Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Nick & Adam fought over Sally’s visit, while Audra gained a new appreciation for Kyle.
Crimson Lights
Nick meanders into Crimson Lights, gets himself a coffee and tells Sharon about his trip.
The foreign McCall divisions are on board and excited about the merger with Kirsten Incorporated.
It’s fantastic but he says that Adam’s blackmail to ensure the merger goes through with Newman Media and his dad won’t fire him because of it, due to the financing.
He complains and Sharon says Victor’s reaction is par for the course. She assumes there’s another issue. Nick bitches about Adam manipulating everything.
She doesn’t want to focus on his actions but the bigger picture.
They know his ultimate goal. He wants to build the company into a powerhouse, despite how despicable he went about it.
Nick says it’s about sticking it to Victoria.
She agrees. Nick thinks he’ll burn everything in his way to get what was stolen from him back.
Sharon takes Adam out of things saying that Victor just wants to keep Adam down.
Nick knew working with “this human wrecking ball” would be a mistake but he thinks they’re going to accomplish something great.
He hates being stuck with his brother.
Sharon gives him a pep talk and Nick continues to talk about his brother, not believing the guy can be trusted with business or Sally.
He can see Adam’s trying to rekindle their relationship when she’s worked so hard to get back on her feet after losing their baby.
Sharon says he can’t change how Adam feels and why does it matter since Nick doesn’t believe Sally will get back together with him.
Maybe Nick’s having a hard time letting go of his hatred for his brother. She thinks Sally can handle Adam and asks Nick not to let him get under his skin.
It’ll complicate everything. Nick doesn’t want that but Adam’s everywhere.
He’s tired. Sharon “therapizes” him.
He can only control him so he should stop focusing on what his brother does and focus on himself.
And stop making her think she’s make a mistake in bringing Kirsten Incorporated in this mix. He agrees his brother doesn’t deserve his “bandwidth.”
Society
Sally runs into Adam at Society and tells him today, she’s in a good mood because she’s meeting his father to tell him she’s accepting his job offer.
Adam hopes it’s all she wanted.
She asks if they can discuss whatever it was he brought up before Nick arrived at his place last night.
Adam calls it a moot point. He wanted to get her to work with him at Adustus.
She’s wowed and grateful that he thought of her but he doesn’t know when the merger will even happen. He assumes his days at the company are numbered.
She assumes it’s because he tried to blackmail Audra. He hates that word, calling it extreme.

She knows he was trying to prove himself to his father. He says he’s awake at night thinking about things like this. He is always so close to getting what he wants but doesn’t quite make it.
Sally identifies. She gets worked up about things like that a lot.
They commiserate. She was awake last night wondering want he wanted to talk to her about.
She convinced herself it was about him wanting her back.
He asks if she was disappointed but she doesn’t want to go there. She tells him to do his job and stop making trouble.
Stop picking fights with Nick.
“Nick started it,” he says, prompting her to tell him to stop acting like he’s 5.
Stop creating drama for the adrenaline. He can see she’s not the woman she was at Newman Media. She outgrew the self-destructive behaviors.
He wished that’d rub off on him.
She tells him they can’t work together or be in a relationship together.
He doesn’t get why not but she reminds him he can’t separate his emotions from his work.
She’s protecting them both. She doesn’t like seeing him hurt. He agrees, she’s right about this.
She tells him they’ve gotten through the worst of losing Ava and she’s getting over her anger toward him.
He’s thankful she said so. She takes off to see his father.
Athletic Club Lounge
At the lounge at GCAC, Victoria and Billy dine together. She thought they agreed they’d send the kids back to boarding school.
He likes having them nearby and asks if she just wants them gone so she can focus on work and Nate.
His sister’s not happy that he went there and tells him he never approves of anyone she’s been with.
He reminds her he’s always right and thinks something is really wrong right now.
She apologizes and says he’s right.
Billy wants her to have better than the men she had in the past, him, JT and Ashland.
She admits all things considered, Billy wasn’t that bad.
He jokes about getting points for trying to kill her and faking cancer.
“It’s the little things,” she says but admits something is not quite right.
She asks him not to use this against her or Nate.
He promises not to judge so she tells him a little about what happened with Nate keeping a business secret from her which has her wondering if she can really trust him.
She calls the man ambitious and enjoys being ruthless. He proved that already and would sell Audra out if he was cornered.
Billy wonders if he’d sell out her. She doesn’t believe it.
She thinks he has different goals. He wants to work side-by-side, running an empire with her.
Billy thinks he’s being insincere. He should know. She’s had enough collateral damage to last a lifetime.
Nate arrives at the ranch, surprising Victor. He wants to clear suspicions about his involvement in Audra’s merger plans.
He worries Victor thinks he’s overstepped and if so, how can he make it right?
He talks about screwing up at Chancellor-Williams and how he was loyal to himself before the company.
When this scandal came up with Audra, his sole concern was that it didn’t hurt the company or Victoria.
Audra, too since he found Adam’s blackmail attempt “despicable.”
Victor appreciates the man’s loyalty and says they’re good for now.
He shows Nate financials for Adustus and asks him to give his opinion on that after looking at them.
Victoria’s office at Newman Enterprises
At Victoria’s office, Nate tells Victoria he got back from seeing her father at the ranch, calling it preemptive to discuss how he handled the Audra situation.
He thinks it went well. She’s glad but surprised to hear.
She needs to get back to work after a long chat with Billy about the kids.
Nate thinks sending them away is a good idea and they love it there.
He knows they’ve a great soccer and ballet program.
She didn’t know he listened to her go on about his kids.
He says of course he does, whatever is important to her is important to him.
He worries something between them has shifted.
She doesn’t deny it. Trust is important to her and he knows he betrayed it.
He regrets it. He says it won’t happen again.
She assumes he’s talking about his job but he can’t lose her or their extraordinary personal connection. Their affection and attraction has become more important to him.
He admits he wouldn’t have told her about the stuff happening with Audra until it was over.
He’d then brag to her about what a great job he did getting it done himself.
He wanted to be Victoria’s hero.
He wanted to be worthy of her because he’s falling in love with her. She’s not sure what she’s feeling.
She can’t just shrug off his lies.
They get back to business.
The Newman Ranch
Sally arrives at the ranch to see Victor. She’s in good spirits and he tells her they need to talk.
She tells him she’s decided to accept his job offer to head up the new media division at Newman Enterprises.
He’s sorry to hear that. He tells her to sit and then lets her know there is no media division at Newman because he’s putting his energies into straightening out Adustus.
He’s working on the rivalry between his sons with whom he wants working as a team.
She asks if it’s temporary but he says no, there will never be a division ever.
She finds that a shame since she set aside her Chancellor-Winters account to accept this offer and she can’t go back to them because he found them a company to replace them.
She says she’s sorry but asks if he dangled this in front of her just to yank it away to punish her for getting involved with his sons? He denies it.
It’s business. He tells her to go since he has a conference call and wishes her luck.
Crimson Lights
Back at Crimson Lights, Nick thinks they should change the name of Adustus to SNA Media.
They love it and Nick says maybe Adam will hate it and they’ll get lucky and he’ll quit.
Adam finds the exes together, and they let him know they made some big decisions about the company.
They found the perfect office location. They show him, and they already put in an offer.
It’s theirs. Adam likes it.
They also changed the name of the company to SNA Media.
Nick gives the thumbs-up gesture, and Adam laughs and smirks behind his hand. He likes it.
He admits Adustus was stupid. Nick agrees.
Adam doesn’t want to go to battle anymore or ruin what they’re building. It’s all he has left.

Have watched the show almost from the start. 😍
Y&at need new writers as they always let Victoria and Nick win. Am tired of the writers always making Adam the bad guy and never giving him a break. Also, it feels like Victor favors his kids from Nicki more and am tired of the same old same old, Victor always getting his way. Can’t stand any of the characters only watch the show because of Adam, Ashley, Tucker, and Chance. All the other characters cannot stand and fast forward thru their parts. Hope Audra gets what’s coming to her as well as Kyle and Diane but it seems the writers favor them. They need to watch the Mexican novellas to get a glimpse of real writing and true revenge. Don’t like the direction soap is going especially the treatment of Adam character so will stop watching for a while as am sure if I come back to it , it will be the same with Victor, Victoria, Nick and Nicki always winning and getting their way.

I would just love to see Adam & Sally back together again. I just love them both and they brought together a beautiful love connection that we need to see more of in this crazy “dog eat dog” world that we’re living in.
How is it that Nate is now falling in love with Victoria? Just last week, he told Nikki he didn’t love Victoria.
I didn’t like Victor giving Sally the shaft today. I’m so sick of Nick always berating Adam. Who can trust & depend on Nick?
