Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Phyllis turned herself in to the police as she struck a deal with Tucker and got a new lawyer.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor pours himself a drink and sits down at his chess table, looking dejected.
Nikki walks in and asks him what’s wrong.
Victor says their family is fractured, and it’s the beginning of a downward slope. He’s done everything he can to bring the family together, but nothing has worked so far.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Adam walks in and sees Nick having a drink at the bar. He sits down beside his brother and orders a neat single malt.
Nick tells Adam to leave Sharon alone and to stop dragging her down.
Crimson Lights
Chance comes into the coffee shop and sees Sharon is closing up.
He says that Sharon might be interested to know that he just arrested Phyllis, who turned herself in.
Newman’s GCAC suite
Nate and Victoria lie in bed, having just had sex.
They talk about how they came upstairs because they couldn’t resist each other.
Nate says it means more to him than “just sex in a hotel suite”.
Victoria feels the same way, and she wanted to talk to him about it. She asks him what he wants from their relationship.
The Newman Ranch House
Nikki asks Victor what’s making him feel this way.
Victor says Victoria has been very controlling. She didn’t buy McCall when he asked her, and she’s pushed Nick out of the company.
He says that Nick should join Adam at McCall.
Sharon says that would happen in a perfect world.
Victor says Adam is a problem child who feels isolated since he lost the baby… It makes Victor sad that Adam feels like an outsider.
Victor feels that he’s given his children too much rein.
Nikki says she doesn’t like where this is going.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Nick tells Adam it’s not a good idea to work with Sharon… Adam has put her through hell through the years.
Adam asks why Nick’s down in the lounge… Shouldn’t he be with Sally?
Nick says that Sally can take care of himself. He says it’s not about the women in their life but their relationship as brothers.
Adam says that he had to give up an organ to Faith for Nick even to be civil to him. He says they’re just trying to appease their father.
Crimson Lights
Sharon jokes around with Chance as she makes him a coffee. She asks how Phyllis acted after being on the run for months.
Chance says Phyllis seemed contrite.
Sharon says that Michael must have told her to act that way. She asks how much trouble Phyllis is in on a scale of 1-10.
Chance says on a scale of 1 through 10, Phyllis’s troubles are a 13. He says Phyllis’s lawyer implied they have a “stay out of jail card”.
Sharon says that must have gotten Chance’s radar up. She hands him a coffee, and he takes a drink, saying it’s nice.
Chance takes the coffee and goes to sit down at a table with it. He sees documents Sharon left on the table with Cameron Kirsten’s name on it.
Sharon tells him Cameron left her his company, and she’s the new owner.
Newman’s GCAC Suite
Lying in bed together, Nate says he wants to work alongside Victoria every day. He says they’re unstoppable and can crush the competition.
Nate tells Victoria there’s nothing they can’t overcome together… And the sex is great.
Victoria says he’s put some thought into their future.
Nate says he’s sincere. He compliments Victoria’s eyes and says that his path ahead is crystal clear.
Victoria says Nate wants it all.
Nate says she does too, and they kiss passionately.
The Newman Ranch House
Nikki tells Victor he’s shown restraint by letting his children live their own lives.
Victor says that Victoria tossed her own brother aside in order to allow Nate in. Victor doesn’t trust Nate.
Victor figures he’s been too easy on everyone and is going to put an end to it.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Nick tells Adam they’ve agreed they can give up on each other.
Adam says they don’t have to like each other just because they’re brothers.
Nick says that their father still wants him to work with Adam.
Adam laughs and says with Victoria’s “boy toy” taking over Nick’s job, it doesn’t surprise him.
Nick says that he’d rather keep an eye on Adam rather than Sally or Sharon.
Adam says that Sharon came to him with a business proposition.
Nick says that Adam talked him out of it.
They both get a group message from Victor… “Come to the Ranch. Now. Urgent.”
Newman’s GCAC Suite
Nate and Victoria get the same message as Nick and Adam about meeting at the ranch.
Nate wonders what’s going on.
Victoria calls Victor and asks him what he wants to meet about.
Victor tells her that he wants them to come to the ranch… And to bring Nate with her. He hangs up.
Victoria tells Nate there isn’t a medical emergency, but he’s calling a meeting.
Nate figures it must be about Newman.
Victoria thinks it can’t be good that Victor’s getting everyone together.

The Newman Ranch House
Nick walks in and asks Nikki and Victor if they’re ok.
Nikki says they’re fine.
Nick asks why Victor called the meeting.
Adam comes in and says that it’s part of Victor’s futile plan to get Adam to hire Nick at “Adustus International”.
Nick asks what Adustus is.
Victor says it’s Latin for “Singed and burnt.”
Adam says he prefers to think of it as “Scorched earth”, which is how he plans to run the company, as Victor is trying to manipulate him and control his future.
Victor says that’s all going to stop tonight.
Victoria and Nate walk in.
The GCAC
Audra gets a message from Nate. “Something up with Victor and Newman. Stay close. Will keep you posted.”
Tucker is sitting at the bar in the restaurant and sees Audra. He smiles and says it looks like there’s something up.
Audra asks Tucker why he’s in such a good mood.
Tucker says the stars have aligned, and he’d like to buy her a drink to celebrate.
Crimson Lights
Chance can’t believe Cameron left Sharon his company.
Sharon says it was a shock to her too… At first, she questioned it, but then she realized she could do something good with the company.
Chance says she must have a plan for the company.
Sharon says she does. She’s going to revitalize the company, and it’s doing the same for her; she hasn’t felt so energized in a long time.
She says the company still generates revenue, and she’s seen an opportunity to turn evil into good.
Chance says he’s never seen her like this.
Sharon says she approached Adam to merge their companies since McCall Unlimited’s streaming service relies on Kirsten’s proprietary software.
Chance says that her joy is infectious. They get closer, and Chance kisses her.
Sharon responds, and they kiss passionately. She begins unbuttoning his shirt and then tells him to wait a moment.
Sharon locks the door and turns off the lights. She comes back and kisses Chance again, and Chance undoes her shirt.
She says they should go to her office, and he agrees. They rush into the back room.
The GCAC
Audra tells Tucker they’re not on the best terms anymore.
Tucker hugs her and asks what she wants to drink.
Audra says she wants something red.
Tucker orders some wine and jokes around.
He says he has some advice for Audra… She has to throw away the past and get rid of her bad karma, just like he did. He’s glad to be free of McCall Unlimited.
The bartender hands them their drinks.
Tucker says, “The world is mine!” as he clinks his glass with Audra’s in a toast.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor says he’s given everyone too much rein. He says Victoria didn’t want to run McCall like he wanted, but then she pushed her brother out of the company to bring in Nate.
Victor tells Nate he sees promise in him but he doesn’t trust him after what he’s seen him do to his family.
Victor says that Adam is using McCall to come after Newman Media, and he’s had enough… It’s time that Victor calls the shots and lays down the law, and everyone will do what he asks them to.
The GCAC
Audra tells Tucker he’s drunk and rambling.
Tucker says he’s a bit giddy because he’s so “frikkin’ happy.”
Audra says he’s avoiding telling her exactly what’s making him so happy. She wonders what the catalyst for all this joy is.
Tucker says he can’t tell her what makes him so happy because he doesn’t want to jinx it.
Audra says he’s a “new Tucker” and that he seems to be evolving. She says she’s happy for him, and her future looks promising too.
Tucker asks why her future is promising.
Audra’s phone pings; it’s Kyle sending a text. “Free for a drink and… other things?”
Tucker looks over her shoulder and laughs, seeing Kyle’s name and the message. He says Kyle’s not what he’d call a “promising future”.
Crimson Lights
Chance and Sharon kiss each other all over as they get undressed.
Chance picks her up and carries her to the couch, where they make out passionately.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor says that starting tomorrow, Nick will help Adam run Adustus and make it into a strong, vital company.
Nate will continue as COO under Victoria, and once Adustus is a success, they will make it a subsidiary of Newman Enterprises, as it should always have been.
Adam says they had an agreement.
Victor says he doesn’t give a damn about their past agreements. He wants an answer now.
Nick says he’s fine with it.
Victoria says Victor hasn’t given her much choice.
Victor asks what Adam’s thoughts are.
Adam doesn’t say a word as he gets up and leaves the house.
The GCAC
Audra asks Tucker what he means about Kyle.
Tucker says Kyle’s very handsome, but he doesn’t have much for Audra to sink her teeth into.
Audra says she sees more in Kyle than Tucker does… In fact, she hired him to work with her at Newman Media.
Tucker asks if she hired Kyle after her roll in the hay with him.
Audra just smiles, wishes him a good night, and thanks him for the drink.
She sends Kyle a text message to meet her. “My suite. Half an hour?”
Newman Enterprises
Victoria pours Nate a drink and smiles.
Nate asks Victoria if things went as planned.
Victoria says they have McCall Unlimited without bloodshed, and Adam is gone.
She says that she could have done without all the scolding from Victor, but otherwise, everything is perfect. They clink glasses in a toast.
Crimson Lights
Chance and Sharon snuggle on the couch in her office.
Chance says things didn’t go as he had thought when he first arrived at the coffee shop earlier that night.
There’s a knock on the front door.
Chance calls out that they’re closed.
The knocking continues, insistent.
Sharon picks up her phone and sees two missed calls from Adam.
The Newman Ranch House
Nick tells Victor he hasn’t seen him so worked up in a while.
Victor thanks Nick for going along with his wishes.
Nick says that if Adam goes along with Victor’s demands, he’ll be more volatile than ever.
Victor says he’s done with Adam if he doesn’t get in line.
Crimson Lights
Sharon gets dressed and answers the door.
Adam says he saw her car in the lot so he knew she was there.
He says he’s walked away from McCall, and he’s happy to work with Sharon, but he wants nothing to do with his family or his father.

What I don’t understand is why some of these people are in these actor and actress personal life you can’t make nobody get back together if they don’t want too that up to them and for them to decide not us if they chose ti get back together or not it’s not up to us some of these just don’t understand we have no affect on these actors soap couples yes actors and actress personal life and business no
I’m so tired of “The musical chairs,” no stability! Victoria is being snoody & errogant as usual…
Adam thinks he will run Sharons company…? It will probably get scooped up by Newman anyway!
Victor needs to watch out for Nate & Audra scheming 🤓
I’ve been watching Y & R since 26 March 1973 and the storylines were great when the creators, William Bell/Lee Phillip Bell were writing & monitoring the show. Now the storylines insult the intelligence of the older viewers as if we’ve forgotten exactly what happened years ago or they throw a monkey wrench in the storyline and mess it up! If Adam Newman doesn’t come out on top this time I will NO LONGER watch the show. Adam’s I.Q. is much higher than his half siblings and everyone else’s, the writers NEVER make him happy or have him find some joy in any situation and I’m TIRED OF IT ALL. I would like to see him tell Nicholas to mind his own business and not tell him who he should and should not talk to! I’ll always be TEAM ADAM (Mark Grossman) every day! He’s the most handsome guy on the show!
I agree with Beverly, the writers need to give Adam some success on the show. I’ve had enough of Victoria’s arrogance and hatred for her brother Adam. It’s time to let the mighty beast (Victoria) plummet .
