Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Kyle & Audra got wild in her hotel room, Victor gave Nate a warning, and Ashley faced off with Diane.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Jack and Diane dance and talk about what a wonderful night it is together.
Diane says it’s a shame Kyle isn’t doing as well with Summer.
She says that she feels like they can conquer the world.
Jack says together they’re unstoppable.
Michael’s Suite at the GCAC
Michael and Lauren are kissing and making out.
Michael says he saw Phyllis earlier.
Lauren asks what he talked about with Phyllis. She says it must have been surreal.
Michael says that’s one word for it; Phyllis was dressed in a trenchcoat and sunglasses and walked in on him in his underwear.
Lauren laughs and says that he’s set up the place nicely, with champagne and everything.
She sits down with Michael and asks to hear everything he and Phyllis discussed.
She asks if Michael has figured out a way for Phyllis to come home without her life being wrecked.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer walks down the stairs and calls out for Kyle. There’s no answer.
Summer thinks back to a time when Kyle told her they were destined to be together forever.
Her phone pings… It’s a message from Phyllis saying that she spoke with Michael.
Summer says this is all Phyllis’s fault.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle and Audra lie naked in bed, cuddling.
Kyle says, “That was something…”
Audra completes his sentence, saying it’s something they both needed. She says it was a lot of fun, but she understands if he’s looking to “escape”.
Kyle says he doesn’t want to go.
They kiss and make out.
The Abbott Mansion
The doorbell rings; it’s Nick.
Summer answers the door and hugs her father. She asks him how he is after Cameron Kirsten. She says that she’s glad Cameron is dead.
Nick says Cameron meant business and wanted to take out as many people as possible.
Summer asks how Faith and Sharon are.
Nick says they’re doing ok considering the trauma they went through. He says that it wasn’t his call, but he’s taking time off from Newman Enterprises.
He says that Sally lost the baby the day Faith got kidnapped, and he didn’t even know about it until after he dealt with Cameron.
Summer asks how Sally is coping with it.
Nick says Sally’s not great. He asks why Summer called him over.
Summer says she can’t pile anything else on him after hearing what he’s gone through.
Nick says he’s her dad… Pile away!
Summer tears up and says she doesn’t know where to start… She’s messed up her marriage, Kyle wants a separation, and he wants her to move out.
Nick tells her he’s sorry and hugs Summer tenderly.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Kyle and Audra are making out in bed.
They sit up and kiss each other, running their hands over each other.
Audra crawls on top, and they roll over.
Michael & Laurens GCAC Suite
Michael tells Lauren he’s laid out a plan for Phyllis.
Lauren asks if he can keep Phyllis out of prison.
Michael says he won’t really know until Phyllis turns herself in.
Lauren says Phyllis must be scared to do that.
Michael says that Phyllis told him she’d think about it, and all they can do is wait.
Lauren hopes Phyllis makes up her mind soon; she misses her friend.
Michael says Phyllis has been through a lot and is worried, afraid, and hiding behind a wall of bravado.
He says it was wonderful to see Phyllis, but it was heartbreaking at the same time.
Lauren wishes she could go back in time and change Phyllis’s mind.
She says Diane changed her life after faking her death and hopes Phyllis can do the same.
The Restaurant at the GCAC
Jack raises his glass in a toast with Diane. He says that life can’t keep her down.
Diane says that she’s worried that Kyle rented a room upstairs.
Jack says he’s concerned too, but Summer and Kyle may need to learn the hard way about love and forgiveness.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra and Kyle roll around in bed, kissing each other passionately and enjoying each other’s bodies.
The GCAC Restaurant
Diane tells Jack that they’re lucky; they’ve been around long enough to know that struggle is a part of life.
Jack says she must be thinking of the kids again.
Diane says it’s a lesson she had to learn, and she made many mistakes in her youth.
Jack says they both made mistakes in their past.
Diane says she’s grateful for everything that’s happening in her life, and she’ll try not to ruin everything this time with her imperfections.
Jack says he’s not perfect either.
Diane says Jack is pretty perfect, and she hopes he doesn’t find it petty, but she takes pride in knowing that Ashley and Phyllis are stuck in the past, and she’s gotten over it.
Jack says he doesn’t find it petty and agrees with Diane. They kiss.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra takes a drink, and Kyle snuggles up to her and asks if she’s hungry… They could order some room service.
Audra says she has a big day tomorrow and needs him to make that “smooth exit” they’d discussed earlier.
Kyle laughs and says she’s kicking him out; he feels so used.
Audra hopes she didn’t mislead him in any way.
Kyle says he appreciates the honesty; he had a fantastic time.
Audra says she’s glad he feels that way. She says he can get dressed after they have a nice shower together.
Kyle thinks that’s a great idea.

The Abbott Mansion
Nick says he’s sorry that Summer is struggling with dealing with the fallout with Kyle and Phyllis. He asks where Phyllis is.
Summer says she doesn’t know where she is. She says Phyllis offered to turn herself in to save Summer’s marriage, but Summer couldn’t let her do that.
Nick says he’s grateful that Phyllis is still alive. His feelings about Phyllis are complicated, though; he can’t see why Phyllis is making Summer solve problems that Phyllis created.
Summer says that a lot of this is Stark’s fault. She knows that Phyllis’s logic was screwy, but there’s some justice to it.
Nick says it’s not just about Summer’s mother… Kyle’s mother has been impacted too.
Summer says she tried to protect her mom, which might have cost her her marriage.
Michael & Lauren’s Suite at the GCAC
Lauren asks Michael how many times they’ve said that Phyllis is her own worst enemy.
Michael says the printer would explode if they printed out all Phyllis’s misdeeds.
Lauren says they both love Phyllis, though… She wonders what it would take for Phyllis to turn over a new leaf.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer tells Nick that she was angry that Kyle wouldn’t even entertain the idea that Diane had killed Phyllis… And then she found out her mother was alive.
Summer says she went along with everything that Phyllis wanted, even though it prolonged Diane’s suffering. She knew it was horrible but couldn’t risk anyone finding out about Phyllis before she found a good defense.
Summer says she put her mother before her marriage, before what she knew was right, but she convinced herself that she didn’t have a choice. She says Kyle won’t even look at her now.
Nick says that Phyllis put Summer in a terrible position, but Kyle will see how much Summer regrets hurting him, and he’ll return to her.
Summer says she’d like that, but she has a long history with Kyle and destroyed his trust.
Audra’s Suite at the GCAC
Kyle gets dressed and tells Audra he’s glad they ran into each other.
Audra says she will sleep well after their tryst and imagines that Kyle will too. She says if “this” happens again, great; if not, she had a sensational time.
They kiss one last time, and Kyle leaves Audra in her suite.
Kyle walks downstairs and sees Jack and Diane in the lobby.
Jack says he and Diane were just leaving the club. He says he saw Kyle going upstairs earlier and assumed he got a room for the night.
Kyle says that he thought getting a room away from the house would be better, but realized he wants to be home and wake up with Harrison.
Michael & Lauren’s GCAC Suite
Lauren tells Michael that when Phyllis went to jail and hit rock bottom, it never changed who she was.
Michael says that Phyllis is Phyllis… Maybe there’s no saving her.
Lauren says that people can evolve.
Michael jokes that people can, but Phyllis is another matter.
Lauren says they need to find the right motivation for Phyllis to change.
The Abbott Mansion
Nick says that Kyle will fix things between Summer and himself.
Summer says that she’s not so sure. She thinks this may be the end of her and Kyle’s relationship. She feels so lost and wishes she’d have talked to Nick sooner.
Summer knows that Phyllis is Stark’s victim, but she holds her mom responsible for this mess. She says everything happened because of Phyllis’s grudge against Diane.
Nick knows Summer loves her mother. He says Phyllis is a cyclone who mows down everything in her path.
Summer says everything, including her marriage. She wonders if the separation will turn into a divorce. She feels like she’s lost her mom and her husband.
Nick hugs her and comforts her.
Michael & Lauren’s Suite at the GCAC
Michael says he loves Lauren’s optimism.
Lauren says she’s relying on Michael’s problem-solving abilities. He’s a brilliant lawyer who comes up with amazing plans. She has no doubt he’s going to help Phyllis.
Michael says he intends to as long as Phyllis doesn’t disappear. He says that even if he gets rid of the murder rap, Phyllis will still be facing a boatload of charges.
Lauren says if anyone can get through to Phyllis, it’s Michael.
Michael says he’ll consider that a challenge.
Lauren says to forget about everything except for Michael and her in their own private oasis. She tells him that she can’t wait to start their romantic evening.
They kiss tenderly.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Diane tells Kyle that she understands his need to put Harrison first. She says that she didn’t mean to use Harrison as a tool against him.
Kyle says he doesn’t want to discuss it. He says he’ll talk to them at home, and leaves the club.
Jack tells Diane that Kyle is acting strange but wants to leave on a high from their incredible evening together. They kiss.
Audra’s Suite at the GCAC
Audra looks up some articles about Kyle on her tablet. She sees a picture of him as CEO of Marchetti with Summer.
The Abbott Mansion
Nick asks if Summer feels better.
Summer says she does… A bit. She says that, surprisingly, the only one she’s been able to talk with about Kyle so far has been Diane. She says that Diane tried to reason with Kyle, but it didn’t work.
Nick says that Summer has to let things play out. He says things will get worse before they get better, and she’ll have to give Kyle some space.
Summer says she has a bad habit of trying to prove her point instead of doing the “give-and-take thing”.
Nick says that Phyllis can be convincing and can slather on the guilt when it suits her. He says that Kyle understands that Phyllis is manipulative, and he’ll come around at some point.
Summer says that she wishes Kyle could hear Nick say that.
Nick says he could talk to Kyle… It might be worth a shot.
Michael & Lauren’s GCAC Suite
Michael and Lauren kiss and toast to each other as they lie in bed.
Audra’s GCAC Suite
Audra gets a text message from Nate saying, “Ready for tomorrow? Our worlds are about to change.”
Audra says, “Maybe mine already has!”
The Abbott Mansion
Jack and Diane come home and greet Summer and Nick.
Summer asks Jack and Diane if they’ve seen Kyle.
Jack says that they just saw Kyle at the club, and he’s on his way home.
Nick hugs Summer and says goodbye. He leaves.
Diane asks if they should wait with Summer until Kyle gets home.
Summer tells them to get some rest.
Jack & Diane go upstairs.
Kyle comes in the front door, and Summer says hello.
Kyle looks at Summer and doesn’t say a word. He heads upstairs, leaving Summer alone in the living room.
