Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Summer & Audra traded insults, Billy warned Kyle to be cautious, and Adam made demands of Victor.
Jabot Cosmetics
Jack, Billy, and Diane walk into the boardroom.
Jack says that when he was in New York, he found out that Ashley & Tucker are planning to take Ashley’s patents, and the legal team told him that there were loopholes in their original merger agreement that would let her do it if she had cause.
Jack tells Diane that Ashley plans to use Diane’s past to build her case for taking the patents.
The Chancellor Estate
Ashley and Tucker bring housewarming gifts to Abby and Devon.
Abby thanks them and says she thinks Ashley looks happy. She asks if Ashley worked things out with Jack.
Ashley says she hasn’t, but things are finally falling into place for her and her future.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Phyllis meets Heather in the restaurant and asks if she convinced Christine to drop the charges.
Heather says Christine wouldn’t budge.
Phyllis says she has a witness, but Christine is obsessed with bringing her down.
Heather says Christine wants to go to trial but must convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.
Phyllis doesn’t want to take her chances that Carson would change his mind.
Heather asks if she thinks he will.
Phyllis asks if they should put Carson in protective custody so nobody could get ahold of him and make him recant his testimony.
Heather asks why anyone would do that.
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy says he’s not surprised Ashley’s making this play to take the patents. He thinks that Diane should step down from Jabot so that Ashley wouldn’t have any ammunition to use against them.
Jack says he’s not willing to give in to Ashley.
Billy says if they underestimate Ashley, it could bring them all down.
The Chancellor Estate
Abby and Ashley are talking. Abby asks if Ashley was referring to Tucker when she said everything was going her way.
Ashley says she was. She says she wants to give love one more chance and it makes her happy… In fact, they have an announcement they want to make.
Tucker gives everyone a glass of champagne and makes a toast to Devon and Abby moving into his mother’s house. He says it makes him so happy to see them together.
Tucker gets teary-eyed and says he’s going to try to make up for not being a great father.
He raises his glass and makes a toast to new beginnings, life, love, and laughter.
The GCAC
Heather asks Phyllis why she thinks Christine has a vendetta against her.
Phyllis tells Heather she doesn’t trust Christine and wouldn’t put anything past her… That’s all.
Heather says Christine wouldn’t coerce a witness into lying for her.
Phyllis says she doesn’t know Christine’s dark side.
Heather thinks Phyllis is holding back. She says she needs Phyllis’s complete honesty to do her job and thinks Phyllis is trying to spin something.
Heather says they’re covered by lawyer-client confidentiality. She needs to come clean or find another attorney.
Phyllis says that Tucker has her under his thumb, and she can’t get out.
Heather asks what she means by that.
Phyllis looks afraid and says that Tucker found Carson, her only witness, and convinced him to testify for her. He’s got Phyllis’s life in his hands.
Heather nods and takes Phyllis’s hands.
The Chancellor Estate
Ashley asks Abby how it is to live in the same house where she was with Chance.
Abby says she feels a little guilty sometimes… Waking up there with Devon and Dominic feels perfect. She explains that this is the life she always wanted, and she thought she’d have it with Chance and that’s when the guilt creeps in.
Ashely asks why exactly she feels guilty.
Abby says that she was fooling herself thinking she was happy with Chance, and now she’s together with Devon, it makes her feel guilty she never had this with Chance.
Abby tells Ashley that she’d like to talk about something else… She’s dying to hear Ashley’s news.
Devon asks Tucker if he and Ashley are taking a portion of Jabot and starting their own company.
Tucker says he doesn’t want to talk business.
He says Devon and Abby know Tucker and Ashley are getting married, but they’ve moved the date up… They’re getting married in a couple of weeks.
Devon and Abby look surprised at the news.
Ashley says it’s going to be a small wedding.
Tucker says it will be family and friends and they don’t have a venue set yet.
The GCAC
Heather asks how long Tucker’s been blackmailing her and asks if Michael knew about it.
Phyllis says that Michael never knew about it, and it’s only been a few days since Tucker found Carson.
Heather asks if Phyllis knew about Carson before Heather told her that Carson was testifying. She curses when she sees the answer on Phyllis’s face. She asks if Carson is telling the truth about witnessing Stark.
Phyllis says she already told Heather that he was telling the truth.
Heather says Phyllis needs to tell her again because if any of it is a lie, it’ll come out in court.
Phyllis says Carson really was a witness… He saw everything.
Heather nods. She asks what Tucker wants from Phyllis.
Phyllis says he wants her to get Diane Jenkins out of Jabot, but she doesn’t want any part of it.
Heather asks if Tucker is the reason why Phyllis thinks they need to put Carson into protective custody.
Phyllis says Tucker can’t be trusted; he’s shady and holds her life in his hands.
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy says that Diane stepping away from Jabot would stop Ashley in her tracks.
Diane thinks Billy makes a good start.
Jack won’t have anything of it. He can’t believe that Ashley is doing it again. He says he won’t budge one inch.
Billy says things are going to get ugly. He leaves the room.
Diane tells Jack she’s sorry.
Jack says she has nothing to be sorry for. He says he missed her and wants to go home to make up for lost time.
Diane smiles and agrees that’s a good idea. They kiss.
The GCAC
Heather tells Phyllis the case hinges on Carson’s testimony.
Phyllis says maybe she can string Tucker along until the trial and can hopefully make Jack forgive her in the meantime.
Heather says she’s done a lot of damage to the Abbott family.
Phyllis says Heather must have heard that from Daniel.
Heather says she hopes Phyllis is successful in her quest to keep Tucker satisfied… They need to fast-track the trial.
Phyllis says there’s nothing she wants more than to be free.
Heather says Phyllis also needs to work on making amends to her family.

The Chancellor Estate
Abby tells Ashley that getting married that soon seems really… Fast.
Ashley says Tucker loves her and she loves him, and she wants Abby to be happy for them.
Abby tells Tucker she doesn’t want her mom to get hurt again.
Tucker says that won’t happen, he’ll do everything he can to ensure she never gets hurt.
Devon shakes his head and says Tucker never ceases to amaze him.
Tucker says he’s not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
Abby says they have their blessing… Under one condition. She tells Tucker and Ashley they have to stop looking at wedding venues now because they have to throw the wedding at the Chancellor estate!
The Abbott Mansion
Diane and Jack sit on the couch and smile happily at each other.
Diane says it feels almost normal… It’s so nice.
Jack says he was surprised that Phyllis just showed up.
Diane laughs and says she can’t wait to talk about Phyllis. She says everyone was surprised.
Jack asks how she even made bail.
Diane tells him that Carson, the EMT, came back to defend Phyllis.
Jack says it sounds sketchy.
Diane says it must have been a guilty conscience on Carson’s part, and Phyllis is using it as a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Jack says he’s sorry he brought Phyllis up.
Diane says it’s quite coincidental that the EMT would just show up and testify for Phyllis.
Jack shakes his head and says everything always works out for Phyllis. He asks if Diane has seen Phyllis since she returned.
Diane said she did see Phyllis and they were civil to each other. She’d like to believe Phyllis was sincere, but she has doubts. Diane says she doesn’t want any conflict with Phyllis.
Jack says that Phyllis will be busy trying to mend fences between Summer and Kyle.
Diane says Summer came over the other night, and things were pretty tense between her and Kyle. She says that Kyle and Summer have hurt the people they love.
Jack says there’s always room for forgiveness.
The GCAC
Phyllis tells Heather she’s going to make things right for her children. Tucker won’t dictate her life; that already happened with Stark. She says big changes will be coming.
Billy walks up while Phyllis talks to Heather and says, “That’d be something!”
The Chancellor Estate
Tucker says he’s surprised but happy about Abby’s invitation to host the wedding at the estate.
Abby says there’s something different about Tucker and Ashley… It looks like they’re genuinely falling in love.
Tucker says he’s touched that they’d offer to host the wedding in his mom’s house.
Abby and Devon say they want to support them.
They all clink glasses in a toast, smiles all around.
Later, after Ashley and Tucker leave, Abby says it seems like she surprised Devon with her offer to them.
Devon laughs and asks if her offer was genuine.
Abby says that it was real… Ashley was so happy and seemed to actually trust Tucker; Maybe he really is the one for her.
Devon says he hopes she’s right.
Abby says he sounds doubtful.
Devon says he’s not doubtful, but he’s learned to go with the flow with Tucker. He says he saw the look on Ashley’s face too.
Abby says it was true love. They kiss and hug.
The GCAC
Billy says he’s happy to see Heather back in town. He asks her if Phyllis has a chance in the trial.
Phyllis says she has innocence on her side.
Billy smiles and walks away.
Tucker watches from the shadows.
As Heather leaves, Tucker goes after her.
Billy returns to Phyllis’s table and asks if he can join her.
Phyllis says that it depends on whether he plans to “make it a bloodsport” like everyone else has been.
Billy asks why he’d do that.
Phyllis says everybody’s gunning for her.
Billy says he’s there to share news about Summer with her.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley comes home and sees Diane and Jack in the living room. She asks Jack how New York was.
Jack says Ashley knows damn well how New York was, and she’s using Diane’s history to get what she wants.
Ashleys says she’s protecting Jack.
Diane gets up and says she’s out. She’s not keeping her job, she’s walking away from it!
Jack says Diane can’t quit.
Diane says it’s her choice; she won’t be used as ammunition in Jack and Ashley’s war.
Jack says he won’t allow it. Ashley can take her patents and anything else she wants, but Diane is staying.
Tucker walks in as Jack says, “You want war? I’m ending it right now.”
Diane says she’s not letting Jack throw it all away for her… She’s out.
The Chancellor Estate
Devon and Abby snuggle on the couch.
Abby asks Devon what he’s thinking about.
Devon says he’s thinking that they’ve never talked about marriage before.
Abby says he’s right… They haven’t.
Devon says they’ve talked about raising Dominic together and living in the Chancellor Estate, but their conversation earlier made him think.
Hearing Tucker and Ashley’s news made Devon realize they should discuss the idea of getting married.
Abby says she loves the idea. She kisses him.
The GCAC
Phyllis asks Billy what he has to tell her about Summer… Is it a good thing?
Billy says it’s good; he wanted to let Phyllis know that he thinks Summer’s really been handling things well. He says Summer is grown up and even though there’s conflict between her and Kyle, she’s pushing through it and Phyllis should be proud.
Phyllis says she is proud. She says that the situation she went through changed her, and she’s realized she has a lot to lose if she doesn’t turn things around… She really wants her family to love and respect her.
Billy says he wants to believe it.
Phyllis says she’ll show him. She has a question… How did Kyle & Jack react to turning herself in?
Billy says he doesn’t know about Kyle’s reaction. He says he’s pulling for her.
Heather comes back and tells Phyllis they need to talk privately.
Billy excuses himself and leaves.
Heather tells Phyllis that it seems that Carson has disappeared.

I really don’t get it when Sally talk to Adam people be mad at her for being so nasty to him and when she don’t talk to Adam people still complaining Sally just can’t win win or lose you just can’t
I am excited that Diane and Phyllis continue to be civil to one another and both contribute to ending the animosity between them…great writing!
