The Abbott Mansion
Diane tells Billy that they’re getting married because they love each other… Not for any other reason.
Ashley applauds and says that’s one of the best performances she’s seen from Diane.
Jack says their love is real despite Ashley’s protests.
Billy says Ashley’s right; Jack is just blindly jumping off a cliff.
Ashley says Diane is as melodramatic as Jack is.
Jack calls Ashley a hypocrite. He can’t believe she’s doing business with “this cretin”, referring to Tucker. He tells Tucker to leave.
Ashley says Tucker’s not going anywhere.
Traci walks into the room and asks what the argument is about. She scolds Billy and asks why he can’t give Jack a day without trying to tear him apart.
Ashley smiles, says “Thank you”, and leaves the house, followed by Tucker.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra and Kyle lie in bed, kissing. Audra says eventually, they’ll have to limit their afternoon escapes and get some work done.
Kyle says he’s very excited about these “meetings”, and they can work later in the afternoon.
Audra tells Kyle they have to buckle down for the next few months because Adam and his new company are dead set on making Newman Media redundant.
Kyle says he can try… He’s beaten Adam once, and he can do it again.
The Newman Ranch House
Adam tells Victor that he wasted no time telling Victoria about his idea to merge Adustus with Newman Media.
Victor says of course he did… Victoria is the CEO.
Adam says Victoria told Nate, and Nate told Audra, so things will be a bit more difficult.
Victor doesn’t think it’ll make any difference.
Adam says he told Victor his plans in strict confidence… Victor’s taken his power and given it to the enemy.
They sit down, and Victor asks Adam why he treats the other divisions of Newman Enterprises as the enemy when they’re all part of the same company.
Adam thinks Victor is simply disregarding his judgment.
Victor says that he told Adam he’d fold McCall into Newman Enterprises, and he asked them to work together for three months, but Adam wants to bulldoze over anyone he perceives as the enemy.
Adam protests, but Victor says that if Adam can’t see how productive it can be to work with family, Victor will have to change his perspective.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra and Kyle finish getting dressed.
Kyle kisses Audra’s cheek, and she asks him how he beat Adam.
Kyle says he gave Adam enough rope to hang himself, and after that, it was easy to force him out of Jabot. He says Adam’s an angry guy with daddy issues who will self-destruct if he has the chance.
Audra says Kyle has more of a ruthless streak than she thought… She likes it.
They kiss.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Ashley sits down with Abby, who immediately starts talking about Ashley and Tucker’s wedding plans.
She asks Ashley what’s wrong when she sees the look on her face.
Ashley says she had a difficult day, and Jack’s about to make the worst mistake of his life.

The officiant says, “We’re celebrating the wedding of Jack and Diane.”
Diane and Jack smile at each other.
The GCAC
Abby is surprised that Jack and Diane are getting married at City Hall right now. She thinks it’s sudden.
Ashley says it’s infuriating.
Abby says it’s like what Ashley and Tucker are doing.
Ashley says she can’t make that comparison. Jack’s throwing away his life.
Abby says Ashley needs to let Jack live his life.
Ashley says that Diane’s going to ruin Jabot.
Abby says Tucker and Ashley have their own company, so it shouldn’t matter. She says Ashley’s anger against Diane may be a reflection of her anger at herself.
Billy comes down the stairs as Tucker enters the club.
Tucker says hello, saying he didn’t expect to see Billy there. He figured Billy would be attending Jack’s wedding, but seeing him here makes him realize that Billy is as opposed to it as he claims.
The Genoa City Courthouse
Diane can’t believe they’re really getting married. She says they’ve had quite the journey.
She flashes back to when she “came back from the dead” and first saw Jack, and how he was surprised and told her that she had left heartache in her wake.
She relives how they had gained trust for one another and fell in love again after her return.
Diane says she wanted to be his wife for so long, and finally… They’re exactly where they’re supposed to be, together at last. She promises to put their happiness above everything.
Jack says he’d almost given up on sharing his life with anyone but seeing her standing there looking so lovely, he can’t be happier that he was wrong. He says they’re not a traditional couple, but she’s his life and his heart and he loves her.
The Judge pronounces them husband and bride.
They kiss.
Diane says Jack’s made her the happiest woman in the world.
Jack says that’s his mission in life… Mrs. Diane Jenkins Abbott.
The Newman Ranch House
Victor tells Adam that pitting one division of Newman Enterprises against the other is not part of his master plan.
Adam wonders if he’s even part of Victor’s master plan.
Victor tells Adam he’s putting the brakes on the whole endeavor… That’s it!
The GCAC

Tucker says it’s his experience that the Abbott clan buries the axe for special occasions.
Billy says this isn’t a special occasion, and it makes him angry that his brother is losing his mind.
Ashley says she’s not in the mood for Abby’s “analysis”.
Abby says Ashley might be making a mistake by taking a leap of faith with Tucker. She wonders if Ashley is moving forward to quickly when maybe her instincts are telling her to stop.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane and Jack come home and kiss.
Diane asks what’s next.
Jack tells her that they will have dinner, champagne, some dancing… But first, he wants to take his beautiful wife upstairs and make love to her.
Diane and Jack snuggle in bed and talk.
Diane says it’s been a magical night and wonders when they’re going out for dinner and dancing since Jack was going to stage the fight with Billy while they were out that evening.
Jack says that they already had a fight, and he’d rather just stay in bed with Diane.
Diane says they did a pre-wedding fight, but now that it’s official, they need to push it to the edge.
Jack says it will be more convincing on the night of their wedding. He says Billy has to infiltrate Tucker and Ashley and figure out what they’re planning.
Diane says that the war with Ashley is tearing Jack apart, and eventually, it will tear Diane and Jack apart too… They have to stop the war, or they’ll never be free.
Jack agrees.

Tucker says he was commiserating about it with Billy just a moment before.
Billy says they weren’t commiserating… He tells Tucker that they’ll never be friends no matter what, and how he feels about what Jack is doing has nothing to do with Tucker or Tucker’s twisted agenda.
Billy only cares how Jack’s issue affects his family, and Tucker’s not family.
The Newman Ranch House
Adam asks if Victor’s pulling the plug on Adustus and throwing Adam out of the family again.

Abby says it’s been fun, but she has to go. She hugs her mom, tells her to think about what she said, and leaves.
Billy says Tucker knows how to clear a room.
Kyle and Audra come down the stairs together, barely missing Abby as she leaves.
They look into the restaurant, and Audra asks Kyle what he thinks.
Kyle says they have nothing to hide.
Tucker and Ashley watch them sit at the bar. Tucker smirks, and Ashley says, “What the hell is that all about?”
Tucker says they’re obviously just a couple of co-workers having a platonic drink together.
Ashley thinks it looks a lot friendlier than that.
Tucker says Kyle and Audra make a good couple.
Billy says hello to Kyle. He asks why Kyle hadn’t joined Jack at the wedding.
Kyle says he had meetings all afternoon and couldn’t get away.
Billy thinks it’s odd that Kyle couldn’t support his mom and dad on their wedding day.
Diane and Jack walk into the club, and Diane says she didn’t expect to see Kyle in there that night… She doesn’t really want him around for this.
Jack says there’s still time to call it off.

The Newman Ranch House
Victor says Adam’s only paying him lip service when he says he can give up his crusade against Victor and his family.
Adam asks if that’s it, then… Is this drink a farewell drink?
Victor says it’s a warning. He will put the companies together, and Adam, Nick, and Sharon will work under his tutelage. He wants to see them work together in unity.
Adam says he’s the luckiest black sheep there is.
Victor says those are the terms… Take them or leave them.
Adam says he looks forward to Victor’s lessons. He gets up and says he offered Phyllis Summers the Head of IT job.
Victor says he’s sure it wasn’t a joint decision.
Adam says it wasn’t, and he just proved Victor’s point. Adam leaves.

Jack tells Billy he wishes that he’d shown up as well.
Billy says that Jack knows how he feels about it.
Jack wishes Billy could have set aside his feelings for an afternoon to show support.
Billy says he can’t support a wedding that he thinks is irresponsible.
Jack warns Billy he’s testing his limits.
Billy says he’ll say it loud enough for everyone in the room to hear… He thinks the wedding was a mistake. It’s a disaster waiting to happen, and he can’t believe when Jack tries telling him that Diane is a changed woman. He says Jack’s own son didn’t even show up to their wedding.
Kyle asks Billy not to drag him into this… He supports his parents.
Billy scoffs and says that if Kyle was supportive, he would have spared an hour from his day to be with his parents. He says Kyle probably thinks deep down that Diane hurt him before and she’ll hurt him again.
Jack says that’s enough… He thinks Billy should leave.
Billy laughs and asks Jack if he thinks he owns the place now.
Jack says he won’t let Billy destroy the evening. He tells him to take a walk.
Billy says, “Or what?”

After beating the bag into submission, he relaxes.
