Today’s Young and the Restless recap airs in the USA on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, and airs one day ahead in Canada. We post our Y&R recaps every weekday!

Last Episode

Ashley Abbott, Audra Charles, and Chance Chancellor.

On the last episode of Y&R, Audra found out about Ashley’s visit to Tucker’s room and came over to confront her, and Billy vetoed Chance’s idea because Devon liked it.

Crimson Lights

Amanda meets Phyllis in the coffee shop and they hug in greeting.

Phyllis Summers and Amanda Sinclair hug.
CBS

Phyllis says it’s been a long time since they’ve seen each other last.

Amanda laughs and says she could have come to visit any time.

Phyllis says she shouldn’t tempt her… She’ll jump in her suitcase and start living in her guest room!

Phyllis Summers.
CBS

Amanda tells her to do it… But why?

Phyllis says she doesn’t want to talk about her… She wants to talk about Amanda; why is she in town?

Amanda holds up her fists in a fighter’s stance. “Battle preparations!”

Amanda Sinclair.
CBS

Society

Nate meets Mamie in the restaurant.

Nate Hastings talks with Mamie Johnson.
CBS

Mamie thanks him for meeting her and says she wants to talk about Chancellor-Winters. She says a little bird told her there’s a “chill” in the office.

Nate figures it must have been Esther who told her.

Mamie nods. She says she’s concerned that not everybody is focused on working as a team… Maybe something at the office needs her attention.

Mamie Johnson.
CBS

Chancellor-Winters

Chance walks into Billy’s office to get a file.

Before Chance leaves, Billy asks if they’re good.

Billy Abbott.
CBS

Chance assures him they’re okay.

Billy tells him not to take what happened earlier personally. His response to his pitch wasn’t a reflection of the actual idea. He says music festivals have a lot of potential, but there are many moving parts. He thinks it’d be something Chancellor-Winters would be excited about in the future.

Chance nods and says it would help if they could hash some things out quickly.

Chance Chancellor.
CBS

The Genoa City Athletic Club

Jack, Diane, and Kyle are sitting at a table in the dining room. Jack tells Diane and Kyle that Ashley told him she was wrong… Tucker wasn’t violent in Paris, after all.

Diane is surprised… Just like that?

Jack Abbott, Diane Abbott-Jenkins, and Kyle Abbott.
CBS

Jack says he’s pleased that Ashley’s found peace with the incident, but he’s concerned that she will be susceptible to Tucker again.

Kyle says he doesn’t see it… Their breakup was real and their marriage has clearly gone past the point of no return.

Jack thinks Ashley is vulnerable.

Jack and Diane.
CBS

Diane doesn’t agree. She says Ashley is a grown woman who knows who she is, and Jack needs to give her some credit to handle Tucker.

Jack says Diane is sounding like Billy… He thinks Jack should back off, too.

Kyle says Jack might consider listening to Billy.

Kyle Abbott.
CBS

Jack says it’s hard to do so because he doesn’t trust Tucker. There’s no way in hell he’s going to let Tucker hurt Ashley again!

Tucker walks down the stairs from his room into the lobby and starts talking to a server.

Jack glares in his direction.

Diane talks to Jack Abbott.
CBS

The Abbott Mansion

Ashley lets Audra into the house and says she seems pretty worked up.

Audra says she wants to get a few things straight. It’s her turn to do the talking!

Audra Charles talks to Ashley Abbott.
CBS

Ashley asks if she’ll leave if she asks nicely.

Audra ignores her and says Tucker told her that Ashley went up to his suite last night.

Ashley looks innocent. “Oh, did he?”

Ashley Abbott talks to Audra.
CBS

Audra says she and Tucker don’t keep secrets. Their relationship is based on honesty.

Ashley says that’s very sweet… Are they done now?

Audra says Ashley’s done with Tucker.

Audra and Ashley.
CBS

Ashley says that’s not Audra’s call.

Audra says Ashley’s playing games by deciding that Tucker wasn’t violent and ambushing him in his suite to tell him. She says that if Ashley has decided she wants a future with Tucker, it’s too late… She blew it and needs to back off; Tucker is with Audra now.

Ashley says Audra must not be sure that Tucker’s over her… Why else would she show up on her doorstep?

Ashley Abbott looks surprised.
CBS

Audra says Ashley’s hurt Tucker for the last time… If she tries to seduce him as part of her “sick plan,” she’ll have Audra to deal with.

Ashley says, “OoOOh, scary!” She asks what the dynamic is between Audra and Tucker… Clearly, Audra has daddy issues.

Audra says her and Tucker’s connection is none of Ashley’s business. What she has with Tucker isn’t a game!

Audra gestures as she talks to Ashley.
CBS

Ashley says it must be… They both know Audra is an opportunist! Tucker is heartbroken and vulnerable, and Audra just happened to be there to hold his hand… And whatever else.

Audra says she and Tucker have real plans for a future together. She says he’s taking her to Paris.

Ashley laughs and says that’s where they had their honeymoon. She’d recommend they avoid a “certain cafe” while they’re there.

Ashley laughs.
CBS

Audra says their trip is nothing like Ashley’s trainwreck of a honeymoon. She says Tucker wants her to meet the board at Glissade, and they’re going to create a company like nobody has ever seen. She can’t wait!

Ashley says that’s very interesting… She was going to do the exact same thing with Tucker.

Audra says that, unlike Ashley, she won’t go back on her word to Tucker. She won’t go running home to her family because she’s afraid to leave them.

Audra talks to Ashley.
CBS

Ashley asks if Audra has a family to run home to, or if she all alone in the world. Is that why she’s hung on to Tucker the way she has? She has nowhere else to go?

Audra says Tucker is all she needs, and she’s all that he needs.

Ashley says that was spoken like a true romantic, but that’s not what Audra is… At all. She says Audra is more of a “what have you done for me lately” type of girl.

Audra tells Ashley that she can make fun of her all she wants, but Ashley doesn’t want to go to war with her; she may think she’s tough, but it will end badly for her.

Ashley Abbott.
CBS

The GCAC Dining Room

Jack groans when he sees Tucker. “Just look at that sick bastard.”

Diane tells him that she knows he wants to be protective of his sister, but he needs to let her handle him.

Jack, Diane, and Kyle. Tucker gives a thumbs-up in the background.
CBS

Jack disregards her advice and gets up to talk to Tucker. He approaches Tucker at the bar and tells him that he’s a demon they can’t seem to exorcise.

Tucker asks the bartender for two glasses of his finest holy water. He turns to Jack with a grin. “No? That was funny!”

Jack doesn’t think so. He says Ashley told him she changed her mind about what happened in Paris.

Jack talks to Tucker.
CBS

Tucker says Ashley finally saw the light and admitted it to him.

Jack tells him that Ashley hasn’t changed her mind about how dangerous Tucker is… He should hop on a jet out of town and not look back.

Tucker asks Jack when he’s going to let his sister live life the way she chooses to.

Tucker McCall talks to Jack Abbott.
CBS

Crimson Lights

Phyllis wants to know about Amanda’s “battle plans.” It sounds like something she wants in on; she loves a good fight!

Amanda says it’s a good thing she doesn’t take Phyllis on for making her believe she died.

Amanda Sinclair smiles.
CBS

Phyllis says she apologized for that… She’s sorry!

Amanda tells her not to die on her again.

Phyllis asks what her battle plan is all about.

Phyllis Summers.
CBS

Amanda explains that she’s standing in for Jill and overseeing everything at Chancellor-Winters. She says it’s office politics on steroids.

Phyllis laughs and figures it’s Billy… It’s always Billy.

Amanda grins and says it is. Her mission is to shore up the Jill, Billy, and Chance side of things.

Amanda smiles at Phyllis.
CBS

Phyllis says Billy needs an ally.

Amanda smiles pointedly at Phyllis and says, “Troublemakers usually do.”

Society

Mamie says Esther only told her that there was something in the air between Billy and Devon and that John Abbott and Neil Winters wouldn’t be happy about it. She says she needs more details from Nate.

Mamie Johnson talks with Nate Hastings.
CBS

Nate says something is going on between Billy and Devon. He asks if Mamie knew that Billy proposed they add the name “Abbott” to the company name… Abbott-Chancellor-Winters, to be exact.

Mamie is incredulous. “Excuse me?” She says Billy has some nerve, but Devon must have turned him down.

Nate says Devon and Lily discussed it and nixed the idea for now but promised Billy they’d revisit it when Jill returned.

Nate Hastings.
CBS

Mamie says there’ll be no “revisiting” if she has anything to say about it.

Nate says Jill won’t let it go that easily. He says Amanda Sinclair is in town on Jill’s orders because of it.

Mamie thinks Jill is playing dirty by bringing Amanda on board. She says Jill “and her minions” are nothing but trouble.

Mamie Johnson.
CBS

Nate says he’s actually impressed with Chance. He’s smart, a fast learner, and has already come up with some good ideas.

Mamie asks what Devon thinks.

Nate says Devon seems to be impressed by Chance as well.

Nate Hastings.
CBS

Mamie asks if Chance is being mentored by Billy.

Nate nods and says he is, but Chance seems to have taken a step back from Billy’s mentoring. He explains that Chance came up with a good idea recently, and Devon seemed impressed and was willing to collaborate on the idea, but Billy just shot it down for no good reason. He thinks Billy was just flexing.

Mamie asks how Chance took that.

Mamie and Nate talk.
CBS

Nate says Chance didn’t enjoy being second-guessed and dismissed.

Mamie says it’s a similar situation to what Nate was going through a while ago with Devon.

Nate says she’s not wrong… There’s definitely some friction between Devon and Billy, and Chance turned to Nate for support. He told Chance he’d do whatever he could to help.

Mamie thinks it’s an interesting development… If Nate can keep Chance on his side, that’ll mean that Billy and Jill have fewer allies, and that’s a good thing!

Nate Hastings.
CBS

Chancellor-Winters

Billy figures Chance is upset that he didn’t support his proposal and asks if there’s something Chance wants to say about it.

Chance says he still has a lot to learn and knows he and Billy are still trying to find their groove. He says in their meeting, he felt a shift, and he’s not sure he’s comfortable with it.

Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Billy asks what type of shift he felt.

Chance says it was a good idea, but he felt that Billy’s response to it was part of another issue… Once Devon showed that he liked the idea, Billy stepped back and slammed on the brakes. He says the meeting turned into a tug-of-war between Billy and Devon.

Billy says one thing he’s come to appreciate about Chance is how blunt he is. He says Chance needs to understand that he and Devon are trying to find a balance, but there’s no power struggle between them.

Billy Abbott.
CBS

Chance says he wishes he could believe that, but it feels like Billy and Devon are trying to prove something to each other. He says he loves working at Chancellor-Winters and loves working with Billy, but he won’t be used by Billy or Devon. He says Billy used his pitch to go after Devon. Billy shelved an idea that he admitted was good simply because Devon supported it. He asks how that’s good business.

Billy says that’s business; they bounce ideas off of each other, and they use some and shelve others. He says Chance is still new and is taking things too personally.

Chance says it’s not about his feelings, and Billy should stop being so condescending. He knows what he saw, and Nate saw it, too.

Chance talks to Billy.
CBS

Billy nods. Chance talked to Nate about it, did he?

Chance says Billy left the meeting. They were discussing how to develop his proposal into something he would approve of.

Billy asks if Nate approved of his idea.

Billy Abbott
CBS

Chance says he did, and he values Nate’s input.

Billy says he’s sorry that Chance is upset about the way he responded to his pitch, but he’s critiquing Chance’s ideas because he wants him to learn the ropes and understand how the corporate world works. He says if Chance is going to get upset every time Billy makes a comment, maybe they need to rethink the situation.

Chance says it’s not about his feelings. He can take criticism, but he doesn’t like to be weaponized in a power struggle he has nothing to do with.

Chance talks to Billy.
CBS

Billy says he’s sorry he’s upset, but he gave him his opinion. He’s not using Chance and doesn’t have any ulterior motives. He wants to see Chance succeed, and is protecting him because he wants to nurture him.

Chance says he appreciates the start that Billy’s given him, but maybe it’s time to give him a little less protection and a little more room.

Crimson Lights

Phyllis says she’s sorry to hear about Amanda’s mom… She was beautiful, classy, and impressive. She says Amanda should have had more time with her.

Phyllis and Amanda hug.
CBS

Amanda says she’s grateful for the time they had together. Speaking of time… She has to go! She asks what Phyllis is up to.

Phyllis says she’ll just sit around thinking about her bad luck and bad choices.

Amanda laughs and tells her she’s too fierce for that.

Amanda laughs as she talks to Phyllis.
CBS

Phyllis grins and gives her a hug. She tells her to “go whip Chancellor-Winters into shape.”

Amanda says she’ll do just that. She leaves the cafe.

The Abbott Mansion

Ashley asks Audra if she’s threatening her.

Ashley and Audra talk.
CBS

Audra says it’s a friendly warning… She has much more experience at fighting dirty than Ashley does, and she enjoys it a lot more than she should.

Ashley says Audra must be in love with Tucker.

Audra says she understands him.

Audra talks to Ashley.
CBS

Ashley says believing that is Audra’s first mistake.

Audra says she and Tucker are alike, and their minds work the same way… They believe in the same things.

Ashley says Tucker only believes in himself.

Ashley rolls her eyes.
CBS

Audra says that’s how she knows Ashley doesn’t get Tucker. And the way she treated him… She says she jumped through hoops to get Tucker to like her and then dumped him over some bogus drama that only happened in her head.

Ashley says, “Poor, stupid Audra.” She says Audra must have it bad… This makes the situation even more interesting.

Audra tells her just to admit that she wants Tucker back.

Audra talks to Ashley.
CBS

Ashley says she doesn’t have to admit anything to her… “You bitch.”

Audra says it doesn’t matter because Ashley’s already lost… And she’s lost badly.

Ashley doesn’t say anything. She opens the door, and Audra walks out without another word. Ashley slams the door shut behind her.

Ashley crosses her arms and looks at Audra.
CBS

The GCAC Dining Room

Jack tells Tucker that Ashley would never choose him… She’s done with him for good.

Tucker says Jack doesn’t see what’s going on here… Everything that happened between him and Jack, including their breakup in Paris, has to do with Jack. He says Jack has a pathetic need to keep an iron grip on his family, which caused Kyle almost to betray their family, and it pushed Billy back to Chancellor-Winters. He says Jack’s grip on the family nearly broke Ashley’s spirit. He says Jack should look in the mirror if he’s looking for someone to blame.

Tucker gestures as he talks to Jack.
CBS

Jack asks if that’s all that Tucker has… He’s just throwing around absurd accusations. He says they should start with the facts. He says Kyle never betrayed the family; in fact, his actions helped put Tucker down for good, and Billy went back to Chancellor-Winters to protect his mother from Tucker’s attacks. He says Tucker broke Ashley’s spirit by insisting she turn her back on the family she loves.

Tucker laughs. “See? Pathetic! Whatever lets you sleep at night.”

Jack says he’s having a lovely meal with his wife and son, and Tucker is sitting alone at a bar, knowing that Devon has shut him out of his life. He asks Tucker who the pathetic one really is.

Jack Abbott.
CBS

Tucker says he has to hand it to Jack and the rest of the Abbotts… They really did a number on him by resurrecting the old scandal and influencing Ashley against him. They brought him to his knees. He says he should thank Jack for creating an opportunity for him to go bigger than he ever has.

Jack says Tucker doesn’t realize how absurd he sounds.

Tucker says Ashley selling him Glissade has become the key to his future. He couldn’t be more excited about his new company and his new life… Especially when he kicks Jabot’s ass!

Tucker McCall holds a drink.
CBS

Jack says he thought Tucker wasn’t coming after Jabot anymore.

Tucker says their new innovative company will make Jabot look like a tired old workhorse.

Jack says Tucker’s arrogance amazes him. A ragtag company thrown together and ran by a man who doesn’t know anything about the beauty business won’t be a threat to Jabot.

Jack talks to Tucker.
CBS

Tucker says he’s a big believer in the power of positive thinking.

Jack says he’ll look forward to watching Tucker fail… And stay away from Ashley in the meantime! He heads back to his table.

Tucker calls after him, “What if she can’t stay away from me?”

Jack and Tucker.
CBS

Jack comes back and tells him not to tempt him… He’ll take the gloves off!

Tucker throws his head back in mock exasperation. Is that a threat?

Jack tells him to call it whatever he wants. He wants Tucker to stay away from Ashley; he’ll never hurt her again! Jack’s phone rings, and he leaves the dining room to take the call.

Tucker closes his eyes.
CBS

Diane tells Kyle they’ve publicly discredited and humiliated Tucker. She says Tucker’s marriage has been annulled, and his son wants nothing to do with him, yet he continues to be a menace to all of them!

Kyle says Tucker will get bored and move on.

Diane doubts it. She says Tucker is obsessed with Ashley. She worries that Tucker could suck Ashley back into his orbit, which would mean Jack would be pulled in as well.

Diane talks to Kyle.
CBS

Kyle says Jack can handle himself.

Diane says Jack’s dealing with a lot. He’s got to deal with Jabot and looking after Nikki.

Kyle says Jack can have them pick up the slack at Jabot if needed.

Kyle talks to his mom.
CBS

Diane nods. True.

Kyle says he doesn’t think Diane is really concerned about the company… He thinks she’s more concerned about Jack’s connection with Nikki.

Society

Nate tells Mamie that he agrees… Chance could be a valuable asset for the good of the company. He doesn’t want Chance to be used as a pawn between them and the Abbotts.

Nate Hastings talks to Mamie.
CBS

Mamie says Jill has declared war; there’s no backing down now!

Nate says Mamie brought war when she invested in the company.

Mamie says her investment was in the family. This is about the Winters’ legacy. They have to come together to make sure that’s what happens.

Mamie Johnson talks to Nate.
CBS

Nate says he loves Mamie, but he’s not interested in contributing to this struggle. He’s lived through conflicts before, first with Devon and then with Newman, and they never end well.

Mamie says that’s because Nate didn’t get the ending he wanted, but this time, it’ll be different.

Nate says no good will come from this. He tells her she needs to give up the battle with Jill.

Nate Hastings.
CBS

Mamie says if she puts down her sword, Jill will take a swing at her. She won’t be caught off guard!

Nate asks if there’s any way he could convince her otherwise.

Mamie says she won’t stop doing what’s good for her family. She says Jill Abbott has had a stranglehold on Chancellor-Winters for too long; it’s time they take complete control of their company, and she’s there to ensure that happens!

Mamie Johnson.
CBS

Chancellor-Winters

Amanda knocks on the office door and sees Chance and Billy facing off. She asks if it’s a bad time.

Billy shakes his head. They’re just ironing out some work issues.

Chance Chancellor, Amanda Sinclair, and Billy Abbott.
CBS

Chance says he’s still finding his way. He says it’s nice to see her.

Amanda nods and returns the courtesy. She hopes their conversation wasn’t anything serious.

Billy says they have it all figured out.

Amanda Sinclair.
CBS

Chance agrees. He leaves the office.

Amanda says that now Chance is gone, Billy needs to tell her what’s really going on.

Abby walks out of the elevator and sees Chance. She says she knows the look on his face… What’s wrong?

Chance says he’s trying to learn how to work with Billy Abbott. He leaves the reception area, and Abby follows him.

Abby Newman talks with Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Amanda tells Billy that Chance is Jill’s grandson… If Billy has a problem with Chance, he needs to solve it now. Chance is on their side.

Billy says Chance is new to business. He’s ambitious and needs to see how the business world works, especially at Chancellor-Winters; some lessons are harder to learn than others.

Amanda says Chance is an adult, an ex-cop, and a war veteran. Does Billy really think he needs a lesson?

Amanda Sinclair.
CBS

Billy says he does need lessons in business, and Amanda shouldn’t be treating him with kid gloves because of his history with Devon and Abby.

Amanda says Jill wants the team to pull together.

Billy says that’s what he wants, too, but Amanda doesn’t seem to trust him.

Billy Abbott.
CBS

The GCAC Dining Room

Diane tells Kyle she and Nikki will never be friends and admits her own actions had a lot to do with that.

Kyle asks if Diane is unhappy that Jack is helping Nikki.

Kyle Abbott.
CBS

Diane says she understands Jack needs to step in to help an old friend who desperately needs him, but she worries about Jack’s own battle with addiction.

Kyle says that was a long time ago, and Jack’s perspective can help Nikki. He has faith in his dad.

Diane says she does, too; Jack Abbott is as strong as they come! While they’re waiting, they should talk about tomorrow’s agenda for the marketing meeting… Or better yet, they should continue their conversation from the other night.

Diane Abbott-Jenkins.
CBS

Kyle laughs and says he’d rather talk about Tucker.

Diane says Kyle admitted it was hard on him to see his mother in the position he thought he deserved, and that he’s struggling not to resent it. She asks how they can fix his resentment toward her position as co-CEO.

Jack comes back from his phone call.

Kyle laughs.
CBS

The Abbott Mansion

Ashley paces around the living room before she settles on the couch. She closes her eyes and hears herself speak, “Are you sure this is the best way to handle things?”

She opens her eyes. “Yes.”

Ashley Abbott.
CBS

The GCAC Dining Room

Jack takes a seat with his wife and son and asks what he missed.

Kyle says it sounded like Jack read Tucker the Riot Act.

Kyle Abbott.
CBS

Jack nods. He says Tucker is a “first-class egomaniac” and can’t be trusted. He made it clear that he should stay away from Ashley and their family.

Kyle says he understands, but he shouldn’t warn Tucker… It’s like lighting a match under the fire!

Diane agrees… Why antagonize him?

Jack says he’s hoping to provoke Tucker into crossing a line, and then they’ll have something to crucify him with.

Jack and Diane Abbott.
CBS

Audra’s GCAC Suite

Audra enters her room and pours herself a drink.

There’s a knock at the door. It’s Tucker. He comes in and says they should celebrate together… Audra should start practicing her French… They leave in three days!

Tucker and Audra toast.
CBS

Audra holds up her drink. She’ll drink to that!

They clink glasses. “To Paris!”

Audra says Paris can’t come quick enough for her.

Audra Charles.
CBS

Tucker says he woke up alone… Where did Audra slip off to?

Audra says she had errands to run.

Tucker grins and asks if one of those errands was to confront Ashley. He can’t wait to hear all about it!

Tucker McCall grins.
CBS

Crimson Lights

Chance enters the coffee shop, followed by Abby. Chance tells her she didn’t have to follow him.

Abby jokes that she wanted a cup of coffee but then says she’s concerned that Chance isn’t happy at work.

Abby Newman talks to Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Chance says it’s not that; Chancellor-Winters has been a bit more difficult than he thought it would be.

Abby says it’s a big jump from police work to the corporate world.

Chance says the work is fine… It’s the politics and the people that are causing friction.

Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Abby asks if he’s talking about Billy.

Chance says it’s been… Interesting.

Abby thinks it’s not interesting in a good way. She says she’s going to be a member of the board of directors for Chancellor-Winters and wants to know if there are any issues.

Abby Newman.
CBS

Chance is stunned… Did she say Chancellor-Winters board member?

Abby grins and says it’s pretty much a done deal; she’s just waiting for the vote.

Chance laughs and says if he’d known, he would have shut his mouth and bought her a coffee.

Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Abby says he can still buy her a cup of coffee. She says she won’t be taking notes; she’s on his side. She says he’s Dominic’s other dad, and if there’s anything she can do to help…

Chance says he appreciates it, but he’s fine.

Abby gives him a look.

Chance says maybe “fine” is overstating it… He knew it wasn’t going to be easy when he agreed to have Billy mentor him, but he didn’t realize Billy was going to come with a bunch of baggage.

Abby Newman.
CBS

Chancellor-Winters

Amanda tells Billy she does trust him.

Billy thinks she sees him as the guy she hung out with at the end of class and shared a bourbon with while they played cards.

Billy Abbott.
CBS

Amanda says that was a million years ago, but she does have faith in him… And maybe she does have a soft spot for Chance. Walking in and seeing the people you love having sex on the sofa created a bond between them. She says she’s confused; Jill told her he was mentoring Chance, and things were going well.

Billy says things were going well, but Chance is one of those people who wants success straight out of the gate and has a chip on his shoulder every time Billy criticizes one of his ideas.

Amanda thinks it sounds like Devon and Nate the first time around. Devon was way too harsh, and Nate took it as badly as possible.

Amanda Sinclair and Billy Abbott.
CBS

Billy says Devon’s gone in the complete opposite direction now… Devon loves everything that comes out of Chance’s mouth, and he’s doing it to make Billy look like a dream killer!

Amanda asks, “Are you?”

Billy stands up, annoyed. He says he’s not in the business of shooting down good ideas.

Billy Abbott talks angrily.
CBS

Amanda asks if Chance isn’t in the middle of a power struggle between Billy and Devon.

Billy sighs. Amanda too? He says Chance said the same thing.

Amanda asks if Chance is right.

Amanda Sinclair.
CBS

Billy says he told Chance that his idea needed work, and he stands by his decision, but everyone seems to think it’s a big deal.

Amanda says it’s because they’re all in the right, and Billy is in denial.

Crimson Lights

Abby tells Chance that she wants to help if he’s having problems with Billy.

Abby Newman talks with Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Chance says he’d much rather talk about Abby and the amazing move she’s making to join the board. He asks what will happen to Society.

Abby says she hired Tessa to manage the restaurant so she can be in the office more.

Chance says she’ll be working with Devon… That’s a perk!

Chance talks to Abby.
CBS

Abby ignores his comment. She asks if Chance knows Amanda is in town.

Chance nods. He saw her.

Abby says she saw her, too, and it was uncomfortable, to say the least.

Abby Newman.
CBS

Chance says it’s understandable. He says he sees Devon every day, but they make it work. He says Abby and Devon belong together.

Abby thanks him for saying that. She says she doesn’t expect Amanda to get there any time soon.

Chance says, “Things change.”

Chance Chancellor.
CBS

Abby says they do. She says she always wanted the best for Chance.

Chance smiles and says he’s happy to say his life is moving in that direction.

Abby says he deserves all of it and more.

Abby Newman smiles.
CBS

Audra’s GCAC Suite

Audra asks Tucker how he knew she went to see Ashley… Did she call him?

Tucker says he knows because he knows Audra… But he doesn’t know why she’d see Ashley. He asks if he didn’t make himself clear about how he feels about Audra. If she’s insecure at all, he’ll make himself clear again and again until she believes it. He says she’s the only one for him.

Tucker and Audra sit and talk.
CBS

Audra says she’s not feeling insecure… Not anymore.

Tucker asks what she did… Should he be worried?

Audra says Ashley’s still standing if that’s what he’s asking. She says it felt good to face Ashley and let her know where she stands… If Ashley thinks she can come between them, she’s going to have a situation on her hands! She clinks glasses with Tucker in a toast.

Audra Charles.
CBS

Tucker grins and says they should let that be the end of it. There’s nothing to be gained from provoking Ashley.

Audra says it wasn’t a provocation; it was a warning.

The Abbott Mansion

Jack, Diane, and Kyle come home. Jack sees Ashley sitting on the couch and asks how she’s doing.

Diane, Ashley, and Jack Abbott.
CBS

Ashley says she’s fine.

Jack isn’t so sure.

Ashley says he has to believe it, and he has to believe her. She’s accepted what happened in Paris, and she’s moving on!

Ashley Abbott looks up at her brother.
CBS

Jack says she seemed upset and confused.

Ashley says she’s not upset or confused anymore… Things are going her way.

Jack asks what that means.

Jack talks to Ashley.
CBS

Ashley says it means that she’s excited about her future. She puts her coat on.

Jack asks where she’s going.

Ashley says she’s got an idea she’s messing around with at her laboratory at Jabot.

Ashley puts on her coat.
CBS

Diane says that sounds promising.

Ashley grins. Very! She leaves the house.

Diane tells Jack that Ashley sounds like she’s completely over Tucker. She’s excited about the future and enthusiastic about her work. Jack needs to stop worrying about her! She’s going to be okay.

Diane talks to Jack.
CBS

Audra’s GCAC Suite

Tucker’s cell phone rings. He answers.

It’s Ashley calling. She asks if Tucker will meet her for a drink.

Tucker talks on the phone.
