Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Tucker returned from his honeymoon without Ashley and told Heather he needs a lawyer.
Newman Enterprises
Victor comes to talk with Victoria. She figures Victor is there to see how she feels about Nick coming back to Newman.
Victor says he thinks Adam has learned his lesson.
Victoria asked what story Adam told Victor this time. She says she’s sad to keep seeing Adam hurt him.
Victor says he believes Adam this time.
Victoria says she wants Nate as co-CEO.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Nate sits with Audra at the bar.
Audra asks Nate what’s happening.
Nate says Nick isn’t returning to Newman Enterprises, and Nikki is still taking over Newman Media. He says getting Nikki on their side will be a lot of work.
Audra asks why Nate’s in such a good mood… Is it because he no longer has to report to Nick? She figures out that the second-in-command position at Newman is vacant. She asks if Victoria offered him the position.
Nate says she hasn’t yet, but it’s the logical next move.
Crimson Lights
Esther gives Adam a coffee. She says that Sharon’s business deal with Adam collapsed and she’s moving forward on her own, which leaves Adam out in the cold… Again.
Adam asks Esther to remind him what he’s done to make her despise him.
Esther says it was Chloe.
Adam says he’s tried to change Chloe’s mind about him.
Esther says Chloe still doesn’t trust him. He’s had all the chances in the world, but he’ll never change.
Nikki walks in and says she’ll second that. She asks to have a word with Adam in private.
Chancellor Park
Sharon walks into the park on Chance’s arm. She tells Chance that Nick has walked away from Newman and will focus on Kirsten Inc.
Chance says it’s nice to see Sharon so excited.
Sharon says Nick is away meeting with division heads on the East Coast, and she’s flying out that night to do the same on the West Coast.
She asks Chance to take a few days off and join her.
Chance says it’s tempting, but he’ll have to check his schedule; he’s still waiting to hear about his possible promotion.
Sharon says that nobody deserves to be chief of police more than Chance.
Summer walks into the park and sees Sharon and Chance.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker answers the door, and Abby strides inside. She tells him to stop delaying and tell her where her mom is.
Abby asks Tucker why he returned from Paris alone and why her mom isn’t returning her calls. She wonders what the hell he did to Ashley.
Tucker says Ashley is in Paris thinking things through. He says he didn’t do anything to upset or hurt her. He gestures for her to leave.
Abby closes the door and says she’s not leaving until she gets an answer she believes.
Tucker says that Ashley is reconsidering starting a new business with him.
Abby asks why.
Tucker says she should ask her mom that.
Abby says that she doesn’t believe Tucker didn’t do anything to push Ashley away.
Tucker says Abby must think he’s diabolical with no human decency and can’t even keep any promises. He says he did everything right, but Ashley is incapable of seeing that he’s changed. He says he has limits, too.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Audra tells Nate that he has two strikes against him that could prevent him from becoming co-CEO of Newman Enterprises. Strike One: Victor is cautious about trusting Nate. Strike Two: Nikki hates him.
Nate says Nikki wouldn’t trust anyone with Victoria after what happened with Ashland Locke. He says he’s worked on gaining Nikki’s trust lately. He says Victor asked for his thoughts about the merger and followed his advice after they spoke.
Audra says the Newmans are still testing him, and Victoria isn’t going to go against her parents’ wishes if they oppose Nate’s promotion.
Nate says Audra is underestimating Victoria’s power over her parents. He asks what’s going on with Audra; she’s been negative lately.
Audra tells Nate he should never forget he’s not invincible and should have a backup plan because no matter how smart he is, he’ll never be a Newman and be in the inner circle.
Crimson Lights
Nikki sits down with Adam and tells him that she spoke to Victor and heard about his “performance” of how he wanted to start over again.
Adam asks, “What if it wasn’t a performance?”
Nikki retorts, “What if pigs fly?” She says Victor is skeptical, but part of him wants to believe he’s sincere, but she doesn’t. She sees it as a hollow attempt to change, which will fail, and he’ll tear the family apart.
Adam asks why he’d do that.
Nikki says Adam can’t accept that Victor cares about him, so he screws Victor over to get back at him. She tells Adam to stop whatever he’s planning because if Adam tries to hurt Victor again, she’ll destroy his life and everything and everyone he cares about.
Chancellor Park
Summer walks up to Chance and Sharon and says hello.
Chance gets up and welcomes her back from her trip to Milan. He asks how it went.
Summer says the trip went well, personally and professionally, and she’s feeling great, like a whole new woman.
Sharon tells Summer that’s great to hear.
Chance says she seems better… He was worried.
Summer says that Chance helped her through a difficult part of her life, and she’s thankful for it.
Chance laughs and says that arresting her mother for murder made it a bit more difficult.
Summer says she knows where the blame lies, and it’s not with Chance.
Sharon says Summer was in a terrible position and came through it.
Summer says it wasn’t pretty going through it. She says that thanks to a conversation with Chance, she ended up on a rollercoaster screaming her head off, which really helped.
Chance says he’s glad he could be of service.
The GCAC
Tucker walks downstairs into the lobby with Abby hot on his heels. She tells him that he doesn’t get to blow her off by telling her that he didn’t have anything to do with whatever happened to her mom. She wants information, and she’ll get it.
Tucker tells her to do whatever she needs to do. He sounds depressed.
Abby says Tucker can’t blame her for doubting he had anything to do with her mother’s issues.
Tucker gets angry and tells Abby that he thought Ashley could be free of the “Abbott clan” and start a new life with him, but look where it’s gotten him. He’s back in Genoa City alone, humiliated and heartbroken, and he’s not one to handle any of that gracefully.
Abby asks him what he means by that.
Tucker says it means that she needs to stay the hell away from him and tell the rest of the Abbotts to do the same. He leaves, and Abby watches him, shocked.
Crimson Lights
Adam tells Nikki he admires her determination to protect Victor, and he’s earned her negative opinion of him. He can’t say anything to convince her he’s serious about changing, but if she gives him a chance, he’ll prove her wrong.
Nikki says that she’s done with giving him chances, and unless he walks away from his father and the family business, she’ll make sure that all hell will reign down on him. No grace period, no second chances. It’s over, and he has 24 hours to drop whatever scheme he’s cooking up against his father.
She tells Adam that if he doesn’t stop his scheme, he’ll regret it for the rest of his miserable life. She walks out of the cafe.

Newman Enterprises
Victoria tells Victor that if he suggests that Adam become the co-CEO of Newman Enterprises, she will walk out. She starts ranting about how Victor’s given Adam too many chances.
Victor tells Victoria to calm down. He has plans for Adam, but they’re not what she thinks. Adam will start at the bottom and work his way up, the same way that Victoria did.
Victoria says it’s all a ploy. She asks Victor who will get the co-CEO position if he’s not giving it to Adam.
Victor says he’s giving the position to Victoria.
Victoria is confused… He wants her to be the co-CEO of Newman?
Victor says he’s taking over the reins and will be the CEO of Newman Enterprises. Victoria will be his co-CEO and Nate Hastings will answer to her.
Victoria tears up and asks if Victor’s demoting her.
Victor says he’s steering the company.
Victoria says her work has been exemplary, and she’s trustworthy to a fault… Why is Victor doing this? Just to prove he can? Is he bored? She talks about how Victor always does this.
Victor lets Victoria rant and tells her she will still have power and make day-to-day decisions, but he built the company, and he’s seen that things are disjointed lately, so he’s retaking the reigns.
Victoria says it doesn’t feel like family unity. He’s always pushing them or driving them away.
Victor says he doesn’t give a damn what she thinks.
Victoria grabs her purse and stomps out of the office as Nikki walks in.
Nikki asks Victor what happened.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Tucker enters the lounge and sits at the bar beside Audra and Nate. He comments on how Nate and Audra have been inseparable lately.
Audra says it’s called “friendship.” He should try it sometime.
Tucker says friendship requires trust, which is dangerous because it’ll disappoint and betray you. He advises them not to trust each other.
Nate asks what’s wrong with Tucker… He was on top of the world a week ago; has he blown it all up since then?
Tucker says he hasn’t blown anything up… Yet.
The Chancellor Mansion
Devon and Mariah sit on the couch and talk.
Mariah says that Aria had a rough night and figures that Aria is picking up on her anxiety. She thanks Devon for asking her to stay at the Chancellor estate but thinks she might have made a mistake by accepting the offer.
Devon said she didn’t make a mistake.
Mariah says she didn’t know what she was thinking by taking Aria from a familiar environment. She’s worried she upset the baby.
Devon says Aria knows Mariah loves her. Mariah is overwhelmed and scared and is projecting her emotions on the baby. He says that wherever they are is home for Aria because she’s safe and loved wherever they are.
Mariah hugs Devon.
Abby comes home and slams her purse down, looking upset.
Crimson Lights
Adam walks by Esther on his way out of the coffee shop.
Esther says it looks like Nikki gave him an earful.
Adam says Nikki ripped into him, and he deserved it all, so he’s determined to stay on his new path.
Esther hopes his path leads him right out of town.
Adam ignores her comment and sends Victor a text message asking to meet. He leaves the coffee shop.
Chancellor Park
Sharon and Summer talk about Sharon’s new company and how Nick is happy about not having Adam interfering with it anymore.
Summer says she’s happy for Nick and Sharon. It’s nice they get to work together again after all these years. She asks if Phyllis still has a place in their business.
Sharon says she still has to discuss that with Nick.
Chance interrupts and says he has to get to a meeting about his possible promotion to chief of police.
Summer thinks it’s fantastic.
Chance says he has to decline Sharon’s invitation to go out west with her because things are happening quickly.
Summer asks if her dad is covering the east coast and Sharon will be covering the west coast.
Sharon says that’s the plan.
Summer wishes Sharon a successful trip and tells Chance to “break a leg.”
The Chancellor Mansion
Abby tells Mariah that she had concerns about Dominic being able to handle moving back and forth between houses when she broke up with Chance, so she completely understands why Mariah would feel like she does about Aria.
Devon says they wouldn’t be offended if Mariah wanted to take Aria back home.
Abby says they asked Mariah to stay with them because they wanted her and the baby to be surrounded by people who loved and supported them.
Mariah thanks them and says she’ll think about it. There’s a cry from the baby monitor, and Mariah excuses herself to look after the baby.
Devon tells Abby to let him know what’s going on… She came in like her hair was on fire.
Abby says that Tucker has done something to her mom, but he won’t tell her what he’s done and keeps saying it’s Ashley’s fault.
Devon is confused and asks what happened with Ashley and Tucker.
Abby says whatever happened, it’s Tucker’s fault and not her mom’s. He told her that “The Abbotts” need to stay far away from him.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Audra tells Tucker he doesn’t make the best decisions when he’s upset. She tells him to go somewhere and meditate, and he’ll realize that the universe is trying to tell him that it has other plans for him.
Nate gets a text message from Victoria asking him where he is. She says they need to talk, and she’s in the club dining room. He excuses himself, saying that something has come up that he needs to take care of. He leaves the lounge.
Tucker tells Audra that she used to know him but doesn’t know him anymore. He tells Audra she’s in over her head with Nate.
Audra says things must have gone south with Ashley. She thinks she knows where Tucker is going with this, and it’s a bad idea.
The GCAC Dining Room
Victoria sits at the bar, holding her head in her hands.
Nate approaches and sees she’s upset. He asks what happened.
Victoria says that Victor just demoted her. He’s coming back and taking charge and she’ll be his co-CEO… Isn’t that kind of him?
Nate asks if Nikki knows about it. He doesn’t think that Nikki would approve.
Victoria says Victor thinks the company has become weak and disjointed without his guidance.
Nate asks what Victoria is going to do about it.
Victoria says she has no idea. She can’t make a decision when she’s so angry.
Nate says waiting until she’s calmed down is a good idea.
Victoria’s GCAC Suite
Nate and Victoria make out, undressing as they enter the suite.
Newman Enterprises
Victor tells Nikki that Victoria didn’t take the news very well.
Nikki asks why Victor didn’t tell her he was returning to run Newman Enterprises.
Victor said he didn’t tell her because he didn’t want her to talk him out of it, and he didn’t want Nikki to tell Victoria before he had a chance to do so.
Nikki says she wouldn’t have said anything if Victor had asked her not to.
Victor says she would have.
Nikki says he made the wrong move. She says she’s worried about what the stress of working at Newman will do to his health.
Victor says the stress of not running the company is more of a concern.
Adam walks into the office, and Victor asks what he needs.
Adam says he wants to clear up a misunderstanding on Nikki’s part.
Chancellor Park
Sharon tells Summer and Chance she needs to get to the airport.
Chance says he has time to drive her to the airport before his meeting.
Sharon says he doesn’t need to do that but accepts anyhow.
Chance says goodbye to Summer and they hug. He walks off with Sharon on his arm.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Audra tells Tucker she thinks he will try to get back at the Abbotts by going after Jabot.
Tucker asks why Audra cares.
Audra says she’s not worried about Jabot; she’s worried about Tucker. She still considers him a friend; he needs one right now to keep him from being his worst enemy.
Tucker thanks her, kisses her cheek, and leaves the lounge.
Crimson Lights
Sharon gives Chance one of her bags, and they kiss and smile as they head out of the coffee shop.
Chancellor Park
Summer thinks about Chance, how they’d gotten closer lately, and how he said he was rooting for her.
It looks like she might be falling for him.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker pours himself a drink and takes a sip. He paces around his room and picks up his phone. He starts to send a message to Ashley but stops.
There’s a knock at the door. It’s Audra.
She steps in, and Tucker approaches her without a word.
He caresses her hair and kisses her.
Audra responds and kisses him back tenderly.
Newman Enterprises
Victor asks Adam what misunderstanding he’s here to clear up.
Adam says that Nikki doesn’t believe he’s trying to change and thinks he’s trying to pull a new power play. He’s happy they’re both together so they can hear what he has to say.
Nikki rolls her eyes.
Adam tells Nikki he’s not intimidated by her, and he’s not going to back down. He will prove she’s wrong about him and is there to serve his father. He says he’ll do whatever Victor wants him to.
Victoria’s GCAC Suite
Victoria and Nate cuddle in bed after sex.
Nate asks if Victoria’s feeling better.
Victoria says she’s thinking clearly now because Nate is a miracle worker.
She says she will fight her father and prove to Victor that he’s not up to the challenge of running Newman again. She won’t let Victor take this away from her!

Long-time listener and first-time caller here. I hope Ashley finally finds out that Tucker’s been using his downtime to smash Audra’s conniving C-suite cakes to smithereens.
I don’t get y&r writers. Nate has no business being at Newman. He’s a doctor for heavens sake. That story is just dumb. Victor should fire Victoria. I can’t stand her or nate. I hope Adam makes his way to the top and destroy nikki(no business experience), Victoria n Nick(spoiled brats), and for the whooper destroy Victor Newman for the way he’s treated adam
I enjoyed today info on show. Our tv channel is not on now as there is a argument with the network about the cost. I have watched this show for years and this it couldn’t have happened at time. It is really getting good now. Please keep up with daily info about shows

Forgive Adam he lost a child, Sally Spectrum, and no one wants to help him. Victor should help him. We have all done things. God forgives we should.
