Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Sharon killed Cameron as Faith had explosives strapped to her, while Adam made the tough decision to save Sally and lose their baby.
The Sewers
Chance tells Sharon to step away from Cameron. With his gun drawn, he walks over to Cameron and checks for a pulse. Cameron’s dead.
Faith shows Chance the bomb around her waist, and Chance tells her not to touch it.
Sally’s Hospital Room
Sally tells Adam that the last thing she remembers was that she was dizzy and must have passed out.
Adam says she should talk to Elena or a doctor.
Sally asks if the girl is ok… Where is their baby?
Adam fights back tears.
The Newman Suite at the GCAC
Nate and Victoria snuggle in bed.
Nate says they might need to cut back on their corporate suite meetings because he wants to give his work his full attention.
Victoria says they’re one of her day’s best parts and suggests they might need more of these meetings… Unless Nate finds her too distracting.
The Sewers
Nick says they have to be careful.
Faith says she feels like if she breathes too hard, the bomb could go off.
Chance asks how Cameron put the explosives on Faith.
Faith says she doesn’t remember; Cameron must have done it while she was unconscious.
Sharon points out the detonator on the floor.
Chance says that it’s wireless and could be detonated from anywhere, including by cell phone. He says the explosives will have to be disarmed one by one.
Nick asks Chance if he’s sure he can disarm them.
Sally’s Hospital Room
Adam tells Sally she needs to rest to watch her blood pressure.
Sally says Adam is hiding something, she’s clearly had a C-Section, and she’s not feeling right. She begs Adam to tell her what happened.
Adam asks if Sally remembers Elena telling her that they might need to induce labor.
Sally says she remembers.
Adam says that they had to induce labor.
Sallys says they have a great neo-natal intensive care unit here; she checked.
She says that she needs to be with her baby. She tells Nick to take her to the baby. She starts squirming to get out of bed.
Adam tells her there was a complication during the C-Section.
Sally says that babies thrive all the time and they’re strong.
Adam says they can’t handle everything that’s thrown at them.
Sally asks if Adam is telling her that their baby girl isn’t there.
Adam says she didn’t make it, and he’s sorry.
The Newman Suite at the GCAC
Nate brings Victoria a drink and asks her if she’s ok.
Victoria says she was thinking about how Nick is dealing with “this Cameron nut.”
She says that Nick usually flies off the handle and makes things worse, and she can’t help but worry about him.
Nate asks if Nick will do it again with this Cameron guy.
Victoria says that it’s nerve-wracking, but the Newman security team and the police are on it.
Nate says he’ll help Victoria get through it.
Victoria smiles and hugs Nate tightly.
The Sewers
Chance says he had military training to disarm bombs like this. He asks for a light.
Nick brings over his phone and turns on the flashlight.
Chance tells Faith to stay still; he’ll work as fast as possible.
Faith says if the bomb goes off, they both die, but she trusts Chance.
Sharon says it’s not like it was in Spain, where they didn’t have Chance to defuse the explosives as they do now.
Chance asks Sharon to step back, but Sharon takes Faith’s hand and says she’s not going anywhere.
The Newman Suite at the GCAC
Nate tells Victoria he can support her at work, but it’s hard to know what to do right now.
Victoria says that it helps that he’s there for her. She starts worrying about Nick and Cameron again.
Nate tells Victoria that she just said she wouldn’t talk about them.
Victoria says she’s scared because Nick’s a loose cannon and usually acts alone.
Nate says that Nick’s not acting alone this time.
The Sewers
Faith asks Chance how long it will take to defuse the bomb.
Chance says he has to disconnect each explosive; he says he’s going to cut the first red wire and asks her not to breathe in too deep.
Faith says she won’t breathe at all… She’s ready when he is.
He cuts the wire without a problem.
Sharon says now that he’s cut the first one…
Chance says he has to ensure that Cameron didn’t switch up the wires. He starts working on figuring out which wire to cut next.
Nick says he can tell everything’s going to be fine.
Sally’s Hospital Room
Sally tells Adam that this can’t be true.
Adam says he’s sorry, but it is true… Their baby is gone.
Sally asks how it can be over… She wasn’t even awake for her birth and never met her. She says it can’t be real.
Adam says Sally needs to take a deep breath.
Sally says everyone told her to rest, and it didn’t help.
She cries and says she tried everything to be healthy and not get stressed. She asks why she lost consciousness.
Adam tells her to stop… She’s done nothing wrong.
Sally wails in grief, asking why their little girl is gone.
The Newman Suite at the GCAC
Nate tells Victoria she’s the strongest person he knows, and she can depend on him to be there for her.
Victoria says she’ll take advantage of that. She says that Nick may need to take some time off to be with Faith.
Nate says he may also need to keep working.
Victoria says she doesn’t want to sleep.
Nate asks if she wants to go home.
Victoria says she doesn’t want to go home, but she doesn’t want to stay cooped up either.
Nate suggests they go downstairs for a bite to eat, and Victoria agrees.
Sally’s Hospital Room
Sally asks Adam to send Nick in.
Adam says Nick’s not there.
Sally asks why Adam is so selfish by refusing to call Nick.
Adam says that he sent text messages and left Nick a few voicemails, but never got any answer.
Sally says Nick would be there if he could be.
Adam says that Nick’s phone battery might be dead.
Sally cries and says that Nick is dealing with his “real” family.
Adam says that Nick will be there soon because Sally needs him.
The Sewers
Chance says the black wire must be the right one. He clips it… No explosion!
He says they’re almost there.
Faith says that it’s always the last wire that blows something up in the movies.
Chance asks for more light.
Nick tells Faith a bad joke. He says that two men walked into a bar, and the third one ducked.
Faith groans and says she’s not supposed to breathe, and that includes laughing.
Nick says that she didn’t laugh.
Faith says there was no reason to, the joke sucked.
Nick says Sally’s baby will be able to meet Faith because of Chance.
Sharon says the baby is going to be lucky because Nick spoils girls more than boys.
Chance cuts the last wire. He says it’s done and takes the belt off Faith.
Sharon and Nick hug Faith as they celebrate.
Chance says they should celebrate elsewhere.
Sharon asks if Chance will arrest her for what she did to Cameron.
Chance says Sharon did it out of self-defense. He says he was there and saw everyone. He tells her not to question if she did the right thing… She did.
Nick says that Sharon saved them all; he can’t even imagine what would happen if Sharon didn’t have that knife.
Sharon says the knife was Nick’s doing.
Nick, Sharon, and Faith leave.
Chance flips Cameron over on his back and says he should leave him with the rats. Chance calls for backup and tells them there’s a body.
Sally’s Hospital Room
Adam tells Sally that he left another message for Nick.
Sally says she knows something happened to Nick… Why wouldn’t he be answering?
Adam says Nick’s fine.
Elena comes in and tells Sally she’s so sorry, Sally has her deepest sympathies for her loss.
Sally says “loss” is inadequate.
Elena says that words are hardly comforting at a time like this.
Sally says she’s sorry for snapping at Elena and that she appreciates everything Elena’s done for her.
Elena says it’s understandable; Sally is in shock. She asks how Sally’s feeling.
Sally says nothing seems real.
Elena asks Adam to step outside; she needs to talk to Sally alone.
Adam says he’ll be right outside if Sally needs anything.
Sally asks Elena what happened in the delivery room… Wasn’t there anything that Elena could do to save her baby?
Sharon’s House
Sharon, Faith, Victori, and Nick walk into Sharon’s living room.
Faith says it’s great to be home and nice to see her grandfather too!
Victor hugs her and says he’s happy things worked out. He leaves to talk with Nikki and let her know what happened.
Sharon asks Faith if she wants something to eat and drink.
Faith says she can’t think about food right now.
Sharon says Faith has been through some trauma, and her body doesn’t know what it needs. She says she’ll make tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich… Nobody can resist that.
Nick says they should both sit down, and he’ll go cook it for them.
Faith asks for them both to sit with her. She promises she’ll eat, but she needs to be able to see them both right now. She tells her mother and father that she loves them.
Sharon says they love her too, and that’ll never change.
Faith asks how Sharon’s doing… It must have freaked her out to do what she did to Cameron.
Sharon says she’s just happy to be with Faith.
Nick says that Sharon did what she had to in order to save her family.
The GCAC Restaurant
Nate walks into the restaurant and sits down with Audra at the bar.
Audra says she notices that he’s coming from the corporate suite.
Audra thinks that Victoria will soon follow Nate down from the corporate suite.
Nate says that it’s none of her business, but Victoria is freshening up and will be joining them soon for a nightcap.
Audra asks about Nick.
Nate says that Nick’s situation is dangerous. He says that Cameron is back and terrorizing Nick’s family, and Victoria wants him to take time off.
Audra asks what will happen if Nick doesn’t want to take the time off.
Nate says it sounds like Victoria won’t give Nick a choice.
Audra asks if Nate feels remorse for getting his chance at the big league because of Nick’s troubles.
Sally’s Hospital Suite
Elena says she’s sorry this happened to Sally… She’s seen it so many times.
Sally says it’s like an anvil is sitting on her chest, creating a hole that can’t be filled.
Elena says that what Sally feels right now will probably intensify before it gets better.
She says that Sally’s grief is amplified by her physical situation, and her hormones will take months to stabilize.
Sally says she has one question… What did she do wrong?
Elena says she didn’t do anything wrong; it wasn’t her fault.
Sally cries and asks if she could have saved the baby if she was awake in the O.R.
Elena says because of the complications that put her and the baby in danger, there was no time to reach out to the next of kin, and Adam had to make a choice.
Sally asks what choice that was.
Elena says Adam had to decide whether to save Sally or to save the baby.
Sally can’t believe that Adam had a choice.
Sharon’s House
Sharon tells Faith she’s fine, but she’s worried about her. She says Faith will need someone to talk to, and they’ll make some calls tomorrow.
Victor returns and says that Nikki is concerned and sends her love.
Sharon says she will put Faith safely in her bed upstairs and might join her.
Faith hugs Nick and Victor goodnight and goes upstairs with Sharon.
Nick tells Victor he didn’t see it ending like it did with Kirsten.
Victor says he’s glad that Sharon got rid of that son-of-a-bitch.
Nick says he wonders how killing Cameron is going to affect Sharon.
Victor says that he’ll be there for anything Sharon needs. He’s going to go back and talk with Nikki; she’s worried. He asks if Nick’s staying there.
Nick says that he’ll stick around and thanks Victor for being there for them.
Victor says that Adam tried reaching him, is very concerned, and needs Nick to call him right away.
Nick takes out his phone and sees that he’s missed calls from Adam and others. He calls Adam.
Adam asks where the hell Nick’s been; he’s been trying to reach him.
Nick says Cameron’s been taken care of and the threat is gone.
He asks if Adam told Sally about Cameron.
Adam says he kept it to himself.
Nick asks Adam why he called.
The GCAC Restaurant
Nate tells Audra that Nick is helping his family through a crisis, and he hopes he’s doing ok. He says they’re not getting along right now.
Audra asks what happens if Victoria gets her way… Nate will have to deal with Nick then.
Nate says that if Nick steps down, he’ll step up, and he’ll need Audra to step up to.
Audra says she’s ready; he can count on her at a moment’s notice.
They toast, and Victoria walks in and sees them talking together.
Sharon’s House
Nick asks Adam if Sally’s ok.
Adam says that Sally’s ok, but there’s been a development. They need to talk in person.
Nick says he shouldn’t really leave Sharon and Faith.
Adam says he’s at the hospital with Sally.
Nick asks why they’re at the hospital.
Sharon comes down and says that if the call is about Sally, Nick should go.
Nick says he’ll come as fast as he can.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Elena tells Adam that losing a baby is one of the hardest things she’s seen in this job. She asks how Adam is; he’s lost a baby too.
Adam says it doesn’t seem real.
Elena says it happened fast, and he had to make a tough decision in the moment. She says if there are any questions she can answer for them, she’s there for him and Sally.
Adam thanks her and goes into Sally’s room. He tells Sally he just talked to Nick, and everything’s fine. He says Nick will be there soon.
Sally asks Adam how he could let their baby die.
