Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Audra wanted Kyle in a new position, Sally asked Nick to leave, and Jack raged over Tucker & Ashley’s new company.
Chancellor Park
Michael looks at his watch and sits down on a bench, waiting.
Phyllis walks up to him and says, “Hey, stranger.”
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker tries to take a picture of Ashley on his phone. He asks her to pose for him.
Ashley laughs and smiles as he takes photos. She’s in her housecoat and protests a bit, but she’s having fun.
They kiss as Diane walks in.
Diane tells them to get a room.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Daniel walks into the restaurant and sees Jack.
Jack offers his hand for a shake, and after a moment’s hesitation, Daniel shakes his hand.
Daniel says he didn’t expect Jack to talk to be civil to him after everything that’s happened lately.
Jack tells Daniel that he isn’t responsible for Phyllis’s actions.
Daniel says that the longer Phyllis stays away, the worse she’s making things.
Jack says Daniel cares for Summer and feels better knowing that Daniel is there for her. He says Daniel is a good man and asks how his life is.
Daniel spaces out, looking at Lily, and doesn’t respond right away.
Jack turns to see what Daniel is looking at and says he must be doing well.
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy is on the phone with the press. Summer walks in, and Billy ends the call.
Summer asks Billy if she can bounce some ideas off him.
Billy says he’s busy dealing with Ashley leaving the company.
Summer laughs and says he can’t deal with more than one person.
She asks if Chelsea said anything about her job offer.
Billy says Chelsea isn’t ready to accept right now; maybe Summer can find someone in Italy.
Summer thinks Billy is trying to send her to greener pastures since she’s not “family” anymore.
The GCAC
Lily laughs and asks if Daniel is stalking her.
Jack asks how the gaming division is going.
Lily says Omega Sphere has caught fire in South America.
Jack congratulates them and asks Daniel how it feels.
Daniel says he’ll let Jack know when he lands. He says they have a lot to celebrate and leaves them to talk.
Lily says that current events haven’t damaged Daniel’s relationship with Jack.
Daniel says that he’s still his stepson.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley asks what Diane is doing there.
Tucker laughs.
Ashley asks why Diane isn’t at work trying to ruin the company. She kisses Tucker.
Diane throws up her hands in exasperation and leaves the room.
Chancellor Park
Michael tells Phyllis that Christine is still looking for her, along with the police. He advises her to stay hidden.
Phyllis says that all the sneaking around has taught her something; she knows where she belongs.
Michael says that doesn’t sound good.
Phyllis says that Daniel told her about Kyle & Summer breaking up, and she blames Diane for it.
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy tells Summer they will always be business partners and friends even if they’re not family.
He says he’s not trying to banish her to Italy, but she needs to surround herself with the people who know her best. He reminds her that she saved people’s jobs in Italy while she saved Marchetti, and those people think highly of her.
Summer asks why that matters if she can’t even save her marriage.
Billy says he believes in her and she’ll keep everything together.
Summer says she screwed up.
Billy says she can fix it; she’s a powerhouse.
Jack walks in and says she needs someone to help run Marchetti. He recommends Diane for the position.
Summer says she’s got some other ideas and is going to fill the position herself. She leaves Jack and Billy to talk.
Jack starts ranting to Billy that Ashley is leaving the company. “What has she become?”
The GCAC
Daniel shows Lily something on a tablet. She smiles as she looks at it.
Daniel asks what she thinks of her birthday gift. He created a universe for “Queen Lilliana”.
Lily laughs, kisses him, and says she loves it. She asks when she will get the game since he designed it for her.
Daniel says it’s still in development… She’ll have to wait!
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy says that he’s had messages and requests for interviews all day.
Jack says he should take it up with Ashley; she’s why this is happening.
Billy asks if Ashley will be able to take patents and run.
Jack says that legal is looking into it, but they should be ok.
Billy asks what Ashley and Tucker’s new company does.
Jack says he doesn’t know, but they’re being sneaky.
Billy says that there’s nothing that Tucker won’t do.
Jack agrees.
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker takes a selfie of himself and Ashley, but Ashley’s in a bit of a mood because of Diane.
Ashley tells Tucker she loathes seeing Diane in her home. She wants Diane to leave.
Tucker says as much as he loves the idea, he doesn’t see it happening. He says Diane has a corner office at Jabot and is there for keeps unless things change.
Ashley says one person could finish Diane off for once and all… Phyllis.
Chancellor Park
Michael tells Phyllis he’s talked to everyone else but her and he needs to know the whole story.
Michael asks Phyllis to tell him everything from when she first met Stark until he tried to kill her. He wonders why Phyllis didn’t trust him when things started to go wrong with Stark.
Phyllis says it was complicated and didn’t know she could turn to anyone.
Michael says she could always come to him.
Phyllis says there were things she needed to do alone, but she’s changed since this whole thing started.
Michael laughs and asks how she’s changed.
Phyllis says she loves him and she’s becoming “a better Phyllis”. She asks again if he wants to know the whole story. He nods.
She says, “This is the story of how I died.”

Jabot Cosmetics
Billy says they need to find something big to take eyes off Ashley’s power moves… How about the teenage perfume line?
Jack ponders for a moment and says that might work.
Billy says they will do everything bigger and better than Ashley. He says that Jack can’t take this personally.
Jack says it is personal… There’s a lack of respect for their spouses-to-be and for the company in general.
Billy says he’s not feeling any resentment… It’s all Jack.
The GCAC
Daniel playfully asks Lily what she’ll do if she doesn’t get her hands on his game.
They joke around and move in for a kiss, but Summer interrupts them.
Summer tells Daniel that she phoned him, left messages, and wonders why he never got back to her.
Daniel says he turned his phone off and wonders what Summer needs so badly.
Lily says she has to get going. She kisses Daniel and leaves.
Summer says that Michael needs to meet with them.
Daniel asks what Michael wants to talk about.
Summer says she’s not sure… Maybe it has to do with Phyllis turning herself in.
Daniel says Summer was “spinning out” earlier, and she was being unreasonable.
Summer says her company is going through difficult times and wishes she could talk to Kyle about how much their marriage means to her. She says that everything feels wrong when they’re apart.
She says that Kyle hates her now, and she feels like they’re complete strangers. She doesn’t think she’ll have another chance.
Chancellor Park
Michael glances at his watch, and Phyllis asks why he keeps checking the time.
Michael says that he’s got a meeting with Daniel and Summer shortly.
Phyllis smiles and says Michael is her best friend… He’s looking out for her children.
Michael says he knows she’s nervous about coming home, it’s not just the charges against her that are affecting her.
Phyllis scoffs.
Michael says Phyllis will need to work hard for forgiveness when she returns. He says it will be tough to regain her family’s trust and those who love her.
Phyllis says she owes everyone an apology and will tell everyone what happened when Jeremy tried to kill her.
Michael asks if she’s ready to do that.
Phyllis says she wants to sit, feel the sunshine on her face, and smell the fresh air before she turns herself in. She says she’ll call him when she’s ready to remove her disguise.
Michael tells her not to make him wait too long. He kisses her cheek and leaves the park.
Phyllis closes her eyes and hears someone call out, “Phyllis!”
Phyllis opens her eyes and sees Diane, and she looks angry to see Phyllis.
Diane says Phyllis isn’t even trying to hide anymore.
She says she should call the police on Phyllis immediately, and Daniel will be relieved not to have Phyllis as a source of drama in his life.
Phyllis says she’ll fix things with Daniel. She says that Jack will open his eyes to Diane and realize how dangerous she is.
Diane says Phyllis will just up and disappear like the coward she is.
Phyllis opens her eyes… Her encounter with Diane was just a daydream.
Jabot Cosmetics
Billy asks what Diane thinks about Ashley’s “betrayal”.
Diane says she talked with HR and Legal, and they need to ensure that non-disclosures and non-competes are signed by everyone in the company so that nobody will leave Jabot to join Ashley’s “ship of fools”.
Billy says he agrees, and they’ll move on when Ashley is gone. He leaves Jack and Diane to talk.
Jack asks Diane why their happiness threatens those they know and love.
The GCAC
Summer asks if Michael sent Daniel any messages.
Daniel says he hasn’t.
Summer asks why Daniel doesn’t seem to care what happens to their mom.
Daniel says he cares… Within certain boundaries.
Summer says they turned their backs on Phyllis before her hair-brained scheme, and look how that turned out. She says that Daniel was never there for her and is close to losing everything in her life.
Summer says that Phyllis is the reason she’s spinning out.
Chancellor Park
Phyllis starts to write a note on her phone to her family and friends apologizing for her mistakes and saying she’s changing her life. She says she’s been defeated and will never get her life back; she has to face that Diane won.
The GCAC
Michael meets with Daniel and Summer.
He tells them that Phyllis is ready to turn herself in and return to life in Genoa City.
Jabot Cosmetics
Diane tells Jack that Ashley can do what she wants… She says she doesn’t want anything to overshadow her marriage to Jack.
Jack tells Diane she’s a strong woman.
Diane says they must stand guard against people who know their weaknesses.
Jack says she should marry him right now.
Diane laughs and kisses him.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley says it blew her mind when she heard Phyllis died, and she couldn’t imagine the world without Phyllis.
Tucker says Phyllis is still missing in action and wonders if Phyllis is still looking to rid the city of Diane Jenkins.
Ashley asks if Tucker has a plan.
Tucker says they must keep talking about their new venture and have many public displays of affection to drive Diane away.
He says they need to sit naked in the hot tub while they play music that Diane hates; they can smoke cheap cigars, and the smoke will waft into Diane’s sanctum sanctorum.
Ashley thinks they should start smaller. They need to hire the “best of the best” for their company, maybe even poach them from Jabot if necessary. She asks if Tucker can do that for her.
Tucker laughs and looks at his watch. He says he was too enthralled with Ashley to remember his appointment.
They joke about being naked in the hot tub, and Ashley says she likes that idea.
Tucker leaves.
Jabot Cosmetics
Jack says he’s never wanted to run away more than he does now.
Diane asks where he’d like to go.
Jack says they could go to a private island and live a wonderful life.
Diane laughs and says that Jabot is enough of a challenge for them both.
Jack says he gets the girl and gets to ride off into the sunset with her. He asks if she’ll come with him and be his girl.
Diane answers him with a kiss.
Chancellor Park
Phyllis gets a funny look on her face. She says, “Diane won?! Oh hell no!”
She deletes the part of the note she was writing that says Diane won.
Phyllis says, “No more hiding! This is done, I’m coming out of hiding, ready or not, here I come, and this time… I’ll finish what I started!”
The GCAC
Daniel wonders if Phyllis worked out a deal with the District Attorney.
Michael says that turning herself in was Phyllis’s idea.
Summer asks why Phyllis would want to turn herself in.
Michael says that Phyllis feels guilty for ruining Summer and Kyle’s marriage.
He says he’ll prove that Phyllis was the victim of Stark’s coercive control and will show that Stark manipulated her.
Daniel asks how he’s going to prove that.
Michael says Carson, the EMT, could prove it.
Daniel asks where Carson is.
Michael says even with all his manpower, Victor hasn’t been able to find Carson yet.
Tucker is sitting on the other side of a partition in the restaurant and listening in. He looks thoughtful as he hears every word that Summer, Michael, and Daniel are talking about.
Summer says they have to try to fight for Phyllis… Nobody is untouchable. She says they have to find Carson.

Why does the writers continually have someone as old as Phyllis act like a teenager? I really wish that she would be written out. I prefer Gina as Phyllis. I do like having Dianne back. But am so ready for Sally and Chloe to be GONE FOR Ever. Adam needs some sweet attention from his family. Soon please
Totally agree with commenter. I wouldn’t be upset at all if the characters of Ashley and Phyllis were written out. Both are way too old to carry on a teenaged mean girls fued with Diane.
I like that Diane is back. I love the age appropriate romance between Jack and Diane. It’s romantic and sweet.
For Summer, Phyllis and Ashley to continue to blame Diane for their own issues is silly. Enough already.
Kyle and Audra is interesting right now. I would love to see him jump the Jabot ship and work for Newman Media. Also bring back Tara to fight for custody….bring more drama to Kyle’s life.
Please let the riders keep now Diane and Jack as a stable couple like Victor and Nikki. They have had their past dramas and now should be outstanding support people for the younger ones. Let’s have Adam meet a wonderful girl for a change.
Diane needs to go..Phyllis needs to return and take care of Diane.. Jack is being very naive when it comes to Diane.. She is using him to get his money.. Kyle needs to go.. Summer needs a real man..
Ashley and Tucker keep the soap going.. I think they make a great team
Did I miss something between Jack and Diane? Why aren’t they in jail for stealing the necklace, well Jack actually? So that means that they’re free and clear and no one needs to go to jail which Phyllis will be going to jail. Please let me know thank you.
Diana, will never change. Remember she let Nikkie stay in jail for her death and didn’t come back . She marry Victor and tried to turn Kyle again Jack. She stole Victor sperm and Ashley replaced them with Jack, she burn down the one of John Abbott bath house, she slept with Jack when he was marry to Patty, Paul Williams sister, she slept with Tucker when he was marry to Ashley. During her time missing how many times did she slept with Tucker and and the gangster.
Tucker Will probably find the guy to help clear Phyllis and he will then magically disappear
Phyllis, Diane, Ashley and Tucker all need to grow up!!! Find some real teenagers to carry on all the drama!!!!
Take Diane out!! Jack needs to wake up to the scheming Diane…please let Adam have some peace and love in his life…bring Victoria off her high horse and make Nate regret getting involved with her
I don’t like Diane to just waltz right in like nothing happened, too easy she does a better job when she has to fight for herself & do things for herself Sally needs to have a placement of her own
