Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Victor took back his job offer to Sally, Adam lost his fight, and Nate professed his love to Victoria.
Crimson Lights
Billy walks into the cafe to get a coffee just as the attendant goes into the back room. He sees Chelsea on the patio talking with Connor.
Chelsea asks Connor why he won’t talk about what he’s going through.
Connor puts his head in his hands and sighs. Chelsea and Billy share a look.
Chancellor Park
Adam walks into the park and sees Sally there. He asks how things went with Victor and wonders when she starts her new job at Newman.
Sally tells him that Victor pulled the plug on her position, and he did it because of Adam.
Tucker & Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Tucker wakes up to an empty bed. Ashley is already awake and sitting in her robe at the table.
Tucker wishes “Mrs. Ashley Abbott McCall” a good morning.
Ashley turns to look at him, and it’s evident she’s been crying. She says she’s made a huge mistake.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane and Jack walk out onto the patio, and Jack sees a table set there. He asks Diane what this is all about.
Diane tells Jack she thought she’d surprise him with breakfast before they head to the office.
Jack thanks her and asks what they’re celebrating.
Diane says it’s their two-week anniversary.
They sit down at the table and Jack lifts the cloche, only to find that there’s no breakfast there… Only an envelope.
Jack picks up the envelope questioningly.
Diane says it’s further proof of how much she loves him.
Jack opens the envelope and pulls out a document. He scans it and says it looks like a pre-nup.
Diane says since they’re already married, it’s a post-nuptial agreement instead.
Jack doesn’t understand.
Diane says they got married so quickly that they never had time to discuss this, and she got Michael to draw up the agreement before he left town.
Jack tells Diane to get Michael to tear it up. Jack says that it implies that he doesn’t trust Diane, but he trusts her unconditionally.
Diane says it’s been hanging over her head, even before they got married. She says everyone, including Ashley, thinks she’s after the family fortune and Jabot.
Jack scoffs and says to hell with anyone who thinks that. He tells Diane she doesn’t have to prove herself to anyone.
Diane says she does, and the agreement will shut everyone up once and for all.
Jack says it doesn’t seem right to him.
Diane says she loves him and married him for all the right reasons. If they broke up, it would prove that. She wants to walk away from the relationship with what she brought into it and nothing more.
Tucker & Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Tucker asks Ashley if she was joking about making a terrible mistake.
Ashley says she’s not laughing.
Tucker says he thought they had a magical evening.
Ashley asks him why he snuck off in the middle of the night if it was so magical.
Tucker says he was restless and couldn’t sleep. He went to the bar for a drink.
Ashley asks if he met anyone there.
Tucker says he went to the bar alone.
Ashley says she knows he went downstairs, had a drink with Nate, and ended up in Audra’s room.
Crimson Lights
Billy walks up to Connor and Chelsea’s table and asks how they are.
Chelsea says Connor had a bad night and hasn’t slept well.
Billy asks Connor if he’s having nightmares.
Connor nods.
Billy says he has nightmares too, and it screws up his whole day. He says he has some tricks he uses to make himself feel better and can share them with Connor if he wants to hear them.
Chelsea laughs and says that she thinks Connor would rather talk to anyone but her about it.
Connor nods.
Chelsea says she’s going to get Connor a snack. She leaves Billy and Connor to talk.
Billy asks about the nightmares.
Connor says they’re stupid.
Billy reassures Connor that he won’t think they’re stupid… His own dreams are way stupider than Connor’s!
Connor tells him that in his dream, he fell off a boat and couldn’t seem to swim back to a light he saw.
Billy asks if Connor was sinking in the water and couldn’t reach the surface.
Connor is shocked. “You have that dream too?”
Billy tells him he’s had that dream and tells Connor he was confused and afraid in the dream, but then he wakes up, still scared, and realizes he’s at home in his own bed, and everything’s ok.
Connor asks Billy what if things aren’t ok… What if things are really bad?
Billy says that Connor has to look at his life to see why he’s feeling that way, and then he has to talk to someone… Just like he’s doing now.
Chancellor Park
Adam asks what exactly Victor said to Sally about the job.
Sally says Victor told her he changed his mind about having a design division because he was too busy focusing on Adam and Nick.
She says that whatever Adam did to disappoint Victor has put her out of a job.
Adam says he’s sorry… He’ll do whatever he can to fix it.
Sally says Victor told her there would never be a design division at Newman. She feels like she’s just part of a bigger plan with Victor.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack tells Diane that he can’t do it… He knows that Diane thinks it’s important, but it’s unfair. He knows she’s changed, and he loves and trusts her.
Diane says that only Jack and Kyle have accepted her since she came back.
Jack reminds her that Michael has accepted her too.
Diane scoffs and says that three people accept her… It’s easy for Jack to say he loves her, but it’s not easy for her to live like that.
Diane tears up and tells Jack that she needs people to accept her. She wants the gossip to stop, and that document would help prove that all she ever wanted was his love.
Jack says it might convince some people, but he wouldn’t count on it convincing Ashley.
Tucker & Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Ashley says she was looking for Tucker when she found him, so she followed him. She asks him how he ended up in Audra’s room.
Tucker says it wasn’t for the reason that Ashley thinks.
Ashley wants the reason. Why was he there?
Tucker says it’s time he came clean with her. He tells Ashley that Kyle was in Audra’s room the entire time he was there. He passes her his phone and tells her to call Kyle if she wants.
Ashley doesn’t call. Tucker tells her to come and sit on the bed beside him.
Ashley sits down, and Tucker tells her about the whole scandal, telling her that he wasn’t in charge at the time, but asked Audra to fix it. He explains that Adam found the emails and was using them to blackmail Audra in order to get his hands on Newman Media.
Ashley asks how Adam got involved in it.
Tucker says that Phyllis asked Adam to get Tucker off her back. He says it’s been handled. No more emails, no more blackmail.
Ashley says that’s good but wonders if Tucker would have ever told her about it if she hadn’t asked him.
Crimson Lights
Billy asks Connor how school is.
Connor says he hates it. He doesn’t have any friends except for Johnny, and Katie and Johnny are going to be going to another school, and he’ll be all alone.
Billy says that’s tough.
Connor says he thought he was going to have a baby sister, but that didn’t end well. Nothing’s good, and nothing’s right. He doesn’t want to be in Genoa City anymore, and he doesn’t want to go back to Walnut Grove.
Billy says that he could choose a new school.
Connor says he’d still be the weird kid with the crazy mom and a dad who’s always getting into trouble. He says when he tries to defend them… He trails off.
Billy asks if he’s being bullied. He says that he needs to speak up; it’s not healthy to bottle it up.
Connor says he doesn’t want to tell his mom; she has enough to worry about.
Billy says that Connor’s mom is stronger than he thinks and that her only priority is making Connor happy. He has to let the people who love him know how he feels.
Connor says he’s tired.
Billy says he should go upstairs and take a nap.
Connor thanks him and leaves.
Billy walks over to Chelsea’s table and sits down with her. He lets her know that Connor is tired and is going to lie down.
Chelsea asks what’s happening with him.
Billy says it sounds like Connor is being bullied at school and doesn’t want to go back.
Chelsea says they’ll switch schools.
Billy says it seems like it has to do with Chelsea and Adam… Connor feels he has to defend Chelsea to others, and kids can be cruel.
Chelsea tears up and says it breaks her heart to hear that.
Billy says he thought she should know. He says they both know the feeling of hopelessness, and he thinks that Connor might be heading that way.
Chancellor Park
Adam tells Sally that since he’s responsible for her losing her job, he can offer her a job… Again.
Sally waves it off.
Adam insists.
Sally says she already told him… They aren’t working together, and there’s no need to discuss it anymore.
Adam says he’s not giving up on Newman Media and the merger. He deserves it.
Sally says Adam should stop thinking about what he deserves and start thinking about what he has, which is a company to run that has a chance of success.

Crimson Lights
Chelsea tells Billy they’ve tried to get Connor help, but he shuts down when they ask him to talk to anyone else. Her phone rings, and she asks, “He did what?” She talks on the phone for a minute and ends the call.
Billy asks what that was all about.
Chelsea says that Connor called Anita and asked if he could move in with her. She says Connor wants to get away from Genoa City, and it’s clear he wants to get away from her too.
Chelsea leaves the cafe.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Jack he can’t assume how Ashley will react to the agreement.
Jack says he knows how Ashley’s mind works. She’ll look for loopholes in it.
Diane says there aren’t any loopholes; it says that if anything happens to their marriage, she walks away with nothing. What could Ashley find wrong with that?
Jack says she’d find some argument.
Diane says it could be the start of healing between Ashley and Jack, and Diane needs it. She begs him to sign it.
Jack signs the document and takes a picture of it.
Diane asks why he’s taking a picture.
Jack says he’s sending it to Ashley. It’s his way of telling her where to stick her suspicions.
Chancellor Park
Adam tells Sally he should be more grateful, but he wants to help her.
Sally says she’ll be alright. When one door closes, another opens. She says she can’t return to Chancellor-Winters, since they hired the other firm Victor recommended.
Sally always lands on her feet, but she can’t help but wonder if it was all a tease by Victor, showing her that he was in control.
Adam says it’s about him and making sure he knows his place.
Tucker & Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Tucker tells Ashley he’d have told her about the scandal… Eventually.
Ashley laughs and says, “Eventually?” She says it’s vague.
Tucker says he was going to wait until the time was right… He was thinking about their wedding and didn’t want to be distracted by a long-ago resolved mess.
Ashley says she’s not impressed. Underage girls… So disgusting!
Tucker says he knows it’s disgusting, and he fired the PR team when he found out they covered it up. He says Audra was covering up the coverup.
Ashley says he’s not even with McCall; why did it matter?
Tucker says they’re starting their own business, and it wouldn’t have looked good if the information came out that his ex-company had covered something up.
Ashley says that he did it to protect her, then.
Tucker laughs and says he did.
Ashley’s phone pings. She looks at it, laughs, and passes it to Tucker.
Tucker reads it, chuckling. It’s a message from Jack. “Attached is a copy of our post-nuptial agreement to dispel any doubts about Diane. Love, Jack.”
The Abbott Mansion
Diane asks what they’re toasting… The post-nup?
Jack says they’re not. It’s a toast to his wife and to their happiness.
Diane says she’d like to toast to the family not being at war with each other… To Abbott Family unity!
Jack says he wants it to be true.
Diane says Ashley has her share of Jabot, and she’s married Tucker… What more could she want?
Tucker & Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Ashley asks Tucker if he’s found a loophole in the agreement yet.
Tucker says he hasn’t.
Ashley says she’s sure that Diane is trying to weasel her way into taking the Abbott fortune from Jack.
Tucker says it seems like a pretty standard agreement to him… Maybe Jack’s learned his lesson.
Ashley doesn’t buy it. She thinks it’s a little too neat and tidy. Why now? Who signs a post-nup? Why did Jack change his mind now?
Crimson Lights
Billy sends Jack a text message. “Have heard nothing from Ashley. You?”
Chelsea returns to the cafe and tells Billy that Connor’s gone, and his backpack and some of his clothes are gone too.
Chancellor Park
Sally is sitting on a bench when Connor walks by.
Sally calls out to Connor, and he stops, looking guilty.
Crimson Lights
Chelsea is on the phone to the police. She finishes the call and sees Billy and Adam there.
Chelsea asks Adam if Connor has called him, but Adam hasn’t heard from him.
Adam and Billy reassure Chelsea that Connor will be ok.
Chance enters the cafe and tells Chelsea they’ve checked all the train and bus stations… He doesn’t think Connor’s gotten that far.
Chelsea asks why Connor would have run away.
Billy tells her that maybe it’s a cry for help.
Chancellor Park
Connor tells Sally that his dad told him about the baby… He’s really sorry.
Sally says she’s sorry too.
Connor asks if she’s ok.
Sally says it’s been hard, but it gets better every day. She asks where Connor is going.
Connor says he’s going to a friend’s house.
Sally says it’s pretty hot, and she could use a drink. She gives Connor money and asks him to get her a bottle of water and get himself something while he’s at it.
Connor agrees and leaves.
Sally makes a call to Adam. She asks if he gave Connor permission to go to a friend’s house.
Tucker & Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Tucker says they need to get out of the Abbott house… Right away, and to anywhere that Ashley wants.
He tells Ashley he loves her and is ready to start a new chapter with her… They just got married, and they live with her brother.
They both chuckle.
Tucker says he thinks they can do better… In fact, he thinks they can afford their own place. He asks Ashley what she thinks.
They kiss.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack calls Billy and leaves a voicemail, saying that Ashley has been laying low. He thinks it may be the calm before the storm.
Diane says so much for her toast to Abbott family unity. She asks if they could enjoy five minutes together.
Jack kisses her.
Chancellor Park
Adam gets off the phone with Sally after telling her they’ll see her soon. He tells Chelsea, Billy, and Chance that Connor is with Sally.
Chelsea’s relieved. She says she needs to see him and asks where he is.
Adam says Connor is in the park with Sally, and she’ll convince him to come home.
Billy hugs Chelsea and tells her to give it a little time… Connor is fine.
Chancellor Park
Sally thanks Connor for bringing her some water.
Connor asks if she’s ok now… He has to head over to his friend’s house now.
Sally asks if he’d mind hanging out with her longer. She misses him and wants to catch up. She asks him what’s up lately.
Connor is evasive.
Sally says she gets it… Sometimes it’s hard to talk about things. When people first asked her about the baby, she didn’t want to think about it, but sometimes when you’re sad or confused, it really helps to talk to people.
Connor says he’s not really going to his friend’s.
Sally asks if he is thinking of running away.
Connor nods.
Sally says she ran away a lot in her life and was a lot older than Connor. She thought that if she took off, her problems with disappear with her, but the problems followed her until she faced them and figured out what to do.
Connor says that’s the problem… He doesn’t know what to do.
Sally says he’ll figure it out but can’t keep it inside. He needs to tell the people he loves about what’s going on. She says she called his dad, and he’s waiting for Connor along with his mom at the coffee shop. She asks if he’ll let her walk him back to the cafe.
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker and Ashley come home and see Jack and Diane in the living room.
Jack asks if the honeymoon is over.
Ashley says they’re there to pick up their stuff.
Tucker says as much fun as it’s been to live there, it’s time for them to move on. He asks Diane and Jack to forward any mail to the club until they get a place.
Ashley asks how much begging Jack had to do in order to get Diane to agree to the post-nup.
Diane says that the post-nup was actually her idea.
Jack says that Diane is telling the truth… He didn’t want to sign it, but Diane insisted. He says that Michael Baldwin drew it up, and if they had any questions about it, to speak with him.
Diane congratulates them again on their wedding, and she and Jack leave to head to the office.
Ashley asks Tucker if he bought any of Jack and Diane’s performance.
Tucker says he does… It might be time to accept the idea that Diane genuinely loves Jack, and it’s time for the war to end.
Ashley isn’t sure.
Crimson Lights
Connor walks into the coffee shop with Sally. He approaches Chelsea and Adam and apologizes for running away.
Adam tells Connor that whatever is happening, they’re there to help.
Connor says he doesn’t want to be there and doesn’t want to go back to Walnut Grove. He wants to live with his grandma and go to school near her. He hates Genoa City and begs his parents not to make him stay there.
Next week on The Young and the Restless
Kyle and Victoria meet. Kyle says that it feels like a test. Victoria’s questions aren’t really about him… They’re about Audra.
Esther tells Sharon she’s going to have her plate full with the business and with Crimson Lights. Sharon tells Esther that’s why she invited her over.
Heather says she didn’t share her plans with Daniel because she didn’t know how he’d feel about her sticking around town. Daniel takes her hand and tells her he thinks it’s fantastic. Lily walks in at that moment and sees Daniel holding Heather’s hand.
