Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Adam & Chelsea learned they might be triggers for Connor’s OCD, while Billy wanted to lead the company with Lily.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
From the washroom, Tucker calls out and invites Audra to join him in the shower. He promises it’ll be worth her while.
Audra flashes back to when Tucker had asked her to marry him. She had wondered if he was trying to prove something by proposing to her. She looks at her empty ring finger and reaches for the ring box beside her bed. She takes a look at the ring and puts the box down.
The GCAC Lobby
Ashley (Ash) enters the club wearing pink lipstick and sits down at the bar. She looks at the messages that Traci sent to her, and deletes them. In her head, Ash’s voice says that she needs to find Tucker and scare him off… It’s the only way to protect Ashley before she takes control back and does something stupid!
Ashley orders a ginger ale from the server, then changes her mind and switches her order to a martini.
Society
Chance joins Summer at a table. He says it was pretty tense at the office today.
Summer asks if he wants to talk about it or whether they should order drinks instead.
Chance says there’s something they need to discuss first.
The Tack House at Newman Ranch
Claire and Victoria enter the tack house and put some boxes on the counter. Claire is overjoyed… She has a real home with her mom and siblings that she can’t wait to meet. She says she’ll be asking for a puppy next.
Victoria seems distracted.
Claire places a plant where it’ll get good light. She says it’s beautiful when it blooms.
Victoria is glad Claire is so happy.
Claire says it’s her dream but doesn’t think it’s Victoria’s dream.
The Newman Ranch House
Nikki puts the bottle of vodka she’d just drank from into her purse and pops a breath mint.
Victor calls out and asks if she’s okay.
Nikki says she’s fine.
Victor walks up and tells her not to lie to him… He knows what’s going on; Larry told him that someone had bought her some vodka at Society.
Nikki says it was “terrifying.” She was with Jack, and a man ordered a glass of vodka for her and left the restaurant.
Victor asks if anyone recognized the man.
Nikki says the staff had never seen him before, and Larry was looking for Jordan, not a man. Jack tried to track the man down but had no luck. She’s convinced that Jordan is behind it.
Victor asks Nikki if she would have told him about the man buying her booze if Larry hadn’t mentioned it to him. He says they agreed to be open with each other.
Nikki says she doesn’t want to be a burden.
Victor says she’s never a burden to him; her well-being is all that matters to him. He says he doesn’t want her going out alone; he’s going to double security!
Nikki wonders if that’ll help since they know Jordan has someone else working with her. How much longer are they supposed to go on like this?
Victor says it’s going to end now. They’re going on vacation, and there will be a plan in place to stop Jordan.
Nikki says she’s not going on vacation.
Society
Summer leaves a voicemail for Daniel, saying she can’t believe he was fired and to call her when he can. After she ends the call, she tells Chance that Daniel could have handled the situation with Heather better, but she can’t believe Lily retaliated by firing Daniel and Heather… It feels unfair!
Chance says it’s bigger than just that… The repercussions of them being fired will be felt through the whole company. He says Daniel is OmegaSphere, and he thinks Chancellor-Winters will take a big hit without him at the helm.
Summer asks if Chance is sorry he left the police force to work at Chancellor-Winters.
Chance says he’s not, but he’s sorry that he took up a lot of their “beautiful evening” by talking shop. Let the date begin!
Summer says he can relax now, though she’s sensing his stress level is high. She has an idea on how to ease his tension, though…
Chance asks if she’s going to put him on a rollercoaster.
Summer says he said he wanted a rain check, but she has a better idea. She tells him to follow her. She gets up and leaves the restaurant, and Chance follows.
Tucker’s Suite
Tucker calls for Audra from the washroom but receives no response. He walks out in his housecoat and sees that Audra isn’t in the room.
The GCAC Dining Room
Ashley sits at the bar, eats an olive from her martini, and takes a sip of the drink. “Ugh! It’s so gross!” She wonders why anybody would drink a martini, but she does her best and downs it.
Audra walks into the dining room and sees Ashley sitting at the bar and exclaims that’s just what she needs. She turns around to head back upstairs.
Ashley calls after her and gestures her over. She says she needs to talk to Tucker; it’s important!
Audra asks if Ashley is “for real.” She says she’s unbelievable.
Ashley says she needs to talk to Tucker, that’s all.
Audra says Ashley needs to get it through her head that Tucker is done with her. She can arrange a public humiliation if that’s what it’ll take!
Tucker’s Suite
Tucker finishes getting dressed and heads to the side table, where he spies the ring box. He opens it and sees the ring is still there.
The GCAC Dining Room
Ashley tells Audra she doesn’t want anyone to be humiliated.
Audra says Ashley’s doing it all by herself.
Ashley says she’s not who Audra thinks she is.
Audra is pretty sure she knows who Ashley is.
Ashley says she needs to find Tucker and warn him.
Audra asks what she needs to warn Tucker about. She says Ashley’s making a fool of herself.
Ashley says, “It’s not me, it’s her. She’s pretending she loves him, but she doesn’t!” Ashley says “she” thinks it’s the only way to protect Ashley, but she’s wrong.
Audra asks what “she” she’s talking about… She’s Ashley.
Ashley says she’s trying to tell her… She needs to find Tucker; it’s important!
Audra says Tucker is right… Ashley is losing her mind.
Ashley says that’s not cool… Audra has no idea what “she” is planning! Her face goes blank as she hears voices in her head. The voice (Ms. Abbott) tells “Ash” to stop and not say another word, or she’ll shut her down. Ashley says, “No.”
Audra asks what she means by “No.” She says Ashley is freaking her out.
Ashley begs Audra to keep Tucker away from “her.”
Audra asks who she means by “her.”
Ashley clutches at her head and her expression changes. She’s not “Ash” anymore.
The Tack House
Victoria tells Claire that this is her dream, too. She wants nothing more than to build a home with Claire under their own roof.
Claire asks if Victoria’s okay… She doesn’t seem fully “here.”
Victoria says she is, but she can’t help but think of the home she lost, and she hasn’t had a chance to let it sink in yet.
Claire says she’s sorry; she never thought about that.
Victoria tells her not to apologize. She says that she built so many memories in her house, but now there’s nothing but ashes. She’s worried about how hard it will be on her children to lose the only home they’ve ever known, and she didn’t realize it would be so hard on her, either.
Claire says she can’t imagine what Victoria has lost, but she’d love to hear about Victoria’s home.
The Newman House
Victor can’t believe Nikki doesn’t want to go on vacation with him.
Nikki says she was talking to Jack about it and realized that if they leave town, Jordan wins.
Victor says he doesn’t give a damn what Jack Abbott thinks… It’s none of his business!
Nikki says it’s her decision. They’re going to stay so that Jordan won’t declare victory, and Victoria reminded her that Jordan might focus on Claire if Nikki leaves town… Nikki wouldn’t be able to forgive herself, and neither would Victor!
Victor says Victoria and Claire are safe in the tack house.
Nikki says he can’t confine them to the property, and Nikki doesn’t want to put their safety at risk, so she’s come up with a plan.
Victor asks what her plan is.
Nikki says they’ll throw a spectacular anniversary party, and when Jordan hears about it, she won’t be able to help herself… She’ll try to sneak in and wreak havoc, but they’ll have so much security, she’ll be outnumbered!
Victor doesn’t like it. He doesn’t want “some psycho” destroying their celebration!
Nikki says Jordan’s already destroyed enough of their lives… It’s worth it to finally stop her!
Summer’s GCAC Suite
Summer and Chance enter her room and immediately embrace and kiss. She tells him to take his shirt off; she’s going to give him a massage!
Chance says she doesn’t have to tell him twice. He removes his shirt with her help and climbs onto the bed.
Summer rubs his back and shoulders.
After a minute, Chance rolls over and says he thinks he should reciprocate. He starts undoing her blouse.
Summer says she doesn’t need a massage.
Chance laughs and says he has other things in mind. They kiss.

The Newman House
Victor tells Nikki to trust him… He’s going to get Jordan, and there will be justice.
Nikki asks if that means he has a plan of his own.
Victor says there are several options.
Nikki says he told her they needed to be open and honest, and that goes both ways. She says the whole mess is her fault, and this is her way to make amends.
Victor says there’s no need… He’s on it!
Nikki says she wants to take her life back and be in control of her sobriety. She wants to be part of the plan to bring Jordan down for good. She says they won’t even know they’ve infiltrated the party until she’s apprehended, so while she’s in custody, they’ll be celebrating their life and love with their family and friends.
The GCAC Dining Room
Audra tells Ashley (Ms. Abbott) she doesn’t want to argue with her about anything. Nothing Ashley says makes any sense!
Ashley says Audra loves to talk. She says she had a couple of martinis and forgot to eat… No big deal.
Audra asks if Ashley is on medications… Is this some kind of drug interaction with the alcohol?
Ashley says she’s not on meds… The drinks just went to her head.
Audra says Ashley wasn’t being herself, and she’s not sure who she is right now.
Ashley sarcastically says Audra knows her so well.
Audra says she knows Ashley wasn’t acting normally, but now she’s back to being a complete… She cuts herself off and says it’s none of her business.
Ashley says she’s blowing this out of proportion.
Audra says Ashley needs to go home and talk to her family.
Ashley sneers. She’s not going to do that. She says they should keep their “silly little conversation” between themselves.
Audra figures Ashley doesn’t want Tucker to know about it.
Tucker walks into the dining room and greets them, looking warily at Ashley. He asks what’s going on.
The Tack House
Victoria brings out a couple of mugs and tells Claire about her burned-down house. She says they knew they had to have it when she and Billy saw it; it was straight out of “Father Knows Best.” She figures Claire is too young to know about the show.
Claire says it sounds like a show about “happy family hijinks.”
Victoria laughs and says it was a cozy, old-fashioned house in a neighborhood where you could borrow sugar from a neighbor. She says she’d already pictured Claire living in the house… They’d sit around the games table with Johnnie and Katie when they got home from boarding school. She says the holidays were great there, and Claire would have hung her stocking next to everyone else in their family.
Claire says it would have been perfect. She asks if Victoria would rebuild the house.
Victoria says it wouldn’t be the same. She cries over the memories that were there.
Claire says she’s sorry that Jordan has taken another thing from them.
Victoria says Claire shouldn’t have to talk about Jordan anymore… She doesn’t deserve their thoughts. Claire is home with her family now, and that’s all that matters. She gives Claire a key to the house. “Welcome home.”
Claire grins broadly and thanks her. It’s just a key, but it means so much to her.
Victoria says she gets to pick a room now. She’s the oldest and has first dibs on which room she wants!
Claire laughs and says she hopes there are bookshelves in the room. She picks up some books and smiles.
Victoria asks if those are the books she gave Claire in the hospital.
Claire nods. They’re her most treasured possessions.
They hug, and Victoria says it’s starting to feel like home already.
The Newman House
Victor says they’ll have a party, but he wants the party so that Nikki can focus on something other than Jordan. They need to celebrate being together for 40 years!
Nikki says their relationship was on and off, so 40 years is a bit misleading.
Victor doesn’t give a damn! He’s loved her all these years, and she’s in his heart!
Nikki says he’s a romantic and always has been. She says if he wants to go big, they should do it… They’ll bring Jordan down! What could be a better tribute to their love?
The GCAC Dining Room
Audra tells Tucker that he was right… Something is off with Ashley. She says the things Ashley said weren’t making any sense.
Ashley laughs and says Audra is a drama queen; she had a martini with no food.
Audra says it’s strange that she’s suddenly sober now. She thinks Ashley might be faking it; maybe it’s part of her “sick game” or something.
Tucker nods. He asks Ashley what’s going on.
Ashley says “Tucker’s girlfriend” is blowing everything out of proportion. She says Audra’s twisting their “silly” conversation so she can mark her territory.
Tucker asks if Ashley has talked to a therapist yet.
Ashley says it’s adorable how he worries about her; she’s starting to think she should worry about him.
Tucker says that’s not an answer.
Ashley says there’s no point in trying to have a conversation with either one of them. She’s leaving! She tells Audra to do the world a favor and get a sense of humor. She leaves the club.
Audra clenches her fists and growls. She says that she was afraid for Ashley after what she’d said… And she was afraid for Tucker, too.
Tucker tells her to tell him everything that was said.
Summer’s Suite
Chance and Summer are undressed as they cuddle in bed and kiss. Chance says he never asked how Summer’s day was.
Summer says her day was pretty low-key. She worked from the Abbott house so she could keep her eye on Harrison. She says she and Kyle are switching off Harrison-watching duty until they find a full-time nanny.
Chance says it’s nice that she and Kyle are working together and keeping it civil.
Summer nods. She says it’s like Chance and Abby… Things aren’t always amazing, but they can work together for their children’s best interests.
Chance says he’s glad they have a nanny… He couldn’t imagine working with Dominic in his office since Dominic wants to be a drummer and is dedicated to his craft!
Summer laughs and says it’d be distracting.
Chance says he’s distracted by watching Dominic play… He’s sweet.
Summer says Chance is a good daddy.
Chance says he’s “papa,” and Devon is “daddy.”
Summer says she has to enjoy her time with Harrison before he decides he’s to old to call her “mommy.”
Chance says until that day comes… They still need a nanny for Harrison.
Summer says that, unfortunately, the only person Harrison has responded to isn’t safe to be around… For anyone.
The Newman House
Nikki tells Victor he’s concerned about her and the family’s safety, but their security team is all over things. They already know how Jordan operates, so they’ll be ready for her, and this will finally be over.
Victor asks if this is what she really wants.
Nikki assures him it is. She thinks that Victor has something planned already.
Victor says they’ll make it work, then. He says he has to make a few phone calls to make sure they can pull this off. He says once they start, there’s no going back.
Nikki says the only thing she’s more sure of is how much she loves him. She kisses him, and they hug.
Victor grins and says they will have a party to end all parties… In more ways than one! They kiss again, and Victor leaves the room to make some phone calls.
Nikki watches him leave and rushes to her purse. She pulls out the bottle of vodka and takes a quick swig.
Victoria calls out.
Nikki puts the bottle back in her purse and makes herself presentable as Victoria and Claire walk in. Nikki asks how they’re settling in at the tack house.
Victoria laughs and says it’s going to be amazing.
Nikki says to let her know if they need anything.
Victoria says Nikki should be packing for her romantic getaway and assumes she’s going somewhere tropical.
Nikki says there’s been a change of plans. She’ll eventually take a trip with Victor, but right now, they want to focus on the party.
Victoria tells Claire it will be her first Newman party as a Newman.
Claire can’t wait. She asks if there’s anything she can do to help; she’d love to pitch in!
Victoria says 40 years is something to celebrate, but worries that having a big party may not be the best idea… It may attract Jordan. She wonders if they should take that chance.
Nikki says she and Victor aren’t going to let Jordan have power over them anymore, and they’re going to celebrate it.
Victoria worries that Jordan might sneak into the party.
Nikki says she hopes that Jordan does sneak into the party.
Summer’s GCAC Suite
Chance tells Summer she may have doubts about Claire, but it seems the rest of the Newman clan has accepted her.
Summer shrugs. More or less.
Chance says Claire is staying at the ranch, and if Victor Newman doesn’t see her as a threat, he’s probably right.
Summer says she can’t help but look at Claire and see the woman who tried to kill her dad, her grandparents, and her aunt.
Chance says someone brainwashed Claire.
Summer doesn’t think that’s an excuse. How do they know she’s cured? She could still be a threat to the Newman family, and that’s enough for Summer not to trust her around her son—unless Claire is completely sane, and Summer’s the one who’s being a jerk!
Chance says he’s sensing that she’s the one who’s stressing now. He suggests they go downstairs and get a round of those drinks they never ordered earlier.
Summer thinks that’s a great idea; the last thing she wants to do right now is think about her cousin Claire.
The Newman House
Victoria is incredulous that her mom and dad want to spend their 40th anniversary by laying a trap for Jordan.
Nikki says she can’t think of a better way of celebrating.
Victoria tells Claire she can probably tell that the Newman family isn’t a normal family.
Claire laughs and says the Newmans may not be normal, but they’re smart, strong, and put family first. She’s thrilled to be part of the family.
Victoria tells her mom that she and Claire are heading to the jazz lounge. Would Nikki like to join them?
Nikki tells Claire she’ll love the lounge… The man it honors was a very special friend of theirs, and she thinks a lovely evening at the jazz club is what they all need right now.
Victor walks in and says he thinks it’s a lovely idea… They should take Cole along with them.
Victoria nods and says they’re going to the tack house to get changed. She and Claire leave the house.
Victor tells Nikki he’s got another phone call to make… He’ll be right back. He leaves the room.
Nikki wanders over to her purse with a thoughtful look on her face.
The GCAC Dining Room
Audra and Tucker sit on a sofa and talk. Audra tells Tucker she tried to avoid Ashley, but Ashley was insistent about talking to her. She says Ashley was acting frantic and was saying things that didn’t make sense… Things like, “She’s out to get you.”
Tucker wonders who the “she” was that Ashley was referring to… Was it Ashley herself?
Audra isn’t sure… She says Ashley kept talking about herself in the third person and told Audra to keep Tucker away from “her” because she’d hurt him.
Tucker asks how “she” was going to hurt him.
Audra shrugs. She has no idea. She says it was strange when Tucker showed up… Ashley “pulled it together” and claimed she was drinking too much and was just messing with her.
Tucker says she might have been.
Audra says Tucker doesn’t believe that any more than she does.
Ashley’s GCAC Suite
Ashley enters her suite and mutters under her breath. “This has to stop.”
She sits down on the couch and says she needs to keep “that kid” in line before she ruins everything.
Ashley closes her eyes and concentrates. She appears in a white room with three beds in it.
Each bed has a different Ashley lying on it.
One of the Ashleys sits up and yells at the “youngest” Ashley.
“Wake up! We have to get something straight, you little brat!”

Daniel looks like a young kid with long greasy hair. I wish he would cut his hair so that it would look like he’s a Dad.
They need to conclude some of the story lines which are becoming repetitive and boring….e.g Ashley, Jordan, Nikki ‘s drinking….this is all history repeating itself.
I have been against the Dummer Chance hook up from the beginning. It is time for it to STOP! All it is is boring waste of time FILLER occupying film space that could be occupied by more interesting scenes which actually move a story or stories ALONG rather than requiring the viewers(those not interested in the same old boring hook up activities) to press “mute and or fast forward on their remote control devices.
Cmon writers, GIVE the characters, especially CHANCE, something more INTERESTING to do.(Summer can DISAPPEAR into a soap opera VOID for all I care)
