Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Nick & Adam bonded as Sally made a painful decision, while Sharon came to terms with killing Cameron.
Crimson Lights
Sharon turns the coffee shop’s sign to “closed”, and Faith helps Sharon close the cafe for the night.
Faith goes to the patio and flashes back to her kidnapping.
Sharon asks if she’s alright, and Faith says she just had a “moment.”
Sharon tells Faith that she will probably have many of those memories in the coming days. She tells Faith to talk to Sharon, Nick, or someone she trusts about it.
Chance comes into the cafe and says he came to check on them. He figured they’d take a day off.
Sharon says they thought treating things as a normal day would be better.
Faith says she’s going to get him some scones, as he saved their lives. She goes to the counter and leaves Chance to talk to Sharon.
Chance asks how Faith and Sharon are.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Adam comes to see Sally in her hospital room.
He looks in at her, but her eyes are closed. Adam walks away.
Sally opens her eyes and looks after him.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki comes into the office and tells Victoria she needs a hug. She says she’s never going to take anyone for granted.
Victoria hugs Nikki.
Nikki says that Cameron made Nick choose between Sharon’s and Faith’s lives.
Victoria says that Nick really needs to take some time off because of the trauma he’s been through.
Nikki says that the last thing Nick needs in his life is more upheaval. She says it’s not just about Cameron; Sally lost the baby.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Nick comes to visit Sally and asks if she’s awake.
Sally looks over at him, and he drops a bag with a blueberry muffin inside on the counter.
Nick sits down and asks if there’s anything he can do.
Sally says Adam showed up this morning, and she pretended she was asleep. She says that Adam let their baby die, and he wants forgiveness.
Nick says that Adam lost his child too.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria tells Nikki that her heart goes out to Nick, Sally, and Adam. She says that Nick will still need to take time off to recover.
Nikki asks if she’s saying this out of sisterly concern.
Victoria says that Nikki told her to take time off after the Ashland incident.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Sally tells Nick that Adam chose to let the baby die.
Nick says Adam was forced into a choice. Nick says he faced the same thing this morning.
Sally asks what he means.
Nick says that Cameron forced him to choose between Sharon and Faith, and Nick couldn’t come up with an answer. He says that Sharon had a knife and killed Cameron.
Sally says she’s sorry.
Nick says he’s glad he didn’t have to decide who lives and who dies. He says that he can’t fault Adam’s decision.
Sally says it’s not the same… Her baby girl never got a chance to take her first breath, and Adam took that from her.
Crimson Lights
Sharon tells Chance she’s doing ok; she’s grateful that things didn’t turn out worse. She says it’s disturbing that she took a life, but she did what was needed.
Chance says Faith is alive, and she’s getting him free scones. He says that Sharon saved lives.
Adam walks in and asks where Chance was when Faith and Sharon needed him. He asks Chance how many clues he missed.
Sharon says that Chance was a hero yesterday. She says that if he hadn’t arrived when he did, Faith wouldn’t be here right now.
Faith comes in and gives Chance his scones and a coffee. She tells Adam to lay off Chance.
Sharon says she needs to talk with Adam and follows him into the main dining room.
She asks Adam how Sally is.
Adam says he’s not sure; Sally’s not talking to him.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki asks if Victoria’s decision to get Nick away has anything to do with Nate waiting in the wings to take over once Nick is gone.
Victoria says Nate has nothing to do with it… It’s in Nick’s best interest to take some time off.
Nikki says it needs to be Nick’s choice.
Nate knocks on the door and says he has some ideas to run by Victoria.
Nikki asks if Nate’s ideas are about Newman Enterprises or Newman Media.
Nate says he doesn’t want to overstep his boundaries; his ideas are about Newman Media.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Nick asks if Adam knew how Sally felt before they went to the hospital.
Sally says that she has no idea; there wasn’t much time.
Nick says that Adam didn’t know it’d end like this either, but Adam was focused on Sally at that time. He says that when Sally lost consciousness, Adam was all alone and had an impossible choice to make, so he went with his first instinct.
Sally asks if he would have saved Sharon over Faith.
Nick says it’s not the same situation.
Sally says he’d save Faith, a girl with her whole life ahead of her. She asks if Nick would have saved her little girl too.
Newman Enterprises
Nikki says that she has to go to a meeting. She asks Victoria to wait a few days before deciding on Nick, but if she insists on forcing the decision, Nikki won’t back her up. She leaves.
Nate says it sounds like Nikki doesn’t want him to pick up the slack when Nick leaves.
Victoria tells Nate that Nick needs to go.
Crimson Lights
Sharon tells Adam that he’s been through a lot but is capable of love and compassion.
Adam says he’s not feeling very loving or compassionate right now.
Sharon says it’s going to take Adam time to get over this.
Adam says that his baby died because of his decision, and Sally hates him for it. He says he doesn’t blame her.

The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Victoria calls Nick. She tells him that Nikki told her about the baby, and she asks how he is.
Nick says it’s been a rough couple of days.
Victoria asks him to come to the office to talk with her… It’s important.
Nick protests that he needs to stay with Sally, but Sally tells him to go, she needs to rest.
Nick says he’ll swing by the office but needs to talk to Sharon and Faith first. They end the call.
Nick tells Sally that Adam loved Ava as much as Sally did. He says he asked Adam to look out for her because he couldn’t, and Adam was at her side every second. He says he knows how angry she is, but he hopes she’ll find a way to forgive Adam.
Sally tells Nick that he’s a good man, looking out for his brother like that.
Nick says that if she finds a way to let her anger go, she’ll heal much faster. He says Sally is important to him, and he loves her.
He says that when she gets out of there… Would she want to move in with him?
Sally is surprised, but Nick says she doesn’t need to answer immediately. He tells her to take some time to think about it. He leaves the hospital room.
Crimson Lights
Sharon gives Adam his coffee order.
Nick walks into the coffee shop, and Adam asks him if he’s gone to the hospital yet.
Nick says he saw Sally, but she’s having a rough time.
Adam says it’s because of him.
Nick says Adam made the right decision.
Adam shrugs and leaves the coffee shop.
Sharon walks up and talks with Nick.
Nick says that Sharon saved their daughter’s life.
Faith walks in, and Nick gives her a big hug. She says she wants to leave.
Sharon says she understands; Faith can go home anytime.
Faith says she didn’t mean she wants to leave work… She wants to leave town. She says that Cameron was in their house, and he found her in Chancellor Park. She says that it hits her all over again wherever she goes, and she doesn’t want to live with those fears.
Sharon says she shouldn’t run away from her fears.
Faith says that she’s not running; she wants to be able to live her life without fear.
Sharon says that if that’s what she really wants…
Nick says it’s fine as long as Faith calls them daily.
They all hug.
Newman Enterprises
Nate says that Nikki isn’t happy with Victoria’s decision and thinks that Victor won’t be pleased either.
Victoria says that she didn’t make the decision lightly. She says she’s giving Nick time to heal.
Nate thinks that Nick will see it as Victoria trying to remove him as COO.
Victoria says she can fight her battles.
Nate says he’ll come back later… The ideas he had were for Newman Enterprises, not Newman Media.
Victoria says that she loves the way he thinks. She kisses him.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Adam comes back to the hospital and enters Sally’s room. She has her eyes closed. He says he knows she doesn’t want to see him, but he wants to explain.
Adam tells Sally that his heart stopped when Elena asked him who to save. He couldn’t imagine a world where Sally didn’t exist.
He says that when Elena told him that the child might not survive, he couldn’t dream of a world without the both of them.
He sits on the bed beside her and says it rips him apart that he’ll never get to meet their baby, but Sally got to meet her.
Adam tells Sally that he knew that her choice would be to save the baby because she loved her. He says he chose Sally because he loves her.
Newman Enterprises
Victoria talks with Nate about some business and says that she saw Nate sitting with Audra yesterday at the Athletic Club.
Nate says that Audra had some questions about the business.
Victoria says that Audra has some ambitions for moving up… Is Nate ok with that?
Nate says Audra’s good.
Nick walks into the office and asks what Victoria wanted to talk about.
Nate tells Nick he’ll leave them to talk. He tells Nick that he’s glad that his family is safe.
Nick thanks Nate, and Nate leaves the office.
Victoria gives Nick a big hug and asks how he’s holding up.
Nick says that Cameron’s dead and that Sally’s doing as good as she can.
Victoria says that Sally’s really going to need Nick’s support.
Nick says that suddenly Victoria is a fan of his relationship with Sally… What changed?
Victoria says she thinks Nick needs to take a leave of absence.
Crimson Lights
Chance comes into the main dining room and asks Sharon what’s happening.
Sharon says that Faith wants to go back to Ann Arbor. She says Faith doesn’t feel safe in town.
Chance says Faith will be back, and she’ll be ok… And so will Sharon!
Sharon thanks him. She says she needed to hear that.
Sharon tells Chance that Adam was wrong when he confronted Chance, and that Chance did everything he could to find Cameron. She says her daughter is alive because of him.
She hugs him tightly.
Society
Nikki is sitting at a table in the restaurant talking with a woman, who gets up and leaves. Nikki says that they’ll talk later. Nate walks into the restaurant and sees Nikki.
Nate walks over to Nikki’s table and tells her that it looks like she had a successful meeting.
Nikki says she did, and she heard good things about his performance.
Nate says that he’s happy to hear the compliment. He says that Audra will be heading things up for a while.
Nikki says that Nick’s not even gone, and Nate is shifting his focus to Newman Enterprises.
Nate says he hopes she doesn’t think he’s out of line… He wants to do what’s best for the company.
Nikki says he didn’t always do his best for the companies that he worked for.
Nate says that he spoke with Victor, and Victor was fine with it.
Nikki says that she has different opinions than Victor on what’s fine. She tells Nate to tread carefully. She gets up and leaves the restaurant.
The Genoa City Memorial Hospital
Adam tells Sally that he won’t stop loving her. He says he just wanted to protect her and the baby, and he’ll never forgive himself for breaking her heart.
He kisses Sally’s hand before getting up and leaving.
Once Adam is out of the room, Sally starts crying.
Newman Enterprises
Nick tells Victoria that he doesn’t need any time off.
Victoria says she disagrees. He might be able to handle it, but Faith and Sharon need him.
Nick says that Faith is leaving town and Sharon doesn’t need him. He says Sharon and Faith went to work today because they know it helps them mentally.
He says that he asked Victoria to take time off after Ashland, but she refused and said that work helped her. He says he needs to work more than ever.
Victoria tells him that he can’t see clearly to make a sound decision. She says she’s not asking him; the decision has already been made, and she needs him to step away from his position as COO.
