Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Stark threatened to kill Phyllis unless she left town, Nick caught Nate & Victoria in the act, and Mariah & Tessa introduced their baby.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle tells Jack it’s a nightmare and he can’t believe that Diane is in jail.
Jack says that he can’t believe it either.
Kyle says they can’t just leave her sitting in a cell.
Jack says they need to prove her innocence.
Kyle says that Summer is sure that Diane is the cause of Phyllis’s death.
Jack says that she’s just hurting and lashing out.
The Athletic Club
Summer comes up to Chance in the jazz lounge. She says that something’s been nagging at her since the night of Phyllis’s death.
Chance says that maybe it’s not the best place to be right now.
Summer says she can’t stay away.
Stark’s Motel Room
Jeremy says that if she thinks she’s going back on her deal, she’ll regret it.
Phyllis says that he’s not a killer.
Stark says she doesn’t know what he’s capable of, and that if he has a choice of going back to prison or killing Phyllis, that’s not a choice at all.
Crimson Lights
Adam tells Sally that after the ultrasound, they’ll know the baby’s sex, and then she can start making some clothing to suit the baby.
Sally says that she never thought about that.
Victor and Nick come into the cafe at that moment and see Adam and Sally laughing together.
Adam says that it’s a Newman family reunion.
Nick says he’s not there to see Adam and kisses Sally.
Victor says he’s surprised to see Adam there with “that lady”.
Adam says he’ll let them have their time together and goes to leave.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack says that Summer wants to blame someone, but the truth will come out.
Kyle says that he’s glad that Jack has faith in Diane because nobody else does.
Jack wonders what they found at the house.
Kyle says whatever it was, it was planted. He wonders how they got into the house to plant the evidence.
Jack says it’s his fault, Diane wouldn’t be in this position if not for him.
The Athletic Club
Chance says he can’t imagine how painful it is for Summer to be there.
Summer says that it’s part of her penance to be there.
Chance says she doesn’t need to pay penance.
Summer tears up and says that she should have believed Phyllis, and she’s going to regret that for the rest of her life.
She says that coming there isn’t just penance, it brings her comfort. It’s the last place she saw her mom alive.
Stark’s Motel Room
Phyllis says she has a plan, she’ll say that she came up with the entire scheme and keep Stark out of it.
Jeremy says there are too many holes, it won’t work. There’s no way he wouldn’t be implicated.
Phyllis says Stark thinks he’s scary, but he’s nothing compared to the terrifying thought of not being there for her children.
She says that her strength as a mother is more than he will ever have.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle says that he refuses to let Jack take any of the blame and that it’s fully on Stark.
Jack says that he thought that standing up to Stark would clear up the matter, but he’s been one step ahead the whole way, and now Phyllis has paid with her life.
Kyle says that Stark doesn’t value life at all.
Jack says he deserves the guilt he’s feeling, he’s handled it terribly, and they know that Jeremy is a murderer. He says that there’s nothing to stop him from killing again.
Stark’s Motel Room
Phyllis says that Stark didn’t hear the pain in her children’s voices, and she was wrong to go through with the plan.
Jeremy says that he doesn’t care what she thinks, he just wants her to go away.
Phyllis says she didn’t know her children would suffer.
Jeremy says that justice has been served, and seeing Diane going away in cuffs must have made it worth it.
Phyllis says she’s never going to get over it.
Jeremy says the only reason her kids softened to her is that they thought she was dead, and if she came back to life, there will be serious charges against her. She’ll go to jail instead of Diane.
He asks if she’s going to let Diane win.
Crimson Lights
Nick offers to drive Sally to the Athletic Club.
Victor comes up to Nick and says that was quite a display.
Adam asks what he means.
Victor says that both of them are fawning over Sally.
Adam shrugs it off and says he’s leaving.
Victor tells him not to walk away from him.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle says one way or another they have to prove that Jeremy is behind Phyllis’s death.
He says that he’s going to the police station to check on his mom.
Jack says to give her his love, and he’ll show up later. He’s looking for the right lawyer.
The Athletic Club
Summer asks what Chance is doing there, he can’t be working.
Chance says he actually is, it helps him get in the right headspace.
Summer asks if it would help if she re-enacted Phyllis’s death.
Chance brushes it off and says that he will call someone for her… Maybe Kyle or her dad.
Summer says that they can’t help, only knowing that her mom’s killer is punished will help her.

Stark’s Motel Room
Stark says that Phyllis made her bed and now she has to sleep in it.
Phyllis sits down and says that he’s right, she needs to stick with the plan, or she’ll lose everything.
She says that she just has to accept the fact that she’s got to start life anew.
Jeremy says that he’s glad she thinks that. He tells her that they could be on a tropical island, sipping their drinks while they watch a sunset.
Phyllis asks what he means by “their drinks”.
Jeremy laughs and says, “Change of plans… I’m coming with you!”
Phyllis asks why he changed his plans and why he wants to do that.
She says he doesn’t have to do that, he could stay in Genoa City.
Stark says that he wants to be with her so there’s no running back home.
His phone pings and he says that he’s arranged to send half of her money to the island.
Phyllis asks why he’d implicate himself by doing that.
She says that the police will be on his tail, and it’ll all blow up in their face.
Jeremy says that maybe she’s right, he’ll stay there until Diane is convicted, then he’ll join her after.
He says that they make a great team. There are endless possibilities.
Crimson Lights
Victor and Adam sit down and talk over coffee.
Victor says that he thinks Adam is making a terrible mistake with Sally.
Adam asks what she did now.
Victor says that pining over Sally will give him nothing but heartache and disappointment.
Sally’s Suite at the GCAC
Sally and Nick
Sally talks about how she’d seen Aria, and that it was like seeing a perfect little miracle.
Nick says he wants to hear about Aria, but not right now.
Sally asks if he’s ok.
Nick says it’s been a brutal day, and he’s really wiped out.
Sally hugs him.
Stark’s Motel Room
Phyllis asks if Jeremy coming with her would complicate things.
Jeremy says that they both like complications. He says they’re husband and wife now, she belongs to him.
Phyllis breaks his grip and runs to the door.
Stark steps in front and stops her. He asks her where the hell she thinks she’s going.
Crimson Lights
Victor says Adam is wasting his time.
Adam says he doesn’t know what Victor’s point is, and that he’s bonded with Sally for life.
Victor says he should focus on McCall Unlimited and that he needs to pull his head from the ground.
Adam says that Victor hasn’t heard… Sally’s having his baby and he’s still in love with her.
Sally’s Suite at the GCAC
Sally says that she’s sorry that Nick had a bad day and that the memorial must have been hard on him.
Nick says that Diane was arrested, and Victoria’s setting herself up for a load of trouble.
Sally says it sounds like a lot of weight to carry around. She says that Nick always takes care of her and it’s her time to look after him.
Nick says that being with her is exactly what he needs.
Society
Jack comes up to Christine in the restaurant and says that he asked her assistant where she was.
Christine says she doesn’t know if they should talk.
Jack says that he needs to get a lawyer, and asks for a recommendation.
Christine says she’d like to help, but her hands are tied.
She wishes him luck in finding an attorney.
The Athletic Club
Summer says she knows he’s doing everything he can to find out, but doesn’t want him to focus on Stark. She says that Diane is the reason that her mother is dead.
Chance says he doesn’t want her to pull any more stunts like trying to get a reaction from Diane at the memorial. He says he’ll drive her home.
Kyle comes in and says that he’s done enough.
Stark’s Motel Room
Phyllis says he can’t stop her from leaving.
Jeremy says he sure can, and he’ll put her in a shallow grave if he has to.
Phyllis says he’s bluffing.
Jeremy says that she’s already dead and nobody will look for her body.
He picks up some scissors and approaches her menacingly.
Phyllis asks what he’s doing.
Stark doesn’t answer. He charges after her, and she ducks into the washroom with Jeremy in fast pursuit.
Sally’s Suite at the GCAC
Nick says that he can’t wait to go to the doctor’s appointment with her and find out the baby’s sex.
Sally says she has news that he might not like.
Nick says he’s listening.
Sally tells him that Adam is coming to the appointment as well.
Crimson Lights
Victor is shocked by this revelation about the baby and wonders if Sally is telling the truth about the baby being Adam’s.
Adam says that he assures Victor that it’s legit.
Victor wonders why she hasn’t told Nick.
Adam says she did tell him.
Victor says it pisses him off that Adam has anything to do with Sally.
He says that Adam shouldn’t be pining over a woman who’s with his brother.
Adam says that his purpose in life is his children. He gets up and leaves the cafe.
The Athletic Club
Kyle asks if Summer’s ok.
Summer says she’s fine.
Kyle says that he just came from visiting his mother in jail, and that Chance and the rest of the incompetent police are screwing everything up.
Chance says he has evidence against Diane.
Kyle says it’s borderline harassment, and to stay away from Summer, or he’ll find a way to make Chance pay.
Summer and Kyle leave the club.
Society
Jack says that he’s not asking that much, he wants to know if there’s anything that Christine can tell him.
Christine tells him good night and good luck. She leaves the restaurant.
Jack pulls out his phone and makes a call.
He says that Michael is Diane’s last chance, and asks if there’s anything he can do to change Michael’s mind.
Stark’s Motel Room
Phyllis is covered in blood and there is a body wrapped in a shower curtain on the floor.
She opens the door and drags the body outside.
