Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Victoria’s house burned to the ground, Nikki was driven over the edge by stress, and Ashley had a reality break.
Society
Mariah walks into the restaurant and says hello to Tessa, asking her if she’s ready to clock out yet.
Tessa says she’s almost done and asks if Mariah just came from the office.
Mariah jokes that she got sucked in by some very exciting reports at work, but she’s starving and thought she and the manager of Society could sit down and have a snack.
Tessa tells her to give her a minute.
Mariah figures that something must be bothering Tessa… What is it?
Tucker’s GCAC Suite / The GCAC Dining Room
Tucker gets a message from Ashley. “Need to see you ASAP. I’m downstairs. It’s urgent.” He calls her number.
Ashley answers. She’s sitting downstairs at the bar and asks how long he intends to keep her waiting.
Tucker asks what it’s about.
Ashley says she’ll tell him when she sees him… It’s too important to get into on the phone.
Tucker says that her text said “Urgent,” but he doesn’t know what there is between them that could be so important.
Ashley says she’ll show him.
Tucker says it’s very late, and he’s getting ready to go to Paris.
Ashley pouts and says, “Without me?”
Tucker says he’s going with Audra, but for Ashley’s sake, he’ll make sure to throw some chairs and break some glasses at their favorite bistro while he’s there.
Ashley says that’s funny, but it’s ancient history.
Tucker asks her to stop; it’s getting old. Either wish him bon voyage or hang up. Either way, this conversation is over!
Ashley says when he talks to her face-to-face, he’ll rethink Paris… In fact, he’ll rethink everything.
Newman Ranch / A Back Alley
Nikki tells Jack she’s sorry to bother him so late. She’s sure Diane doesn’t appreciate it.
Jack says it’s never a bother, and Diane understands. He says he’s happy to be here, but why is she alone?
Nikki says everyone else is in bed, and her mind is spinning; it’s been a rough night.
Jack says he’s glad she called him instead of going out for a drink. He’s happy there’s no alcohol left in her house.
Nikki doesn’t say anything in response. She heads over to the loveseat, unzips the cushion cover, and pulls out a bottle of vodka.
Jack looks shocked.
Victor is reading in bed when his phone rings. He answers the call.
Jordan says hello and asks if it’s a good time to talk.
Victor says he was expecting her call. She’d told Claire that she would reach out to him.
Jordan says it’s fortunate that her niece could pass the message along before that “terrible fire” broke out at Victoria’s house.
Victor says Jordan had a busy night.
Jordan says she doesn’t know what he’s talking about; it’s been all over the news, and she was just reading about it. From what she’s read, there’ve been no injuries… Is that true?
Victor says they should get back to Claire.
Jordan says that Victor should tell her, truthfully, where Claire is living now and who she’s living with.
Victor says that would be Claire’s decision to make.
Jordan says she doesn’t buy a word of Victor’s message that Claire gave to her.
Victor assures Jordan he’s a man of his word.
Jordan laughs and says it’s been decades; does he really think she’d believe he’s remorseful about what he’d done to Eve?
Victor is remorseful for what she’s done to his family and wants to make amends. He’ll do whatever she asks him to do to put an end to this “terrible story.”
In the living room, Jack asks Nikki if she had someone bring her the bottle of vodka.
Nikki shakes her head. When Victor had the house searched, they must have missed it. She says the bottle is full and the seal is unbroken… She didn’t have any, but she almost did.
Jack asks what she meant by it being a rough night.
Nikki’s not sure where to begin… With the house fire or her former sponsor’s murder.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker opens the door to Ashley and tells her she has ten minutes of his time.
Ashley walks in and says she only needs five.
Tucker asks if her visit is related to Abby dropping by earlier.
Ashley’s surprised that Abby visited him. She asks what Abby wanted.
Tucker says Abby thinks he must be toying with Ashley because of how she’s been acting lately.
Ashley asks how she’s been acting.
Tucker says Ashley has been acting very civil and admitted she was wrong about Paris. She’s been trying to persuade Devon to give Tucker another chance, but it seems she’s gone a little too far with that one… It set off a lot of alarm bells in Abby’s head.
Ashley says Abby doesn’t understand. She figures Abby thinks Tucker talked Ashley into pleading his case, and they both know that’s not what happened.
Tucker says he told Abby that there’s a possibility Ashley was setting him up for something, but she didn’t believe it and “officially put him on notice.” He says Abby will be watching him to make sure he doesn’t hurt her mom again. She warned him to stay away from Ashley.
Ashley says that’s sweet but unnecessary. She tells him not to worry about Abby… She’s being overprotective, but she won’t bother Tucker anymore.
Tucker says Abby and he are confused by Ashley’s sudden turnaround. He says if anyone is playing games, it’s Ashley.
Ashley says she understands his skepticism… She’s there because she wants things to return to how they were between them. Neither one has felt that way before, and they never will again… She’s let down her guard; now it’s Tucker’s turn.
Tucker starts to speak, but Ashley interrupts.
Ashley says his plan for Glissade is brilliant, and she wants to be a part of it. She wants to be part of every aspect of his life, personally and professionally.
Tucker says he doesn’t trust her anymore.
Ashley says they’re not good at trust, but she thinks she’s figured it out. She tells Tucker to listen to her.
Tucker says that she’s not listening to him. This is not going to happen.
Ashley says, if it won’t happen, why did he invite her to his suite? She steps closer to him.
Tucker steps back and says he thought she’d have something honest to say for once, but she clearly doesn’t. He says he wanted to tell her to her face that if she’s running some scam on him, it’s not going to work.
Ashley says there isn’t any scam and she has no ulterior motive. She wants one thing, and he knows what that is. She tries to put her arms around him.
Tucker steps out of her reach and says they’re not doing that. He says he won’t fall into her trap and is sorry if that messes with her plans.
Ashley says they love each other and were on track to be ridiculously happy, but they got derailed.
Tucker laughs.
Ashley says they can still get back on track; Tucker just needs to meet her halfway!
Tucker yells at her to stop; that’s enough! He says it’s not going to work.
Society
Tessa and Mariah are sitting at the bar and drinking wine. Tessa says she never realized how hungry she was.
Mariah asks if that’s why Tessa was on edge when she walked in; was she hungry because she hadn’t eaten for hours?
Tessa says something happened, but she didn’t mention it because it upset her, and she knew it would upset Mariah as well.
Mariah promises not to flip out… Tell her!
Tessa says the security at the ranch has been heightened because Jordan is on the loose. When Tessa left the ranch, one of the guards stopped her, thinking she was Jordan. She froze because it freaked her out.
Mariah says the guards know them… How could this happen?
Tessa says the guard was new, and once he figured it out, he was very apologetic, but it freaked her out.
Mariah says she doesn’t care if the guard is new; he should have been briefed better. She says she’s going to talk to Victor about it.
Tessa thanks her. She knows Jordan is a menace and she’s glad there’s security, but it’s gotten to be a bit much. She’s worried that Aria is picking up on it.
Mariah says it’s been happening for weeks, and everyone’s on edge. She hates that this is what passes for normal at the ranch.
Tessa thinks it might be time to move.
Newman Ranch / A Back Alley
Jack asks Nikki if she’s sure Seth was murdered… Could it have been an accident or suicide?
Nikki says she’s sure. When she met with Seth, he was excited about his decision to go to rehab. He wasn’t depressed and certainly wasn’t in the mood to throw himself in front of a speeding car.
Jack asks if Seth was at the bar to confront Jordan.
Nikki says she knows he was… She went to the bar with Victor, and one of the officers said that Seth was seen leaving with a woman. Shortly after, the woman came back in and told the bartender that Seth’s last words were, “Tell Nikki Newman I’m sorry.” Nikki is convinced Jordan pushed Seth and killed him to send her a message. She says Jordan had disappeared by the time the police got there.
Jack says he’s sorry about all of it. He says Jordan is a sociopath, and it’s not Nikki’s fault.
Nikki says that’s not all… Victoria’s house was set on fire and burned to the ground.
Jack is shocked.
Nikki says nobody was in the house, but Victoria and her children’s keepsakes were lost in the fire. She’s sure Jordan will be disappointed to find out that nobody was hurt in the fire.
Jack figures Victor must have his security team and the police on high alert. He says he had to go through several checkpoints to get to the house.
Nikki says security can’t be everywhere at once. She’s terrified for her family and by how much she wants to have a drink.
Jack says they could get to an AA meeting if they left right now.
Nikki nods. “Let’s go.”
In the alleyway, Jordan is on the phone with Victor. She tells him she’s trying to live her life, but the Newmans stole Claire from her and turned her against her!
Victor says Jordan stole Claire from them when she was a baby.
Jordan says she stole her to give her an honest life… Something that Victor could never have done. She showed Claire what real family loyalty is!
Victor says Jordan’s loyalty to her sister is deeply touching.
Jordan says Eve deserved Victor’s loyalty, but he treated her like garbage.
Victor says he has a lot of regrets in his life, but none of them is as big as the regret he feels when he thinks of Eve.
Jordan asks him to unburden himself and tell her what he’s going to do to make amends for her sister.
Victor says he’ll have to look in her eyes to tell her that. He suggests they meet somewhere.
Jordan laughs. “So I can walk right into your trap?”
Victor says it’s more likely he’d be walking into her trap. He asks if she’s willing to take the risk… He sure is!

Tessa asks Mariah what else Jordan could be capable of… She burned down Victoria’s house, and Aria is vulnerable!
Mariah says Aria is their top priority.
Tessa wonders if they should stay on the Newman property… Even when Jordan is no longer a threat, the Newmans don’t live a simple and quiet life; something is always happening with them. She apologizes for upsetting Mariah.
Mariah says she’s not that upset. She never thought they’d stay at the ranch forever… It’s always felt strange to her that they live in a house on Victor’s property. Sharon’s house was one thing, but it’s the Newman ranch, and they’re not Newmans. Maybe it’s time to create their own home!
An AA Meeting at the GCAC
Nikki introduces herself to the group. “My name is Nikki, and I’m an alcoholic.” She says it’s been one of the worst nights of her life. She says some of them may know her story from other meetings; she’s been through months of torture and was force-fed alcohol through an IV by an insane woman.
Nikki says the woman was trying to destroy her sobriety, and she did. Now she’s back at AA, craving alcohol and wanting her sobriety back. She reconnected with her long-time sponsor, Seth, who a lot of people know. She starts crying and says that she’s sad to tell them that Seth died earlier.
Nikki explains that Seth was hit by a car outside of a bar, but he was sober, and he was pushed in front of the car by the same woman who tortured Nikki. She says the woman’s name is Jordan, and she doesn’t have any proof, but she knows Jordan killed Seth, and she hates her for it.
Nikki continues, saying she feels guilt because of it. She says Jordan tricked Seth into believing she and Nikki were friends and used him to spy on her. When she realized what Jordan was up to, she asked Seth to keep Jordan on the hook so the police could catch her, but she killed him before that could happen. She says Seth always went above and beyond for her, and this time it cost him his life.
Nikki wishes she hadn’t asked Seth to help her, but she did, and she feels partly responsible for his death, and it will haunt her for the rest of her life. She says now, all she wants to do is drink, but that’s not the right way to honor Seth’s memory. She says she’s making it her life’s mission to put that “monstrous, murderous” woman back behind bars. She wants to see her pay for all of the people she’s killed.
Nikki continues her rant. She says she wants to see Jordan pay with her life. She wants Jordan to die in prison, and not just from old age. She wants her to beg for the mercy she didn’t show Seth. She says if karma is real, that’s what Jordan will get.
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Ashley tells Tucker he won’t intimidate her by yelling at her.
Tucker asks why she accuses him of coercing her whenever he raises his voice above a whisper.
Ashley says she’s not accusing him of anything; she’s there to tell him she understands him. She knows his rage and suspicion are because she wounded him so deeply, but she’s sorry.
Tucker smiles and takes her hands. He says her apology is accepted; now get out of his room… He has things to do!
Ashley asks what he has to do; take someone he doesn’t love to Paris? He could take Ashley and be together just like they always wanted.
Tucker laughs and says she’s being ludicrous.
Ashley asks what she has to do to prove to him that she’ll never hurt him that way again.
There’s a knock at the door. It’s Audra. Tucker answers the door, and they kiss.
Audra looks at Ashley. “What’s she doing here?”
Tucker says Ashley was just leaving.
A strange look rolls over Ashley’s face. She says she gives the kiss a 3 out of 10.
Audra asks Tucker what’s going on.
Ashley says she’ll explain it and she’ll speak slowly so she can understand her. She says she and Tucker will be husband and wife again. She won’t back down for anyone or anything. She says she and Tucker have a once-in-a-lifetime connection and are meant to be together. She sabotaged that and she was stupid, but now she needs to fix her mistake, and she will… You can count on it!
Tucker holds the door open, and Ashley leaves.
Audra asks Tucker what that was all about… Suddenly, Ashley is in love with Tucker and wants him back?
Society
Mariah and Tessa sit on a sofa. Mariah is tapping on her phone while Tessa is looking at her tablet. Mariah shows Tessa a real estate listing for a three-bedroom place.
Tessa asks if there’s a yard for Aria to play in.
Mariah says there’s a patio but no grass or trees… Less to take care of!
Tessa worries about privacy.
Mariah says there’s a fence, but the houses on either side look down into the patio. Because it’s in the city, if they want green space, they’d have to go to the park.
Tessa says she’s never thought of herself as the “suburban mom” type. She shows Mariah another listing for a newly renovated farmhouse on a half-acre lot with mature trees. She says it sounds safe and romantic and is in their price range.
Mariah asks how far out in the boonies the property is.
Tessa laughs and says the boonies are great and affordable.
Mariah says they need to make a list of wants and needs as well as looking into taxes… They need to put a kid through college someday!
Tessa says Mariah’s all that and has brains, too!
Newman Ranch
Jack and Nikki walk into the house. Jack tells Nikki that venting her rage must have felt good.
Nikki says it did, but she knows it won’t last; she’ll wake up tomorrow, Seth will still be dead, and Victoria’s house will still be burned down. She says telling the people at the AA meeting how much she hates Jordan really helped her. She says Jack has been her hero more than once, and she’s not sure she could hold it together without him.
Jack says there’s no doubt in his mind that she’d be able to do it by herself. He’s glad she doesn’t have to.
Nikki says she has one more favor to ask… She gets the bottle of vodka and gives it to him, asking him to take it away. She says even though she’s feeling strong, she never knows when the urge to drink will come back.
Victor walks into the room and asks, “What’s that bottle doing here?”
Nikki says she never knew it was there. Thanks to Jack, it’s unopened. She says Jack was going to get rid of it for her.
Victor hopes they don’t find any more alcohol around the house.
Nikki says she’s not aware of any.
Jack says he’ll make sure it’s disposed of. He wishes them both a good night and leaves the house.
Nikki asks Victor why he’s dressed; she thought he was in bed.
Victor says he has to make a call from the office… It’s late afternoon in Singapore.
Nikki asks if it can wait.
Victor says he has to make the call.
Nikki says it’s just them… Why doesn’t he tell her what’s really going on?
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker tells Audra she has nothing to worry about.
Audra says she walked into his suite and found his ex declaring that her new mission was to win Tucker back. She says she’s not worried, but she’s annoyed.
Tucker says that’s fair, but it wasn’t a secret rendezvous.
Audra asks why they didn’t meet downstairs in public… Why did their meeting occur in a room with a bed?
Tucker says Ashley was insistent and he was in the middle of packing, so it was more convenient for him.
Audra wonders what Ashley said before she showed up.
Tucker says he understands her anger but doesn’t want her to be jealous.
Audra says she has every right to feel the way she feels. Ashley is still in their lives and was in Tucker’s room!
Tucker says he doesn’t know how to be any clearer to Ashley about how he feels.
Audra asks if Ashley has done this before… Has she insisted they get back together?
Tucker shakes his head and says it makes him suspect Ashley has some strategic play in the works, but whatever it is, it won’t work. He says he almost lost Audra once, and he’ll never let that happen again.
Audra sighs and takes his hand. She laughs, asking if Tucker saw Ashley’s reaction after they kissed. She wasn’t at all calm or collected for a second!
Tucker says he saw something in Ashley’s eyes… It was like she was confused and didn’t know why she was there.
Audra says she doesn’t think Ashley Abbott is ever confused about anything… But at least Tucker packed for Paris! She asks if Ashley knows they’re leaving for Paris together.
Tucker says, “Oui! It was the first thing I mentioned.”
Audra jokes that Ashley will probably hide in Tucker’s suitcase and follow them there.
Tucker laughs and says he’ll check his bags before they go. He says Ashley won’t interfere with their trip.
Audra wants to believe it, but she can’t wait to be on the plane with Tucker. She wants to be away from it all, together in Paris in a way they have never been before!
Tucker says he’ll be the luckiest man in Paris.
Audra grins and says he already is. They kiss, and Audra begins unbuttoning Tucker’s shirt.
The GCAC Dining Room
Ashley sits at the bar and orders an Old Fashioned. A voice in her head says, “I think she suspects.“
Ashley says out loud that it won’t be long now. “She” will be safe… For good.
Society
Mariah and Tessa look at another listing, which seems to check all the boxes.
Tessa says the kitchen is on her wishlist; they could cook together!
Mariah thinks it’s great to have dreams. She says it has a new roof and a finished basement. They could make the sunroom into a home office or a playroom… Maybe both.
Tessa says she loves planning their future together. They have a lifetime together to watch their daughter grow up… Neither of them grew up with a sunroom/playroom with parents who adored them, and they get to give that to their little girl!
Mariah says they’re living the dream.
Tessa says she wouldn’t want to live it with anyone else.
Mariah smiles, and they kiss.
Newman Ranch
Victor tells Nikki he told her he has to make a call to Singapore.
Nikki doesn’t believe he has to call from the office right at that moment.
Victor says it doesn’t matter. He asks why she called Jack over.
Nikki says she was in danger of opening the bottle, and Victor should be grateful that she got ahold of Jack when she did.
Victor says he’s glad she didn’t drink, and he’s glad Jack took the bottle with him. He tells her to get some rest.
Nikki says she’s not going to let him “slip out the door” when she doesn’t know what he’s up to.
Victor says he has to go… Right now.
Nikki says he needs to tell her where he’s going… Tell her the truth!
Tucker’s GCAC Suite
Tucker and Audra have just showered. Tucker sits in a towel, thinking, as Audra walks in. He says that something’s not right.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley walks into the living room and spies Jack. There’s a bounce in her step and a smile on her face. She says, “Well, hello, Jackie!” and asks how he is.
Jack says it’s nice to be home. He sees the smile on her face and says she was right about getting a walk in the brisk night air; she seems to be in a good mood.
Ashley says that she feels like everything’s coming together. She has a vision for her life!
Jack hopes that her vision doesn’t include Tucker.
Ashley says, “Absolutely!”
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Lily comes home and finds Daniel, Lucy, and Heather eating dinner together.
Phyllis and Nick are in Phyllis’s room. She tells him that she feels very alone, and they kiss.
Claire asks Nikki to tell her the “epic story” of how Nikki met Victor.
Michael tells Victor that he doesn’t want to worry Lauren. Victor assures him that Lauren has nothing to worry about.
Jordan steps out of the shadows with a gun pointed at them.
