Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Adam agreed to run McCall and offered Sally a job, while Victoria admitted that she slept with Nate.
Crimson Lights
Daniel messages Summer asking to meet with her.
Summer comes into the coffee shop at that moment and sees Daniel.
She turns around to leave.
Sharon sees Summer and gives her a hug.
Society
Tucker asks Ashley what’s bothering her.
Ashley says Diane living with them is driving her out of her mind.
Tucker says it’s cosmic karma.
Ashley says that Diane has an ankle monitor, so she’s stuck with her.
Tucker says that Diane knows how to disappear.
Ashley says that she wishes she’d do it again, and Tucker looks at her, thinking.
Chancellor Park
Sally has a bite to eat and asks her belly if it’s satisfied yet.
Adam calls Sally and says that McCall is his, and he’s ready to get his team in place.
Nick walks up behind Sally and eavesdrops on her.
Sally says that she’ll let Adam know.
Nick smiles and says it sounds like good news, that Jill probably gave the thumbs-up to the project.
Sally says, “Not quite.” She asks that he listens to what she has to say, but he has to stay calm about it.
Society
Tucker says that he’ll try to distract Ashley with more pleasurable thoughts while he lives under the same roof and that he’ll try to make Diane’s stay as unpleasant as possible.
Adam comes by and says a snarky greeting.
He says that he’s in charge of McCall, Tucker’s “failed” company.
Tucker says that he had heard the news.
Adam says that the books were terrible, and he wonders how he let the company get that bad.
Ashley says that Tucker was busy getting his life in order and says that she’s surprised that Adam is running anything more than a lemonade stand.
Adam walks away, and Ashley asks how Tucker resisted punching Adam in the face.
Tucker says that he thinks Ashley is falling for him.
Crimson Lights
Sharon asks Summer why she’s not giving Kyle any of her time lately.
Summer tells Sharon that she’s trying to conserve her energy lately and is keeping to herself.
Sharon says that however Summer is feeling, there is a community of people around her who will love and support her.
Summer says that it’s easier to be alone right now so she can deal with her feelings.
Daniel comes over and says he needs to speak with Summer alone.
Chancellor Park
Sally tells Nick that she got some “not great news” from Jill, and the contract is on hold for now.
Nick says that the good news is delayed, that’s not so bad.
Sally says she will treat it as a “maybe”, and not a sure thing.
Nick asks if it means that she’s going to take him up on his proposal.
Sally says it’s a different proposal that she’s considering… She’d be working at McCall with Adam.
Nick asks if she’s thinking of taking the job.
Sally says she needs to live, so yes. She says she thought she’d have more time to think it through, but Adam wants to get his team together.
Nick says that Adam will do anything to worm his way into her life.
Sally sneers and says that Adam couldn’t possibly want her because she’s good at running a company.
Nick says that Victor bought the company to get Adam under control and that Sally and her baby don’t need the stress that Victor will add to the situation.
Jabot Cosmetics
Ashley runs into Jack in the office lobby.
She asks if Jack is going to kick her out of the office now.
Jack says he loves her and wants to end their feud. He invites her into his office to talk and closes the door behind them.
He asks Ashley if she’s still bitter about Diane.
Ashley says she is, and he’d better not tell her how to feel.
Jack says that she has feelings for Tucker, and that’s twisting her perception.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane goes out on the patio, and Tucker comes out to talk with her.
She says that it’s a big house, and asks Tucker to find a different place to hang out.
Crimson Lights
Daniel and Summer sit and talk in hushed voices.
Summer says that he judges her, and that’s why Phyllis never came to talk to him.
Daniel says that Phyllis called him too.
Summer asks if he’s sure.
Daniel says that he isn’t sure, someone called him from an unknown number and stayed on the line for a while, silent, and it’s driving him crazy. He’s positive it was Phyllis, though.
Summer says she’s struggling and trying to help their mom and that she’s afraid for her.
Chance walks into the coffee shop and stands out of sight watching while Daniel and Summer talk.
Summer gets angry and tells Daniel that he’s going to ruin her marriage. She leaves.

Jabot Cosmetics
Jack says that Ashley had told him not to get involved with Diane and used herself as an example, saying that she knew better than to get involved with Tucker, but look where that led… Now Tucker’s living with them!
Ashley says she doesn’t have to listen to him.
Jack says he fell in love with Diane again, and he knows that she really did change.
Ashley asks why it’s not the same for her as it is for him.
Jack says that it’s because Tucker hasn’t changed.
Ashley says that Diane hasn’t changed, and Jack can take his Psych 101 crap and shove it.
Jack says that he can open his heart for Diane, but she can’t do the same for Tucker.
Ashley leaves and slams the door behind her.
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker sits down and says that he doesn’t think that Diane killed Phyllis, but there’s plenty of proof to convict her, and her past will come into court.
Diane scoffs and thanks him for bringing that up.
Tucker says that Jack and Kyle will be crushed when she’s facing life in prison.
Diane says that’s the worst pep talk ever.
Tucker says she doesn’t need a pep talk, she needs a way out… And he knows how to get her out.
Chancellor Park
Sally says she’s thinking of her baby’s future and that’s why she wants the job.
Nick says that she doesn’t need a job from Adam.
Sally says she really needs a career, a profession. She says that it could be her chance to get back in the game.
Nick says that if she goes to work with Adam, it’ll be one of the bigger mistakes of her life.
Sally says she didn’t ask for his opinion.
Nick says he speaks from years of experience, and that Adam will chip away at everything until she’s left with nothing.
Sally says that he shouldn’t speak for her.
Crimson Lights
Chance asks Daniel how things are.
Daniel says that things aren’t great, considering the situation.
Chance says that he’s seen a lot of families fall apart in situations like this.
Daniel says that Diane’s out on bail, and asks if there are any updates.
Chance says that he doesn’t think Diane worked alone, and that there will be justice.
The Abbott Mansion
Tucker tells Diane that he could give her money and make her disappear.
Diane says that it’s more like Ashley that wants that, and Tucker thinks that Ashley would invite him into her bed if he got Diane to leave.
Tucker brushes that off, saying that Diane really worked hard to rebuild her relationship with Jack and Kyle. He asks Diane if she really wants to put them through the hell of having her go to jail.
Diane says that the conversation is over.
Sally’s Room at the GCAC
Chloe walks into Sally’s room and asks whether she should put in the order for the desk lamps.
Sally says she wants to get right to the point… She was offered a job to work with Adam.
Chloe interrupts and says that Sally can’t just dump their plans and go work for Adam. She rants for a bit about how terrible it was working for him before.
Sally says that Adam told her that she can have whatever job she wants and that he said that Chloe could come with her. She asks if Chloe still hates Adam.
Chloe says she does, and that if Sally is willing to work with Adam, she must be willing to reconsider Nick’s offer.
Sally says that she’s tired of everyone telling her how to live her own life.
Chloe tells Sally to remember what it was like working for Adam before… It didn’t go very well.
Sally says that was a long time ago, and she’s proven herself as CEO and COO.
Chloe asks if she’s going to abandon their plans just because Jill put their project on hold.
She says that she doesn’t want to work for Adam again and that she doesn’t want her income dependent on his moods.
Sally throws up her arms.
Chloe says it’s her life, Sally knows what’s best for her, and Chloe knows what’s best for her. She says if Sally accepts the offer, she’ll be accepting it solo.
Chloe goes to leave and says that Sally has to think hard about it… Whether she wants freedom or to be tied to Adam in every way possible.
Chancellor Park
Adam walks through the park, and Nick calls to him and asks him what the hell he was thinking.
Adam says he was thinking about walking through the park.
Nick asks if Adam offered Sally the job to insinuate himself into her life.
Crimson Lights
Sharon talks with Chance, saying that things seemed pretty tense between Daniel and Summer.
Chance says that Daniel seems to be adding to the stress, not helping it.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack comes home and tells Diane that he hopes she had a chance to relax while he was gone.
Diane says that all she can think about is going to jail.
Jack asks her to talk with him, tell him what’s going on.
Diane says that Tucker offered to help her run so that Jack and Kyle don’t have to see her go to jail.
Jack says that it’s her home, and she shouldn’t leave.
Diane says that she thinks that it might be a good idea, there’s a good chance she’ll go to jail, and she’s angry at herself that she wants to run.
She says she should have never come back if all she was going to do was cause Jack pain.
Chancellor Park
Adam says he offered Sally a job and says that he thought that he and Nick were on the same page about looking out for the baby’s welfare.
Nick says that it’s not about that.
Adam asks what he has to offer for Sally. He says that he loves Sally and will always be there for her, and asks if Nick can say the same.
Nick doesn’t say anything and Adam walks away.
Sally’s Room
Sally sits at home and looks at a notepad with “Pros” and “Cons” on it.
“Pros: Exciting career change, paying job, no more hustling.”
“Cons: Adam, Nick.”
The Abbott Mansion
Jack tells Diane that she doesn’t need to leave and they’ll fix the situation, they will find a way to prove that Jeremy framed her. He says that Michael is working hard at finding evidence to exonerate her.
Diane says that whoever killed Jeremy might have some answers.
Jack says that’s true, and they’ll find the person who killed Stark too.
Diane says she’s not going to run and she’ll stay and fight the charges. She says she’s going to do it for Jack and Kyle.
She says that Tucker made her see that she has to make things better for Summer, and she doesn’t want to hurt Kyle & Summer’s relationship.
Crimson Lights
Daniel messages Jack.
“Can we meet? There’s something you need to hear.”
