Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Ashley’s worst fears were confirmed in Paris, Victor caught Jack leaving Nikki’s office, and Lucy confronted her parents after hearing them declare their love for one another.
Crimson Lights
Billy rushes into the cafe, sits with Chelsea, and apologizes for being late. He asks what she wanted to talk about.
Chelsea says she just talked to Connor and is unhappy that his grades are slipping.
Billy says Connor is one of the smartest kids they know.
Chelsea thinks something’s happening with Connor that’s really affecting his confidence.
Billy says they’ll handle it. He asks if Chelsea has talked to Adam about it.
Society
Adam complains to Sally about Connor’s school. He thinks the school should be more on top of Connor’s academic issues. They should have noticed the change and not let it get to this point.
Sally says the school has a great reputation. She thinks Connor’s just experiencing the regular speed bumps that happen when school gets tougher. She asks how Connor sounded when Adam talked to him.
Adam says he hasn’t talked to Connor; Connor had called Chelsea, and she’d called him. He says Connor doesn’t “feel safe” talking to him.
Newman Media
Victor asks what Jack is doing in Nikki’s office.
Nikki says it’s nothing.
Jack agrees with Nikki. It was nothing.
Victor says Jack has been digging. First, he got the information from Nikki that their family was subjected to an ordeal that was none of his business and then questioned Victor about it. Now, he’s here in the office; why?
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
There’s a knock at Tucker’s door. He calls out, “I’m not here!” The knocks don’t stop, and Tucker throws open the door, frustrated. “What?”
Audra throws her coat at him and says hello.
Tucker tells her it’s not a good time for her to drop by.
Audra says his moods are relentless… What’s wrong?
Tucker says he doesn’t want to talk about it.
Audra says it must be about Ashley… She’s yanking his chain again, and he’s letting it get to him.
They sit down and talk over coffee. Tucker says Ashley went to Paris and confronted the waiter where they had their argument.
Audra asks why he’s not thrilled at the news. Didn’t the waiter tell Ashley that it happened like Tucker had said?
Tucker says the waiter confirmed his version of events, but Ashley called him and accused him of paying the waiter off.
Audra says Tucker is pathetic; she can’t believe he’s still talking about Ashley. She says it’s boring and insulting.
Tucker says it just happened. Of course he didn’t pay off the waiter! He says it’s getting under his skin. He’ll get over it.
Audra says he won’t, and that’s the problem. Ashley will always have a hold on him, one way or another.
Tucker asks why Audra cares so much.
Crimson Lights
Chelsea tells Billy she’s spoken with an advisor at Connor’s school, and Connor may have a “learning difference,” which is at the root of the problem.
Billy says it sounds like the school is working to help Connor.
Chelsea says she feels sorry for Connor because it was his idea to change schools, and he was thriving at first.
Billy says they’ll get him back to that point. The school is supporting Connor, and he’s confident that Connor will do just fine.
Chelsea says Connor sounded sad on the phone. She hopes he isn’t falling into depression again.
Society
Sally tells Adam that Connor loves him. She tells him not to read too much into the fact that Connor went to his mother first. Connor knows that Adam would do anything for him.
Adam says the school should have done more for Connor. He can’t let it go.
Sally says Connor isn’t trying to shut him out.
Adam says he wasn’t around for the years that really matter for kids; Connor’s mistrust of him probably stems from that. Adam lived without a father and got used to it… He’s just carrying on a family tradition; he grew up without a father, and so did Victor.
Newman Media
Jack tells Victor he ran into Nikki at an AA meeting.
Victor asks why Jack was at the same AA meeting as Nikki.
Jack reminds Victor that he had an opioid dependency when he was younger. He says AA is a resource for all kinds of addictions, including pills. He says they ran into each other at the meeting, had coffee, and he walked her back to her office.
Victor asks if Jack has a problem with his concern for his wife.
Jack says he doesn’t but wonders why Victor feels it’s okay to question Jack’s own recovery.
Victor asks Nikki if she should be around Jack… They’re both addicts.
Nikki says Victor should thank Jack. It was sweet for Jack to go with her.
Victor says he’s happy she’s still going to the meetings. He asks what happened to get her so upset today.
Nikki says she thinks Victor’s phone call at Society was about the fire at Jordan’s prison, and he didn’t tell her because he wanted to protect her.
Victor says he didn’t say anything because he didn’t have enough information. He says it’s probably time for Jack to leave.
Nikki thanks Jack for escorting her back from the meeting.
Jack smiles and tells Nikki they should see each other outside of an AA meeting.
Nikki agrees. She says they’ll have lunch together sometime.
Jack says he’d like that. He leaves Nikki’s office and closes the door behind him. He takes a deep breath and leaves.
Victor asks Nikki how she found out about the fire. It must have frightened her!
Nikki says it’s all over the Internet. She says it was shocking; the fire caused a lot of damage. It seems that trouble and chaos follow Jordan wherever she is; now she’s in Nikki’s head!
Victor says Jordan will fade from their lives. He says he doesn’t like Nikki confiding in Jack Abbott.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Audra tells Tucker that he’s fixated on Ashley and has been acting like an idiot when it comes to her.
Tucker says Audra is the fixated one. He asks why she’s so mad about it.
Audra says she left Newman Media for their future.
Tucker laughs and says she’s still sticking to her version where she wasn’t fired.
Audra says she saw the writing on the wall at Newman Media and saw it was a dead end. She doesn’t do dead ends. She says Tucker told her she deserved the world and wanted her to have it, which made her think.
Tucker says she turned him down when he offered it to her.
Audra says she apologized for that.
Tucker says she’s avoiding the question… Why does she care so much about how he feels for Ashley?
Audra says she could rely on Tucker before he got sucked into Ashley’s vortex. She doesn’t think he meant what he’d said before… That Audra was the only one for him, the one who made his heart race. She says he’s desperately hoping Ashley will accept his version of the Paris incident and fall into his arms. It’s insulting to her!
Tucker mumbles something, but Audra cuts him off.
Audra says she’s with him right now but she still doesn’t come first in his life. He’s talking about Ashley… That’s why it matters to her! She tells Tucker he can find someone to jerk around while he dreams about Ashley, his goddess. Audra’s had enough! She gets up to leave.
Tucker tells her not to leave. He’s sorry, and she’s right; it was unfair of him to jerk her around. He meant every word he said about how he feels about Audra, but this “Ashley thing” has a hold on him. He says he’s not pining for Ashley, though.
Audra asks what’s going on if he’s not pining for her.
Tucker says he doesn’t want history to repeat and is afraid it will. He thinks Ashley will reappear, claiming Tucker is trying to punish her. He says it may be petty, but he wants Ashley to confess that she’s the one who’s done wrong so that they can be finished with it.
Audra says Ashley won’t ever do that; she’s called Tucker and accused him of paying off the waiter. She asks if Ashley is right… Did Tucker pay off the waiter?
Crimson Lights
Chelsea tells Billy she wants to go to Connor’s school, hold him, and tell him she’ll take care of any problems he has for the rest of his life.
Billy laughs and says it’s impractical, but he understands her instinct.
Chelsea says Billy’s right; Connor needs to trust his teachers, and he’ll get through it.
Billy asks if Chelsea told Adam that.
Chelsea says she did, and Adam blamed the new school and Connor’s old school, Walnut Grove, for not catching the problem sooner… After that, Adam threatened to go to the school and pull Connor out immediately.
Billy says it’s classic Adam… He wants to start a war, but Connor is going to be the one to get hurt this time.
Society
Adam says he never wanted his son to feel like he deserted him, but here he is… Connor needs him; true to form, he’s not with him.
Sally says he’s talking it through with someone who thinks he’s a wonderful father. She thinks Connor adores him.
Adam wishes Sally had met his mother. He says she was the best mother and wonders why it didn’t rub off on him; he’s a lousy parent!
Sally tells him to stop… She won’t let him beat himself up like this.
Jabot Cosmetics
Diane greets Jack when he enters the office.
Jack glumly kisses her on the head and says hi.
Diane asks if Jack had a tough time with Nikki.
Jack says Nikki was doing fine until Victor showed up.
Diane thinks that couldn’t have gone over well.
Jack says Victor thought he was “up to something” and asked what he was doing in Nikki’s office. He made up a story about how he met Nikki at an AA meeting, and they went for coffee after.
Diane asks if Victor bought his story.
Jack says Victor dropped it, so maybe. He says it’s only a matter of time before Victor figures out he’s Nikki’s sponsor, and it’ll blow up in her face. He keeps trying to convince her, but Nikki says she doesn’t want to appear weak and let Victor down.
Diane says Nikki’s putting Jack in a terrible position.
Jack says it took everything in him to come clean to Victor, but Nikki was there, and he couldn’t betray her… She’s fragile enough as is! He says he could fill a library with bad things he could say about Victor, but there’s no doubt he loves his wife deeply. Jack wishes Nikki would tell Victor what’s going on; she’s freaking out because of the lies she’s telling.
Diane says if Victor finds out about Nikki’s lies, it won’t just blow up in her face… It’ll blow up in Jack’s face, too, and the “epic battle” between Jack Abbott and Victor Newman will start again!
Newman Media
Nikki asks Victor if he’s learned anything about the fire at Jordan’s prison.
Victor says he hasn’t learned anything new. He says he doesn’t want Nikki to let Jordan drive her to drink. He promises Jordan won’t hurt her anymore.
Nikki thinks Jordan might have set the fire in order to escape.
Victor says if Jordan tries to do anything to Nikki or their family, Jordan won’t live long enough to regret it!
They sit down on the couch. Nikki says Victor is always confident he’ll win, no matter the situation.
Victor says he always wins… And so will Nikki. He says she can lean on him if she needs strength. He kisses her and says he’ll take her home.
Nikki says she can’t go home. She’s got a lot of work since Audra is gone!
Victor says he’ll make a few phone calls and will find a replacement for her.
Nikki says she’s already looking into a few candidates. She wants to personally vet each one to make sure they’re compatible. She says she’s fine and needs to work; Victor, of all people, should understand that!
Victor grins and says he does. He kisses her and says he’ll be in his office if she needs him. He reminds her to come to him if she needs anything. He leaves her office.
Jabot Cosmetics
Diane tells Jack that Victor may be charismatic and charming, but she’s seen how he can be when he’s angry.
Jack nods. They’ve both seen Victor’s anger up close.
Diane says she can’t believe she was married to Victor.
Jack laughs and says he can’t believe he was married to Nikki, but now the four of them are with the partners they should be!
Diane agrees. She says Jack and Nikki have remained close, unlike Victor and her. She says maybe Victor will surprise Jack and be as dedicated to keeping the peace as Jack is, for Nikki’s sake.
Jack says it’d be easier if Nikki confessed Jack’s role as her sponsor. Maybe she told him after Jack left. He decided to text her and find out.
Diane doesn’t look convinced but says it can’t hurt.
Jack pulls out his phone and sees that he got a voicemail from Traci.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker tells Audra he didn’t bribe the waiter, and he didn’t trash the cafe. He says Ashley won’t let up, and he’s sick of it. He says Ashley was told the truth, but she’s still acting like she’s the injured party.
Audra tells him she’s done listening to him obsess over Ashley. She tells him that it’s time for him to pick a side… Either he cuts Ashley out of his life, or he’ll never see Audra again!
Crimson Lights
Billy tells Chelsea he should stop giving his opinion on the matter; he can’t be objective when it comes to Adam.
Chelsea says Billy never said anything shocking; he doesn’t want Adam to fly off the handle and make things worse for Connor. She trusts that Adam loves Connor but doesn’t trust that Adam won’t make a rash decision without thinking it through first. She told Adam that they need to stay calm and try not to make things worse for Connor.
Billy wonders if Adam will listen to her.
Chelsea laughs and says probably not; Adam is most likely already on his way to Connor’s school!
Society
Sally tells Adam she thinks he’s a great dad; he’s supportive and not selfish. He didn’t send Connor away! Connor chose the school because he thought it’d be right for him, and even though the school is miles away, Adam showed him that he respected Connor’s wishes and has been in contact with him ever since.
Adam says it’s not enough… He misses his son. He wonders if his son will want to see him in a few years.
Sally says it would have meant the world to her if either of her parents had cared enough to show up and stand by her the way Adam is standing up for Connor. She knows Adam matters to Connor.
Adam smiles and takes Sally’s hand.
Jabot Cosmetics
Jack and Diane listen to Traci’s voicemail, which tells them that Ashley has disappeared and asks him to call her if he hears from her. Jack looks through his phone and curses when he doesn’t find any recent text message or missed calls from Ashley.
Diane thinks Ashley must be “shaken to the core” by the waiter’s revelation.
Jack says the waiter confirmed Tucker’s version of the story. He wonders how it’s possible.
Diane says there are only two ways she can imagine this scenario happening… Either Ashley is misremembering, or Tucker has paid off the waiter to back up his story.
Jack doesn’t think Ashley is misremembering.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker tells Audra he doesn’t react well to ultimatums; she knows him better than that.
Audra says she knows him better than he knows himself.
Tucker says she must understand why he’s conflicted.
Audra says he’s conflicted because he’s too stubborn to admit that Ashley is a fantasy, an imaginary ideal that Tucker refuses to let go of. She says Ashley isn’t Tucker’s reality… Audra is, or at least that’s what he keeps telling her! She says Tucker’s clinging to Ashley because he can’t stand to lose. She says he needs to deal with it here and now because he is losing; he’s losing Audra! She turns to leave.
Tucker tells her not to go.
Audra says he needs to make a choice.
Tucker runs his hands through Audra’s hair and kisses her tenderly.
Their clothes come off, and they make out passionately, falling onto the bed.
Afterward, Tucker and Audra lie in each other’s arms. Tucker says, “I choose you.”
They kiss.
Crimson Lights
Chelsea says she’s glad she didn’t see Connor while she was upset. She thanks Billy for talking her down. She’s concerned about what Adam might do while protecting his son.
Billy tells her they’ll handle it together.
Chelsea says Billy’s really good for her.
Billy says they’re good for each other.
Chelsea’s phone rings. It’s Adam.
The Paris Cafe / Jabot Cosmetics
Jack calls Traci. She answers, and he asks if she’s heard from Ashley yet.
Traci says Ashley called her a few minutes ago and apologized for running out on her. Ashley said she needed time alone to process and plan.
Jack wonders what Ashley meant by “process and plan.”
Traci doesn’t know. She says Ashley is on her way to meet her at the bistro.
Jack wonders if it’s a good idea for Ashley to revisit the cafe. Is she hoping to get a different answer from someone else on staff?
Traci doubts she’d get a different answer.
Jack says Diane had thought that Tucker paid off the waiter.
Traci says Ashley thought the same thing and is trying desperately to believe it.
Jack doesn’t think Traci sounds convinced.
Traci says she’s unsure of anything right now and will investigate on her own. She’ll keep Jack posted!
Jack tells her to be careful and safe; they’re dealing with Tucker! They end the call. Jack tells Diane that a part of him wants to fly to Paris to be there for his sisters, but he knows that Nikki needs him in town right now.
Newman Enterprises
Victor enters his office and closes the door behind himself. He takes a seat and makes a call to his security team.
Victor tells his security lead to keep an eye on his wife and ensure she’s safe. He says that they also need to watch for Jordan since they don’t know her whereabouts.
Newman Media
Nikki is in her office when her phone rings. It’s a call from an unknown number.
Nikki goes pale and drops the phone. She flashes back to answering harassing calls from Jordan from an unknown number.
Her phone keeps ringing, and Nikki’s hands begin to shake as she tries to ignore it. Finally, she can’t take it anymore. She throws her paperwork from her desk and buries her hands in her face in despair.

Danny sees Christine for the first time since she saw him kissing Phyllis.
Victor and Jack find Nikki drunk at a dimly lit bar.
