Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Danny ran out of the apartment after Christine & Phyllis started fighting, and Abby’s anxiety spiked when Amanda confronted her.
Newman Enterprises
Nick and his father talk business, but Victor seems distracted.
Victor says he appreciates the work Nick has done on the report.
Nick says he’s trying to help Victor… He knows he’s got a lot on his plate lately.
Victor says that’s putting things mildly. He’s never needed Nick or Adam more to help at Newman than he has now.
Nick says Adam was pretty upset that Victor vetoed his idea of opening a design division.
Victor shrugs and says Adam may be slightly upset, but he’ll get over it.
Nick asks if it’s a definite “no” from Victor on Adam’s idea.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Chloe walks into the dining room and sits down with Sally. She tells Sally the magazine feature they were counting on has been pushed until June. She hoped the feature would get them new contracts since the photos were amazing, but apparently, the magazine wanted to feature something else this month. She doesn’t know how they’ll hold out until summer.
Sally is distracted and says, “That’s not good.”
Chloe can’t believe that’s all Sally has to say… Their company is on the line! They need to start making money to pay rent for their office space and to pay themselves.
Sally says Chloe’s right, and it sucks, but she’s having problems focusing because she’s mad at Adam. She says Adam went behind her back, and it’s infuriating.
Chloe grins. She says there’s something to cheer her up… What did Adam do now to make Sally ditch him?
Adam’s Apartment
Adam pours a coffee for himself and Chelsea. He thanks her for coming over to talk.
Chelsea says she’s stressed out by Connor’s report from the school’s psychologist.
Adam says he thought they would recommend some learning accommodations for Connor, but the report said that Connor has most likely got OCD.
Chelsea says the psychologist wasn’t completely sure and wants Connor to see a specialist and get more testing done. She’s overwhelmed.
Adam wonders if the doctor knows what she’s talking about.
Newman Ranch
Nikki paces around the living room before wandering over to the bar tray. She mutters to herself that the booze is all gone… Why bother looking for it?
Nikki hears a noise outside. She pulls the curtain aside and looks outside but doesn’t see anything.
Nikki says if Jordan is outside, she should just come and get her so they can end this. She won’t be Jordan’s prisoner again! She hears a door open and cries out, asking who’s there.
Lauren walks into the room, and Nikki is visibly relieved.
The Empty Glass Lounge
Jordan sits at a table alone, drinking. She picks up her phone and looks at it, waiting for something.
Seth enters the bar, and she beckons for him to join her. Seth greets “Isabelle” and sits down with her.
Jordan asks if she can get him a drink… She’s got an open tab.
Seth declines.
Jordan says she was happy to get his text and asks if the meeting with Nikki went well.
Seth shrugs and says he wouldn’t go that far… They met and talked.
Jordan says she’d call that a victory; Seth should be proud of himself!
Seth says it wasn’t easy, but he’s glad he did it. He wouldn’t have done it without Isabelle’s urging; he appreciates her support.
Jordan says she only told him she was sorry she lost Nikki as a friend; Seth did what she couldn’t do! She asks how Nikki seemed and wants Seth to tell her everything… She’s dying to hear!
Adam’s Apartment
Adam thinks an OCD diagnosis is “out of left field” and thinks the school is on the wrong track.
Chelsea says the teachers mentioned Connor was washing his hands all the time.
Adam says Connor is conscientious… Maybe he doesn’t want to get sick and miss classes because he’s already struggling. He wonders how they arrived at their OCD diagnosis based on his hand washing.
Chelsea says she doesn’t have any answers, but they can’t dismiss the possibility just because it scares them. The psychologist saw some behaviors that concerned her, so they have to do whatever they can to get to the bottom of it.
Adam wonders how they’re supposed to do anything when they don’t know anything about the disorder. He pulls out his phone.
Chelsea tells him not to look on the Internet… It’s a rabbit hole he won’t want to go down.
Adam says he’s not looking things up; he’s going straight to the source. He puts the phone to his ear.
The GCAC Dining Room
Sally tells Chloe that Adam tried to save their company without consulting her first.
Chloe is outraged and says it’s none of Adam’s business. How dare he swoop in and offer cash for a controlling interest in her company? This is obviously a way for Adam to get back at Nick!
Sally says it’s not really like that. Adam talked to Nick about his plans, which infuriated her more… Like they needed to come up with a plan to rescue her!
Chloe says she’s all for having Nick around but doesn’t want Adam near their company. She asks what Adam’s “big idea” was.
Sally says Adam tried to convince Victor to bring their company under the Newman umbrella.
Chloe is aghast. She says Victor screwed them over the first time, and she imagines that Victor laughed in Adam’s face when he asked.
Sally says she’s not sure… Adam said that Victor is still considering the idea. As much as she hates that Adam didn’t talk to her first, she thinks it’s not the worst idea.
Newman Enterprises
Victor tells Nick it sounds like he’s reconsidering Adam’s proposal to bail out Sally’s design company.
Nick says it was Adam’s idea, but Nick sees its logic.
Victor asks if Nick’s investment with Sally is in trouble.
Nick says it is, but that’s not his concern. He would have invested more if he could. He believes in Sally’s talent.
Victor says if Newman took over Sally’s design firm, Nick wouldn’t have as much contact with her.
Nick asks if Victor thinks Adam is trying to get him out of Sally’s life completely.
Victor thinks that’s a possibility. He likes that Adam and Nick are working together but doesn’t like that Adam could be stirring up trouble.
Nick says he appreciates his dad looking out for him, but he’s not concerned whether he’s in or out of Sally’s life. He says he was a silent partner in her company, and they made a deal that he’d have no say in how she runs her business.
Victor asks if Nick considers Adam’s proposal to be a move against him.
Nick says he’s sure Adam would love it if Nick were entirely out of Sally’s life, but Nick believes that Adam is doing it because he wants what’s best for Sally.
Victor says it seems Nick wants the best for Sally even though she’s broken his heart.
Nick shrugs. He says relationships end, and he won’t apologize for wanting what’s best for Sally.
Victor thinks that’s generous of Nick.
Nick says Adam may have pursued Sally while he was in a relationship with her, but that doesn’t change the reality of the situation… Adam and Sally are supposed to be together.
Victor says he still has no reason to accept Adam’s proposal.
Nick says Victor likes seeing him and Adam work together, and keeping Adam happy is part of it. If Adam doesn’t get his way, he could revert to his old “devious” ways… And Nick can’t have that! If Victor wants them to keep working together, they need to keep Adam happy.
Victor nods. Makes sense. He says Nick needs to ensure there’s something in it for Newman Enterprises. Business is business!
Nick agrees.
Victor says there’s something else they need to discuss… He’s worried about Nikki. He says Jordan keeps calling her.
Newman Ranch
Lauren gets off the phone with the Newman head of security. She tells Nikki that the guards have all reported in, and there’s been no breach in their security. She asks if she should call Victor.
Nikki’s glad there’s no security incident. She says Lauren doesn’t need to call Victor; he’d rush home and double down on security.
Lauren nods. She says they should talk about some stuff from the office.
Nikki says she can’t concentrate right now; she’s too wound up. She asks Lauren to take her out of the house… Anywhere!
Lauren says Victor wanted her to stay home.
Nikki says she’s jumping out of her skin at every little noise… How is that healthy? She will lose her mind if she doesn’t have a change of scenery. She begs Lauren to take her somewhere that doesn’t serve alcohol. She needs to get out of the house!
Lauren finally agrees. She says they’ll have Nikki’s driver take them to Crimson Lights, where a security detail will watch them. They’ll have one cup of tea, and then they’ll come straight back to the ranch. She tells Nikki not to make her regret her decision.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam thanks Sharon for coming over and talking with them.
Sharon is sorry to hear that Connor is having problems.
Adam says this time it’s different, and they were hoping Sharon could help them understand what’s happening.
Sharon asks what the school has told them so far.
Adam says the psychiatrist thinks Connor has OCD.
Chelsea says it’s not confirmed yet, and it’s one of many possibilities. She says they want Connor to see a specialist and have further testing.
Adam is worried they’re labeling Connor for “no reason” and that they’re freaking him out.
Chelsea asks Sharon what they’re looking at if it is OCD.
Sharon’s quick to say she’s not an expert on OCD, but she knows that people with OCD have intrusive thoughts and go through rituals to block them out.
Chelsea asks if hand washing could be one of those rituals.
Sharon nods. She says it could be other things like cleaning the house and checking things repeatedly. She says it’s a common misconception that those symptoms are the disease, but they’re actually a coping mechanism.
Adam says Connor hasn’t said anything about intrusive thoughts, and the school has only said he’s withdrawn from certain activities.
Chelsea says Connor hasn’t been eating, either. He’s been throwing away his lunches.
Adam says that can’t be OCD… It must be something else.
Sharon says they should take the psychologist’s advice and have Connor evaluated. She says an expert could give them more insight. She says it’s important that they don’t panic.
Adam doesn’t think that’s possible. They’ve just discovered that Connor had a serious “issue,” but nobody can tell them what it is or how to fix it! He wants answers now.
Sharon says she knows it’s scary when a child is hurting. Issues like these can be complex to diagnose.
Adam thinks the school is wasting their time.
Sharon says they need to take it one step at a time… They need to have a confirmed diagnosis before they know how to help him, and it might not even be OCD.
Adam asks what they’re going to do if it is OCD.
Sharon says they’ll work with a doctor who will help them with a treatment plan. Connor will get the care and attention he needs; they’re both wonderful parents. She has no doubts that they’ll be able to get Connor through his problems.
Adam says she’s right, but he hates it.
Sharon says the best thing they can do right now for Connor is to be a soothing presence. They’ll find the experts that can help and go from there. She looks at her phone and says she has a meeting to get to.
Adam thanks her for talking them through it.
Sharon says she’s happy to use her training. Connor’s a great kid. She leaves.
Chelsea says Adam was right to call Sharon, but she’s still terrified.
Adam says he’s terrified, too, but Sharon’s right… Connor needs them. He’s sorry he panicked… He’ll keep his fears in check, and they’ll get Connor whatever help he needs.

Crimson Lights
Nikki takes a sip of tea and tells Lauren it may be the best cup of tea she’s ever had. She thanks Lauren for taking her out… She feels like she’s been sprung from prison!
Lauren says she can see that, but even though they have the security detail with them, she doesn’t like going against Victor’s wishes.
Nikki tells her not to worry about Victor; she’ll handle him. She’s just happy to be outside! She says time goes by slowly when she’s alone.
Lauren says she thought Seth visited Nikki earlier.
Nikki says he did. It wasn’t a cheery conversation, though… He’s still drinking.
Lauren says Nikki should have sent Seth away.
Nikki says she couldn’t… People in AA help each other.
Lauren thinks Seth’s visit seemed “draining” on Nikki.
Nikki says Seth said something that’s been bothering her… He said that someone from their meetings encouraged him to contact her. They’re a private group, and people don’t usually hang out with each other outside of the meetings. She doesn’t know who would be so bold as to urge him to call her.
The Empty Glass Lounge
Seth tells Jordan that Nikki seems to be a lot stronger than he is lately. He says Nikki is sober and saw that he was in a “buzzed all day” stage, which was humiliating for him.
Jordan says he shouldn’t think that way.
Seth says he can’t think any other way. He was supposed to be there for Nikki, but he failed her. Now he’s a mess, and Nikki sees it.
Jordan says there’s no humiliation in reaching out to a friend. It takes strength to do so, and she’s sure Nikki knows that.
Seth shrugs. Maybe. He says Nikki said they could meet for coffee sometime, but he’s not sure.
Jordan says she’s sure Seth will see her again.
Seth asks why she cares so much about him and Nikki.
Jordan says it’s comforting to see two friends repair their friendship.
Seth asks why “Isabelle” doesn’t reach out to Nikki herself if she means so much to her.
Jordan says it’s too late for her.
Seth says “Isabelle” has a stronger connection with Nikki than he ever had. She has a real history with Nikki!
Jordan says her hurt runs deep.
Seth says she needs to take her own advice. Take a risk and reach out! He says they should all go to a meeting together. That way, Isabelle could reconnect with Nikki on safe, supportive ground.
Jordan laughs and says she couldn’t do that.
Seth asks why not… What isn’t she telling him?
The GCAC Dining Room
Chloe says Sally’s wrong… This is the worst idea ever, and her judgment is being clouded by being sucked back in by Adam!
Sally asks Chloe to just stop.
Chloe says she only wants to point out that this could turn into a train wreck.
Sally says she knows that Chloe doesn’t want her with Adam, but this has nothing to do with her personal relationship with him. She says she was ready to bring her design firm into Newman before.
Chloe says she knows… It was an awful idea then, and it’s an awful idea now. They can’t trust Victor.
Sally thinks it might be different this time. She asks if Chloe is ready to give up on everything they’ve worked so hard for. She says their work is great and she’s not giving up on it… They have a 100% success rate!
Chloe says they’ve only had a few clients right now.
Sally says Newman Enterprises is a powerhouse… They won’t have to hustle for gigs anymore.
Chloe says they’ll lose their autonomy and will have Adam breathing down their necks, teling them how to run the company. Is that what Sally wants?
Sally says Adam swore he wouldn’t do that.
Chloe says Victor will get in a mood and get rid of them.
Sally says Adam promised he’d protect them from Victor.
Chloe says Sally needs to trust her on this… Getting into bed with Adam was a huge mistake, and getting into bed with Newman Enterprises is an even bigger mistake.
The Empty Glass Lounge
Jordan tells Seth she’s not hiding anything; she’s just not ready to take the step that Seth took.
Seth says he’s confused. Isabelle had a deep friendship with Nikki, didn’t she?
Jordan says that’s why she won’t reach out. It hurt her too much when Nikki cut her off, even though she understood why she did it. She says she hasn’t been able stay sober since then, but Seth’s slip is more recent… He has hope and can get back on track!
Seth says he believes Isabelle can, too. She reached out to him.
Jordan says she reached out to him in a bar… It’s a big jump from talking about Nikki Newman in a bar to seeing her face-to-face at an AA meeting. She hopes he can understand that.
Seth shakes his head. He’s not sure he does.
Jordan says she’s only trying to help Seth reconnect. That’s all she needs today. Maybe in the future she can get there, but for now, this is all she can do. She says people in the group help each other.
Newman Enterprises
Nick asks his father how the phone calls from Jordan are affecting Nikki.
Victor says Nikki is getting better, but he’s worried about her, especially now that she wants to set her own trap for Jordan.
Nick thinks setting a trap is a terrible idea. He asks what kind of trap Nikki wants to set.
Victor says Nikki wants to provoke Jordan into coming after her.
Nick doesn’t think that’s a good idea.
Victor says he’s going to do everything in his power to get to Jordan first. He thinks the best way to do that is through Claire.
Nick says Claire is in a maximum security psychiatric ward. Does Victor think Jordan will be able to get to her?
Victor says he’ll make it easier for Jordan to have access to Claire… He’s going to pull some strings and have Claire released into Victoria’s custody.
Nick says Claire’s been through a lot and it’s early in her treatment… Does Victor think an early release is a good thing for her?
Victor says he’s spoken to the doctors, who say that Claire is doing better and Claire is bonding with Victoria.
Nick loves hearing that she’s doing better, but worries that Victor could cause a setback by interfering.
Victor says he’s talked to Claire and she wants Jordan behind bars just as much as they do. He says if Claire doesn’t feel comfortable with the plan, she can go back to the hospital and continue her treatment. In the meantime, she’ll provide better access to Jordan than anyone else could.
The GCAC Dining Room
Adam walks up to Sally and Chloe’s table and says hello.
Chloe says, “Look at the time! I’ve got to go!”
Adam says he doesn’t want to interrupt their meeting.
Sally says it’s fine… They’ve covered everything.
Chloe tells Sally that she shouldn’t make any major decisions in the meantime.
Sally agrees and Chloe leaves the club.
Adam asks if he can join Sally at her table. He wants to talk some things over with her.
Sally asks if he’s okay. She asks if there are any updates on Connor.
Adam explains that the school is asking for more tests to rule out any serious issues.
Sally says not knowing must be hard.
Adam agrees. He’s not sure how to help his kid.
Sally gives him a hug. She asks if he’d like to take a walk and get some air.
Adam says he’s fine… They’ll get to the bottom of Connor’s problem and get him the help he needs.
Sally says of course they will… Connor has the greatest parents, and he’s going to get through it.
Adam says he figures Chloe must be angry about his idea to bring Sally’s business into Newman.
Sally nods. She says it’s no secret that Chloe isn’t Adam’s biggest fan.
Adam says he’s more concerned about where Sally’s head is… Is she still mad at him? Does she understand why he went to Nick and his father before he talked to her?
Newman Enterprises
Nick tells Victor there’s a fatal flaw with his plan to involve Claire… Victoria will never allow Victor to use Claire as bait.
Victor says all he asked Claire to do was to deliver a message to Jordan for him. The message is that Victor wants to make amends for having done so many horrible things to Jordan’s sister, Eve.
Nick asks if Victor thinks Jordan will fall for it, especially after she heard him say so many horrible things about her sister.
Victor says Jordan is arrogant enough to think she can pull the wool over his eyes and trick him. He’ll turn the tables on her when she thinks she’s succeeded!
Chancellor-Winters
Chelsea enters Billy’s office and tells him that she’s glad he’s not in a meeting. She tells him that the school thinks Connor has OCD, but they need to do more tests to make sure.
Billy says he’s sorry to hear that. He says he doesn’t know much about OCD other than what he’s heard in the movies.
Chelsea says most people don’t know much about it. She says she and Adam spent a long time with Sharon talking about it, and it’s a bigger problem than she realized. She’s scared. She says Adam started spiraling, and she needed to be the one to stay calm.
Billy says Adam is always the one to draw attention to himself.
Chelsea says Adam is just scared… They both are. She says Sharon calmed them both down.
Billy is glad Sharon is there for them.
Chelsea says they’re just waiting for the tests so they know what’s happening. She says she can’t think straight because her son is suffering and is in pain. She says she spoke to Connor on the phone and he’s scared and doesn’t understand what’s wrong with him. She says the school doesn’t want her to go to see Connor, but after this news, she needs to see him.
Billy says they’ll go this weekend; he’ll drive! He says this is big, and Chelsea needs to be there for Connor, which means Billy needs to be there for her. He’s not going to let her go through this alone! They hug.
The GCAC Dining Room
Sally tells Adam she’s not ready to forgive him, if that’s what he’s asking.
Adam swears he wasn’t trying to go behind her back; he just wanted to make sure it was possible before he got her hopes up. He would never commit to anything on her behalf and only wanted to create an opening for her.
Sally says she was upset because it seemed like Adam wanted to control her company and future.
Adam says he knows that now, but that was never his intention. He’s sorry. He screwed up!
Sally says she can see his logic and that he wanted to make sure that his family was okay with the move before he approached her.
Adam says it sounds like Sally is coming around to the idea.
Sally nods and says that having the power of Newman Enterprises behind them would open a lot of doors.
Adam asks if she’s ready to take the leap.
Sally asks him to tell her if it’s even possible… Has Victor made up his mind?
Newman Enterprises
Nikki and Lauren walk into the living room.
Victor sees them come in and says when he came home, she was gone… Where has she been? He asks Lauren why she let Nikki leave the house.
Nikki tells him not to blame Lauren… She tried to talk her out of it. She explains that they went to Crimson Lights for a cup of tea and were perfectly safe.
Lauren says she had the security detail come with them, and they weren’t out of their sight for a moment.
Victor says he knows that, he’s seen the security team’s report. He tells Nikki that they had agreed that she wouldn’t leave the house and put herself at risk.
Nikki says she can’t live like a prisoner. Being cooped up makes the urge to drink stronger and brings back the feelings of being locked up at the lake house.
The Empty Glass Lounge
Seth tells “Isabelle” he’s glad she helped him out and wishes he could do the same for her.
Jordan says he can help her by letting her live vicariously through him while he mends his relationship with Nikki. She says that will give her strength and the hope that she’ll be able to do the same. She asks when Seth will see Nikki next.
Seth says he’s not sure… They haven’t made plans.
Jordan tells him to not lose momentum… Invite her out for coffee.
Seth says he got the sense that Nikki wasn’t ready to leave her house… Maybe there were too many temptations in the outside world!
Jordan says she understands that. She says Nikki won’t be able to survive living in a glass tower. That’s not real sobriety! Maybe Seth can be the one to bring Nikki out of her shell… Wouldn’t that be a wonderful way to help their dear friend Nikki?
Newman Ranch
Victor kisses Nikki and tells her that he knows it’s a nightmare for her, and that’s why he’s determined to put the second part of his plan in motion.
Nikki thanks him. She doesn’t know how much longer she can take this.
Victor promises her it won’t be much longer.

Billy is 💯 about Devon. It is his way or no way. Devon is against the name change but wants Abby on the board and brought her in without consulting anyone. I hope the board votes against her. Devon should have never merged with Chancellor, then he could dictate what happens with his own company. Nate acts like he is running the company. He and Devon need to learn to be team players. Abby is a spoiled entitled “Karen”.
I’m sick of Phyllis and her character is getting more irritating. Send her to somewhere far away. When she starts her swarming actions why don’t people just walk away.
Mamie and what’s his name are boring. Send them with Phyllis.
