Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Michael found Phyllis’s motel, Audra revealed her true motives to Nate, and Summer confronted Daniel about his betrayal.
Crimson Lights
Mariah and Tessa arrive with Aria in her stroller.
Sharon fawns over the baby, who’s been dropped off for Sharon to babysit.
Society
Christine meets with Chance and asks if he has any evidence she can use in court.
She says that if they’re going to win the case, they need some rock-solid evidence.
Chance says he’s working as hard as he can.
Christine says the last thing she ever thought would happen is that Michael would claim that Phyllis is alive.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley asks Tucker how it went with Dominic’s playgroup.
Tucker says it went great, and he’s thinking of continuing with Dominic’s music classes.
Ashley laughs and says that Tucker is really growing… The Tucker she knew would never sit through a toddler’s music class.
Tucker says it’s all because of Ashley’s influence on him.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby and Devon come down from putting Dominic to bed. They talk about how Dominic’s musical play group really tired him out.
Abby says that Tucker really played the role of doting grandpa and that she thought that Tucker might actually want to be a real part of Dominic’s life and Devon’s.
Devon says that anything is possible, maybe Tucker has changed.
Abby says she’d love it to be real, but she worries Tucker has a plan to win Ashley back and screw her over in the process.
Phyllis & Stark’s Motel Room
Jack and Kyle come into the motel room. Jack opened the door with a handkerchief in order to protect against fingerprints.
Kyle asks what they’re looking for.
Jack says he doesn’t know what they’re looking for, but he’ll know when he sees it.
Society
Chance tells Christine that the defense strategy is really strange.
Christine says that most of their evidence is circumstantial.
Chance says that they’re looking into getting phone records for Phyllis’s phone.
Christine asks about the strychnine purchase.
Chance says there’s no evidence that Diane ever picked the poison. He wonders if there’s a possibility of a setup.
Christine wonders if Chance thinks that Phyllis really is alive.
Chance says he’s not sure, but he’s willing to look into all angles.
Christine wonders who in the police department leaked the detail about the scissors.
Chance’s phone rings, and he excuses himself to take the call.
Phyllis & Stark’s Motel Room
Jack tells Kyle that the room was rented to “Spencer Jenkins”.
Kyle laughs and asks how much it cost Jack to come and check the room out.
Jack says he doesn’t know the going rate. He hands Kyle some evidence bags, and they both glove up before they search the room.
Jack says they just need to find DNA evidence to show that Phyllis was there.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby says that where Tucker is concerned, Devon needs to keep his guard up.
Devon says he’s wary, but no matter what, Ashley and Tucker are getting closer.
Abby says that her mom wouldn’t have moved Tucker in without thinking of it first.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley asks Tucker why he’s in such a good mood.
Tucker says that seeing Dominic’s musical talents really uplifted him, and that Ashley’s invitation has been on his mind.
Ashley asks what invitation.
Tucker says her invitation for him to move into her room.
Diane comes in and says hello to the lovebirds.
She says she can’t wait to go for a walk herself and get her steps in.
Ashley says Diane can’t go for a walk with her ankle monitor. She says that she and Tucker should go for a walk to “get away from the insanity”.
Diane tells Ashley to wait for a minute. She asks Ashley to help her look through some bridal catalogs for when she becomes Mrs. Jack Abbott.
Crimson Lights
Tessa brings Mariah a coffee as Sharon fawns over Aria.
Tessa squeals and says she can’t believe it’s their first date night since they became mothers.
Mariah and Tessa discuss the baby’s care with Sharon.
Sharon jokes that she can invite Chance over, he’s a police officer and can make sure that the baby is safe.
Mariah apologizes for being overbearing, saying that it’s their first time away from the baby.
Sharon says that watching after a baby is like riding a bike, a person never forgets, and they don’t have anything to worry about.
Mariah laughs and says they’ve never seen Sharon ride a bike. She asks how a person keeps up with a child growing up.
Sharon says that you just deal with it and then the kid goes to university.
Society
Chance tells Christine that they have a new development.
He says that he was called away from the Athletic Club the night of Phyllis’s death. He says the tip that lead to him leaving the club that night was phoned in from the Athletic Club.
Christine says it’s pretty clear that someone wanted Chance far away from the club that night.
Phyllis & Stark’s Motel Room
Kyle tells Jack that he doesn’t know what they’re looking for.
Jack comes out of the bathroom holding a bag with red hair in it.
He says they need to compare it to Summer’s hair and prove that this is Phyllis’s hair.

The Abbott Mansion
Diane continues to tease Ashley, saying that Ashley should be her maid of honor.
Ashley lunges at Diane and Tucker pulls her away.
They go outside and joke about how they should just kill Diane.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby tells Devon that the teacher recognized Tucker and had him play one of his old songs.
She asks Devon what package he’s waiting for.
Devon is vague about what it is. He explains that it’s important, and it’ll be a surprise.
They joke around, and Ashley says that he’s obviously being fancy, expecting a special delivery.
Abby asks if it’s a gift… Maybe it’s jewelry… Or a boat!
They talk about how they love living in the penthouse, but maybe they need to move to a bigger place in the future, as Dominic will need room to grow.
The doorbell rings and Devon goes to answer the door.
Crimson Lights
Sharon says that there’s no way that Mariah and Tessa are NOT going on a date tonight.
She tells them to get out. She says that she and Aria will have a wonderful time together, and that Tessa and Mariah should too.
Tessa asks Sharon to call if Aria needs anything, and to have her camera ready in case Aria does anything cute.
Sharon tells them to go away, and they leave, laughing.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Devon opens the envelope from the courier… It’s a certificate.
He says it’s official now, his name is legally Devon Hamilton Winters.
Abby hugs him and says he’s a very special man.
Devon says she’s very special, and she’s very sexy.
Abby says he should take her right here and now…
Devon grins and agrees.
Abby finishes her sentence… She wants Devon to take her to the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge.
Society
Chance asks Christine if she still thinks that Diane and Diane alone committed the murder.
He says he’s not so sure anymore.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane paces around the living room.
She finds Phyllis’s memorial card and rips it up. She opens the front door and yells that if Phyllis is out there, she will be found.
Frustrated, Diane slams the door and goes back inside.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Mariah and Tessa sit at a table in the restaurant and talk about how they’re not going to talk about the baby, how they’re on a date and need to take their minds off of Aria for once.
Abby and Devon walk up to their table and say hello.
They ask if Tessa and Mariah would like to join them in the jazz lounge.
Tessa says they’re going to have dinner, but will probably join them after. Devon and Abby head to the jazz lounge.
Mariah and Tessa talk about missing Aria and show each other videos and pictures of her.
Society
Christine tells Chance that they have a lot of evidence, and even though it’s circumstantial, it’s still damning for Diane.
Chance says that Stark and Phyllis might have worked together to set up Diane.
Christine says that she can’t believe that Chance is falling for Michael’s trap.
She says that Phyllis may be ruthless and vindictive, but Phyllis can’t have taken things that far.
Chance asks if Christine thinks that Phyllis faked it.
Christine says she can’t believe that Phyllis would have hurt her children and faked her own death.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle and Jack get back to the house and talk about how the DNA test might exonerate Diane.
Jack says that Summer will be happy to know how things are working out.
Kyle tells Jack that Summer seems to be withdrawn. He says he’s getting really mad at Phyllis for what she’s doing.
Diane comes into the living room and asks if they found anything.
Jack says they hope to have some news soon.
The GCAC
Tessa and Mariah look through the menu, and Tessa says that something’s off… But not between them.
Mariah says that things don’t feel like they used to, she’s wondering if she’ll get a club soda instead of an alcoholic beverage… After all, what if Aria needs them? They can’t be drunk for that.
Tessa says that Aria is probably missing them right now.
Mariah says they’re making everything about Aria again.
Tessa says that everything is about Aria.
Crimson Lights
Sharon gets a delivery… It’s a bottle of champagne.
Sharon smiles at Aria and says that someone has gotten her a nice present.
She smiles as she opens the card. It says, “Memories are what life is made of.”
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge at the GCAC
Devon and Abby, smiling, look up at the portrait of Neil, and Abby walks away to get a drink.
Devon raises his glass to his father, saying that he feels really close to Neil right now.
Tucker and Ashley come into the lounge and see Devon and Abby there. Greetings and hugs are had all around.
Abby tells Tucker that he made quite the impression at Dominic’s music lesson.
Tucker says he had a great time with Dominic and that it was actually Abby that made a great impression, as other parents told him that Abby was doing a great job of parenting Dominic.
Tucker asks what Devon and Abby are doing there.
Devon says they’re celebrating his name change… He’s now Devon Hamilton Winters.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane asks Jack if the hair will provide enough evidence to help her case.
Jack and Kyle reiterate that the hair couldn’t have been in the motel unless Phyllis was still alive.
Jack’s phone rings. It’s the laboratory.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Devon says that the thought to change his name came to him the other night at the Jazz Lounge.
Ashley and Tucker both congratulate Devon on his new name.
Tucker says that Neil is smiling down on them.
They all raise their glasses to Neil in a toast.
Society
Chance’s phone rings, it’s Jack.
Christine says Jack is probably calling with his crazy theory. She leaves Chance to talk.
Chance answers the phone.
Jack tells Chance that he has DNA evidence that will prove Diane’s innocence.
Crimson Lights
Sharon talks to Aria, saying that she just received very expensive champagne and she wonders who sent it.
Ominous music plays as someone watches Sharon and Aria through the door.
