Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Sally & Adam relived memories together after Victor threatened to fire Adam, while Nate came clean to Victoria.
Adam’s Apartment
Sally tells Adam she’s surprised he still has photos of them together. She says it’s unhealthy to hold onto the past, and they have to move on.
Adam says he kept those pictures to remind him of when he was happy, and Sally went snooping and found the pictures. He never planned for her to find them.
Sally says Adam needs to find someone to love him the way he wants to be loved.
Nick bangs at the door, calling out for Adam.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle and Audra lie in bed, cuddling.
Kyle asks Audra to call him a genius again… He liked the sound of that.
Audra says that going to Victor and exposing Adam’s blackmail was a stroke of genius.
Kyle says he wishes he was there to see the look on Adam’s face.
The Newman Ranch House
Victoria gives Nikki and Victor a hug and welcomes her father back home.
Victor says he had a good trip, but Adam has crossed a line.
Nikki asks if they need to talk about this… She’s almost gotten Victor calmed down.
Victor tells Nikki that Victoria needs to know. He says that Adam found some incriminating emails about Audra on McCall’s servers and used that information to blackmail her.
Victoria figures that Adam was using it to force Audra to get the Newman Media merger on track.
Victor says he was, but it’s been handled now, and the evidence will never see the light of day.
Nikki says that Audra had the good sense to come clean.
Victoria asks if Adam has been given the smackdown he deserves… He’s gone too far.
Victor says that Nick agrees with Victoria, and they’ve all reached their limits with Adam’s behavior.
Nikki says Adam’s behavior can’t continue. It’s time it stopped.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam opens the door to Nick.
Nick walks in and asks Adam if he’s out of his mind. He says their dad told him what Adam was up to with Audra and Newman Media.
Nick notices Sally in the room and asks why she’s there.
Sally says she came to see Adam and thought Nick would be home tomorrow.
Nick says he came home early and noticed Sally wasn’t in her room, and then he went to see Victor, who filled him in on what Adam is up to now.
Adam says he’s not in the mood… Can they do it tomorrow when Nick calms down?
Nick says he’s not going to calm down; everything was going great, and he’s not going to let Adam screw anything up for Sharon.
Sally asks what’s going on.
Adam says it’s nothing worth talking about.
Nick tells Sally about Adam’s blackmail of Audra.
Sally asks Adam if it’s true.
Adam says that calling it blackmail would be an exaggeration. He “presented an opportunity” and made a valid case.
Nick says Adam crossed a line.
Adam says it would have been a coup and strictly business if it had worked. He says Victor would have done the same thing.
Nick tells Adam that what he did was reckless. It’s not the right way to handle things.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle tells Audra that Adam had the right idea about merging the two companies… It makes sense to have a more successful company.
Audra says that it only makes sense if Adam wasn’t involved.
Kyle agrees. He wonders if there’s a way to do it without Adam.
Audra says there’s not. Victor, Nikki, and Victoria are all against it. Thanks to Kyle, she says that Victor might be starting to like her.
Kyle says Audra needs to get Nikki and Victoria on her side at some point.
Audra says that’s going to be tough.
Kyle says it’s all in the method.
Audra smiles wickedly and says she likes Kyle’s method… Why doesn’t he show her again?
Kyle smiles, and they kiss passionately.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor tells Victoria he’s given Adam one more chance to prove himself.
Victoria can’t believe it.
Nikki says that Victor knows how she feels about it too.
Victoria says that Adam will continue to defy Victor.
Victor says that he just secured a lot of money for Adustus, and Adam needs to stay in the company, or they risk losing the financiers.
Victoria says that Adustus has two other people running the company; they don’t need Adam.
Nikki says she’s looking out for the company and was concerned when Nate approached her about the merger.
Victoria says that Nate thought the merger was a good idea financially, and Victoria would have considered it if Adam wasn’t involved.
Nikki says that Nate can be manipulated, and Victoria should be worried that Nate brings a risk to the company.
Victoria says Nate backed off when she told him she wasn’t interested.
Nikki asks Victoria if she really thinks she can trust Nate.
Victoria says she can… She believes he’ll do what’s best for Newman Enterprises. He wanted to protect the company’s reputation.
Victor says Nate should have come to him first like Audra did. He says that loyalty is very important to him.
Victoria says Audra only came to Victor because she was out of options. She brings up the reason that Adam was able to blackmail Audra in the first place.
Victor says that they can put that aside. It’s been put to rest.
Victoria tells Victor that he trusts Audra but doesn’t trust Nate.
Nikki says she can’t trust either one of them.
Victoria says that Nate wasn’t involved in the McCall coverup, it was Audra, and she was Tucker’s “fixer.” She says they can’t forget what Audra tried to do to Devon’s company on Tucker’s behalf and wonders what else they think Audra is capable of.
Victor asks if Victoria wants them to replace Audra.
Victoria says that it’s not a bad idea.
Nikki says that Victoria is still protective of Nate in spite of what he did to Devon and Lily.
Victoria says Nate told her about the Audra situation right away.
Nikki says that Nate made a pitch to her first to go along with Adam’s idea.
Victoria gets up, flustered, and says that Nate’s only crimes are friendship and ambition. Audra seems more comfortable with betrayal and duplicity, just like Adam is.
Victor asks if Victoria wants them to get rid of Adam and fire Audra.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Nate sits at the bar alone, having a drink.
He recalls a conversation he had with Audra where she told him that he belongs beside Victoria because she’s Victor’s golden child.
Audra told Nate that he should solidify his relationship with Victoria and take it to the next level.
Tucker walks into the restaurant and interrupts Nate’s reverie. He takes a seat beside Nate at the bar and says hello.
Nate says he heard rumors about a wedding. He congratulates Tucker, saying that Ashley is quite the woman.
Tucker says he’s the luckiest of men. He orders a scotch, neat.
Nate asks Tucker what brings him to the bar alone on his wedding night… No honeymoon?
Tucker says there’s too much to do in town, personally and professionally.
Nate asks if Tucker is interested in getting back to the business world after selling McCall.
Tucker says he is, and with Ashley as his partner, they can’t lose.
Nate asks if Tucker’s spoken with Audra… It seems they’ve both dodged a career-killing bullet.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra asks Kyle if he thinks she can win over Nikki as well.
Kyle says Audra has a secret weapon… Nikki has always liked him.
Audra wonders if Nikki likes Kyle more than her own granddaughter, Summer. She says if Kyle’s right, and they have Nikki and Victor on their side and Victoria is distracted by Nate, the sky is the limit for them at Newman Media.
Audra talks about the power they can hold… Media can control the masses!
Kyle says she doesn’t think small.
Audra says that winners never do.
They kiss again.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam tells Nick that someone has to do the dirty work in business.
Nick disagrees.
Adam scoffs and tells Nick to tell that to their father. He says that merging the company is a good idea, and everyone knows it, but Victor wants to put Adam “in his place,” and Victoria won’t go along with it because she’s threatened by him.
Nick says that Victoria hates Adam; she’s not threatened by him.
Sally asks what exactly Adam did with Audra.
Adam says that he had an agreement with Audra. He says that he had some incriminating evidence that he agreed to destroy as a favor to Audra.
Sally asks what Adam wanted in exchange.
Adam explains that he asked Audra to use her influence on Victoria and Victor so they would take the merger seriously.
Nick says that Adam’s leaving out the fact that Audra felt trapped and went to Victor and confessed everything. He says that’s not how people exchange favors.
Adam says he had to try; Newman Media used to be his.
Sally says it’s not his anymore; why would he resort to blackmail to get it back?
Adam says it was a calculated business move, just like Victor has made over the years to accomplish his goals. The end justifies the means.
Sally says that’s not true. She can’t be there anymore. She tells Nick she’ll meet him back at the GCAC.
Before she leaves, Nick asks what Sally was doing there in the first place.
Sally says she’ll explain it all to him later. She leaves.
Adam thanks Nick for messing up his life.

The GCAC
Tucker asks Nate what bullet he and Audra dodged.
Nate mentions the singer, the coverup, and the blackmail by Adam.
Tucker says that sounds familiar.
Nate says it’s always a good idea to clear out the email spam folder.
Tucker laughs and thanks Nate for the advice. He says that he’s relieved if Nate figures they dodged a bullet.
Nate says that Tucker can thank Audra for it.
Tucker is surprised that Nate and Audra are so close.
Nate says they share a lot of the same interests.
Tucker asks if Nate shares a lot of interests with Victoria too.
Nate says that Victoria is an honored colleague, and he’s happy to work with her.
Tucker laughs. He gives Nate a word of advice about Audra: She’s self-centered and vicious. She’ll do whatever it takes to get what she wants, and Nate won’t see it coming.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra and Kyle sit on the couch, talking in their robes.
Kyle says that Audra loves the game.
Audra says in business, pleasure, and life, it’s not just about power and money… It’s about the rush.
She kisses Kyle’s neck.
Kyle says she needs to keep things grounded to temper her ambition.
Audra says she trained under Tucker and wants to enjoy herself. Kyle strikes her as a guy who hasn’t had much fun lately.
Kyle laughs and says it’s been a few minutes since they had fun.
They kiss again.
Audra says she thinks they’re reaching the point where spending the night together sounds appealing.
Kyle smiles at her.
There’s a knock at the door. Tucker calls out.
Audra sighs.
The Newman Ranch House
Victoria tells Nikki and Victor that Audra did what was necessary, and they can probably trust her, but if Victor keeps rewarding Adam, he’ll think he’s untouchable.
Victor tells Victoria not to worry about Adam… He got the message and will fall in line now.
Victoria says that Adam is driven by his ego and keeps trying to prove he’s superior to her, to Nick, and to Victor himself.
Nikki says she knows how Victoria feels, but they need to keep Adam in place because of the money that Victor raised.
Victoria says they can find some other money. It’s time to cut Adam off at the knees; they’ve given him enough chances.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam tells Nick that they see the world through different lenses.
Nick says there’s a right way and a wrong way to see things.
Adam says he knows… Nick’s way is always right.
Nick says it’s not that simple… Their dad is furious and fed up with Adam, and he’s going to cut Adam loose.
Adam says if Victor wants to fire him, that’s his right; Adam will continue to do what he thinks is right and doesn’t care what Nick thinks about it.
Nick gestures to the delivery food that’s on the table. He says that it’s another example of Adam’s skewed thinking. Sally isn’t with Adam anymore, she’s with Nick, and Adam has to respect that.
Adam says that Sally ordered the food, set the table, and unpacked boxes for him. He says that Sally thinks she loves Nick, but soon she’s going to remember that Adam loves her more than Nick ever will.
Nick calls Adam delusional and selfish. He says Sally doesn’t want Adam anymore, and Adam needs to move on.
Adam says that Nick will never put Sally first.
Nick says that Adam keeps bringing up the night with Cameron. Sally understands, but Adam can’t get it through his head.
Adam says he doesn’t owe Nick anything… He respects Sally’s opinion but not Nick’s. He’s fine to work with Nick because it’s what Sharon and Victor want, but personally, he doesn’t care what Nick thinks or feels.
Nick says Adam is too focused on his loss of Sally and Newman Media. He says Adam has nothing and no one, and he has nobody to blame but himself.
Adam tells Nick to get out. Sally is waiting for him, and he shouldn’t disappoint her.
Nick says he won’t let this slide. He leaves.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra opens the door to Tucker, who looks in and sees Kyle half-dressed in Audra’s suite.
Tucker grins and says Audra has some “Kyle Abbott action” going.
Kyle greets him. “Uncle Tucker!”
Tucker laughs and asks if they’re hard at work.
Audra says she never expected to see Tucker. She asks why he’s not with his new bride… Did the wedding get called off at the last minute?
Tucker says they went ahead with it, and his new bride is sleeping peacefully in their suite. He says they had a lovely ceremony, isn’t that right, Kyle?
Kyle says what he saw wasn’t very festive or romantic.
Tucker says that Kyle got there late. He says he’d like to talk to Audra alone.
Audra says that if it’s about the McCall issue, Kyle knows about it, and the threat has been neutralized.
Tucker says he needs more than Audra’s say-so.
Kyle says that Audra’s word should be enough.
Tucker asks Kyle why he’s piping up… He’s talking to Audra.
Audra says Tucker can talk to Adam about it to find out more.
The GCAC
Victoria meets Nate in the restaurant.
Nate asks Victoria how things went with her parents.
Victoria tells him it was eye-opening. Audra sought out Victor’s help, and it’s all been resolved.
Nate says it’s good to hear.
Victoria says she had a very interesting conversation with her mother. Her phone pings before she can say more, and she says she should respond; it’s probably her children asking her something.
Nate says that children always remind them of their priorities.
Victoria doesn’t answer; she’s busy typing on her phone.
Nate asks if everything’s ok.
Victoria says she’s troubled; his involvement with Audra caught her off guard. She asks why he didn’t come to her first.
Nate apologizes and says he should have been more transparent from the start.
Victoria says that no matter how difficult it is, they must be open with each other to have a successful business and personal relationship.
Nate agrees and doesn’t want to hurt Victoria or make her feel she can’t trust him. From now on, no more secrets.
They sit down at the bar. Nate says Nikki still doubts him, but he wants to prove himself and be beside Victoria.
Victoria says she believes in Nate’s potential. It’s not just about the job for her, either… It’s about the connection they have.
Nate says he believed keeping the McCall scandal quiet was the right thing to do, but he’s learned from his mistakes and would do anything for Victoria.
Victoria takes his hands and smiles.
The Newman Ranch House
Nikki tells Victor that she agrees with Victoria… Victor has given Adam countless chances, and he continues to disappoint.
Victor says Nikki has to trust that he knows when it’s time for it to end.
Nikki says it’s hard for her to stand by and watch Adam hurt Victor.
Victor says he’s given Adam a lot of opportunities… More than he’s given to any of his other children. He says Adam’s past has damaged him, and maybe it’s time to hold him accountable.
Nikki says that Adam never learns… How much longer are they going to let him create havoc in their family? They’re stronger if they stand united.
Victor says she’s right. Maybe it’s time to reassess his relationship with Adam.
Sally’s GCAC Suite
Nick tells Sally that he’s sorry that Adam overshadowed their reunion. He says he didn’t call Sally when he got back from his trip because he wanted to surprise her.
Sally says she surprised Nick instead. She says she wants to explain why she was at Adam’s.
Nick thinks Adam tricked her into seeing him.
Sally says it’s not how Nick thinks… There’s been a change in her relationship with Adam, and she’s gotten to a point where she can forgive him. She brought him a housewarming gift as a gesture of goodwill.
Nick nods. He says he’s happy for her, but reaching out to Adam never goes how anyone wants it to.
Sally says that when she arrived at Adam’s, he got a phone call from Victor, and Adam asked her to stay and order dinner, and he wanted to talk to her about something important. When Adam returned from the ranch, he was really upset.
Nick asks what Adam wanted to talk about.
Sally says she doesn’t know… When Nick showed up, things got complicated.
Nick says he didn’t mean to complicate matters. He says they should forget about Adam, and they can start over again by pretending Nick just got home from his trip… They can make up for lost time.
Sally says, “Welcome home!” and kisses Nick.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Kyle and Audra are sitting at the bar. They clink their wine glasses in a toast.
Adam walks in and says that Audra must be celebrating since she weaseled her way out of a compromising position.
Audra says that she has nothing to say to Adam.
Adam says he’s unsure if she’s a genius or a total coward.
Audra says that Adam underestimated her.
Adam says Audra doesn’t know that he won’t release the damning information.
Kyle gets up and gets in Adam’s face, saying that he doubts Adam wants to make Victor or Kyle angry.
Adam says he’s not impressed by Kyle… Is that the best he has?
The GCAC
Nate tells Victoria that an apology may not be enough to make things right, but he hopes she can forgive him.
Victoria says he’s saying all the right things.
Nate says they should continue the conversation upstairs.
Victoria thinks that sounds enticing, but Johnny and Katie are waiting for her; they’ll talk tomorrow.
Nate kisses Victoria on the cheek and says goodnight. He leaves the club.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Adam says that he and his father have reached an understanding.
Audra smiles and says she’s sure he did.
Adam wants to clarify something with Audra and her “little puppy dog.” He will regain control of Newman Media one way or another. It was his once, and it should be his again.
Audra asks if he’ll gain control even if he has to burn the world down.
Adam says whatever it takes. He says he’s going to get a drink somewhere else.
Kyle says that’s a good idea.
Adam tells them to enjoy their evening and leaves the lounge.
Kyle says that Adam probably will burn it all down… Adam doesn’t hold back when he wants something; if an innocent bystander gets hurt, it won’t bother him.
Audra says she’s heard about Adam’s self-destruction… Maybe she’ll be able to see it for herself.
Sally’s GCAC Suite
Nick kisses Sally and asks if she missed him.
Sally laughs and asks if he can’t tell by her actions.
She kisses him, and they start undressing each other.

PUT SALLY BACK WITH ADAM AND NICK WITH SHARON! GET AUDRA AND NATE EXPOSED ASAP! GIVE ADAM A BREAK.
Love the show. However, some story lines drag out and it gets boring.
I thought Diane and Kyle were leaving the show WHEN? They’ve been on too long.
Victor needs to stop dogging Adam and put Nikki in her place and Victoria man crazy self.Nick is not Sally choice she love Adam.
I could not watch this for a year, come back and the storyline is the same. Audra, Kyle & TV mom and Nate disappear. Victoria is to self-righteous. Do something new Y&R Sally and Adam kick butt in business and personal. Nick really wants your brother’s girl #nastyman get your own girl. Victor and Nikki you own the show,
So tired of Adam never winning. Victoria wants to rule just like Adam does. Adam was right, as long as it is NOT HIS idea and he is not CEO, everyone agrees that a media merger is a good idea.
And will someone please have Nate get rid of that part in his hair.
