to see Lily again.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Devon and Abby sit at the bar in the jazz lounge and talk.
Abby tells Devon that she’s worried that Ashley is thinking of marrying Tucker.
Chancellor Park
Tucker and Ashley sit on a bench in the park.
Tucker tells Ashley that he’s still surprised that Ashley told Jack and Diane that she and Tucker are engaged.
He says that he wants to know how Ashley really feels about him.
Ashley says he deserves to know.
Society
Christine meets Chance and sits down at the bar with him.
She asks if he’s found any evidence to help put Diane away.
Chance says that he got some “evidence” from Jack that seems to point to Phyllis possibly being alive.
He wonders if Christine is going to ask him to stop investigating this far-out theory.
Crimson Lights
Summer walks into the coffee shop and talks with Sharon.
Sharon says that Summer has a big support group, and hopes she knows it.
Summer says she knows she’s got everyone to lean on. She orders some coffee and a “bag of carbs”.
Sharon says that saying reminds her of Phyllis. She says it’s nice that Summer is keeping Phyllis’s memory alive.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Phyllis is in the hall outside of a suite in the club.
She messages Summer on her phone, saying that it’s time to meet.
Phyllis heads inside the hotel room.
The Restaurant at the GCAC
Lily tells Lucy that she didn’t mean for her to see her kissing her dad.
Lucy laughs.
Lily says they should all go out for dinner that night.
Daniel says that he can’t, he’s going to be going to dinner with Chelsea, Billy, Johnny, and Connor.
Lily says they can all go and be adults.
Lucy asks Lily what she means by that, and Lily just laughs.
Society
Christine asks if there’s security footage to back up Jack’s story about the hair and the DNA.
Chance says there’s not, but he has a gut feeling that there’s something more to look into.
Christine says she trusts his instincts, and says that she needs to know if something comes up.
Chancellor Park
Ashley tells Tucker it must have been confusing for him to hear her talking about their love, and she’s sorry that she can’t tell him what he wants to hear.
Tucker sighs and says he’s in the friend zone.
Ashley says they’re more than friends, and she really likes him. She tells him that her heart is opening to him more every day, but she doesn’t love him like a wife should love a husband.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Abby relays to Devon how Ashley told Jack about her engagement.
Devon wonders if Ashley sees something they don’t.
Abby worries that Tucker hasn’t changed.
Devon says he’s not sure he believes Tucker’s retirement story. He says he’s not sure if Tucker is capable of leading a life of leisure.
Crimson Lights
Summer goes to leave the cafe and gets a message to meet Phyllis.
Sharon tells her that she forgot her change, and Summer tells her not to worry about it.
Summer goes to leave and almost runs into Chance on the way out. She asks him if there’s any news, and he says no. Summer leaves the cafe.
Chance orders a coffee, and Sharon asks if she owes Chance a thank you.
Society
Lily, Daniel, and Lucy arrive at the restaurant. Connor, Johnny, Billy, and Chelsea arrived just before them.
Lily tells Billy and Chelsea that she hopes they don’t mind her crashing the party.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Abby asks Devon if he thinks that Ashley and Tucker’s engagement is real.
Devon says he’s not sure, it’s all speculation. He says that Abby seemed to be getting closer to Tucker… They were dancing the other night.
Abby says that’s true, but maybe Tucker is just trying to gain her trust and will betray them later.

Chancellor Park
Tucker says that Ashley is his “better angel” and he’ll never give up on the two of them being together.
He says that he wishes Ashley could love him for who he is, instead of who he could be.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Summer walks into the hotel room and sees Phyllis.
Phyllis cries out and they hug each other tightly, smiling.
Society
The kids sit at another table while the adults sit around looking at the menu and deciding on their meals.
They make small talk, and Billy says he doesn’t know what he wants to eat.
Lily tells him he’ll get the same dish he always gets… A shrimp empanada.
Chelsea says she didn’t know that was his favorite.
They talk about Lily’s trip to Chicago, asking about whether she went shopping and how Charlie is doing.
Lily says she went to Chicago for business and to see Charlie, so she didn’t get any shopping done.
Johnny explains to Lucy how he is related to Connor, and they talk about their twisted family trees.
Lucy says that she has a strange family dynamic too.
Connor asks if Lucy can speak Portuguese.
Crimson Lights
Chance tells Sharon he doesn’t understand… What is she thanking him for?
Sharon says that she got a mystery bottle of champagne and thought it might have been Chance who sent it to her.
Connor says he wishes he could take credit for it, but once things calm down at work, he’ll send her 5 bottles of champagne and they can celebrate then.
Sharon laughs and says that Nick recommended that she throw the bottle away, so she did.
Chance says that it’s weird that someone would send it to her anonymously.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Phyllis asks if Summer was followed.
Summer says she wasn’t. She asks how Phyllis made it to the hotel without being recognized.
Phyllis says that Summer didn’t notice her slip the hotel keycard into her back pocket while she was out shopping.
They talk for a few minutes about how Phyllis never wanted to leave Summer and Daniel.
Summer says that she just wants to make sure Phyllis is safe, even if she needs to disappear for a while.
Phyllis says it killed her to be away from Summer and Daniel, and she’ll never ever abandon them again.
Chancellor Park
Ashley tells Tucker that they should focus on their fake engagement; they have to prove that they’re serious by starting some wedding planning.
Tucker asks what Ashley’s thoughts are on an extravagant wedding.
Ashley says they should get married in a castle. She says they should talk about their honeymoon.
Tucker says he’s riveted by Ashley and will do anything she wants to do.
Ashley smiles at him and asks him how he’s feeling.
Tucker says that it seems that a part of Ashley wants the wedding to be real.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Devon says he didn’t mean to get Abby all riled up.
Abby says that if Tucker is winning over Ashley, they have to do something to protect her… Fast.
Devon says he might have a way to do that.
Phyllis & Stark’s Motel Room
Chance looks around the room for evidence, but doesn’t seem to find anything.
He peels off his gloves and puts them in the trash, and then does a double-take, looking at the garbage can with a thoughtful look on his face.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Summer and Phyllis sit on the couch, talking.
Summer tells Phyllis that she told Daniel the truth about Phyllis.
Phyllis said she knew that Summer had told Daniel.
She tells Summer that she called Daniel and she didn’t say anything, but Daniel knew it was her. Phyllis relates how Daniel pled with her to talk to him and kept telling Phyllis to forgive Summer for telling him about her.
Summer says Phyllis won’t like what Daniel did.
She says that Daniel told everyone that Phyllis is alive.
Phyllis asks if Christine and Chance believe she’s alive.
Society
Chelsea and Lily talk about Omega Sphere until Billy suggests a subject change.
They look over at the other table as the kids laugh about something.
Billy suggests they get some cake.
Johnny says that it must be cool for Lucy to have a video game designed after her.
Lucy laughs and starts talking about how boring it was at boarding school.
Johnny says he went to boarding school as well.
Connor can’t seem to relate and says he can tell how often he’s in trouble by how often he’s sent to visit Victor at the Newman Ranch.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Summer doesn’t seem to think Phyllis is too upset about Daniel telling everyone that she’s alive.
Phyllis says she’s upset that Daniel “blabbed”, but is more concerned if there’s a full-blown manhunt for her.
Summer says that Christine doesn’t believe that Phyllis is alive.
Phyllis laughs and says that Christine only wishes she was dead.
Outside the Dove Motel
Chance digs through the motel’s garbage bins for a while.
After a bit, he finds Phyllis’s memorial pamphlet, crumpled up.
He picks it up and examines it closely.
Society
Everyone prepares to leave, and Johnny and Lucy exchange phone numbers.
Billy asks if Chelsea needs a ride home, but she declines, and Billy leaves.
Lily says she has to meet Devon at the club. She leaves with Daniel.
Connor and Chelsea are left alone. Chelsea asks Connor if he had fun.
Connor says that he did, but he wants to go home.
Chancellor Park
Ashley tells Tucker that there’s a difference between fantasizing about a wedding and fantasizing about a wedding with him.
She says that she asked him to move in because she wanted things to work out, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the rest of it could work out. They kiss.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Devon says he will get closer to Tucker so he can figure out what’s going on with him.
Abby kisses Devon and says he’ll do anything for her.
Devon says he will do anything to help, and he’ll get her the inside goods.
Outside the Nova Motel
Chance calls forensics on his cell and asks if they can get fingerprints off of the paper. They assure him they can.
He asks if they can get DNA from a tearstain, even if there’s mascara in it. They reply in the affirmative, and he leaves to bring the evidence to the labs.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Summer says that Daniel kept Summer’s name out of the story he told. She says that Daniel told them that Phyllis had contacted him instead.
Phyllis says that’s exactly why she didn’t tell Daniel, but she’s not going to hold it against him. She says she wants to see Daniel and give him a hug.
Summer gets upset and says that if Daniel knows where Phyllis is, he’ll go to the police.
She tells Phyllis that they have to do it her way. Summer tells Phyllis not to see Daniel.
