Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Summer & Daniel told Phyllis they’re done with her, while Nikki shut Nate down after she met with Audra.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Audra walks into the restaurant and says hello to Tucker and Devon, who are sitting at the bar together.
Devon’s phone rings. It’s Abby, and he excuses himself for a minute.
Audra tells Tucker she’s heard he’s getting married today… Congratulations!
Tucker thanks her and says he’s hoping she stopped by to give him the “special wedding gift” they’d discussed.
Audra says that the shipment is on the way, but it’s a bit delayed.
Tucker says that’s not what he wanted to hear.
Audra says it’ll arrive in due time… She’s working on it.
Tucker says that time isn’t his friend.
Audra tells him she won’t let him down.
Tucker says he won’t let anything or anyone spoil this special day.
Audra tells Tucker, “Good luck!” and leaves the restaurant.
Tucker sends Ashley a text message. “Counting the minutes and my lucky stars.”
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Audra walks down the stairs into the lounge. She sees Kyle sitting there and asks him why he’s there… She thought he took the afternoon off for his aunt’s wedding.
Kyle says he did take the afternoon off, but then he remembered that he never really liked the circus and doesn’t like the idea of Ashley marrying Tucker.
Audra sits down and asks to join him.
Kyle says he was hoping she would. He sees the look on her face and asks if there’s something wrong.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane and Jack are getting ready to attend Ashley and Tucker’s wedding.
Diane is surprised that Jack agreed to go to the wedding.
Jack says it’s all part of the game. They don’t know what Ashley and Tucker will do with their new company and how it’ll affect Jabot.
Diane wonders if Ashley might be sincere about letting Jack buy her out and walking away from Jabot.
Jack says there’s not a chance in hell that Ashley is sincere. He says Tucker is behind it all, so they must pretend everything is fine.
The Chancellor Estate
Traci is arranging flowers for the wedding when Abby walks into the room.
Abby thanks Traci for helping out with the wedding.
Traci says this is the start of Ashley and Tucker’s new life, and she’s doing all she can.
Ashley walks into the house, and Traci gives her a hug and a peck on the cheek and asks Ashley if she’s ready for her big day.
Ashley says she’s as ready as she can be.
Traci says she looks a little nervous, but it’s common to have butterflies. She leaves for home to get dressed for the wedding.
Abby tells her mom that Traci was right… She does look a little nervous.
Ashley says it’s silly, but she is, and it’s not even her first wedding.
Abby says that Ashley must be excited or she’s terrified… She doesn’t have to go through with the wedding if she’s not ready.
Ashley says she’s marrying Tucker because they’re in love.
Abby is worried that Tucker will break her mom’s heart.
Ashley says she’ll kill Tucker before she lets that happen.
Abby laughs and says, “Not if I get to him first!”
The GCAC
Victor sits at the bar with Tucker and Devon. He jokes that Tucker has his “greedy hands” on Ashley again.
Tucker says that Victor needs to give Ashley some credit… She knows who she loves and wants.
Victor says that Tucker isn’t fooling anyone… He’s a third-rate con artist, and Ashley is the one that’s taking him for a ride. She’s going through with this sham wedding to get back at Jack and Diane!
Tucker just smiles.
The Neil Winter Jazz Lounge
Audra tells Kyle that there’s nothing to say… It’s been a long and difficult day.
Kyle presses Audra to tell him what’s bothering her.
Audra tells him that it’s something that happened a long time ago and she’s working to get it resolved, and there are things about her that she doesn’t want Kyle to know.
Kyle says they both have semi-sketchy pasts, and he’s not there to judge her.
Audra says it’d be nice to have someone to talk to about it, but knowledge is power, and she’s not sure she’s ready to give Kyle that kind of hold over her.
Kyle asks what he has to do to prove he’s trustworthy.
Audra smiles and says they should go upstairs.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Jack that if Ashley is going to leave Jabot behind, they don’t need Billy to be their insider anymore… He can stop pretending to hate them.
Jack asks Diane if she’s worried about Billy; it’s his family company, and he wants to play a role. He thinks they need Billy on their side more than ever.
Crimson Lights
Billy meets Chelsea in the coffee shop. They’re both dressed up for the upcoming wedding.
Billy says it might be a long night, so he’d understand completely if she wants to skip it.
Chelsea says she’s fine and wants to be there.
Billy says that’s good… He’s going to need Chelsea’s help to stop him from being himself.
Chelsea asks what he’s talking about.
Billy tells Chelsea that Ashley offered him the top job at Jabot when she and Tucker took it over.
Chelsea is shocked. She asks what Billy said to the offer.
Billy says he should have told them to go to hell, but he didn’t… He didn’t say anything, and Ashley probably thinks he’s thinking about it.
Chelsea asks if Billy is thinking about it.
Billy says he is… He wants to save Jabot, but every crooked bone in his body is telling him to take the opportunity.
Billy is a gambling addict and tells Chelsea the instinct to beat the house is still in him, and it scares him.
Chelsea says he didn’t tell Ashley yes, so that’s progress.
Billy says he’s fighting like hell to not be a greedy bastard.
Chelsea says she’s proud that he’s fighting. She says they should ditch the wedding and do something else.
Billy says it’s tempting, but he has to be there for his sister, and thanks to Chelsea, he won’t do anything stupid. He kisses her hand.
Chelsea says that after everything he’s done for her, it’s the least she can do.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Jack that part of her wants to believe Ashley wants to stop fighting.
Jack says it hasn’t been easy for Diane, and he didn’t want to start their marriage this way, but Ashley has left them no choice. He says it’s almost over, and he has another card up his sleeve that may help them get to the finish line.
The front door opens as they talk. It’s Traci.
Jack asks how things are at the Chancellor family manse.
Traci says Ashley is more nervous than she’s ever seen her.
Jack says that’s appropriate when a person is about to make the biggest mistake of their life.
Traci tells Jack to stop. Ashley is excited and happy, and they should be happy for her. Who knows, maybe it really is Ashley’s time.
The Chancellor Estate
Abby comes in to see her mom, who is putting on makeup at a vanity. She tells Ashley that Dominic is sad he’s got the sniffles and can’t be the ring bearer.
Abby asks her mom if the truce with uncle Jack is real.
Ashley says she doesn’t want to ruin the day.
Abby asks her mom if she loves Tucker and forgives him.
Ashley says that she and Tucker have grown and changed. There’s nothing conventional about her and Tucker, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
The GCAC
Devon gets a call on his phone. He asks if Tucker and Victor will be ok if he steps away.
Victor and Tucker say they’re fine… They’re just having a meeting of the minds.
Devon leaves them at the bar together.
Tucker tells Victor that he and Ashley are in love, and sticking it to Jack is just icing on the wedding cake.
Victor says Tucker forgets who he’s talking to… Victor knows that Tucker and Ashley bought a company in Europe to start their business with.
Tucker tells Victor that he never ceases to amaze him; he thought they had kept that a secret and not even Jack knows about it. He clinks his cup with Victor’s… “Score one for you!”
Victor says he’s known Ashley for a while… She’s going to try to get Jabot from Jack, and Tucker is just along for the ride.
Tucker says Victor might be right, but he might be wrong too.
Victor says Tucker is talking in riddles.
Tucker leaves the club, telling Devon that he’ll meet him outside.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra and Kyle roll around in bed and kiss.
Kyle laughs and asks if this is how Audra handles all her trust issues.
Audra tells Kyle that she covered up a little problem for Tucker, and it’s come back to haunt her.
Kyle asks for more details.
Audra says that someone is forcing her to get Victor to agree to a merger between some companies. She says that if she manages to convince Victor, she could lose her job, and Kyle could lose his as well.
Kyle asks if she has a plan.
Audra says she can’t seem to figure a way out of the situation… It’s a big mess, even for her.
Kyle asks her who or what the threat is.
Audra tells him it’s Adam Newman.

The Chancellor Estate
Abby tells her mom she looks stunning.
Ashley thanks her.
Abby says it’s time for the traditions… Something old, something borrowed, something blue.
Ashley reluctantly agrees after some prodding.
Abby gets out a jewelry box with a bracelet and asks Ashley if she remembers it.
Ashley laughs and says of course she remembers… She gave it to Abby on her tenth birthday in Paris.
Abby says it was her first piece of jewelry, and she felt very grown up. She saw the Mona Lisa that day, and she’ll never forget it.
Ashley smiles and puts on the bracelet, saying it’s “something borrowed”.
Abby brings out Ashley’s old baby book.
Ashley laughs and asks her where she found it.
Abby says she found it in a box with some of Dina’s things. This is a special occasion.
Ashley looks through the book and says she can hear Dina’s voice… She tears up and says she wishes Dina was here.
Abby says she does too.
Ashley asks what Abby has for her that’s blue.
Abby says that Ashley’s dress is blue.
Ashley smiles and tells Abby that she loves her, and she’s been her eternal love, and always will be. She says watching Abby grow has been a blessing.
Abby says she loves Ashley too. They hug.
Devon, Tucker, and the minister are in the living room, preparing.
Devon asks Tucker if he’s ok.
Tucker laughs and says he’s not sure… He’s been waiting for this day for a long time!
Billy and Chelsea arrive, and Abby comes down the stairs, saying the bride is almost ready.
Tucker thanks Abby for everything she’s done, and Abby says she’d do anything for her mom.
Ashley pokes her head down the stairs and asks Abby to come over. She asks if everyone is there yet.
Abby says everyone except Jack, Diane, and Traci are there.
Ashley figures Jack has gone back on his word and won’t attend her wedding.
Abby says that Traci wouldn’t let Jack get out of it.
Ashley says she doesn’t care; she’s going to start the wedding now, whether Jack is there or not, and Traci will have to understand that Ashley doesn’t want to wait.
Abby nods and tells everyone to take their places… It’s time! She brings Ashley her bouquet.
At that moment, the door opens, and Jack, Diane, and Traci arrive. Jack apologizes for being late and asks if they’ve missed anything.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor tells Nikki that Ashley is going through with her “sham wedding” to Tucker.
Nikki says Ashley is smitten with Tucker, but she and Victor have bigger problems to worry about.
Victor asks what they have to worry about.
Nikki says the problems’ names are Nate and Audra.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle tells Audra he figured it might be Adam because she mentioned Newman Enterprises. He asks what Adam is holding over Audra’s head.
Audra doesn’t want to get into the details.
Kyle asks what Adam is asking Audra to do.
Audra says Adam wants her to convince the Newmans to merge McCall with Newman Media. She says that Victoria hates Adam, and Victor wants Adam to focus on his new company, and she’s stuck in the middle.
Audra has been trying to find something else she can give Adam, but he only wants a merger.
Kyle has an idea.
The Chancellor Estate
Ashley smiles at Jack and says they were going to have the wedding without them.
Traci tells Ashley she looks beautiful, and Ashley thanks her.
The wedding march starts to play, and Abby walks her mom down the aisle.
The minister begins the ceremony. “Dearly beloved…”
After a bit, the minister asks Tucker and Ashley to exchange vows.
Tucker laughs and says he didn’t have anything prepared. He asks Ashley if she has vows.
Ashley says she doesn’t. She asks what they’re going to do.
Tucker says they’ll just have to wing it… It reminds him of the first time they’d done this, and he had just woken up from a coma.
Ashley says she had him right where she wanted him. He was a proper bastard at the time.
Tucker jokes that Ashley wanted to have “Proper Bastard” embroidered on a towel for him.
Ashley says she hated him so much, and Tucker says he hated her too.
Ashley wonders why they’re getting married.
Tucker says she needs to tell him why.
Ashley says he’s impossible, but she’s doing it because he understands her better than anyone else. She’s excited about their future together because it will be fun and full of laughs and love.
Ashley says they’ve gone through hell to get where they are, but she’s happy they did. She tells Tucker it’s his turn now.
Tucker tears up a bit and laughs. He says it’s a tough act to follow, but sometimes you don’t know what you’re missing in life when it’s gone.
He says he had to travel halfway across the world before to pretend she didn’t matter to him because seeing her would remind him of what he’d lost. He says he’d wake up without her and knew Ashley was “the one who got away.”
Tucker says it’s a miracle because he gets to try to do it right again, and he’s never stopped loving her. He laughs and says that’s all he’s got for his vows.
The minister pronounces them husband and wife.
Ashley throws the bouquet to Abby and kisses Tucker.
Everyone applauds, and hugs abound.
Abby welcomes Tucker to the family and hugs him.
Devon hugs Tucker.
Ashley tells Jack he should wish her happiness and welcome Tucker to the family.
Jack says he’s there with his wife, and he’ll let her congratulate them first.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor sits and asks Nikki what the issue is with Nate and Audra.
Nikki says that Nate and Audra pitched merging Adustus and Newman Media to her because they thought having two media companies was redundant.
Victor says he thought they had that issue under control. He asks when it happened.
Nikki says that Nate approached her and Victoria with the idea after Victor had left the country and said he wanted her and Victoria on board before he approached Victor with the idea.
She tells Victor that Audra came to her about it separately, but it was obvious that Nate and Audra had compared notes.
Victor wonders what their reasoning is.
Nikki thinks that Nate is trying to impress Victor with his ambition, but she doesn’t see what Audra would get out of a merger and why she’d be ok with a demotion.
Victor asks who would benefit the most in this situation.
Nikki says Adam would be the one who gets the most out of it.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle asks if Audra likes his plan.
Audra says she likes the way Kyle’s mind works. She’s upset she didn’t think of it herself… She thinks it’s brilliant.
Kyle says she’ll have power and protection from someone who’s been in her position and won’t judge her for it.
Audra says she will set the plan in motion ASAP, but first, Kyle deserves a reward for his smart idea.
They kiss passionately.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor’s phone pings, and he looks at it and says, “Speak of the devil!”
Nikki asks which devil he’s referring to.
Victor says that Audra is there to see him. He tells security to let her in.
Nikki is angry. She says she told Audra that she needed to drop the idea of the merger.
Victor says he’s curious to see what Audra has to say.
Audra walks in and says she’s sorry to interrupt them so late at night. She says she didn’t expect to see Nikki there.
Nikki says she lives there, and if Audra thinks that her talking with Victor will change anyone’s mind, she’s mistaken.
Audra says she’s not there for that.
Victor asks what Audra’s there for.
Audra says it is about the merger, but she needs to explain why she wanted them to consider it. She says that Adam has been pressuring her, and she doesn’t know what to do about it.
The Chancellor Estate
Diane stammers and finally says that she wishes Tucker and Ashley the best.
Ashley thanks her, and they share an awkward hug.
Devon hands out glasses of champagne and makes a toast.
He congratulates Tucker and Ashley, wishes them a long and happy life together, and thanks them for making the holidays easy since they don’t have to choose which grandparents to celebrate with.
Everyone laughs and drinks.
Tucker says he wants to toast his new wife; he can’t wait to spend his life with her.
He raises his glass and smiles.
Chelsea asks Billy how he’s doing.
Billy says he’s seeing things clearly now. He’s not going to make any mistakes.
Kyle runs into the house and apologizes for being late.
Diane asks Jack what the ace up his sleeve is.
Jack says she’ll know soon enough. He calls Ashley over and hands her a sheaf of paper and tells her it’s her wedding gift.
Ashley looks it over. She says the paper says that Jack’s returning her company’s assets.
Jack says that it symbolizes that the war is over between them, and he wishes them success.
Ashley asks what the catch is.

I believe we need a “wipeout” disaster writers! Kyle & Audra boom! Jack and Diane car accident. Diane gone Jack left impotent! His smug face impression gone-for awhile. Boring storyline cured!! But that’s just me…;)
