Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Victor warned Victoria about Adam’s plans, and Chance told Jack his DNA evidence is worthless.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby and Devon have their morning coffee as they talk.
Devon says that he’s been dealing with Lily in NY.
Abby says it’s great that everything worked out with Devon at Chancellor Winters, and she’s happy he didn’t buy Tucker’s company.
Newman Enterprises
Nate tells Victoria that he did some research and found some real issues with McCall that they can take advantage of.
Victoria thanks Nate for his work.
Nick interrupts Nate and Victoria’s discussion and tells Nate that he wants to speak with his sister.
Chancellor Park
Audra meets Tucker in the park and they joke around as they greet each other.
Audra heard that Tucker was sticking around Genoa City. She figures it must be because of Ashley.
Tucker says it sounds like Audra is jealous… Or she’s pretending to be.
Society
Billy and Jack sit and talk about business. Billy gives Jack some details on their sales, and Jack stares off, not listening.
Billy tells Jack that he’s talking to air, there’s no reason to even talk business with him.
Jack finally snaps into it and says that he’s hopeful they can clear Diane’s name, and he’ll be able to get his mind on Jabot.
He asks Billy what the most important thing he should know is before he proceeds.
Billy tells Jack that Ashley may be planning a coup.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby asks Devon if he has any regrets about not taking over Tucker’s company.
Devon says he has no regrets about it. His only regret is he can’t stay with her for the rest of the day.
Abby and Devon kiss, and Abby tells Devon he has to go to work.
As Devon leaves, he sees a bunch of boxes in the hallway in front of Nate and Elena’s place.
He says it looks like Elena and Nate are moving.
Newman Enterprises
Nick watches as Victoria asks Nate to do some research for her, and Nate leaves the office.
Nick tells Victoria they need to talk about some budget issues.
Victoria says she thinks he wants to turn this into another lecture about her and Nate.
Nick says he just “walked in” on her and Nate a minute ago.
Victoria says that they were talking about business.
Nick says he’s just looking out for the company.
Victoria says that it didn’t seem to be a problem when he was dating Sally.
Nick says that was different, Sally was never gunning for his job.
Chancellor Park
Audra wonders why Tucker is still going after Ashley if Ashley doesn’t have the same feelings for him.
Tucker tells Audra that she’s out of the loop… He lives in the Abbott mansion.
Audra says she’s surprised.
Tucker asks how her romantic chase is going with Nate.
Audra says that Nate is smart, hungry, and decisive, and is exactly the partner she wants.
She says that Nate will get her where she wants, and Tucker doesn’t compare to him.
Tucker says she’s forgotten who she’s talking to.
Society
Jack tells Billy he can’t believe Ashley is planning a coup.
Billy says “coup” is his word, not Ashley’s, but she’s been talking about convening the board, and Ashley is concerned about Diane’s influence on Jack.
Jack says he thought that was just an intimidation tactic on Ashley’s part.
Billy says that Ashley is concerned because Jack is involved with Diane.
Jack asks Billy if he thinks the same thing.
Billy doesn’t say anything.
Chancellor Park
Audra tells Tucker that they both got the same thing out of their relationship.
Tucker guesses he’s having a parting of ways with Audra. He wishes her well at Newman Media.
Audra says she wishes him well with Ashley… She guesses.
Tucker warns Audra that she shouldn’t get too cocky, as Nate Hastings can be ruthless. He tells her not to get in Nate’s way.
He kisses her cheek and leaves the park.
Crimson Lights
Devon walks into the cafe and orders a coffee from Sharon.
He sees Elena on the enclosed patio and walks over to say hello.
Devon asks Elena about the boxes outside their apartment door.
Elena tells Devon that those are her belongings, and she’s moved out of Nate’s because she found out that Nate was sleeping with Victoria.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria asks Nick if he really thinks that Nate is after her job.
Nick says that Nate’s track record of deceit and lies tells him everything he needs to know about Nate.
Victoria says that Nate did that at a different company, and it was for Newman Enterprises’ benefit.
Nick says that Nate’s sticking his nose into Newman Enterprises’ business but Nate should be focused on Newman Media.
Victoria tells Nick that he needs to move on. She says there won’t be a repeat of the Ashland Locke situation.
Crimson Lights
Devon tells Elena that she didn’t deserve things to end that way with Nate. He asks how she’s doing.
Elena says that she tried her best to trust Nate, but he just threw it back in her face.
Devon says that Nate must have been caught up in something.
Elena laughs and says that the something that Nate got caught up in was Victoria.
Devon tells Elena that she’s a lot better than Nate in this situation.
Elena says she’s glad to be done with Nate.
She says Nate is swimming with sharks now and he’d better be careful, because the minute that Victoria smells blood in the water, she’s gonna eat him alive.

Crimson Lights
Nick comes into the cafe, still fuming from his talk with his sister.
Sharon asks why he’s all wound up.
Nick says he doesn’t want to talk about it.
Sharon tells Nick that she has something that might cheer him up… She babysat baby Aria last night.
She says that Faith can’t wait to get home as soon as possible to meet the new baby.
Nick asks Sharon what’s up with the bottle of champagne on the shelf behind her. He jokes that she’s turning the coffee shop into a bar.
Audra comes into the cafe and tells Elena that she was just thinking about Nate… It’s driving her crazy.
Elena asks if she expected Nate and Victoria to shout it from the rooftops.
Audra says she wanted to make sure that Elena is safe. She starts talking about how Nate and Victoria hid their relationship from everyone.
Elena says she doesn’t want to hear the “gory details” about Nate and Victoria’s relationship.
Audra backs off and asks if Elena’s interested in payback, or if Elena will just let Nate and Victoria walk away with no consequences.
Chancellor Park
Nate sees Devon in the park and thanks him for inviting him to Neil’s memorial.
Devon asks if Nate was going to tell him about his breakup with Elena.
Nate tries to defend himself, and they bicker for a minute.
Devon says that Nate’s lost his way in life, and maybe the real Nate has finally been unleashed.
Society
Billy tells Jack that he has complete confidence in Jack’s leadership.
He says that Jack’s done a fantastic job and that he’s honored to be able to take some of the pressure off of him.
Billy says he’s not planning a coup, but Ashley is worried that Diane will “want a piece of the Jabot pie”, and will force Jack to give her a leadership position at the company after they get married.
Jack says that Ashley is completely wrong about Diane.
Billy says that he was worried this would be a shoot-the-messenger situation, and was wondering if Jack knows how it looks to the outside world.
Jack asks what he means by that.
Billy says that he made a marriage proposal quickly and publicly to someone who was almost immediately charged with murder.
Jack says he understands now how that could look to someone on the outside. He says he’ll work on things.
Jack gets up and leaves Billy in the restaurant.
Crimson Lights
Elena tells Audra she’s thought about revenge against Nate and Victoria.
Audra asks if Elena is still thinking of bringing JT back to get under Victoria’s skin.
Elena says she’s not sure.
Audra asks if Elena told off Victoria before she left L.A.
Elena says she didn’t, but she managed to throw a drink at Nate. She says she didn’t want to make a scene in a busy restaurant, it’s not her style.
She says she still has a lot to say to Victoria.
Audra says that Victoria is probably still in her office if Elena is looking to say something to her.
Chancellor Park
Nate says that Devon treated him as if he never meant anything to him.
Devon asks Nate why he should trust him. He says that Nate went behind everyone’s back at Chancellor-Winters and tried to sell the company out from under them.
Nate says he just had an epiphany… Devon never knew him at all.
Crimson Lights
Sharon tells Nick that the bottle was delivered without the sender’s name. She says it’s not from Adam, Chance, or any of the kids.
Nick asks how she knows it wasn’t them.
Sharon says that she asked the kids and Chance, and the card said “Memories are what life is made of”, which doesn’t sound like Chance at all.
Nick picks up the bottle. He says it’s a nice vintage and asks about the “smudge of paint” on it.
He says it kind of looks like blood.
Newman Enterprises
Nate comes back into Victoria’s office and closes the door.
He asks what’s wrong with Nick. He says Nick has been treating him like a second-rate citizen.
Victoria tells Nate that Nick thinks that Nate is going for his job.
Nate asks where he’d get an idea like that.
Victoria says Nick has problems getting past Nate’s past.
Nate says he wants to rise to the top, but he’s not looking to push Nick out.
Elena knocks on the door and comes into Victoria’s office.
She says that it’s a surprise to see Nate and Victoria with their clothes on.
Crimson Lights
Sharon asks if Nick thinks it’s really blood on the bottle.
Nick says it’s probably just a wine stain.
Sharon takes a closer look at the bottle and says that on closer inspection, it’s almost for sure a blood stain.
Nick asks what store it was bought from… Maybe they could tell her who bought it.
Sharon says that there was no information about where it was bought.
Nick says she shouldn’t drink it. It’s too suspicious.
Society
Abby hugs Billy and says it’s been a while since she saw him.
Billy laughs and says that there’s a lot of drama going on at the Abbott mansion, and he’s worried about Summer.
He says he’s glad that he doesn’t live there anymore.
Abby says she is worried about the situation as well, and worries that Tucker is on his way to winning Ashley back.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack comes home and yells for Ashley.
Tucker sits on the couch reading and looks up as Jack approaches.
Jack demands to know where Ashley is.
Newman Enterprises
Nate tells Elena they should go elsewhere to talk.
Victoria says Elena should say what she came to say.
Elena says that everyone in town knows about Nate and Victoria’s “dirty little secret”, and that they’re wrecking the company with their tawdry little affair.
Elena goes on to say she’s quitting the podcast and tells them they’re going to let her out of the contract and there will be no non-compete clauses.
Elena tells Nate she’ll be going back to medicine, and that Nate’s job and position don’t mean anything… Victoria and Nate are both pathetic.
Elena turns around and leaves the office.
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker tells Jack that he imagined the manners in the Abbott house would be genteel.
Jack says he doesn’t care for Tucker’s snide remarks.
Tucker tells Jack that even if he did know where Ashley was, he wouldn’t tell Jack, as Jack is too wound up right now.
Jack gets all huffy.
Tucker says that he told Jack not to hurt Ashley, and he won’t let him.
Jack asks him who the hell he thinks Tucker thinks he is, talking to him like that under his own roof.
Tucker tells Jack he needs to back off. He says that Jack knows what Tucker is capable of, and Jack doesn’t want him as an enemy.
Crimson Lights
Nick tells Sharon the bottle is a strange gift and he’d recommend that Sharon airs on the side of caution.
Sharon says it’s starting to seem weird to her now too.
Nick jokingly asks if it’s weird because of the bloodstain. He leaves the coffee shop.
Sharon looks around, with an unknown observer watching from the shadows.
She places the bottle in the garbage as the watching eyes follow her every move.
