Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Kyle & Audra made plans, Sharon burned her links to Cameron, and Victoria pursued her campaign against Nick & Adam.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Devon asks Abby if she’s considering moving into the Chancellor mansion.
Abby says it’s a lot to consider, but she thinks it’s Devon’s choice.
Society
Lily approaches Audra’s table after seeing Audra saying goodbye to a woman.
Audra tells Lily that her eyes weren’t deceiving her… That was the head of Crawford Pictures, and she just signed a deal with Newman Media.
Lily says she’s surprised that Nate would hand off such an important deal for Audra to work.
Audra says Lily hasn’t heard… She’s running Newman Media now.
Jabot Cosmetics
Kyle walks into the Jabot offices, and Jack closes the door behind him.
Jack tells Kyle that they have to discuss how they’re moving forward.
Kyle asks if there’s a problem.
Jack says that there may be an issue with Summer.
Kyle says that they’ll learn to work together.
Jack says one of them will have to step away from their position at Marchetti.
Kyle says that they built it together, and he can’t see Summer having to resign.
Jack says it’s not summer who has to resign.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane speaks with Summer and says she’s sorry to see Kyle and Summer torn apart. She says if Summer needs anyone to talk to, she’s there for her.
Summer says that Diane was no help in getting Kyle to forgive her… Thanks for nothing.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Devon says that they have to make a decision together about moving.
Abby says she’d be happy moving anywhere and thinks Dominic feels more at home at the Chancellor estate.
Devon says that he thinks Dominic feels a difference, too… The mansion is huge and has a park for a backyard.
He says there’d be a lot more space in the mansion.
Abby asks how Devon is feeling about the move.
Devon says that he keeps thinking about how Chance talked about Katherine Chancellor and how she wouldn’t want the mansion to be empty, and he wants to keep Katherine’s legacy alive.
Abby says they have their answer. They kiss.
Society
Lily tells Audra she knew Audra was a shark but never thought she’d take over so quickly.
Audra says that she scored the promotion on her merit.
Nate comes up to the table.
Lily tells Nate that Audra took his job… She’s surprised.
Nate says that she doesn’t know the whole story… He’s filling in as COO at Newman Media, and Audra is filling in for him.
Lily asks if Audra would give her a minute to chat with Nate.
Audra says no problem, and she never got to thank Lily.
Lily asks what Audra wants to thank her for.
Audra says she wouldn’t have this great position if she wasn’t fired, and she’s at the top of her game. She leaves Nate and Lily to talk.
Lily says she hasn’t seen Nate since the tribute to Neil and asks how he’s been.
Nate says he’s been good.
Lily says she was worried after his breakup with Elena and asks if Audra had anything to do with it.
Nate says he’s in a relationship with Victoria now.
Lily laughs and says he really is swimming with the sharks.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane says that she understands that Summer is upset, but she’s sorry.
Summer says that Diane is the reason that Phyllis is gone. She says that asking Diane to help with her marriage was a test, and Diane failed.
She says that Phyllis was right… Diane destroys everything she touches.
Jabot Cosmetics
Kyle asks if Jack thinks that he should resign from Marchetti.
Jack says it’s a business decision, and Marchetti needs Summer. He tells Kyle he loves him and Kyle should take another position in Jabot.
Kyle says that Billy has his old position… What position will Kyle have in Jabot?
Jack says they’ll figure it out, but if Kyle and Summer are separated, they won’t be able to work together.
Kyle asks if it’s Jack’s subtle way of getting him and Summer to stay together.
Society
Audra comes back to the table and asks Nate if Lily lectured him on morality.
Nate says that Lily is a good person, and they had a chance to reunite at Neil’s memorial.
Audra says she has nothing against him bonding with his family, but he can’t let Lily’s conscience affect his decision-making.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Lily stops by the apartment and tells Devon that she has some news… Nate is involved with Victoria.
Devon says he already knew but didn’t want to gossip about Nate cheating on Elena.
Lily isn’t surprised and tells Devon that Nate is filling in as COO at Newman Enterprises, and Audra has taken over his position at Newman Media.
Devon asks if she’d mind being Nate’s neighbor.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Chance meets Abby at the bar.
Abby asks him if he was serious about moving out of the Chancellor Mansion and letting Devon, Dominic, and Abby move in.
Chance says he’s made up his mind, and he’s not holding anything back.
Abby says she still cares about him, even if they’re not together. She says she’s there to listen if he needs to talk.
Jabot Cosmetics
Jack tells Kyle he has no ulterior motive to get him to stay with Summer.
Kyle asks why he’s firing him then.
Jack says he’s not firing him, but if Kyle and Summer split up, he’d damage the company while trying to work with her.
Kyle says that he and Summer can handle their jobs and keep their feelings out of it.
Jack says that if Kyle wants to keep working with Summer, maybe that should tell him something. He needs his answer soon.
Kyle tells him he’ll get back to him on it and leaves the office.
The GCAC
Chance says that he wants Dominic to be happy and wants someone to fill the house.
Abby says that she’s sorry she hurt Chance.
Chance says he’s come to terms with it and is in a good place now.
Abby asks if he’s ok with moving out.
Chance says it’s too quiet at the mansion and needs someone like Dominic to live there and fill the house with noise.
He says he’s already found a place and will be out by the end of the week. He says that Dom will still have all three of his parents, and he won’t have to bounce back and forth all the time.

Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Devon says he asked Lily over to offer her the penthouse… He asks if she’d like to move in.
Lily asks where Abby and Devon are going to live.
Devon says that Chance offered the Chancellor Mansion for him, Abby, and Dominic.
He asks if Lily would be interested in moving in.
Lily says it’s caught her off-guard, but she’s always loved the place. It was the last place that Neil was alive and she likes the idea that his memory will live on there.
Devon says he thought Lily would like that. He says they should keep the place in the family.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer finishes packing and wheels her bags into the living room. She looks around and thinks back to when Kyle told her that she and Harrison were the center of his universe.
She remembers that they had gone through so many problems, but they still loved each other. Kyle had said that Summer was raising Harrison even though she wasn’t her biological son and said that Summer had never given up on them.
Summer thinks about Kyle telling her that he’d choose her over anything else and how he’d said that they could overcome any problems together.
She remembers him asking her to marry him again and renew their vows.
Kyle comes home.
Summer is surprised he’s there that quickly… She asks if Diane called him.
Kyle says she didn’t, and wonders if Diane and Summer had an argument.
Summer says it doesn’t matter… She’s moving out.
Kyle says he didn’t expect her to be ready to move out so quickly.
He says that Jack wants Summer to run Marchetti and wants Kyle to leave his position there. He says he disagreed at first, but realized it was for the best.
Summer says there’s only one thing left to do… The hardest part of all. She calls for Harrison to come downstairs.
Harrison comes down, and Summer and Kyle tell him that they love him a lot, but there will be some changes.
Summer says she’s moving out.
Kyle says they’ll still be doing all the fun things they always do.
Summer says he’ll see her every day, and they’ll have more fun than ever.
Harrison doesn’t seem to really be processing what they’re saying; he looks shocked.
Society
Audra tells Nate they’re on track to getting everything they’ve been working toward.
Nate says that everything is definitely falling into place.
Audra says that what happened with Nick is terrible, she wishes it hadn’t had to happen. She asks when Nick is returning.
Nate says he doesn’t know… Maybe Nick will decide to do something else.
Audra says that would leave the position open for Nate to step into permanently. She asks if things are still good with him and Victoria.
Nate says things could be better, but it’s fine.
Audra says she’s working on a side project that may prove rewarding. She doesn’t provide any more details.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby comes home and tells Devon and Lily that she has some good news… They can move into the Chancellor mansion by the end of the week.
Devon says that Chance isn’t messing around… That’s a short timeline!
Abby says it’s nice that the mansion is close to the Chancellor-Winters headquarters… That’ll make things easy for Devon.
Lily laughs and says she’s going to take the penthouse. She and Devon hug.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle tells Summer that talking with Harris went better than expected.
Summer says it breaks her heart, but Harrison has adjusted well to everything they’ve gone through.
Kyle says it was nice to see her.
Summer says they made a great team.
Kyle says they always did when it comes to Harrison. He promises to let Harrison call Summer as often as he wants. He asks Summer to come by any time she likes to see Harrison.
Summer says it won’t be the same for her or Harrison.
Kyle offers to help with her bags.
Summer says she doesn’t need his help. She leaves.
Jabot Cosmetics
Diane says she can’t believe what Summer said to her, but knows that Summer was just lashing out.
Jack says that Diane isn’t to blame for Kyle and Summer’s problems. He says he had a talk with Kyle about Marchetti and that presented its own problems.
Kyle comes into the office, and Diane asks him what’s happening.
Kyle says that he talked to Harrison with Summer, and it was a difficult talk. He says he told Summer that he’s resigning from Marchetti.
Jack says his new position will be more rewarding.
Kyle says he’s declining the position at Jabot. He needs space to figure out what’s next.
Jack is confused by Kyle’s statement.
Kyle leaves the office without saying anything else, leaving Jack and Diane to wonder what’s happening.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Abby lists off things they need to do to move… Arrange for movers, storage, etc.
Devon seems distracted.
Abby asks him if they should slow down, maybe it’s too much for him right now.
Devon says it’s going to be tougher to leave than he thought… He grew up here and felt this was the first place he could settle down.
Abby says they can change their minds.
Devon says he won’t change his mind; they need to start their life together.
The GCAC
Chance sees Summer come into the lobby with her suitcases. He asks her if it’s what it looks like.
Summer says that Kyle asked her to move out.
Crimson Lights
Kyle sits down at a table with Audra.
Audra says she had a “banner day” as the new CEO of Newman Media. She asks how his day was.
Kyle says that Summer moved out, and they’re separated now.
Jabot Cosmetics
Diane says it’s tough to see Kyle going through hard times.
Jack says Kyle and Summer are having problems and wonders if Kyle really wants to leave Jabot and his family.
Diane says that Kyle just needs some time away, and he’ll come back.
Jack says he’s not sure… He knows that the house will be sadder without Summer.
The GCAC
Chance tells Summer he’s sorry to hear about her separation. He says if she needs someone to talk to, he’s been there, and he’s there to talk to.
Summer thanks him and says she needs to settle into her new home.
Crimson Lights
Audra tells Kyle she’s sorry to hear that he’s split up with Summer. She hopes it didn’t have anything to do with their dalliance.
Kyle says his problems with Summer started long before he met Audra. He has a lot to figure out, though, since he’s out of a job now too.
Audra says she’s surprised and wonders why Summer is still at Jabot since it’s Kyle’s family’s company. She asks what Kyle will be doing next.
Kyle says he hasn’t got that far; he’s still got to figure it out.
