Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Nick broke up with Sally, Victor called Adam the wrong name, and Victoria begged Nick for his support.
Crimson Lights
Chloe is on the phone talking to someone about a fabric supplier they’re having problems with. She finishes the call and sits down with Sally. She asks Sally what’s up.
Sally says she’s fine.
Chloe doesn’t believe her. She says she looks “not fine”. In fact, she looks terrible, like she lost a best friend.
Sally says that’s ironic. She says Chloe doesn’t want to hear her problems… She did lose her best friend, but she’s not sure which one.
Society
Adam walks up and sits at the bar beside Nick. He asks Nick if he’s heard anything about their father.
Nick says Victor is back from his trip.
Adam says he’s worried about their dad. Victor called him “Nicholas,” and when he talked to him about it, Victor didn’t have any idea it had even happened.
Nick says he doesn’t want to hear anything from Adam. He doesn’t want a “brotherly” conversation with him because he’s screwed up everything in his life.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki asks Victor why he called Adam by the wrong name.
Victor says it was a joke.
Nikki says Adam didn’t find it amusing.
Victor says the kids think they can outmaneuver him, and he’s had enough. He says Victoria walks around seething about him, and Adam isn’t fooling anyone with his “happy” act, pretending to love being Nate’s assistant.
Nikki says she was against giving Adam even a tiny opportunity like that.
Victor says he doesn’t know who he can trust.
Nikki says he can trust her, Nicholas, and Victoria.
Society
Adam asks what’s got into Nick… He’s so angry!
Nick says Adam’s got under his skin, and the fact that he’s not punching him in the face shows how much restraint he has. He tells Adam to stay away from him.
Adam says whatever is making Nick mad at him must be serious, but he’s obviously not going to tell him what it is.
Nick tells him to shut up and says he doesn’t want anything to do with Adam. He leaves the restaurant, steaming mad.
Adam finishes his drink and follows Nick.
Crimson Lights
Sally tells Chloe that she’s too busy to listen to her drama.
Chloe says she’s there for Sally no matter what. Sally’s obviously going through something, and she wants to help.
Sally takes a deep breath and tells Chloe that Adam kissed her.
Chloe asks how it happened.
Sally explains that they went to dinner, had too many drinks, and he kissed her when he walked her to the door.
Chloe asks if Sally kissed him back.
Sally says she didn’t. Maybe she did. She doesn’t know, but she hasn’t been able to think straight since then.
Chloe says she gets it… What about Nick?
Sally says she blew it. She confessed to Nick, who didn’t take it well. She thought she was in love with Nick, but it took her so long to tell him that he had a hard time believing it. She doesn’t blame him for doubting her.
Chloe tells her to stop being so hard on herself. She’s been through so much, it stands to reason that she’s been so confused. Nick loves her, and he’ll probably come around soon.
Sally says she’s not so sure. Nick thinks she still has unresolved feelings for Adam.
Chloe asks if she does.
Sally says she doesn’t know, and Nick wants to end their relationship until she figures it out. He doesn’t trust her anymore, and she’s not sure she trusts herself.
Chancellor Park
Nick walks into the park and takes a seat on a bench, burying his head in his hands in frustration.
Adam walks up to him and says that Nick can’t just “lob a grenade” at him like that and walk off like there’s nothing more to say.
Nick says there is nothing more to say.
Adam asks if this is about him kissing Sally. He admitted he was wrong and apologized to both her and Nick. He really is sorry.
Nick says it was impulsive, and Adam can’t control himself. He’s caused so much collateral damage, and Nick can’t see what Sally ever saw in Adam in the first place. He goes to leave.
Adam grabs him to stop him from leaving, and Nick reacts, throwing Adam’s hands away.
Nick tells him to get his hands off him.
Adam apologizes. He’s not trying to start anything. It won’t happen again. He’ll keep his distance.
Nick tells him he’s a disgrace to the Newman name and stalks away.
Adam looks around and sees Victoria standing there watching.
Newman Enterprises
Victor tells Nikki he has two children, Adam and Victoria, who can’t stand each other. He’s come back to the company he owns, and that’s pissing everyone off. Nicholas doesn’t give a damn about any of it, and in the middle of everything is Nate Hastings.
Victor says he’s beginning to think Nate is one of the few he can trust… He’s loyal.
Nikki isn’t sure if that’s a good decision, since Nate stabbed his own family in the back. She wonders why Victor thinks Nate won’t do the same to him.
Victor says that remains to be seen. One of them will try to betray him from the inside.
Nikki says Victor’s sounding paranoid. He should just fire Nate and Adam, and maybe that’ll make Nick change his mind and come back to Newman Enterprises unless Victor has decided he can’t trust him either. She wonders if she’s on Victor’s watch list as well.
Victor says Nikki is his lover and confidant, and he can trust her implicitly.
Nikki is surprised he doesn’t trust their daughter. She says Victor’s off the mark this time.
Victor says he’s just watching his back. Nikki has nothing to worry about. He’s going to watch Nate and Adam very closely from now on.
Nikki asks if he’s going to keep watching Victoria, too.
Victor sighs and says he deeply hopes that Victoria won’t be the one to plunge a knife into his back.
Nikki asks what happens when Victoria realizes that Victor doesn’t trust her. She’ll be mad as hell, and Victor doesn’t need her anger directed at him. She says she doesn’t understand what’s happening to Victor.
Victor tells her not to worry. He has reasons to believe that someone is out to stab him in the back, and his suspicions have always been right. He doesn’t trust anyone, they’re all interested in getting ahold of his empire, and he won’t let them.
Crimson Lights
Chloe tells Sally that Nick is wrong to let this break them apart. Sally needs to talk to Nick and convince him that she’s sincere.
Sally says Nick might be right… Maybe she can’t love him the way he wants her to.
Chloe reminds Sally that she said that Adam’s in her rearview mirror and that she loves Nick. She just needs to talk to Nick and prove it to him.
Sally laughs and says it reminds her of being in school. She was madly in love with two boys at once.
Chloe says everyone was confused as kids.
Sally says she wasn’t confused. She knew that she loved them both.
Chloe says she’s all grown up now.
Sally says now that she’s grown up, she’s supposed to know which one will make her happy and not try to hold onto them both.
Chloe tells her to listen to her heart. It’ll tell her that it’s Nick she’s supposed to hold onto. Nick loves her, and Adam is just a part of her past, nothing more.
Sally wonders if her heart might tell her something completely different… That it’s Adam she should be with.
Chancellor Park
Victoria tells Adam that the sight of him and Nick fighting is a familiar sight.
Adam says Nick is out of control, but it wasn’t unmotivated.
Victoria says she wouldn’t doubt it… Nobody is buying Adam’s so-called “turnaround.”
Adam says Victoria doesn’t know what she’s talking about. His fight with Nick isn’t about work or how he’s changing his life. It’s a personal issue.
Victoria says Adam’s right. She apologizes for jumping to conclusions.
Adam is surprised that Victoria actually said she’s sorry.
The GCAC Dining Room
Nick sits at the bar, drinking shot after shot of what looks to be whiskey.
He thinks back to when he first got together with Sally, and they’d kissed, wondering if things between them were going anywhere.
Nick sighs and remembers his conversation with Sally where she’d told him that Adam had kissed her. He’d been angry.
He’d talked to his father and explained that he loved Sally and she meant a lot to him. Victor had said that Sally was only a symptom of Nick’s fight with Adam.
Nick takes another drink.
Chancellor Park
Victoria tells Adam that it’s hard to fight her instincts to not trust him, but she promised their father that she’d give Adam a chance… And that’s why she apologized.
Adam nods.
Victoria says that Nate convinced her to consider Adam’s accomplishments before she wrote him off.
Considering how she felt about him, Adam says that must be difficult for her. He asks her if she’s noticed anything odd about Victor lately.
Victoria asks what he means by “odd.” She hasn’t noticed anything.
Adam says there have been some memory issues, but it’s probably nothing… He called him “Nicholas” and got angry when Adam brought it up. He says Victor denied calling him that.
Victoria figures Victor just made a mistake and felt embarrassed.
Adam says Victor has never been embarrassed about anything.
Victoria says Adam’s right.
Adam laughs and says that Victoria has apologized and acknowledged what he’s saying… That’s twice in one day! He says she’s really trying. He says goodbye and leaves the park.
Victoria pulls out her phone and calls Nick, asking to meet with him.
Nick tells her he’s not in the mood. He’s tired of everyone trying to convince him to return to Newman.
Victoria tells him it’s not about that… It’s important.
Nick sighs.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki tells Victor she hates it when she shuts him out and tells her it’s for her own good.
Victor says he needs her to be patient. Eventually he’ll tell her everything.
Nikki says she knows better than to keep pushing.
Victor says he trusts her enough to know she’ll keep it under wraps. Whatever happens, Nikki has to trust him.
Crimson Lights
Sally tells Chloe that she hates still having feelings for Adam and she’s sick of pretending that she doesn’t.
Chloe says Adam isn’t making things easier on her.
Sally says Nick is right, and she still has feelings for Adam. She has unresolved issues.
Chloe says it’s all about Adam getting what he wants. He’s manipulative and doesn’t care who he hurts in the process.
Sally says she’s been a fool when it comes to Adam, but she doesn’t know what to think.
Chloe says she does know; she just doesn’t want to say it. She reminds Sally that she was married to Billy Abbott, and she knows how hard it is to get a “bad boy” out of her head, even if they’ve put you through pain like Adam has.
She tells Sally that she can still have feelings for Adam, but it doesn’t mean she needs to act on those feelings. Sally isn’t planning on getting back together with Adam, is she?
Sally says she’s tried to get rid of him.
Chloe says Sally needs to try harder. She refuses to believe that Sally and Nick can’t work things out. Nick loves her; he’s amazing and would never do anything to hurt her.
Sally says she’s right.
Chloe says Sally just launched a business with Nick… What’s she going to do about that?
Sally says she has no idea.
Chloe says that Sally ended her relationship with Adam because he brings her nothing but pain, but Nick is the way to happiness. She needs to talk to Nick and let him know she’s ready to let go of the past, but she must do it now.
Adam enters the coffee shop and sees Sally and Chloe talking together. He asks Sally what’s going on with Nick… He almost punched him a few moments ago.
Chloe says she’s wrapping up her conversation with Sally and asks Adam to give them a minute.
Adam nods and walks away.
Chloe tells Sally that Nick almost punched Adam, which means he’s angry. He obviously still cares about Sally.
Sally figures Nick might just be angry at her.
Chloe says that anger is passion, and if there’s still passion, there’s still a chance.
Sally can’t believe she has to deal with it all right now… She’s supposed to be focused on starting a company. She gets up to leave.
Adam stops her and asks if he can help her in any way.
Sally says he can’t.
Adam asks if they can go somewhere to talk.
Sally says those days are over. She has a meeting to get to. She leaves the cafe.
The GCAC Dining Room
Victoria and Nick sit at a table, and Victoria asks if Nick ordered the ice tea for her benefit so she didn’t think he was getting drunk.
Nick says he wishes he was getting drunk… It sounds like a good idea.
Victoria says she’s worried about Nick; he looks like hell. She saw him tearing into Adam in the park and asks what that was about.
Nick says it’s a personal issue between them, and he doesn’t want to get into it.
Victoria says she’s heard there’s something “off” with their father.
Nick shakes his head. “This again?”
Victoria says Nick needs to hear her out. She says that Victor called Adam by Nick’s name and then claimed he didn’t and got mad at Adam for pointing it out.
Nick says Adam already told him about it, and he doubts it’s a reason for their dad to start therapy. He asks why Victoria can’t just let it go. Victor demoted her and took her place, but that’s not a sign of diminished capacity.
Victoria says it’s more than that.
Nick says Victor has been demoting and firing people his whole life, and that’s all he’s doing now. Nothing’s changed. Victoria can either deal with it or walk away.
Newman Media
Nikki walks into her office, deep in thought.
Claire startles her when she asks if everything is okay. She apologizes for scaring her, saying she used to scare her great-aunt all the time, and it’d take her days to calm down.
Nikki figures she has more scares to look forward to from Claire.
Claire laughs and says she’ll try not to surprise Nikki again.
Nikki sees that Claire made her a pot of tea. She thanks her, saying that’s just what she needed.
Claire pours her a cup of tea and says she doesn’t want to overstep, but she wants to know if everything is okay with Nikki.
Nikki says she’s dealing with some family issues. Never a dull moment at the Newman household, but for the moment, there’s nothing for Claire to be concerned about.
Claire smiles and says she’s a good listener if Nikki ever needs it.
Nikki says that companies as big as Newman Enterprises come with problems, even when they’re family-owned.
Claire says there must be a lot of conflicts, especially when her children are blessed with such “dynamic personalities.”
Nikki says that’s one way of looking at it.
Claire says she’s really impressed with Victoria. It’s a tribute to Nikki and Victor how successful both of their children are. She apologizes for being nosy.
Nikki says she’s not being nosy. She appreciates her compassion. Everything will work out; it always does.
Claire says her great-aunt likes to say they have to stop worrying about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey, even when it’s rocky.
Nikki says her great-aunt sounds very wise, as does Claire. She’s been taught well.
The GCAC Dining Room
Victoria tells Nick she’s sick of being accused of having ulterior motives and not being concerned about their father. She thinks Victor’s not up to the challenge of running the company and thinks there’s no justification for him returning to run Newman.
Nick says Victoria knows that Victor came back because he saw his company breaking apart. Victor’s not the type to sit back and watch it crumble.
Victoria says Newman isn’t fractured; it’s stronger than ever, and Victor’s return shows that he’s not thinking clearly.
Nick says that their father coming back to run the company he started isn’t a symptom of him losing his mind.
Victoria says everyone sees Victor as a god, but he’s aging and is human. She says Victor is in a crisis, even if Nick doesn’t want to see it.
Nick says there’s nothing to see.
Victoria asks what if Nick’s wrong and they do nothing about it. Will he be able to live with that?
Crimson Lights
Chloe asks Adam why he has to ruin everything. He’s the worst, and she’s sick of watching him destroy people’s lives.
Adam says maybe Chloe should try shooting him again but should aim better this time.
Chloe considers it. She says she’s too busy for that and leaves the cafe.
Sharon asks Adam what he’s done now… She hopes that wasn’t about Sally.
Adam asks why it matters… Why is it so insane that he wants a future with Sally?
Sharon says Sally is with Nick and loves him. Adam needs to leave it alone.
Adam says he hasn’t done anything since the last time they spoke, but something has happened between Nick and Sally.
Sharon asks how he knows.
Adam says Nick almost decked him earlier, and it probably has something to do with Sally.
Sharon says even if that is the case, it doesn’t mean that Adam should try to put himself between them. She says it’s time for Adam to walk away.
Adam says he can’t promise that. He thinks that Nick and Sally’s relationship has ended.
Sharon says he can’t know that for sure.
Adam says he belongs with Sally. It’s inevitable.
Sharon says Adam doesn’t care who he hurts.
Chancellor Park
Sally calls Nick and leaves a voicemail, asking him to call her back. She says it can’t be the end of them; they can get through it.
The Newman Ranch
Nick takes out his frustration on a punching bag in his father’s gym.
Victor walks in and asks him to talk to him and let him know what’s wrong.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria walks into the office and looks around. She sits down behind Victor’s desk, looking unhappy.
She looks at Victor’s portrait, upset. She sees a picture of her and her father together. She picks it up and smashes it to the ground.
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Audra asks Kyle to form an alliance with her and Tucker.
Danny tells Daniel, Lily, and Phyllis that he plans to stay in Genoa City longer than he’d originally thought.
Nick tells Victoria and Nikki that Victor is fading, and it’s happening faster than he imagined.

Just why do everybody loves to place the blame on Sally yea he true but look she was in a relationship with Nick and people just being so stupid can’t seen to see that I know they love Adam hell I do too but wrong is wrong no matter what which you slice it you can try to justify their actions but point still stand wrong is wrong
