Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Audra gave Tucker an ultimatum about Ashley as Jack deceived Victor about his meeting with Nikki.
Crimson Lights / Society
Chelsea is sitting in the coffee shop when her phone rings. It’s Adam.
Adam tells Chelsea he’s given Connor’s situation more thought. He asks if Chelsea wants to drive over to see Connor together.
Chelsea doesn’t think they should go to see Connor.
Adam is upset. He says it’s fine if Chelsea doesn’t go, but Connor needs to know he has his father’s support. He’s already called Connor.
Chelsea can’t believe it… What did Adam say to him?
Adam says he left Connor a voicemail and told him to call him back. He wants to talk to him and let him know he’s on his way.
Chelsea tells Adam not to speak to Connor before they discuss it in person.
Adam agrees. He tells Chelsea he’s at Society.
Chelsea sighs and says she’ll be there soon. She ends the call.
Billy brings Chelsea a mug of tea. He overhears her side of the conversation and figures Adam hasn’t changed his mind.
Chelsea nods. She says Adam plans to yank Connor out of school; she has to stop him!
Billy says it’s just like Adam to add fuel to the fire. He tells Chelsea to take a breath and enjoy tea with him.
Chelsea knows that if she goes hard on Adam, he’ll dig in and make things worse.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Devon, Sharon, and Nate are sitting at a table. Devon tells Sharon they appreciate the presentations on how Cassidy First could partner with Chancellor-Winters.
Sharon says she thinks their tech could really help Chancellor-Winters. She wanted to meet in person to see if there were any questions she could answer. She asks if Billy is going to be at their meeting.
Devon says it will just be him and Nate today, and Sharon’s answered all their questions.
Sharon smiles and hopes that means they’re ready to make a deal.
Tucker and Audra walk down into the lobby, and Nate glances over.
Devon notices Nate’s gaze and turns to look.
The Paris Bistro
Traci is sitting at a table when Ashley approaches and joins her. Traci says she’s glad to see her; she was afraid Ashley would have changed her mind about meeting at the bistro… It might trigger her by reminding her of her fight with Tucker.
Ashley says it’s triggering to be told that her memory is wrong.
Traci says memories can be tricky things.
Ashley says it’s good she’s back so she can remember what really happened. She knows that the waiter is lying because Tucker paid him off. She says Tucker suggested she come back to Paris and question the waiter… It’s clearly a setup!
Traci says she wouldn’t put it past Tucker to do something like this but thinks they should prepare themselves for another possibility… Tucker didn’t pay the waiter, and they’re telling the truth.
Ashley can’t believe Traci is taking Tucker’s side and giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Traci says she’s not taking Tucker’s side. She’s sure his anger was terrifying, but she’s questioning whether he paid off the staff.
Ashley says Tucker is capable of anything. When she called to confront him, he doubled down. She says he’ll do anything and wants to make her pay because she wouldn’t cut ties with Jabot and her family. Tucker is an egomaniac threatened by the thought of Ashley loving anything more than him.
Traci says that’s absurd. Ashley has a big heart, and Traci is there to protect it.
Ashley says it would help if Traci trusted that Ashley knows what she’s talking about.
Ashley says Tucker wouldn’t hesitate to pay off a waiter. His whole life revolves around revenge, and he’s trying to make Ashley think there’s something wrong with her! She says it’s not going to work this time. She’s on to him!
Traci sighs.
Ashley apologizes. She’s ruining the night, isn’t she? She’s in Paris with her sister, and she won’t let Tucker ruin that, too. She calls for the waiter to bring more wine.
The GCAC Dining Room
Tucker and Audra take a seat. Nate can’t keep his eyes off them.
Devon tells Sharon he’s glad she wanted to meet in person; he knows how easy it is to be distracted by outside concerns. He says they’re ready to make some decisions about the deal today.
Nate tears his eyes off Audra and Tucker and returns to the conversation. “Yes, absolutely.” He says they’ve run it by Lily, but they’re still waiting on Billy and Jill to sign off on the deal.
Devon says Billy and Jill have agreed to the partnership, but they have to go over the finer details. He thinks they’ll get the paperwork together by the afternoon.
Sharon thinks that’d be amazing. She’s happy and optimistic!
Devon thinks they’ll be able to get the partnership solidified in the next few weeks.
Sharon smiles and says she’ll return to the office and start preparations.
Nate says they’ll be sipping on champagne about it soon.
Sharon leaves the club.
Devon congratulates Nate on landing his first big deal since he returned to Chancellor-Winters.
Nate’s still distracted by Tucker and Audra.
Devon asks what’s going on between Nate and Audra.
Audra asks Tucker if he’s starting at her to distract himself from Devon ignoring him.
Tucker looks around in mock surprise. “Is Devon here?” He says he only has eyes for Audra right now. He says he feels closer to Audra than he ever has before. He asks if she feels the same.
Audra says she feels a “shift” in their dynamic and can only hope it lasts.
Tucker laughs and says he thinks she’s still on guard about Ashley.
Audra says she’s realistic and knows Tucker; of course she’s on guard.
Tucker takes her hand and says he meant what he said upstairs… He chooses her in every way possible. It’s him and Audra from now on. He kisses her hand.
Crimson Lights
Chelsea gets off the phone with Connor’s school administrator. She tells Billy she loves Connor’s school, and they’ve assured her they’re keeping an eye on Connor and will work on getting him eating again; he’s been so upset he hasn’t been thinking about food.
Billy says once Connor is back to basics, he’ll be good!
Chelsea says the school explained things to her, and it was helpful. She has to make Adam understand that it’s not the right time to visit Connor and hopes he’ll take the school’s advice.
Billy asks if he should join Chelsea for moral support.
Chelsea says Billy’s presence would set Adam off. She’ll meet him alone. She stands up and prepares to leave.
Sharon walks in and says hello.
Chelsea congratulates Sharon on her launch and apologizes that she can’t talk more; she has to go. She leaves the coffee shop.
Sharon asks Billy how things are going.
Billy says things are good; Chelsea’s dealing with some co-parenting issues.
Sharon hopes Connor is okay.
Billy says Connor will be just fine… Adam is handling things the way they’ve come to expect of him.
Sharon asks Billy if Adam is why he wasn’t at the meeting with Devon and Nate.
Billy is confused. What meeting?
Sharon says they had a meeting to finalize their partnership.
Billy says he wasn’t aware there was a meeting and has nothing on his calendar. Who set up the meeting? He should have been a part of it!
Sharon says she reached out to Devon and assumed Billy would be there.
Billy says he should have been there, but Devon must not have thought so.
Sharon says she doesn’t think it was deliberate. Devon said he would run the numbers by Billy and Jill, and they’ll send the documents to her later.
Billy narrows his eyes. He hasn’t received any emails about it or a phone call about it, either.
Sharon asks if Billy and Devon are having a conflict. She’s worried that they will have issues before the partnership gets off the ground.
Billy says there aren’t any problems. He and Devon are figuring out how to work together again. It’s all about collaboration for him! He says he doesn’t mind if his feathers get ruffled by missing a meeting; he just doesn’t want it to affect his mother. He’ll remind Devon that he needs to be kept in the loop.
The GCAC Dining Room
Nate tells Devon that nothing is going on between him and Audra.
Devon asks why he keeps looking over at her.
Nate says they worked closely together, and he’d hate to see her get sucked back into Tucker’s drama again.
Devon says Audra’s a grown woman who knows how Tucker works. Audra sitting and holding Tucker’s hand should tell Nate everything he needs to know about her.
Nate says Devon’s probably right.
Devon recommends that Nate stay away from Audra; she’s full of drama, and Nate doesn’t need her to draw him into a situation his family doesn’t want him to be in.
Audra smiles as Tucker kisses her hand. She says he’s not the type of guy who usually displays public affection.
Tucker grins and says she hasn’t pulled her hand away.
Audra says she doesn’t hate his affection, but it doesn’t mean he can distract her from business. What happens now?
Tucker groans and lets go of her hand. He says Audra coming back means he’ll have to change his plan… He’ll have to think about what’s next.
Audra says they can work it out together… After all, she was going to run Glissade when he planned on merging it with Jabot. He must have had a plan when he first asked her to join him. She takes his hands and tells him that he can have everything he wanted from Ashley with her, but this time, it’ll be real.
Tucker says he’s 100% in. He tells her not to doubt him. He says he wants to bask in the afterglow over lunch without talking business.
Audra says Tucker made some promises, and she will make sure he remembers every single one of them!
Tucker grins. “Yes, ma’am!”

The Paris Bistro
Ashley apologizes to Traci for her outburst, saying that Tucker upsets her.
Traci says Ashley needs to understand that she’s letting Tucker win by upsetting her. She doesn’t like that Ashley called him! She says the only way to take control back from Tucker is to not think of him at all.
Ashley says she’s trying to. She came to Paris for closure but only faced Tucker’s new lies. She figures she has to change tactics.
Traci hopes Ashley’s new tactics mean she’ll forget about Tucker and move on with her life.
Ashley looks at her wine glass and thinks of Tucker’s version of their breakup. No glasses were smashed, and the chair wasn’t knocked over. She holds her temples.
Traci sees Ashley lost in anguish and thought. She sighs and says she knew coming to the bistro was a mistake.
Ashley says she keeps thinking about Tucker’s version of their breakup and knows it didn’t happen that way.
Traci suggests they get on the jet and head home. They’ve learned all they can in Paris.
Ashley says she’s not ready to give up or go home. If Tucker could get the waiter to lie, maybe she could get him to tell the truth!
Traci asks how she’ll do that. Is she going to bribe him with even more money?
Ashley says she wouldn’t bribe him… Maybe she’d “pay him for his time.”
Traci says a waiter being bought by the highest bidder will never tell the truth. They have to accept that they’ve hit a dead end.
Ashley shakes her head. Nope. She’s not accepting defeat!
Traci tells her not to think of it as winning or losing… Ashley needs to think of it as moving on with her life! She says they won’t know if the waiter lied unless they hook him up to a lie detector.
Ashley grins and says she’ll suggest it to the waiter.
Traci pleads for Ashley to go home and be surrounded by people who love her.
Ashley tells her to stop treating her with kid gloves; does she think Ashley is going crazy?
Society
Chelsea walks into the restaurant and joins Adam. She thanks him for meeting with her.
Adam nods. Nothing is more important than their son.
Chelsea says she knows Adam loves Connor; that’s why he gets so intense.
Adam says he overreacted when he first heard and wanted to pull him out of school, but that was because he loves his son deeply.
Chelsea says they both love Connor and have to do what’s best for him. She says she spoke with the guidance counselor and the head of Connor’s school, and they’re going to put some protocols in place and will get Connor some more tutoring and evaluate him to find out what’s happening. She says diagnosing a learning difference takes time, and the school recommends they wait until parents’ weekend to visit.
Adam says she’s made these decisions without him.
Chelsea says she was getting advice on what to do and clarifying that they should wait before visiting their son.
Adam says she was getting more ammunition to support her opinion.
Chelsea says she doesn’t want “conflict” to upset their son.
Adam scoffs… Chelsea thinks he’s going to make a scene at the school.
Chelsea says Adam already admitted to overreacting.
Adam says he overreacted because he’s only getting partial information.
Chelsea is upset. She says she’s here talking to him so they can be on the same page!
Adam asks if he gets any input into this… Connor called her, she called the school, and now she’s making decisions about Connor without consulting him at all! He says Connor has two parents; Chelsea doesn’t get to call all the shots!
The GCAC Dining Room
Nate asks Devon if he thinks Nate is one step away from betraying his family again, even though he’s done so much to repair things between them.
Devon says something caused Nate to betray them before… He suspects Nate’s “weakness” is his ambition. Ambition is fine as long as it doesn’t cloud his judgment and lead to decisions that hurt the company he works for. Devon says Victoria tempted Nate before, and he thinks Audra could affect Nate similarly.
Tucker and Audra talk as they eat. Tucker asks if Audra will ever really trust him.
Audra says Tucker taught her never to trust anyone. She knows he doesn’t trust her and suspects she has an agenda.
Tucker says that’s part of the thrill; they keep each other on their toes! He sniffs the sprig of thyme and pops it under Audra’s nose to sniff. He says he doesn’t want Audra to tell him her plan; he wants to figure it out alone! It’s much more thrilling for him to work it out by himself.
Audra laughs and says being suspicious of each other isn’t as romantic as Tucker seems to think it is.
Tucker says they thrive on mystery and piecing things together. He likes the thought of them seducing the information from each other and looks forward to doing that with her… In fact, he looks forward to doing everything with her! He raises his drink, and they clink their glasses in a toast. “Salut!”
Devon tells Nate they should get back to the office to run the numbers by Billy and Jill.
Nate says he’s surprised Billy didn’t attend the meeting; was he busy?
Devon says he wasn’t… Nate had been running the numbers, so Devon figured they’d keep the meeting “tight.”
Nate says he’s flattered but wonders how Billy will take the news.
Devon says there’s nothing to take. Sharon didn’t bring her executive team to the meeting, and they didn’t need to have their whole team there either.
Nate says that’s true, but Sharon brought the idea to Devon and Billy in the first place.
Devon says she did, but this is the first of many meetings in the partnership… Billy will be at the next one. He leaves the club.
Nate ponders Devon’s words and looks at Audra and Tucker one last time before leaving.
Tucker tells Audra that Devon’s resolve is impressive… He never even glances his way anymore!
Audra says Tucker says it doesn’t hurt, but he’s not as cold-blooded as he pretends to be.
Tucker says he tried to repair things with Devon, but he can’t force the issue if Devon doesn’t want him in his life. He says Nate couldn’t keep his eyes off Audra and doesn’t think Nate liked Audra hanging out with Tucker at all.
Audra says maybe Nate just hates Tucker.
Tucker says it’s obvious that Nate has a thing for Audra. He asks if Audra was telling the truth about having a fling with Nate.
Audra grins and asks if Tucker really wants to know… That breaks the rules of keeping each other guessing!
Tucker says that only applies to business.
Audra thinks Tucker is jealous of Nate.
Nate says Tucker is younger and better-looking than he is, but he’s still curious why Nate was shooting daggers their way.
Audra says Nate is just a friend. She knows that Tucker doesn’t know what friends are, but friends are protective of each other.
Tucker asks what Nate is protecting Audra from.
Audra says Nate is protecting her from Tucker.
Tucker says Nate doesn’t know that Tucker’s putty in her hands.
Audra says Nate’s concerned that Tucker doesn’t hold any “undue influence” over her.
Tucker asks how much influence Nate wields over her.
Audra says it’s not as much as Tucker.
Tucker smiles, and they kiss.
Society
Adam tells Chelsea he needs to speak to Connor and the school staff because nobody sees fit to include him.
Chelsea says Adam’s ego is bruised because Connor called her first… He’s just a kid!
Adam says he is a kid and shouldn’t be alone in dealing with it.
Chelsea says she wants to go to the school and comfort Connor, too.
Adam asks why she’s fighting him on it; why is she acting like it’s the worst idea in the world to reassure their son? She told him how upset Connor was; Adam needs to see his son and reassure him that everything will be okay.
Chelsea says it’s not about Adam… It’s about Connor, who has been told he needs learning accommodations at a school he attended because he felt different. She says they’re not going to see him because the school says it will make him feel worse and make him feel like he’s in the spotlight, which is the last thing he needs. She apologizes for losing her cool.
Adam says she’s right, and so is the school. It kills him that Connor is overwhelmed and may be depressed. He says not being there for Connor is the worst.
Chelsea says they will be there for Connor when the time is right.
Adam thanks Chelsea for pushing him to see what’s best for their son.
Chelsea says sometimes it’s hard to see what’s best. She hates that Connor sought out the school because of her, but she has to accept that it is right for him.
Adam says he won’t let Chelsea blame herself for Connor’s issues. He was upset that Connor called her first, but it wasn’t because of his ego; he felt he’d let Connor down. If he’d been a better father and was there for him when he was little…
Chelsea says Sally’s right; Connor knows how much Adam loves him, and so does Chelsea. She says she’s surprised to see him come around like he has… In the past, he probably would have dug in harder.
Adam smiles and says he’s working at controlling his “less-productive” tendencies. His phone rings. It’s Connor.
Chelsea tells him to answer and says they should talk to Connor together.
Adam answers the phone and puts it on speaker.
Chancellor-Winters
Billy is waiting in the office when Nate and Devon get back from the Athletic Club. He says he heard they had a meeting with Sharon about finalizing the partnership.
Devon says they did, and it went well. He says Nate has some numbers to review with Billy and Jill so they can get them back to Sharon as soon as possible.
Billy says he should have been part of the meeting, and Sharon agreed that he should have been there. He asks if there’s a reason he was excluded from the meeting.
Devon says he wasn’t excluded on purpose; the meeting came together quickly, and he wanted to “keep the ball rolling.” They didn’t sign any contracts.
Billy says they can’t sign any contracts without him.
Nate says if Billy has any issues with the numbers, they can adjust the contract… Nothing’s set in stone.
Devon says they’re not trying to do anything behind Billy’s back… They told Sharon that they had to run everything by him and Jill. He thinks Billy will be impressed; Nate’s done a fantastic job.
Nate says it’s an exciting venture with lots of potential.
Billy says he’s happy to hear it. He says they’ll chalk it up to a scheduling mishap and asks them to ensure it doesn’t happen again… Keeping Chancellor-Winters strong is all about collaboration.
Devon and Nate agree.
Billy says he doesn’t think they’re clear of Tucker’s threat to the company. He says they need to get the deal done as soon as possible so they can grow big enough that Tucker won’t be able to mess with them. He excuses himself to go to a meeting of his own. He asks them to get the numbers to him as soon as possible. He leaves the office.
The Paris Bistro
Traci tells Ashley she’s not implying there’s a problem with her mental state, but Tucker is “taking up space” in Ashley’s head, and he’s not worth it. She thinks it’d be better for Ashley to move on surrounded by her family. She says staying in Paris is only reminding Ashley of the trauma.
Ashley says Traci’s not wrong… The bistro has “bad energy,” and she can’t wait to be rid of it.
Traci laughs and says she’ll call the jet to take them home.
Ashley says she’s not ready to go… She’s not leaving.
Society
Adam and Chelsea finish their call with Connor, ending with an “I love you.”
Billy walks into the restaurant and asks how Connor is doing.
Chelsea and Billy say he’s doing good. He’s shaky but on board with the school’s plan. He’s doing better than when Chelsea first spoke with him.
Billy’s glad to hear it.
Adam says Connor seemed to relax when he knew other kids faced similar issues.
Chelsea says they’re setting up a schedule to call him so they can check up on him.
Adam nods. They’ll keep it low-key so Connor doesn’t think anything is wrong.
Billy says that sounds like a solid plan. It’s nice to see Adam and Chelsea cooperating to care for their son.
Adam grins and says Billy probably thought he’d drive to Connor’s school and blow up at them.
Billy nods. That’s exactly what he thought.
Chelsea says she was the one who blew up at Adam this time.
Adam says she had good reason to. He tells Billy he’s lucky to have Chelsea in his life. He leaves the restaurant.
Billy tells Chelsea he does know how lucky he is.
Chancellor-Winters
Nate tells Devon he knew about Devon’s personal troubles with Tucker, but he never thought about Tucker coming after Chancellor-Winters. He wonders if Billy was right… Could Tucker be a threat to the company?
Devon says business and family are the same for Tucker. He tries not to worry about things he can’t control but won’t let his guard down. He plans to keep Tucker out of every part of his life, and Tucker knows he’s got his eye on him.
Nate says he doesn’t see Tucker as a threat; Tucker just fired the board at Glissade and replaced them with loyal minions… There’s still damage control for Tucker to do before he focuses his energy elsewhere.
Devon says Tucker thrives on damage control. He thinks they should all stay on alert.
Nate says that having Audra as a friend could be advantageous if Tucker is going to make a move.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Tucker nuzzles up to Audra and kisses her.
Audra grins and says that after such a pleasant lunch, he should tell her his plans for Glissade.
Tucker says patience isn’t her best attribute.
Audra says it’s not Tucker’s, either. She asks him to tell her what his plans are.
Tucker says they agreed that keeping each other guessing was more exciting.
Audra says she doesn’t mind that in the long run, but they’re talking short-term. She must know whether she made a mistake by opening up to him.
Tucker promises she didn’t. They kiss.
The Paris Bistro
Ashley tells Traci she needs to stay in Paris and talk it out with someone.
Traci says she’ll stay with Ashley and will listen to her.
Ashley says she needs Traci to go home. She’s going to stay and talk this out with a friend of hers who is in Paris. She needs peace of mind more than anything.
