Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Jack & Kyle uncovered DNA evidence, Sharon got a mysterious gift while someone covertly watched, and Mariah & Tessa went on a date.
Crimson Lights
Someone watches covertly as Sharon fawns over baby Aria.
Adam comes into the restaurant and strikes up a conversation with Sharon.
Sharon and Adam talk about the baby, and Adam says he doesn’t know how to be a “girl dad”.
Sally comes in and listens to them talk.
Society
Nick comes into the restaurant and Victor invites him to join him.
Nick says that he’s there to pick up some takeout and says that he wants to talk about Victor’s parenting.
Newman Enterprises
Nate tells Victoria that it’ll be a game-changer if their business pitch works out.
Victoria says it’ll go through for sure, she says she generally gets what she wants.
Nate says that’s Victoria’s superpower. His phone pings with a text message. He says it was Elena, letting him know what storage facility to send her belongings to.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge at the GCAC
Devon and Abby talk with Tucker and Ashley over drinks.
Abby asks how things are at the house.
Ashley says that she’d rather not talk about it.
Tucker asks Abby to dance and she accepts, surprised he’d want to dance with her.
The Abbott Mansion
Chance comes to the door.
Summer answers the door and Chance says that he’s looking for Jack.
Summer tells Chance that Jack’s not home and asks him if she can help.
Chance says that he got a tip saying that Phyllis is alive and wants to know if Summer knows anything about it.
Summer invites him in, and Chance tells Summer that Jack said he has DNA evidence.
Chance says he’s trying to keep an open mind, but if it’s a ploy on Daniel’s behalf, he’d hate for Summer to get hurt or get her hopes up.
Summer says he doesn’t need to worry about her feelings because Phyllis is definitely alive.
Chance asks when she decided that.
Crimson Lights
Sharon tells Adam that raising a girl isn’t really different than raising a boy, you take care of them the same way.
Adam mentions Sally’s incredible soul will be helpful.
Sharon jokes with Adam and says he’ll be just as good a father to the little girl as he is to his boys.
Sally comes in at that point and says she agrees.
Adam says he has some business to take care of. He starts texting and walks away.
Sally starts fawning over the baby and exchanges meaningful glances with Adam.
Society
Nick tells Victor that Nate isn’t good for Newman Enterprises.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria asks how Nate feels about Elena moving out and moving on.
Nate says it was inevitable, but he feels responsible for what happened with Elena. He feels really guilty at times.
Victoria says that when relationships fail, it’s not usually one person’s fault. She says people change, and he can’t blame himself for that.
Nate says he feels terrible that he cheated on Elena.
Victoria asks if Nate will change his mind about them if people find out that she was the cause of Nate and Elena’s breakup.
Nate says he won’t change his mind. He kisses Victoria and she responds passionately.
They joke about how Nate’s lips can be persuasive.
Victoria asks him to go out for a drink with her.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Devon tells Ashley that he never imagined he’d see Abby and Tucker on a dancefloor.
Abby tells Tucker she thought he would be exhausted after hanging out with Dominic all day.
Tucker says he knows that Abby isn’t too keen on him spending time with her son or her mother, but he really appreciates how she’s handling it.
Abby says she’s trying her best.
Tucker asks if Ashley told Abby about his marriage proposal.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Tessa and Mariah talk about dessert as they finish their drinks.
Mariah says that they have to keep the date night going, they have to be grown-ups.
Tessa asks how they’re to forget about Aria.
Mariah says they’ll just sit and drink and talk, knowing that they’re madly in love.
Tessa says she’s going to take care of a few things.
Mariah says she’s going to pay for the bill.
They kiss.
Crimson Lights
Sally asks if Sharon thinks that the baby can sense the conflict around her.
Adam listens in as Sharon says that the baby will only notice if Sally allows the stress to affect her.
Sharon says that the baby is really connected to Sally right now. She asks if Sally would mind looking after Aria for a minute.
Sharon goes to do something in the back room.
Adam comes over to Sally and says that he hates that Sally feels uncomfortable around him… Again.
Sally says she’s not uncomfortable around him.
Adam says he knows Sally, and she needs time to enjoy the life that’s growing inside her. He says that he knows that she cares about Nick and deserves his support.
He says that Sally can’t deny that they’re in it together and that soon enough, they’re going to have a cute little baby just like Aria. He says he wants happiness for them.

Tessa & Mariah’s Hotel Room at the GCAC
Mariah is in a silky nightgown. She lights candles in the hotel room.
Tessa comes in and caresses Mariah. She kisses her neck tenderly.
Mariah smiles and turns around. They kiss and remove their clothes.
Tessa runs her hands through Mariah’s hair, and they fall back gently onto the bed.
The Abbott Mansion
Chance tells Summer that when they last met, Summer wasn’t prepared to accept the fact that Phyllis was alive, but now she’s ok with it… He wonders what changed.
Summer says she’s had time to think and had a conversation with Daniel about it.
Summer wonders if Chance thinks that Phyllis is alive too.
Chance says he’ll be honest with Summer if she’s honest with him.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Devon tells Ashley he was surprised to find out she moved Tucker in with her.
Abby interrupts them and asks if it’s true… Did Tucker propose to Ashley?
Tucker says he wasn’t aware it was supposed to be a secret, and that he loves Ashley and wants her in his life forever.
Ashley smiles at Tucker as he says this.
Society
Nick asks Victor why he thinks that Nate won’t screw things up at Newman Enterprises.
Victor says that Nick is looking too hard into things, and Victoria has it under control.
Nick says that if Nate has no agenda, and if Victoria and Nate build a relationship based on love, maybe there’s hope.
Meanwhile, Nate and Victoria go up to a hotel room and rip each other’s clothes off.
The Abbott Mansion
Chance says that he thinks Summer is hiding something from him.
Summer tries to explain that she listened to her gut, and Daniel’s story is the only thing that makes sense. She asks what they can do to help Phyllis get back safely.
Chance says he’ll do what he can for Phyllis if he can confirm the facts. He says that maybe the evidence that Jack found will change everything.
Crimson Lights
Sally says it wouldn’t be fair for her to rob Adam of his chance to be a father, and she’s sorry that she told him to keep his distance.
Adam says he knows that he won’t ever stop loving Sally, and being around her is hard on him and on Sally too. He says the baby might pick up on Sally’s stress.
Sally asks how they can work through it. She asks if Adam can respect her boundaries while honoring the baby.
Nate & Vic’s Hotel Room at the GCAC
Nate and Victoria lie in bed afterward and snuggle, kissing.
Nate’s phone pings with a message from Audra. He mutes the phone and goes back to Victoria.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley says that Tucker wanted to steal Jack and Diane’s thunder, and she didn’t accept his proposal.
Tucker says that the proposal was real.
Ashley tells Abby, pointedly, that the engagement is not on.
Tucker says he’ll blow Ashley’s mind with an engagement she won’t be able to say no to in the future.
Devon says it’s a good thing it’s not happening, it’s a little early for them to get engaged.
Tucker and Ashley leave the bar to go sit down at a table together.
Devon says he doesn’t know how to feel about Tucker’s proposal to Ashley.
Abby says it’s weird.
Mariah and Tessa’s Hotel Room
Mariah and Tessa snuggle in bed and talk about how they love motherhood.
Tessa says that she was really talking about booking a hotel room and having sex.
Mariah laughs and says “that too!”
Tessa says she wants to book a room on a date night again. She says that neither of them was raised by loving parents, and she really wants that for their daughter.
Mariah says Aria will know what a loving and romantic partnership looks like, and they’ll raise a wonderful girl who will grow into a wonderful woman.
They both say at the same time, “Like her mother!”
They laugh and kiss.
The Abbott Mansion
Chance asks what Summer and Daniel were talking about.
Summer says that they were just talking about their mother, and then she found out that Daniel saw Phyllis and hadn’t told her.
Chance says he thinks they knew about Phyllis for longer than she’s letting on. He says he saw her and Daniel talk at the cafe.
Summer says that what they talked about was none of his business.
Chance says at the time, he thought that Daniel was worried that Diane was going to jail for something that she never did.
He thinks that Summer knows more about Phyllis than she’s told him, and he needs to know everything if Summer wants his help.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley says that she’s not happy that Tucker told Abby about their fake engagement.
Tucker laughs and says that he’s sorry. He asks what type of proposal she’d like.
Ashley says he needs to slow down, he hasn’t moved his socks in yet.
Tucker says that she needs to humor him.
Ashley says she doesn’t want anything flashy or extravagant.
Tucker says that’s most of what’s on his list.
Ashley says it needs to be surprising, intimate, and meaningful to the relationship she shares with this “imaginary man”.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer says that she doesn’t know why Chance is interrogating her if he wants to help.
Chance says that he wants to help, but it doesn’t add up. He says that he finds it hard to believe that Phyllis reached out to Daniel before he reached out to Summer.
He says that he’s sure that Summer saw Phyllis and kept it from Kyle.
Crimson Lights
Adam says he needs to let go of the idea that there will be a romance between him and Sally.
Sally thanks him.
Sharon comes back.
Sally says Aria was an angel, and she hopes their daughter has a similar temperament. She leaves the restaurant.
Sharon asks Adam if everything’s ok.
Adam picks up the bottle and asks if Sharon is celebrating.
Sharon says she thought the bottle was from Adam.
Adam says it wasn’t from him, but she can pretend it is.
Sharon says it’s a familiar vintage.
An unknown person watches from the shadows as Sharon and Adam talk.
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Elena confronts Nate and Victoria, saying, “Would you look at this, the two of you together with clothes on!”
Billy tells Jack that it looks like Ashley is planning a coup.
Nick asks Sharon about the smudge of paint on the champagne bottle. He says it looks like blood.
