Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Tucker and Ashley got married, and Jack gave Ashley a wedding gift she won’t forget.
The Newman Ranch House
Audra tells Victor and Nikki the reason she was pushing so hard for a merger between the companies was because Adam had asked her to.
Nikki asks what Adam is holding over Audra’s head.
Audra says Adam has evidence of the cover-up she had done for Tucker at McCall. She says that Adam will expose what he has on her unless she gets Victor and Nikki to agree to the merger. She says it could destroy her.
Nikki nods sagely. “There it is.” She says since Audra’s finally laying all her cards on the table, she should tell them how Nate fits into it.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Victoria asks Nate if he’s spoken with Audra lately.
Nate says it’s been a few hours… Why?
Victoria relates that Audra had met with Nikki and pitched the same idea that Nate had… To merge the two companies. She says it’s quite a coincidence.
Nate doesn’t have much to say about it.
Victoria says she knows Audra wouldn’t give up her position at Newman Media. She asks what Nate and Audra are up to.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam gets a call from his father. He asks if his trip was productive.
Victor tells him they’ll discuss it when they meet at the ranch. He wants to see him immediately.
Adam sighs and gets his keys. As he opens the door to leave, he sees Sally there, poised to knock.
Sally is there to give him a housewarming gift.
The Chancellor Mansion
Ashley asks what the gift Jack gave her is all about… No strings attached?
Jack says it’s a wedding gift… He’s giving her everything she wanted, including all the assets from the company she built in Paris and a buyout of her interest in Jabot. The only things she won’t get are Jabot’s patents, but the ones she developed are hers to keep.
Ashley says that’s it then… She’ll separate from Jabot, and that’ll be the end of it?
Jack asks her if she’s changing her mind, and if so… Why?
Abby says that appetizers are waiting in the kitchen.
Ashley tells Abby to wait a minute on the food. She tells Jack that his attitude has changed… A few weeks ago, he offered her the company and the patents, then he withdrew his offer, and now he’s giving it back again on her wedding day?
Jack says this is a generous offer on his part and a genuine effort to end the war between them.
Tucker quickly jumps in and shakes Jack’s hand, thanking him.
Ashley asks Tucker what he’s doing.
Tucker says he’s accepting the deal before Jack snatches it away so they can go back to enjoying their wedding, and the sooner they can get this Jabot crap out of the way, the sooner they can enjoy the day.
Kyle shakes his head at Tucker’s outburst and leaves the room, and Diane follows him out.
Kyle tells her that he’s leaving.
Diane asks him to stay… He only just got there, and it’s family.
Kyle says he’s sorry he even came to the wedding. He interrupted a wonderful night with Audra to attend this mess.
Diane says Kyle’s in pain, but he’s trying to drown it in a meaningless affair. He’s going to regret this.
Kyle leaves.
The GCAC
Nate tells Victoria that he spoke with Audra about merging the two companies. He says Audra must have caught his excitement and decided she could get a better position in the company during a merger if she spoke to Nikki.
Victoria says that Audra’s smarter than that. She thinks that there’s something that Nate’s not telling her.
Adam’s Apartment
Sally looks around Adam’s apartment and says it’s very nice. She says down-to-earth suits him, and she means that as a compliment.
Adam thanks Sally and asks if she’s heard from Nick.
Sally says Nick is flying back first thing in the morning.
Adam says he’s sure Sally and Nick are looking forward to seeing each other again.
Sally nods non-committedly.
Adam says he’s been summoned to the ranch to see Victor.
Sally says she’ll join Adam… She’d like to tell Victor face-to-face that she’s accepting his offer to head up his new design company.
Adam says she should hold off and do that later… He can tell that Victor’s not in a great mood.
Sally says she’ll give Victor good news and soften him up for Adam.
Adam tells Sally to wait at his apartment, she can order some food delivery and relax. He says she’s probably sick of the GCAC’s room service menu.
Sally says she can’t argue with that.
Adam says there’s something he wants to talk about when he gets back. He leaves.
The Newman Ranch House
Audra explains that Adam has her and Nate backed into a corner, and Nate’s not to blame. She says that Nate was only trying to help her get out of her bad situation, and that’s why he claimed the merger idea was his.
Audra says she should have come to Nikki and Victor and let them know what was going on right away. She loves her position at Newman Media and doesn’t take the opportunity they’ve given her for granted… She’s there for advice.
The GCAC
Nate says Victoria’s right; he owes her the truth. Nate says that Adam is blackmailing Audra about something she did to keep Tucker out of trouble, and Adam wants Audra to make the Newman Media merger happen.
Victoria laughs. “Of course.”
Nate explains that Adam would go public with the scandal if Audra didn’t make the merger happen, which would reflect badly on Newman Media since Audra is the CEO.
Nate tells Victoria that he dropped the issue since she didn’t think it was the right move.
Victoria says that it doesn’t surprise her… It’s classic Adam. She asks how serious the situation with Audra is.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor says that Audra has to tell him everything, then he’ll decide whether to help her.
Audra agrees. She tells Victor and Nikki about the entertainer and the underaged girls and how the PR department sat on the information until the tour was over because it was making so much money.
Audra explains that Tucker was off on a sabbatical at the time, and when he returned, he fired the PR department involved in the cover-up.
Nikki asks what the problem is.
Audra says Tucker put her in charge of erasing the coverup.
Nikki asks how Adam got involved.
Audra relates how she sent emails to Tucker from an anonymous email address, but they landed in his spam folder, so he never saw them.
Victor and Nikki put two and two together… Adam found the emails and is using them to his advantage.
Audra says that Adam wants her to push the merger, and if she isn’t successful, then he’ll expose her.
Audra explains that she didn’t know what to do, but she trusts Nate, so she told him everything, and he offered to get Victoria to understand that the merger was a good idea.
Nikki says that Audra then pitched the idea to her.
Audra says Nikki is the one person on earth who could convince Victor. She says she’s sorry for deceiving them. She was frightened and trapped and didn’t think things through, and if they let her survive at Newman, nothing like it will ever happen again.
Adam walks into the room and says he’s sorry he’s late, he got held up. He sees Audra sitting there with Victor and Nikki.
Victor asks Adam if he really thought he was going to get away with this.
The Chancellor Mansion
Jack tells Ashley that they’d come to an agreement to end the war. He asks what more he needs to do since he’s given her what she asked for.
Ashley says he’s right… She hasn’t handled it well. She apologizes to him and to everyone else there. She says she appreciates the wedding gift and is thankful that Jack and Diane came to the wedding.
Diane says they appreciate the invitation. She congratulates Ashley on her new life and her new business. She says that she and Jack are relieved Ashley doesn’t have to worry about Jabot and her father’s company will be in good hands.
Billy laughs and asks if Diane’s kidding. He tells Ashley to take the offer because with Diane involved, the company will fall to pieces.
Jack asks what’s wrong with Billy. Can’t he go five minutes without making a snide remark?
Billy and Jack snipe at each other.
Tucker tells Jack and Billy both to shut up, it’s supposed to be a happy evening for him and Ashley, and he won’t let them ruin it.
Devon pipes up and says that Tucker’s right… It’s not the time for fighting.
Traci says they promised a truce tonight, and she was a fool to think they’d abide by the agreement.
Jack says he thinks it’s time for him and Diane to leave. He asks Ashley to enjoy and trust the wedding gift.
Abby tells Jack he doesn’t have to leave, but Jack insists.
Jack says he had no idea his wedding gift would backfire the way it did.
Jack and Diane leave.
Ashley laughs and says they sure know how to throw a party.
Tucker says it’s the wedding of the century.
Ashley asks Billy if what Jack said bothered him.
Billy says he’s fine. He’s got thick skin. He congratulates Tucker and Ashley again and says his goodbyes. He leaves with Chelsea.
Ashley and Tucker go to get some cake with Traci in tow.
Abby tells Devon she didn’t expect the night to go that way.
Devon says that with the guestlist they had, they should have expected something like that to happen.

The Newman Ranch House
Adam tells Audra that he assumes she told Nikki and Victor what’s happening.
Audra says she did… She told them everything.
Adam says he saw an opportunity and took it. He’s not sorry, but he’s a bit disappointed in Audra… He didn’t think she was a coward.
Audra asks what other choice she left him. She says he wanted her to go along with a plan that would have cost her the position at Newman Media, so she had to look for alternatives.
Adam says Audra will never know what he was going to offer her.
Victor tells Adam to shut up and listen to him.
Adam’s Apartment
Sally looks around Adam’s apartment and gets a bottle of water.
Sally looks through some boxes and finds a few books.
One of the books has some photos tucked inside. She takes a look. It’s pictures of her and Adam together.
Sally sighs as she sees the pictures.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor tells Audra he appreciates that she came forward and told him and Nikki everything, and he admires the fact that she managed to get out from Adam’s grip.
Audra hopes that her hesitation didn’t hurt her position at Newman Media.
Victor says it won’t. He wants to talk to Adam alone.
Audra thanks them for their time. She gives Adam a glare as she leaves the room. In the foyer, she sends Kyle a text message. “My room. Twenty minutes.” She leaves the house.
Victor asks Adam how he could dare to go behind his back… Blackmail?
Adam says that Victor made his fortune by doing the same kind of thing, probably more than he can count.
Victor says he’s constantly defying him. He’s given him multiple opportunities.
Adam says that he hired Nick to watch over him and to make sure he plays well with others.
Victor says Adam needs someone to look over him.
Adam says he doesn’t.
Victor says that Adam must really hate him to try to go behind his back like this.
Nikki says she’d begged Victor to stop hoping that Adam would change, because she doesn’t believe he can, and Adam’s only proving her right.
Victor says that the McCall “disaster” can’t go public, so any evidence that Adam has against Audra has to be eliminated.
Adam asks if there’s anything else.
Victor says there is. Adam’s constant defiance is getting on his nerves, and he can’t do it anymore.
Adam says that Victor doesn’t need to do anything anymore. He stands up in frustration.
Victor tells Adam that he should fire him for this, but he won’t… He can’t. He just got financing from Europe for Adam’s company. He’s not going to lose the investors for Adam. He tells Adam he’s hanging by a thread.
Adam leaves, looking chastened.
The GCAC
Nate says that Victoria shouldn’t be too harsh on Audra; she was scared that Victoria would find out what she did for Tucker in the past.
Victoria says she understands, but covering up a crime is another matter.
Nate says that Audra didn’t cover up a crime; she covered up the actions of the PR team.
Victoria says that Audra was keeping McCall safe.
Nate says the real problem is Adam trying to get ahold of Newman Media.
Victoria reminds Nate that they had talked about sabotaging McCall in the past, but that was before Victor brought it under the Newman umbrella.
Nate says the whole problem is Adam. It’s time to push him off the cliff.
The Newman Ranch House
Nikki asks Victor how long he will put up with Adam’s behavior.
Victor says he thinks he got through to Adam.
Nikki says there’s no such thing as getting through to Adam.
Victor says time will tell.
Nikki says it breaks her heart to see Victor so angry because she knows how hurt he is. She knows that Victor wants to hear Adam thank him, but he’ll never hear it because enough is never enough with Adam.
Victor sighs and hugs Nikki.
Adam’s Apartment
Sally opens a bag of delivery and puts the food boxes on the table.
Adam enters the apartment. He smiles when he sees Sally. He’s surprised she stayed.
Sally laughs and says he asked her to.
The GCAC
Audra walks into the lobby and sees Nate and Victoria.
Victoria says hello and says Audra seems pleased.
Audra says she is… Thanks to a friend’s advice, she dodged a bullet.
Victoria thinks that’s interesting. She’d love to hear more first thing in the morning. She says they have several things to discuss.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack raises his glass in a toast with Diane. “To us, for surviving an evening we were both dreading.”
As they clink their glasses, Traci enters the front door.
Jack tells Diane that he hated watching Ashley marry “that jackass,” and he’s shocked at her reluctance to accept his generous gift.
Traci slams the door and asks Jack if that’s what shocked him… Really? Ashley had every right to act the way she did!
The GCAC
Nate tells Audra that he told Victoria what was going on… He’s done keeping secrets.
Audra smiles and says she’s glad… She just came clean with Victor and Nikki. She tells Victoria that the threat to Newman Media has been neutralized, and so has Adam… He no longer has any power over her, thanks to Victor.
Adam’s Apartment
Sally figures things didn’t go well with Adam’s meeting with his father.
Adam says it’s not worth talking about. He’s impressed that Sally unpacked some of his boxes. He thanks her.
Sally says she was bored and glad she did stay because she found the pictures of them together. She can’t believe Adam still has them.
Adam says he wanted to remind himself that he was happy at one point and didn’t want to forget what that felt like.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra enters her room, looking happy. A moment later, there’s a knock at the door. It’s Kyle.
Kyle asks how things went.
Audra laughs and holds Kyle closely. She tells him that he’s a genius.
Kyle answers with a kiss.
Crimson Lights
Chelsea and Billy sit at a table in the cafe and talk.
Billy tells Chelsea he’s sorry the night turned out the way it did. He didn’t mean for Chelsea to be exposed to the “Abbott Family Meltdown.”
Chelsea says that’s not what upset her the most. She says that she hasn’t seen Billy act the way he had for years, and it made her shudder.
Billy says that if Chelsea bought his act, Ashley and Tucker hopefully did too. He takes her hand and says it was just an act.
They hug.
The Abbott Mansion
Traci asks why Ashley wouldn’t be reluctant to accept Jack’s generous offer… She doesn’t trust Jack or Diane, and why would she?
Jack and Diane both say that Ashley wanted it, and Jack truly thought she’d be pleased.
Traci says they’ve got Billy wrapped up in their agenda… She can’t overlook that. She asks what they’re up to and says that whatever it is, they will rip the family apart again.
Ashley and Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker pours a couple of glasses of champagne and tells Ashley he can’t believe they actually did it… He’s the happiest man on earth.
He raises his glass and toasts to “the most exquisite woman on earth.”
Ashley says he’s the most… She can’t think of the rest.
Tucker says he is the most. He tells Ashley he loves her and asks her to dance since they never had a “first dance.”
Ashley says she can’t believe she’s saying it, but she loves him too.
They sway together, and the music swells.

Love this show. Have watched since 1973..I wish there weren’t as many commercials.
No matter what fans think Sally will always be in Adam life or have a piece in Adam heart whether they like that or not they just need to accept the facts
I love Tucker and Ashley together.
It would be wonderful if Adam could findly get his break, have the girl back of his dreams, Sally. Live happily ever after ❤ Root for the underdog..
