Victoria Newman.
CBS

The Chancellor Mansion

Devon tells Lily that the mystery investor may be someone who wants to get their hands on a “sure thing.”

They bounce around the idea that an IPO will come up again, but Lily says Jill put the kibosh on that.

Devon doesn’t like being blindsided, but they’ll stick together as a team.

Lily talks.
CBS

Victoria can’t believe Nick would think that. She says Victor’s had medical issues in the past, and this is about his mental as well as his physical health. She asks if Nick thinks she’s trying to undermine Victor for her own benefit.

Victoria looks at Adam.
CBS

Victoria says whatever their father decided is more than Adam deserves and unfair to Nate. She leaves.

Nick asks Adam what that was about. He says that their father has a hell of a sense of humor.

Adam says Victor’s hilarious.

Nick and Adam.
CBS

Nick says Adam walked into it… He asked Victor to allow him to start over.

Adam says he didn’t want to work under Nate.

Nick says that part does suck. He’s unsure whether he trusts Nate or Adam less right now since Adam’s already crying to him about it. He says that Adam obviously doesn’t want to start at the bottom and do things the “right” way and is just biding his time until he can make his next move.
