Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Summer struggled with her decisions, Nate spilled his regrets to Sharon, and Elena moved out of Nate’s.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki comes into the office and says that she thought Victoria was in L.A.
Victoria says that she came back early, and Nikki asks what happened.
Victoria tells Nikki that “plans change”.
Crimson Lights
Audra comes into the coffee shop and asks Elena if she found Nate and Victoria hard at work in L.A.
Elena says they were hard doing something.
Audra laughs.
Elena says that Victoria and Nate’s body language said everything about their intimacy.
Audra asks what she’s going to do now.
Elena shrugs and leaves the coffee shop.
Society
Adam and Chelsea sit at a table in the restaurant and talk about how Connor has been reticent and won’t talk to anyone since he found out about Sally’s baby.
Billy comes in, and Adam looks around at him.
Chelsea asks him not to say anything negative.
Sally’s Hotel Suite
Nick gets dressed and kneels down beside Sally, who’s still in bed.
Sally asks if he has time to stay and have breakfast in bed, but Nick says he has some pressing matters to handle.
She asks if he’s off to fight with Victor. She asks that he stay out of battle with Victor.
Nick says it’s not Victor’s decision to make her leave town. He says that he’s got a bunch of work to follow up on, so he’ll do that.
They talk about business and she asks him if he’s good with putting what happened between Victor and her behind them.
Nick says he is. He tells her to take her vitamins and they kiss goodbye as he leaves.
Crimson Lights
Chelsea tells Adam that Connor will adjust once he’s older.
Adam says he wants to believe that. He leaves for the office.
Billy comes over and sits down with Chelsea, and says that she’s smiling.
He says that Adam was civil, and asks if Connor is still giving him the silent treatment.
Chelsea says that Connor has been sullen lately, and he just doesn’t want to talk.
Billy says that she showed Connor that it was ok to talk about his feelings, but it’s probably his age. He tells her that Connor trusts her, and that will get him through it.
Chelsea says she just wants to hold him and tell him everything’s ok, but he won’t let her.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki asks Victoria what’s bothering her.
Victoria stammers about how it’s nothing, but after a bit of pressing from Nikki tells her that something happened while she was away.
Nikki asks if it’s business or personal.
Victoria says that it started as business, but turned into personal… She took things a bit far with Nate.
Crimson Lights
Chloe meets with Sally and they talk about business plans.
Jill calls Sally, and Sally says they were just going to call her, and they have some staffing suggestions.
Sally listens for a minute, looking upset.
Crimson Lights
Elena tells Audra she told Nate he could go straight to hell.
Audra asks how she’s doing now.
Elena says she’s feeling numb.
Audra asks if she could forgive him.
Elena says she can’t. She tells Audra that she packed up and left the keys.
She says that she couldn’t sleep afterward, wondering why she put all that energy into the relationship.
Elena says she realizes that she hurt Devon for nothing and that she’d bent over backward making excuses for Nate.
She says she was disappointed with him the day he started working at Chancellor-Winters, but now she’s disgusted with him.
She says that Victoria can have Nate, they deserve each other.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki asks if she can assume that Victoria means…
Victoria closes the door and says that she and Nate had feelings for each other for a while, and they acted on it, even before they went to L.A. together.
Nikki says she sounds just like her father.
Victoria says that may be, but she can’t deny the connection she has with Nate.
Nikki asks if Victoria has thought about how her relationship with Nate would impact the company, as he’s an integral part of it.
Society
Nick walks up to Victor in the restaurant, waving at Billy and Chelsea as he passes them.
He tells Victor that he can’t keep up his crap.
Nick says that not only does Victor want to banish Sally from town, but he wants to take her baby away from her.
Crimson Lights
Chloe asks if the call was as bad as it sounded.
Sally says that right now, Jill wants to wait. She says that Chancellor-Winters doesn’t want to take on new projects at the moment.
Chloe asks if they should look for new clients or projects.
Sally says that they’re back at square one.
Adam comes in and hears the tail end of the conversation. He asks what’s going on.
Chloe says she should get going, and she’ll get in touch tomorrow.
She leaves, and Adam sits down with Sally.
Adam asks how bad things are.
Sally says that she won’t have an income anytime soon. She says that the design project didn’t come through for them, but she still has some savings, so everything’s fine.
Adam says he has another idea.
Sally says that if it’s about the trust for the baby…
Adam says it’s not about that, he’s not offering her money, he wants to give Sally a job and work with him.

Chelsea looks over her shoulder and wonders what’s going on with Victor and Nick.
Billy says that it’s just Victor being Victor.
He says that they should plan another get-together for Johnny and Connor, maybe Connor will re-think how nice it is to have siblings.
Chloe walks up to their table and Chelsea asks her what’s wrong.
Chloe laughs and asks if it’s that obvious. She says that the deal fell through with Jill.
Chelsea says that she needs a girls’ night.
She says that she has to go, she’s late for therapy. She leaves Billy and Chloe to talk.
Chloe says that Billy really stepped up with Chelsea.
Victor says that he won’t be taken advantage of by people like Sally.
Nick says that Sally told him that she’s not for sale.
Victor wonders if Sally was negotiating for more money by turning him down.
Nick says not everything is a negotiation. He says that it’s one of Victor’s tests, and Sally passed it, so Victor needs to leave her and the baby alone.
Crimson Lights
Sally asks Adam what company she would be working for.
Adam says that it would be for McCall.
Sally asks if he’s only accepting Victor’s proposal to run the company so that she could work for him.
Adam says she could be the CEO, or name her own position… She could even bring Chloe along.
Sally says he needs to slow down… Victor would lose it if she was brought on board at McCall.
She tells Adam that Victor offered her money to move out of Genoa City and leave her baby with the Newman family.
Adam says he knew he should have gone with Sally to meet Victor.
Sally says she handled it on her own. She asks him to not fan the fire with Victor.
She says doesn’t need Adam to protect her, she’s not a damsel in distress. She says she fights her own battles.
Elena tells Audra that she needs to go to work.
Audra asks where she’s going, whether it’s going to be at Newman, or…?
Elena says she has to work some shifts at the hospital to make up for her trip to L.A.
Audra says she should go to Newman and make sure to get J.T. for the podcast… That’d be a real slap in the face to Victoria.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria says that nothing will happen to the company.
Nikki says that Victoria’s getting involved with Nate personally, and she thinks that the relationship is starting off on a bad footing.
Victoria says she’s doing just fine.
Nikki says she hopes those don’t become famous last words.
Nick comes in and sits down.
He says that Victor tried to pay off Sally and that Victor ignored all his warnings to stay clear of her.
Nikki says she needs to get some work done, excuses herself, and asks Nick to see her later.
She leaves Victoria and Nick to talk.
Nick asks what he just walked in on.
Victoria says that Nikki and Elena both know about her and Nate.
Nick shakes his head.
Victoria says that things are over between Nate and Elena now.
Nick asks how she could be so calm about it… Did she get what she wanted?
Crimson Lights
Sally tells Adam that she gets it, she’s fighting for two, but she still doesn’t need his help to fight against Victor.
Adam says he understands, he’ll stay out of it.
He says that the offer is still up for McCall and lists some benefits that McCall will provide… And maybe they’ll even have some on-site babysitting.
Adam says that Sally is what he’s looking for to help run the company. He gets up and leaves Sally in the coffee shop.
Society
Billy asks why Chloe thinks he’s stepping up.
Chloe says that Chelsea’s mentioned a few things, and she knows something’s going on between them.
Billy says he doesn’t need a pat on the back for being who he is.
Chloe says that Chelsea needs someone who can be there for her.
Chancellor Park
Adam walks up to Victor in the park and says they need to talk.
Victor asks what’s up.
Adam says he’ll accept the CEO position only if Victor agrees that he will run it autonomously and that his daughter and Sally are off-limits.
Victor laughs and says that Sally Spectra came running to both of his sons in order to turn them against his father.
Adam says that Sally passed Victor’s test, and asks if Victor agrees with him.
Victor says that he’s not one to have terms dictated to him, but because Adam is his son, he’ll accept them and will stay around until Adam needs some advice.
Adam says they have a deal. They shake on it.
Crimson Lights
Audra tells Elena that it’d be sweet revenge on Victoria to get J.T. back in town.
Elena says Nate has no loyalties and thinks that he can’t do anything wrong.
As they’re speaking Nate comes into the coffee shop and overhears them.
He quickly ducks out of sight when Elena leaves.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria tells Nick that she takes no pleasure in Elena’s pain.
Nick asks why she went on the trip when she knew what could happen between her and Nate.
Victoria says that she stayed out of it when Nick was with Sally. She says that it’s her life and her decision to make about Nate, so Nick should back off.
Nick says that Sally is no longer part of Newman Enterprises, and Nate is… He says that if Nate’s not loyal to his family or who he lives with, what makes her think that he’ll be loyal to her or to Newman Enterprises?
Chancellor Park
Victor asks what Adam’s plans are for running McCall.
Adam says that he’s got it planned out, and he’s glad that Victor’s agreed to his terms.
He says that he’s offered Sally a job of her pleasing, and as per their agreement, he wants Victor to stay out of it.
Victor asks, “Why Sally?”
Adam says it doesn’t matter.
