Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Elena confronted Victoria & Nate, Billy revealed that Ashley may be trying to stage a coup at Jabot, and Tucker & Audra amicably parted ways.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki and Victoria discuss how they want to end a partnership in Shanghai.
Nikki says she figured that Victoria was going to go that route, and she has the paperwork ready.
Victoria asks Nikki why she’s staring at her.
Nikki says she’s wondering what gave Victoria a “glow”.
The GCAC Restaurant
Summer and Kyle sit in the club’s restaurant and talk about camps for Harrison. They look at various camp websites on their phones.
Summer reaches over and holds Kyle’s hand and apologizes for the way she’s been acting lately.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack tells Tucker that whatever is going on between him and Ashley is his business. He asks again where Ashley is.
Tucker says if Jack is planning on making Ashley’s life difficult, Tucker will make Jack’s life hell.
Ashley walks in the front door and says she could hear them shouting from outside.
She asks what they’re fighting about.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria tells Nikki that her glow is probably from the oxygen facial she got yesterday.
Nikki says that she’s got the type of energy that she gets when she goes for the kill and wins.
She asks if Elena storming out of the office was Victoria’s big win.
Victoria tells Nikki that Elena had to get stuff out, and she’s glad that Elena knows about their relationship now, and it feels wonderful to be able to go public with it.
Nikki says that her glow is about Nate then, and Vicky agrees.
The GCAC Restaurant
Summer tells Kyle that she’s sorry for the distance between them.
She says that Kyle’s done nothing but love her, and she’s treated him horribly. She says that her hatred of Diane clouded her emotions.
Kyle says that he felt like the enemy, but he knows that Summer was hurting.
He says that Phyllis is alive, and Summer needs to let go of the hate for Diane.
Summer says that she doesn’t know how to let go… She doesn’t even know where her mom is right now.
She worries that her mom will get arrested if she comes home.
Kyle tells her that they’ll find a way to make sure that doesn’t happen. He kisses her hand.
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker suggests that he and Ashley go for a drink.
Jack says that Ashley is on notice if she’s planning to push him out of Jabot. He rants at her for a bit, threatening that her reputation will be trashed if she proceeds with it.
Ashley says that the only enemy their family has is Diane.
Jack says it’s about Ashley’s anger.
Ashley says that she won’t let their company and their family be Diane’s latest casualty.
Diane walks in and tells Jack, Ashley, and Tucker “This has to stop!”
Audra’s Hotel Room at the GCAC
Nate walks into Audra’s hotel room and says he wanted to meet elsewhere.
Audra tells Nate that it looks like he could use a drink, and he agrees. She pours him one.
Nate says that he ran into Elena at the Newman Enterprise offices.
Audra tells Nate she doesn’t see blood or bruises, so it can’t be that bad.
Nate says Elena quit the podcast and told him and Victoria off.
Audra says it’s over now, he should stop beating himself up.
Nate says he’s just tired of being judged.
Audra asks what’s happening to make him say that he’s being judged.
Nate says that Nick thinks Nate is gunning for his or Victoria’s job.
Audra says Nick read Nate well… She says that Nate has to watch his back.
She says that she was expecting bigger news than “Nick’s nervous”. She says Nick will probably get more suspicious of Nate, and that doesn’t work in their favor.
Nate says that he told Victoria that he was interested in moving up in the company, and Victoria didn’t have a problem with that.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki tells Victoria that she’s worried, but she just wants Victoria to be happy.
Victoria says that she hears enough of that from Victor and that Nate’s disparagers don’t know Nate the way she does. She explains that she and Nate are in sync.
Nikki says that Victoria has had that type of synergy with suitors before.
Victoria gets angry and tells Nikki that she doesn’t need to bring JT or Ashland into the conversation.
Nikki says that she needs to learn to trust Victoria more.
Victoria says she’s being careful and that she wants to move slowly with Nate.
Nikki says that caution and moderation are good things.
Victoria hugs Nikki and thanks her for her support.
The GCAC Restaurant
Summer tells Kyle he’s been so supportive and she doesn’t deserve it.
Kyle shakes his head and says she does deserve it.
Kyle’s phone rings and he says he needs to take the call, it’s from a production line in Argentina. He kisses Summer and goes to take the call.
Daniel walks up to the table and tells Summer that they need to talk about Phyllis.
Summer says she doesn’t want to talk about it right now.
Kyle comes back and says that he ran into Lucy.
Summer says hi to Lucy.
Lucy tells Summer that she’s sorry about “what that creep did to your mom”.

The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Ashley that it’s their home, not a battleground, and she wishes they could all get along.
Ashley says that Diane and Jack should move into the poolhouse.
Jack says that Ashley and Tucker are trying to commandeer the house. He says that he’s been living there in the mansion for years and that Diane is more “family” than Tucker is.
Ashley smirks and says that Tucker’s just as much family as Diane. She tells Jack, “Diane is your fiancee, and Tucker’s mine!”
Jack asks Ashley if this is some type of joke.
Tucker says that they weren’t planning on sharing the news yet.
Ashley says that she didn’t couldn’t wait any longer to tell anyone.
Tucker smirks and tells Jack and Diane that they didn’t want to make a public announcement because people get poisoned at such events.
Jack scoffs and says it’s not right for Tucker to talk like that.
Diane says she can’t believe they’re engaged.
The GCAC Restaurant
Lucy tells Summer it’s hard to believe that Phyllis faked her own death.
Daniel interrupts and says he’s surprised to see Lucy there, he thought she had a nail appointment to go to.
Lucy says that she wanted to ask about Phyllis first.
Daniel asks Kyle to show Lucy where the spa is.
Lucy laughs and says there are signs everywhere to show her where it is.
Kyle says he wants to spend a little time with Lucy, so he’ll take her there.
Lucy and Kyle head out to the spa, leaving Daniel and Summer to talk.
Summer tells Daniel that she can’t believe that he told Lucy about Phyllis.
Daniel says that Summer has to learn to accept that he’s not willing to lie about Phyllis being dead anymore.
Audra’s Hotel Room
Audra tells Nate that she told Victoria that she was after Victoria’s job in the future.
Nate laughs and says that Victoria warned him about Audra.
He says that he told Victoria that he admired Audra’s ambition, but they’re a team now, so they’re in it together or not at all.
Society
Adam is sitting alone at a table talking business on the phone. He finishes the call as Victoria walks up to him.
Victoria asks Adam if he’s dining alone… Again.
Adam says that he gets his best work done while alone.
Victoria tells Adam that Victor told her about Adam’s plans to wipe out Newman Media.
Adam asks if she’s worried.
Victoria says that he should be the one who’s worried. She turns around and walks over to sit at the bar, leaving Adam at his table.
Audra’s Hotel Room
Audra asks what their next move is.
Nate says that Newman Media may be headed for a showdown with Adam Newman, and he wants to be involved.
Society
Adam walks over to the bar and talks with Victoria.
He says that it’s good she’s talked with Victor about McCall, so it should be a fair fight between them.
Victoria says that she talked with Victor about his “ramshackle company”, she’s not worried.
They argue about why Victor bought the company.
Victoria says that Victor bought the company so that Adam would run it into the ground.
She says that McCall Unlimited is a sad, failed, company that should have been sold and looted.
The GCAC Restaurant
Summer tells Daniel she won’t accept what he’s done… He’s ruined everything.
Daniel says that Diane will be free to live her life without Phyllis’s murder hanging over her head.
Summer says it’s not fair.
Daniel asks if it’s fair that they keep the secret and let Diane be on the hook for her murder.
Summer says she’s called Phyllis’s number and left messages multiple times, but hasn’t heard back at all.
She says she’s living in a reality where “everything’s worse.”
Kyle comes back to the table after dropping Lucy off at the spa, and Daniel leaves the table.
Kyle asks Summer when she’s going to cut Daniel a break.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack says Ashley is taking the high ground by marrying Tucker, but “everyone knows who Tucker really is!”
Ashley says that Jack doesn’t know Tucker… She says that she’s seen how Tucker has grown, and how he’s really trying to reconnect with family.
Jack says Tucker is conning Ashley.
Ashley scoffs and says that at least Tucker never faked his death. She tells Tucker that they should leave.
As they’re leaving, Ashley tells Diane to hold onto the bridal magazines that she was looking through… She’s going to need to go through them herself.
Jack asks Diane how they could get to this point… It seems that everything with Ashley is a battle.
He says Ashley is acting irrationally, and he wants to toss her and Tucker out of the house.
Diane says that she doesn’t blame Ashley for her behavior because Ashley thinks that Diane killed Phyllis and doesn’t know that Phyllis is actually alive.
Jack can’t believe it… Is Diane actually defending Ashley?
Chancellor Park
Ashley thanks Tucker for defending her to Jack and Diane.
Tucker says the best part was when Ashley told Jack and Diane that she and Tucker were engaged.
Tucker looks at Ashley curiously. “We are engaged, aren’t we?”
Audra’s Hotel Room
Audra says that she’s Nate’s secret weapon, and she knows everything about McCall, so she’ll be aware of any “back-alley” moves that Adam might make, and she’ll keep Nate updated. She says that she’s anxious to get things moving.
Nate tells Audra that he’s the half of the team that understands patience.
Audra says she’s the “move fast and break things” part of the team.
Nate says it’ll take time to move things along, and he needs to earn Victoria’s respect so that he is prepared to run Newman Enterprises when the time comes.
Audra says that she keeps hearing Nate talk about his plans, but there’s not much talk about Audra’s plans coming from his lips.
The GCAC Restaurant
Summer tells Kyle that Daniel told everyone about Phyllis before he told her, and she feels like she’s the only one who wants to protect Phyllis.
Summer gets up, frantic, and says she has to go.
Kyle is confused and tells Summer that she’s shutting him out again.
Summer’s phone rings and she says she has to take the call.
Kyle asks her what could possibly be more important than their conversation right now.
Society
Adam tells Victoria that he’s always admired her, but he will prove her wrong.
Victoria says she looks forward to the road ahead… And Adam is just a bump in the road.
She says that business needs a calm head, and he’s going to ruin McCall with his hot-headedness.
Adam says he’s prepared for what’s ahead.
Victoria says she almost likes him now, maybe this will be fun!
Adam says, “Let the battle begin!”
The GCAC Restaurant
Summer tells Kyle that the call is work-related. She tries to answer the call, but nobody responds.
Kyle is tired of Summer’s attitude. He says he’s going to the office and leaves Summer alone in the restaurant.
Summer’s phone pings… It’s a text message from an unknown number telling her to meet at an as-of-yet-undetermined location.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Jack that family is important to her, including Ashley. She says they have to do their best to love and protect each other.
She says that one day, maybe they’ll actually be a happy family.
Jack tells Diane that she’s remarkable and that he loves her more every minute. They kiss and hug.
Chancellor Park
Ashley says that Tucker’s idea about telling Jack and Diane about their engagement was a brilliant idea. She says she loved seeing Jack’s jaw drop at the news.
Tucker thanks her but wonders if Ashley is stringing him along.
Ashley says it wouldn’t make sense to string him along… She says that she sees the good in him and asked him to move in and she knows that he can be a good man.
Tucker says Ashley told Jack that she loved Tucker. He asks if Ashley can look him in the eye and tell him that she loves him now they’re alone.
