Devon’s Penthouse
Devon looks longingly at a picture of Amanda, and sends her a text message, “Please don’t leave. We can fix this.”

Tucker’s Hotel Suite
Audra shows up at Tucker’s place. He invites her in and says that he’s raring to go, that he can’t wait to hear her ideas on moving on Chancellor-Winters.
Audra says that Jill is in favor of going ahead with the IPO, but a final decision hasn’t been made yet. She says that even if they do go ahead with it, that he doesn’t have the advantage that Newman had.

He says she’s been an excellent mole. She laughs and says that she prefers the term “liaison”.
He asks if she got any information on Jabot’s financials, to which she replies that she hasn’t yet. He asks if there’s a problem, and if Noah Newman has anything to do with the fact that his plan has stalled on both fronts.
She says that it’s not her personal issues that have interfered with his plan, that he’s in too deep to see the forest for the trees.

Audra says that he wants to acquire Chancellor-Winters with Devon running it, and Ashley running Jabot, while both work for him.
He says that’s a succinct way of saying it.

Audra says that she’s a realist, and that his scheme. He says he’s disappointed in her lack of faith, and that she obviously doesn’t know him very well. Audra leaves.
Tucker calls Ashley and leaves a message asking if she’d used his information yet.

Diane knocks on the door and yells at him to let her in immediately.
Tucker lets her in, and she asks how he could be that that vindictive and cruel to give Ashley and her cohorts information about Jeremy Stark because she couldn’t get him the data he wanted.

He says that he’s not buying her excuses that she wasn’t able to get access to Jabot’s information, and that she’s just upset that he told the facts of what Diane was involved in to Ashley.
Diane says that Ashley has threatened to tell Jeremy Stark where she is. Tucker says that she should just leave town, that it would be the best way for her to handle it.

Diane says she’s not going anywhere, and Tucker has underestimated her. She leaves, and Tucker smiles to himself.
He calls Ashley again and tells her that he did all he could to egg Diane on, and he hopes that Ashley and her cohorts get everything they want.

Chancellor Mansion
Abby asks Chance to stay, but he says that it’s not working between them.
She says that she wants to turn back the clock, but Chance says that it wouldn’t have happened if Devon and her didn’t already have feelings for each other.

Chance admits that it wasn’t solely her fault, and that he avoided difficult conversations with her, and that it led her directly into Devon’s arms. He says that there were signs that their marriage was failing since he came back from Spain.
He says that his PTSD divided them, and he’s just as much to blame because of that. He figures that she just got tired of vying for his love and attention.

Abby cries that he’s being too logical about it, and asks if he’s suggesting that their marriage is over. He says that they’d just be prolonging the inevitable.
Abby says that she’s not ready to give up on them, and that the only person that she wants is Chance. He says he doesn’t want to stick around to have to face that pain.
She asks what he’s suggesting, and he says, “I think you know.”

Chance says that he still wants to be a father to Dominic, and she says that she hates how rational he’s being.
He says that the one thing he can’t do is comfort her right now, that he has no choice but to be rational about it. Abby says she’s so sorry, and Chance just walks out, leaving her crying.
She sends a text message to her mother.

The Ranch
Diane shows up and Ashley answers the door. Diane says that she received Ashley’s “cryptic” text.
They move to the living room, and Ashley, Nikki, and Phyllis confront Diane and tell her that they know about Jeremy Stark, and that now that Stark’s being released from prison, he’s probably wondering what happened to his accomplice, Diane Jenkins.

Diane says that her only connection to Jeremy Stark was that they went on a couple of dates, and the idea that she was moving money around the world for him is a bunch of malarky.
She says that Tucker must have told them this information, and that they’re falling for his manipulations.
Diane says that Tucker’s misleading them, and that they couldn’t wait to gobble up this story to scare her, but that she doesn’t scare easily.

Phyllis says, “What makes you think we don’t have proof of your crimes?” Nikki says that they have the full power of Victor’s P.I. team.
Diane retorts that if they had anything on her, that they’d have confronted her with it, and tells her that if they had anything, they should go to the FBI with it. She says the statute of limitations would have already ran out.

Nikki says that it’s interesting that she knows about the statute of limitations on crimes she had nothing to do with.
She says it’d be a shame if someone were to reach out to Jeremy Stark and let him know exactly where Diane “or should I say Taylor Jenson” is.

Nikki says, “Maybe he’ll be willing to overlook that you put him away.”
Diane says that she’s never sent a convicted felon after any of them.
Phyllis says that she framed her for felony, and Nikki says that she was framed for Diane’s “murder”.

Diane says all of their lies are pathetic, and that she’s decided not to be vengeful like the three of them, that she’s changed.
Ashley says that she doesn’t believe her, though Jack and Kyle might… But who knows how long that’ll last.

Diane says that she hasn’t done anything to any of them since she’s come back to Genoa City.
Phyllis says that she almost got fired because of Diane. Diane says that she didn’t get fired, and she’s tried hard since to make sure nobody got hurt.

Diane tells them to back off and leave her alone, or she’ll turn the tables on them so fast their heads will spin.
She stalks out, slamming the door behind her.

Nikki says that she thinks that Diane is sweating bullets, and says that whatever happens, they need to make sure they don’t fall into Tucker’s traps.

Ashley gets a voicemail from Tucker and says she needs to go see him to talk about Diane. Phyllis says that they need to know how to get in touch with Jeremy Stark.
Abby holds up a finger. She just got a text message from Abby. “Mom, I need you.”

Chancellor-Winters
Lily is leaving a voicemail for Amanda, asking whether she is going to send over the contracts for the music studio they’re going to buy.
As she’s leaving the voicemail, she gets an email from Amanda.

“This is to inform you that I’m resigning as general counsel of Chancellor-Winters.”
Lily is stunned. She immediately calls Devon and asks if he knows anything about the letter.
He says he does, and heads immediately to Chancellor-Winters to talk to Lily.

Lily asks him how long he’s known, and he says he knew that it might happen, but it was very fast.
She asks if Imani was leaving too, and he says he doesn’t know. Lily says that she might have expected that Amanda needed to be with her family.
Devon says that he tried to convince her to stay, and Lily asks if there’s something going on, if they had a falling out.

Devon says that they’re just going through things.
Lily asks “What’s really going on here?”
He says that Amanda’s made her choice, and he’s not going to stand in her way. Lily tells him to go to Virginia with her, and that she doesn’t want his work to get in the way of his relationship with Amanda.

He says that he’s just got to accept that it’s time for Amanda and him to part ways. Lily says that he’s obviously not ready to tell her what’s happening, but when he does, she’s there for him.
Chancellor Park
Devon sits down on a bench, reminiscing about his time with Abby, and how he’d told her that he would do anything for her.

Chance happens to walk through the park as well, and sees Devon sitting there.
Devon says that Chance probably doesn’t want to hear anything he has to say. Chance agrees.
Chance says that he thinks it all started before he got back from Spain, and that Devon and Abby had a choice, to continue what they were doing, or to stop.

Devon says he doesn’t deserve Chance’s forgiveness, but he hopes that Chance and he can live with that mistake without affecting Dominic’s life.
Chance interrupts him and says to not bring Dom up right now.

Devon asks that Chance forgives Abby, and Chance says that’s none of his damn business. Chance leaves, frustrated.
Jabot
Diane shows up at Jabot, looking for Jack. His office is empty.

She sends Jack a text message, telling him that she needs to see him.

Society
Chance sits at the bar, drinking a beer alone.
