Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Adam begged Victor and promised he would change, Nick decided to work with Sharon, and Nikki asked Nate to resign.
Society
Phyllis gives Summer a hug and tells her she looks terrific. She sits down with Summer and tells Summer she doesn’t want any tension between them. She asks how Summer’s trip was.
Summer says she went to Milan to buy fabric and had a great time there. She was in touch with Chelsea and the design team and visualized the whole new collection in her mind.
Phyllis says it sounds like Summer needed the time in Milan to get her thoughts together.
Summer says it made her realize she loves what she does and it’s time to move on.
Crimson Lights
Heather sees Daniel in the coffee shop, and they joke around.
Daniel asks what’s up with Heather… He hopes Phyllis didn’t grill her about moving back to the States.
Heather says it’s fine.
Daniel laughs and says it’s not.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Audra meets Tucker in the dining room and tells him that she’s surprised to see him there alone… She thought he was on his honeymoon.
Tucker says he doesn’t want to talk about it.
Audra says she’s the only one he could talk with and expect an honest answer.
Tucker says he never realized Jack had such a hold over Ashley.
Jabot Cosmetics
Diane comes into the boardroom, and Jack presents her with an invitation for their wedding reception.
Diane is overjoyed and hugs him.
Jack tells her that the only thing they have to do is set a date for the reception.
They kiss.
Chancellor Park
Billy sits in the park and flashes back to talking to Jack about putting limits on Diane’s job at Jabot.
He gets up and heads out of the park.
Society
Phyllis says she’s glad Summer is moving on after everything she did.
Summer says she’s talking about Kyle, not Phyllis. She says she was married in Milan and realized that she’s letting go of Kyle… She’s making progress.
Phyllis says that’s the opposite of progress. Does Summer want to let Kyle get away that easily?
Summer says it’s over between her and Kyle, and Summer’s in this situation because of her mom.
Phyllis says she’ll take responsibility for her mistakes but doesn’t want her mistakes to be the reason that Summer’s marriage is over.
Jabot Cosmetics
Jack tells Diane that things have calmed down, and he’s happier and more optimistic than ever since they’ve been married. He asks what Diane thinks about October for a date.
Diane thinks that might be OK.
Jack says he wants to make the arrangements… Would Diane be okay with that, too?
Diane asks him what he’s up to.
Jack says he’ll make sure their reception is “dazzling.”
Billy walks in and sees them kissing. He asks whether they’re having a productive meeting.
Jack says they were discussing their reception.
The GCAC
Audra tells Tucker that the last time she talked to him, he was planning his honeymoon with Ashley… What’s happening with him now?
Tucker says that he and Ashley had an argument.
Audra asks for more information. She doesn’t buy that he decided to return to Genoa City alone because he argued with Ashley.
Tucker says maybe it was more than an argument.
Society
Summer says Phyllis is trying to push Summer and Kyle together, but she should stop and let them make their own choices.
Phyllis says she will let them make their own decisions and be a “force of love.”
Summer says she’s still angry about Phyllis’s interference.
Phyllis says Daniel is happy with Lily, but who knows how long that’ll last now that Heather is out of town.
Summer tells her mom to stay out of it.
Phyllis says she thinks that Summer is still in love with Kyle.
Summer says she’s moving on. She’s free.
Crimson Lights
Heather tells Daniel that Phyllis is fine… She had thought about staying in Genoa City before Phyllis asked her.
Daniel asks what changed since she seemed happy in Portugal and was dating a new fellow, “Chris.”
Heather says Chris started pushing her and made her realize that’s not what she wanted, and Lucy didn’t like him either.
Daniel says he wanted to repair the damage he’s done with Lucy and be part of her life again.
Heather says Lucy still hopes there’s a way for them to be a family again.
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy tells Jack and Diane he’s sorry for how he’s acted lately. He says he wanted to protect the company and let Diane’s role evolve, but he had bought into what Tucker and Ashley were saying about Diane.
Diane says she wanted complete transparency.
Jack says Tucker and Ashley have accepted that Diane isn’t going anywhere.
Billy says Tucker and Ashley made him think that he’d be able to run Jabot on his own if they took it over. He says he couldn’t sleep last night because he thought he might be going back to his old mindset.
Diane says they should have never asked him to go to Ashley and Tucker’s side.
Billy says he shouldn’t have let things get as far as he did.
Jack thanks him for his honesty.
Diane says she’s sorry he thought she was a threat, but she’s glad he doesn’t anymore.
Jack invites Billy out for a bite to eat, and Billy accepts.
The GCAC
Audra asks what happened between Ashley and Tucker. She asks if Ashley is making up with Jack.
Tucker tells her he doesn’t owe her any explanation.
Audra says she thought they were good friends.
Tucker says he has a lot in his head and never meant to take it out on Audra. He looks over and sees Billy, Jack, and Diane enter the dining room.
Crimson Lights
Daniel tells Heather that the three of them will still be family, even if he and Heather aren’t together.
Heather says she told Lucy that, but it would help to hear it from him.
Daniel says he’ll try to work it into one of their conversations.
Heather says that Lucy will know that they talked, and she’s unsure if she wants to return to Lisbon. Things didn’t work out as she hoped, and her conversation with Phyllis made her think things over.
Daniel asks what she’d do if she didn’t go back.
Heather says she’d either find a job in Savannah or Genoa City. Firms are looking for help.
Daniel says they’ll talk more about it.
Heather says she has to go… She’s meeting Daniel’s mother.
Daniel asks what they’re meeting about.
Heather says she’s not sure… Phyllis just asked her to meet, and she agreed.
Daniel says he gets the feeling that his mother would like nothing more than to see him and Heather back together.
Heather asks why Phyllis would want that.

Summer tells Phyllis they were making good progress, and if they want to continue down that road, Phyllis needs to lay off trying to make decisions for her children.
Summer asks if her mom is still going to work for Adam’s company that he’s forming with Nick and Sharon.
Phyllis scoffs and says the deal has fallen apart.
Summer asks what she did.
Phyllis says it was Adam’s fault. She relates how there was fighting between Adam and the rest, and the deal appears to be off.
Summer asks what Phyllis will do now.
Phyllis says she’s ok… She doesn’t have to make any decisions right now. She’s living her life on a positive track.
Summer says she needs to focus on her life and stay on track. She looks at her phone and says she has to get back to the office, and offers her mom a ride.
Phyllis says she’s meeting someone at the restaurant.
Summer asks who she’s meeting.
Phyllis says she’s meeting her attorney… Heather.
Summer shakes her head in disbelief. “Mom. Really?”
The GCAC
Diane looks over and sees Tucker. She wonders what he’s doing back.
Jack looks around and asks where Ashley is.
Billy says they should find out.
Jack, Billy, and Diane walk over to Tucker and Audra.
Jack asks, “Back from Paris so soon?”
Tucker says that he missed them.
Jack says that Tucker just got to Paris… Wasn’t it his honeymoon?
Tucker sarcastically says Jack’s very astute. He was somewhere else; now he’s here.
Jack says Ashley isn’t here… What happened?
Tucker tells Jack to ask Ashley about it himself. He says goodbye to Audra and leaves the dining room.
Audra gets up to leave, but Billy stops her. He asks her why she’s with Tucker.
Jack asks Audra why Tucker isn’t with Ashley and if he told her what’s happening.
Audra says she just ran into Tucker, and it’s not her place to say what happened.
Diane says it looked like Audra and Tucker were having an intense conversation when they arrived.
Audra says Tucker isn’t interested in telling them about it. She leaves the restaurant.
Jack gets on the phone and calls Ashley. He leaves a voicemail asking her to call him.
Billy says that was strange. Maybe Ashley made the same realization that he did about their family and that she doesn’t want to fight anymore.
Jack says that’d be a blessing.
Crimson Lights
Summer walks into the cafe and sees Daniel and Heather talking. She comes over and says hello. She says it’s nice to see Heather again before she heads back to Portugal.
Heather nods and says her plans are up in the air.
Daniel says he’s glad Summer’s there. He wants to hear all about her trip to Milan.
Heather says she has to attend a meeting, and they’ll catch up later. She leaves the coffee shop.
Daniel tells Summer that she’ll never guess where Heather is going.
Summer smiles and says Heather’s meeting with their mom for lunch. She says their mom is on a mission to repair the damage she’s done, and Phyllis is on a mission to save Summer’s marriage.
Daniel says it’s the least Phyllis could do since she was the cause of Summer’s marriage breakdown.
Summer says there’s nothing to fix… She and Kyle couldn’t work through what happened.
Daniel says their mom played on Summer’s emotions and made Summer lie for her. He thinks their mom trying to fix Summer’s marriage shows a level of awareness he didn’t think Phyllis had.
Summer says that Phyllis is also trying to get Daniel and Heather back together.
Daniel laughs and says he just finished telling Heather that same thing. He says this is typical of Phyllis… She always breaks something and rushes in to fix it without asking anyone how they feel about it. He asks if Summer wants Phyllis to fix her relationship with Kyle.
Summer says she doesn’t. It’s not going to happen. She asks how Daniel feels about Heather.
The GCAC
Jack, Diane, and Billy sit at a table in the dining room as they talk.
Jack says it could be a ploy on Tucker’s part… Maybe he wants them to believe that Ashley and him have had a falling out.
Billy says maybe Tucker wants them to lower their guard.
Diane says that Tucker seemed upset.
Jack says Billy’s spent the most time with Tucker lately… What does he think?
Billy says that when they walked in, Tucker didn’t seem happy.
Diane wonders what could have happened to make Tucker return alone to Genoa City without Ashley.
Jack says he can think of a number of reasons… None of them are good.
Billy wonders if Ashley came to her senses and kicked Tucker out.
Jack figures Tucker might have betrayed Ashley or hurt her.
Diane says speculating gets them nowhere.
Billy hopes that Ashley gets Jack’s message and they’ll hear back from her about it soon.
Diane says in the meantime, they keep their eyes on Tucker and will deal with what comes up. She says she has to leave and gets up.
Jack asks Billy to stay behind for a minute and kisses Diane as she leaves.
Jack tells Billy that he wants to talk about him… And what he said earlier in the boardroom.
Billy wonders if Jack was wondering if he only told him what he wanted to hear.
Jack says that one minute, Billy was thinking that Diane was ready to take over the company, and the next, he’s saying he was wrong. Jack wants to know if things are okay between him and Billy.
Billy says he thought they were, but now he’s unsure if Jack has accepted his apology.
Jack says Ashley’s marriage may have imploded, but it could be a tactical move on her part, and Jack hates not being able to trust his family and knowing who he can count on.
Billy says they’re doing it for their father’s legacy, and it’s not just Jack anymore who’s shouldering the responsibility… Billy’s there to support him, too.
Jack says he’s really enjoyed working with Billy the last few months, and Billy has had legitimate concerns. He loves Diane, but Billy’s right… He can’t just blindly give her power over the family company, and she knows that, too.
Billy says he’s just been dealing with his own issues.
Jack says Diane wants to know and be part of the family business.
Billy says he’ll support her and help her along.
Jack says it makes him happy to hear that.
Chancellor Park
Diane is walking through the park when Abby calls out to her.
Abby thanks Diane for saving her mom’s life when she was choking.
Diane is flustered and says she did what anyone would do.
Abby says that Diane’s not just anyone… Her mom tried to undermine her relationship with Jack and put a target on her back.
Diane says she hates what happened between Jack and Ashley. Things seem to be better now, though.
Abby says she thinks so, too. She’s happy that her mom and Tucker are on their honeymoon in Paris.
Abby figures that Ashley is letting go of her anger and resentment. She sees the look on Diane’s face and asks if she disagrees with that.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker pours himself a drink and thinks back to when he had told Ashley she was the most exquisite woman on the face of the earth and told her he loved her.
Ashley had told him she loved him too.
Tucker sits on the bed and thinks about his time in Paris with Ashley.
A Paris Cafe
Tucker and Ashley are sitting at a cafe table.
Ashley tells Tucker she was thinking about Jack and how they’d fought in the past, and she’d left Jabot and taken her patents with her.
Tucker nods. She’d told him about that.
Ashley tells Tucker that Jack came to Paris to make up with her, and they came to a cafe like the one she was at with Tucker. They talked like brother and sister, and they realized the blood they shared was stronger than the argument that drove them apart.
Tucker asks Ashley if she is trying to get it out of her system and whether they could enjoy their time together in Paris now that it’s out.
Ashley looks at him, and Tucker says that he doesn’t like that look in her eyes.
Chancellor Park
Diane tells Abby that she just saw Tucker at the GCAC.
Abby is confused. She asks if her mom and Tucker are back already from their honeymoon.
Diane says Tucker was alone. She says that Ashley stayed in Paris.
Abby asks what happened.
Diane says she’s unsure, but Tucker didn’t look very happy. She says she told Jack there was no point in speculating until he finds out Ashley’s side of the story.
Abby thanks Diane for telling her.
Diane says, “Of course!” and leaves the park.
Abby calls her mom and leaves a voicemail. “Mom, I’ve heard Tucker’s back and you’re not. What’s going on?”
Crimson Lights
Daniel tells Summer he and Lily are happy and things are good.
Summer says Daniel worked hard to get to that place. He’s back in Lucy’s life and managed to repair his relationship with her. She wonders if there’s any part of Daniel that wants to repair his relationship with Heather, too.
Daniel says he only wants to be friends with Heather and co-parent Lucy.
Summer says they have a problem… Their mom wants to fix their lives, and that’s why she’s being so “chummy” with Heather.
They agree that they must stop their mom before she worsens things.
Society
Tucker enters the restaurant.
Phyllis sees him and says she thought he was on his honeymoon.
Tucker is non-committal. He picks up a takeout bag and gets ready to leave.
Heather walks in, and Phyllis says hello.
Tucker looks around and sees Heather. He asks her if she’s staying in Genoa City.
Heather says she’s still considering her options.
Tucker says if she decides to stay, he needs a good attorney.
The GCAC
Jack tells Billy that he’s glad he’s going to help Diane get up to speed at Jabot.
Billy says he should have done it long ago, and he’s sorry that things went sideways.
Jack says he’s just glad Billy’s back in his corner. He’s only looking forward now.
Billy says he is too.
They shake hands, and Billy leaves the club.
Jack looks like he’s got a lot on his mind.

I think Ashley definitely needs to stay with Tucker….He actually fell in love with her .. and she was cruel enough to keep telling him she was falling in love with him when she wasn’t….Tucker was in love with her
