Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Billy and Jack planned to fool Tucker by continuing their “fight”, while Audra and Tucker struck a deal about Jabot.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Kyle enters the lobby and sees Audra and Tucker coming down the stairs. He says he’s surprised to see them together, since the last he heard, Tucker was on his honeymoon.
Audra says she and Tucker are old friends and business associates.
Kyle asks Tucker why he’s back in town so soon and asks where Ashley is.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane asks Jack if he’s heard from Billy.
Jack says he hasn’t heard anything about why Tucker’s back in town without Ashley.
Diane says they’re right back where they started… Worrying about what Tucker’s agenda is, just like when he dropped in at Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal.
Jack says he wishes he could go back to that time and fix everything between Summer and Kyle.
Diane says they can get back to discussing their reception plans.
Jack says they’re not going to let Tucker ruin their happiness.
They kiss.
The Chancellor Mansion
Devon asks Abby if she’s heard from her mom yet.
Abby says she hasn’t. She thinks something must be really wrong, since Ashley hasn’t reached out yet. She says she has to go to Society and asks Devon to let her know what Tucker says.
Devon says he will. He says everything will be ok and asks her not to worry. He says Tucker will be there soon, and he’ll find out everything he can about what happened between Tucker and Ashley.
Abby wonders if Tucker will be honest with them.
The GCAC
Tucker tells Kyle that Ashley is in Paris and had some things to do there, so he came back to take care of some local business.
Kyle raises an eyebrow and says, “Oh really?”
Tucker says, “Really”. He thanks Audra for her time and leaves the club.
Kyle tells Audra that he didn’t know that Tucker and Audra still spent time together.
Audra says she has a meeting to go to.
Kyle says he’s in that meeting as well, and they still have some time beforehand… He says he knows a good way to fill that time.
Audra says she’d love nothing more than to spend some quality time with him, but she has some calls to make before the meeting. She reminds him that their affair is supposed to be a secret, so they should “meet” somewhere else other than her room. She says she’ll meet him at the office.
Kyle agrees. He says he’s going to work out first, though it wasn’t the workout he hoped for.
Audra leaves as Billy walks in the door.
Billy tells Kyle that was interesting timing… He needs to talk to him about something.
Kyle asks what it’s about.
Billy says he wants to talk about Audra and Tucker McCall.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane says she almost feels guilty for being so happy when there’s a threat hanging over their family’s head. She apologizes for mentioning Tucker.
Jack says that it’s possible Tucker isn’t a threat. Maybe Tucker and Ashley are just having marital problems. He says that if Tucker’s planning anything, let him try. Having the love of Diane and his family makes Jack virtually invincible.
Diane asks if Jack knows that she’ll do anything to help and to protect Jabot.
Jack says he knows… That’s one of the things he loves about her. He knows he can count on her.
The Chancellor Mansion
Tucker walks in and asks Devon where Dominic is.
Devon says he’s on a play date. He says he wants to talk to Tucker about Ashley because Abby is worried about her.
Tucker asks if Abby has spoken to Ashley yet.
Devon says they haven’t spoken, and Ashley isn’t returning any calls or text messages, making Abby think there’s something wrong.
Tucker asks if Abby is there.
Devon says they’re alone. He needs to know what happened in Paris, and it’s Tucker’s chance to tell him.
Tucker says that everything went wrong.
A cafe in Paris
Tucker flashes back to his conversation with Ashley. They’re sitting at a cafe table talking.
Ashley tells Tucker that Jabot has been a big part of her. She tells stories of how her father took her on tours of Jabot when she was young and her first job after college was there.
Tucker says he knows Jabot was a big part of her life but thought Ashley was at a point in her life where she didn’t need it or her siblings anymore.
Ashley says she and Jack reconnected.
Tucker says now they’ve reconciled, Ashley can walk away with a clear conscience.
Ashley says it’s not that simple. Jabot is part of her lifeblood, and so is her family. She’s realized that it’s more important to her than anything. She always goes back to Jabot because it calls to her and is part of her.
Tucker asks if she’s trying to tell him something… Is she just going to throw away all their plans and their future?
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Billy and Kyle sit at a table, talking with coffee mugs in front of them.
Kyle asks what Billy has to say about Tucker and Audra.
Billy says he doesn’t trust either one of them. They clearly have some sort of relationship, and Tucker is supposed to be on his honeymoon, yet here he is in town hanging out with Audra.
Kyle says he doesn’t think it’s great, but it’s not strange.
Billy says he and Jack think something is happening with Tucker, who seems agitated. They should all be on alert.
Kyle says Tucker wasn’t acting like his usual self, no joking around or giving him a hard time. He says he’s on Ashley’s side and asks why Billy is coming to him with this… Where does he fit in?
Billy says that Kyle has a close relationship with Audra and wants him to do some digging and see what she knows about Tucker’s plans.
Kyle says he won’t spy for Billy.
The Chancellor Mansion
Tucker tells Devon that Ashley suddenly decided she couldn’t turn her back on Jabot or her family when they got to Paris.
Devon says there’s nothing wrong with that… Ashley loves her family and the business.
Tucker says they had plans to form a new company, and then Ashley said she wasn’t interested. They fought.
Devon asks if the fight was so bad that they couldn’t work through it, and now their marriage is in trouble.
Tucker says they argued, and they can’t roll it back.
Devon thinks he’s blowing it out of proportion.
Tucker says he’s being rational, and Ashley isn’t.
Devon says there’s got to be more to the story than what Tucker’s telling him. Did Tucker do something to Ashley that he’s not saying?
The Abbott Mansion
Jack’s phone rings. It’s Ashley. He excitedly asks if she’s okay and asks where she is.
Ashley tells him to calm down. She says she’s fine, all things considered.
Jack asks what that means.
Ashley says it means she’s okay and she’s in Paris.
Jack asks why she’s there; her new husband is in Genoa City.
Ashley tears up and says it’s changed… Everything has changed.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Billy tells Kyle that Tucker might be plotting revenge against the family and Jabot. He reminds Kyle that Tucker had tried to recruit Diane to provide him with financial information on Jabot and thinks Tucker might still want to get his hands on Jabot.
Billy says that it might not even be about Jabot… Maybe Tucker will come after Jack, Kyle, or Billy, too, because he might blame them for what happened between him and Ashley.
Kyle says it sounds like Tucker is planning to attack the Abbott family.
Billy says that affects Kyle and his mother as well.
Kyle says it’s all hypothetical. All Billy knows is that Tucker is back in Genoa City and left Ashley in Paris.
Billy asks Kyle why he thinks Tucker and Audra are hanging out together.
Kyle says it bothers him that they’re rekindling their friendship.
Billy smirks and says he can imagine.
Kyle says he never trusted Tucker. Good on Ashley for dumping him. He doesn’t think Audra would confide in him about Tucker, though.
Billy says he thought Kyle and Audra were… A thing.
Kyle says they’re not together anymore, and she’s his boss, so he can’t push her too hard.
Billy says that’s too bad… He’ll have to find out what he needs to know from someone else.

A cafe in Paris
Ashley tells Jack that once they got to Paris, she started thinking about her talk with Jack and realized she couldn’t walk away from Jabot and her family. She tried to convince herself she was happy and fulfilled, but it wasn’t true.
She says she can’t let Jabot and her family go. She tried telling Tucker she was having second thoughts about starting a company with him, but he got angrier than she’d ever seen him and accused her of playing with her emotions.
Jack says he’s so sorry to hear it.
Ashley says Tucker told her she was pulling the rug out from under him. Tucker was so angry that she realized the calm, easygoing attitude that made her fall back in love with him was all a false front.
She takes a sip of wine and says that Tucker hasn’t changed at all, and she can’t live with that.
The Chancellor Mansion
Tucker tells Devon that he didn’t do anything to Ashley… In fact, he did everything right, but he didn’t realize she couldn’t walk away from her family and that his love and commitment to her wasn’t enough for her.
A cafe in Paris
Flashback.
Ashley tells Tucker she’s not throwing away their future… They’re still husband and wife; they just won’t be business partners.
Tucker asks why she led him on. He asks why he wasn’t involved in her decision to throw away the plans they’d been making together
Ashley says Tucker acts like she’s betraying him, but she’s not.
The Chancellor Mansion
Devon doesn’t understand why Tucker isn’t working things out with his wife in Paris.
Tucker says he can’t compete with the “Jabot Lifeblood,” as Ashley called it. He offered her a life free of conflict with Jack, free of Diane’s constant presence, but Ashley wasn’t interested.
A Paris cafe
Flashback.
Tucker tells Ashley she’s made up her mind and would rather share her life with Jabot rather than him.
Ashley says it’s not fair… Why can’t it be both?
Tucker says Ashley was ready to take a leap of faith with him, and now she can’t commit. She’s walking away.
Ashley says she’s not walking away. She’s still there.
Tucker says that their marriage has barely even begun, and already, she’s a different person than the one he married.
The Chancellor Mansion
Tucker says he doesn’t think his troubles with Ashley should affect his relationship with Devon, though it might put him in a bind with Abby.
Devon says that if he’s telling the truth and having a fight with Ashley, that’s okay, but if there’s more to it and Tucker did something he’s not telling him, that’s a different story.
Abby comes in, looking pissed off. She glares at Tucker and says that Ashley called her while she was on her way home and told her that she and Tucker got into a fight, and Tucker didn’t consider her feelings or anything she wanted.
Tucker says she doesn’t have the whole picture.
Abby says their marriage and business partnership are over, and Ashley told Abby that she shouldn’t worry about her… She should worry about Tucker.
Devon asks what she’s talking about.
Abby says her mom reminded her that Tucker can be unpredictable when hurt and angry. She says they’ve been married less than a month, and Tucker already broke her mom’s heart.
Tucker says it’s the other way around, but he could never convince Abby. Ashley’s right about one thing… It’s over, and he’s done. He leaves the house.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane asks Jack if he’s okay.
Jack says he got off the phone with Ashley. She’s in Paris and is having second thoughts about leaving Jabot and the family.
Diane says that’s a good thing for Jack.
Jack says he’s thrilled Ashley has come to her senses and wants to work together again, but he hates how Tucker reacted when she told him.
Diane figures he didn’t take it well.
Jack tells her they had a fight and went ballistic. Tucker accused Ashley of being a traitor by not building a company with him to compete with Jabot, which scared Ashley.
Diane says she’s not surprised he acted that way.
Jack says he told Ashley it would come to this. Tucker has been trouble ever since he landed his helicopter on their lawn, but at least Ashley is on the same page as Jack about Tucker now.
The GCAC
Tucker walks into the lobby.
Billy sees him and says he thought Tucker would be swimming across the ocean to reunite with Ashley, but here he is.
Tucker asks Billy when his marriage became any of his business.
Billy says that if he had just gotten married, and his bride did a 180, that’d make him angry too. He knows that Ashley is unpredictable.
Tucker asks if Billy has a point.
Billy says that Jack is giving Ashley too much leeway, but not him.
Tucker gets exasperated and asks Billy what he wants.
The Chancellor Mansion
Abby says she had doubts about Tucker and her mother until they said their vows, but she didn’t expect this.
Devon says that Tucker seemed to be in real pain. He tells Abby that Tucker had told him they had a fight about Ashley not wanting to give up her connection to Jabot and didn’t want to create a business to compete with the family company.
Abby says Ashley told her that’s when Tucker “lost it,” and she realized that his talk about being a changed man was a lie. He was still the same manipulative person he always was.
Devon says he’s sorry it came to this.
Abby says she’s glad Tucker showed his true colors sooner rather than later.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Jack that one good thing has come out of this… He and Ashley are in a good place now. She says that she’ll never be close with Ashley, but they both share a love for Jack and want the best for him.
Jack says his relationship with Ashley was always complex, and they would fight and go their separate ways, but then something would happen to bring them back together.
He recalls Ashley leaving for Paris with her patents years ago, and they got back from that because Neil Winters died, which brought them back together in their grief, and they were able to reconcile.
Diane says she came back to town and caused a rift between them again.
Jack says he can’t blame Diane for that, and the fact that Diane saved Ashley’s life actually made their reconciliation possible.
Diane asks if he really thinks so.
Jack says she made it happen, and he’s certain of who he wants in his life. He kisses and hugs Diane.
The GCAC
Billy tells Tucker he’s just trying to understand what’s going on. If Tucker’s marriage is over, Ashley might come back to town and back to Jabot.
Tucker says Billy’s always looking out for #1. Billy’s so predictable, yet Tucker can’t believe that Billy isn’t accusing him of doing something horrible to Ashley to drive her away.
Billy says that making assumptions doesn’t get him anywhere.
Tucker wonders why Billy doesn’t seem to be upset that he told Jack that Billy was willing to help Ashley and Tucker take over Jabot.
Billy says that Tucker didn’t say anything that Jack didn’t expect. He was excited about pushing Jack and Diane out of Jabot, but if Ashley returns, there will be sparks, which isn’t good for the company. He still thinks he’s the best one to run the company.
Tucker says, “Good for you.” He heads upstairs, leaving Billy in the lobby.
The Chancellor Mansion
Abby tells Devon that she should have trusted her instincts. She knew Tucker couldn’t love Ashley the way she claimed, and he was using her for her money and business expertise so they could start an empire together.
Devon says it doesn’t make sense because Tucker seemed hurt by what happened. He wonders if it was just a misunderstanding that got out of hand that they can work out.
Abby doesn’t figure her mother’s coming back to Genoa City any time soon. Ashley said that if she came back, it would ignite the situation and incite Tucker.
Devon asks if Ashley said when she might come back.
Abby says she didn’t, but she needs to respect her mom’s need for time and space. She says Ashley thinks Tucker is plotting some vindictive revenge against the family.
Devon sighs. He says he wants to give Tucker the benefit of the doubt.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker pours himself a drink. He makes a call and leaves a voicemail for Ashley.
In his message, Tucker says he just talked to Abby, and how dare she tell Abby that he was the problem who caused everything to come crashing down. He offered her the world, and she was into their future at first, but she chose Jabot and Jack over Tucker.
He continues to rant that Ashley led him on and now she has the gall to paint him as the bad guy. He hangs up and throws the phone onto his bed.
Tucker stalks around the room, angry.
He picks up the phone and calls Ashley again.
He leaves a voicemail asking what happened and how things went so wrong.
The Abbott Mansion
Billy tells Jack and Diane he ran into Tucker at the club, but it was hard to get any information from him.
Jack says that Ashley called and explained that she’s safe in Paris and wants to return to Jabot.
Diane says that he lost his mind when Ashley told Tucker about it.
Jack says they fought like hell, and his anger frightened her.
Billy says Tucker was restrained, but you could see the anger in his eyes.
Diane says Tucker is angry and resentful and looking to take it out on someone.
Billy says Tucker is a legitimate threat.
Jack agrees. They must be ready to stop Tucker from destroying everything and everyone they love.
Next week on The Young and the Restless
Sally asks Adam to have dinner with her.
Tucker asks Phyllis to do something for him. Phyllis asks the name of the company, but he won’t tell her.
Lily tells Devon that Victor wants out of Chancellor-Winters and has sold his stake in the company to an unknown third-party investor.

The Writers need to do something about Tucker –Tucker needs to let Ashley go so she can be with her family again —Tucker is just doing this to get Jabot
