On the last episode of Y&R, Victoria offered Nate the COO position as Victor & Nikki questioned her decisions, and Sally was discharged from the hospital.

Ashley tells Tucker that Traci wants her and Jack to settle their differences.
Tucker wonders how Ashley’s hatred for Diane isn’t wearing her out.
Ashley says that she’s not doing it because of hatred… She’s doing it out of love for her brother.
Society
Diane tells Jack she tried to bridge the gap between Kyle and Summer, but she thinks she might have made things worse.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer chases Kyle in and tells him it’s fine if he hates her, but she wants him to stop with the silent treatment.
Kyle says that he doesn’t want to talk about it.
Abby & Devon’s Apartment
Abby and Devon are cuddling on the couch when the doorbell rings. Abby gets up and meets Chance at the door.
Chance is pushing Dominic’s carriage and says he needs to drop Dominic off early as something has come up in a case that he needs to deal with.
Chance rolls Dominic’s carriage in and says that he wants to talk about Dominic… He says the whole situation isn’t working out.
Devon asks if there’s a problem.
Chance says that it’s stressing Dominic out, being switched between houses.
Abby asks if Chance wants to change the custody agreement.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Tucker asks Ashley if she’s trying to save Jack from himself. He says that Jack’s a grown man who doesn’t need protection. He figures that if Diane causes chaos at Jabot, what’s the problem?
Ashley says that Tucker doesn’t understand… Her father started the company, and she wants to protect his legacy.
Tucker says that Ashley has the ability to build her own legacy.
Ashley laughs and says she knows that Tucker wants to build a legacy with her.
Tucker says she has to purge herself of her hatred for Diane, and her world will be magnificent again.
Society
Jack asks Diane what she could have possibly done to hurt Kyle & Summer’s marriage.
Diane explains that Summer asked her to talk to Kyle about their marriage.
She flashes back to a conversation that she had with Kyle and Summer at Society.
Diane told Kyle says that Harrison was crying in the night for the last three nights, and he asked what he’d done to make his mom and dad upset.
Kyle asks why she didn’t come to them with this earlier.
Jack says it’s a lot for Harrison to deal with. He thinks it’s a lot for Diane too.
Diane says she told a white lie and hoped to improve things between Kyle & Summer, but it didn’t work.
Jack can’t believe that she lied to Kyle… Again!
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Chance tells Abby that he suggests a slight change for their situation with Dominic… He says that Abby and Devon should move into the Chancellor house with Dominic.
Chance says he’ll get an apartment close to the police station; he’d rather Dominic live in the family house, which would be his permanent home.
Devon says that’s not what he expected.
Chance says he still wants to share custody and wanted to talk to them about it for Dominic’s sake. He leaves the apartment so they can talk about it.
Abby says she wasn’t expecting that; it’s a huge decision for both of them.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley tells Tucker that it is exhausting hating Diane, but she can’t just turn it off like a switch.
Tucker says that Ashley’s not the only one exhausted by it because Ashley always brings Diane with them. He says they can’t go anywhere without Ashley discussing Diane, Jack, or Jabot.
Ashley says she’s sorry that everything can’t always be about Tucker. She can’t just walk away from Jabot; it’s in her DNA.
Tucker says she’ll always be consumed by hatred. He says if Diane brings terror down on Jabot, they’ll scoop it up and roll it into their own company.
He says to let Diane crash and burn; it’s the only way to convince Jack of her true intentions.
Society
Diane tells Jack it was an innocent white lie, and she’s concerned that Harrison might have picked up on the tension. She says that she just wanted to rattle Kyle.
She flashes back to talking to Kyle and Summer.
Kyle said that he had no idea Harrison was suffering, and it seems strange that this is the first he’s heard of it.
Summer says Harrison is why they should work things out between them… They owe him a sense of security.
Kyle asks Summer if she already knew that Harrison was upset.
Summer says she stays in the poolhouse, and Harrison seemed fine on the surface when she put him to bed at night, but she could feel that he was worried about something.
Kyle says he had no idea that Harrison was having problems. He says that Harrison is always happy… He says that he thought he’d have heard or sensed Harrison’s discomfort.
He says something feels off about Diane’s story.
Diane tells Jack that the whole situation spiraled from there, and she had to admit to Kyle that she might have exaggerated the situation.
Jack asks if she knows what she’s done.
Diane says she shouldn’t have used Harrison in that way, but she had their best interests at heart. She says Kyle stormed out when she admitted to her half-truth.

The Abbott Mansion
Kyle tells Summer that he doesn’t know what he wants, but it’s been hell for him.
Summer says it’s been hell on her too, and she thinks that Harrison is picking up on it.
Kyle says they need to have some time apart while they figure it out.
Summer asks if he’s talking about a formal separation. She says he can’t mean it.
Kyle says he can’t get beyond her betrayal; she lied to him for weeks when all he wanted to do was comfort her. He asks how she could have been so cruel to him.
Summer says she was caught between protecting her mother and…
Kyle interrupts and says Summer was destroying his mother’s life, and Summer froze him out of hers.
Summer says that Kyle did the same when he was working with Victor.
Kyle says it’s completely different; she broke his heart and didn’t trust him to help her through the trauma she was going through.
Summer says they can get through this… She loves him, and he loves her… Doesn’t he?
Kyle says she chose her mother over him and let his mother rot in jail, where she would have gone to prison for murder.
Summer says she’d never have let it get that far.
Kyle says he feels that Summer recruited Diane to bring them back together.
Summer admits that she asked Diane to help Kyle to forgive her. She says she was afraid of losing him.
Kyle says Summer has made one bad choice after another. He says they need time to process what happened and to see what’s left between them… If anything.
Summer says that if Kyle ever loved her, they should be able to work things out.
Kyle says he can’t do it right now; he needs time to think things through.
Summer asks him what that means… Does he want her to move out of the house completely?
Society
Jack tells Diane he’s not surprised that her plan to help Summer blew up in her face.
Diane says she had to try because she was partially to blame for their problems.
Jack asks what she means.
Diane says that Phyllis brought Jeremy Stark to town because of her.
Jack says that was Phyllis’s choice, but Diane shouldn’t have used Harrison as leverage.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley tells Tucker that she does have some knowledge about starting a new company… She went to Paris and created a company using patents for her perfume.
Tucker says they’d be unstoppable together. He says it’d be wonderful to build something as a couple. He’s come up with a name for the company: Simply Ashley.
Ashley looks intrigued.
Tucker says that they’d be the power company of the decade, setting the industry on fire.
Ashley says that it’d burn Jack up.
Tucker says she’s bringing up Jack again. He asks if Ashley is in.
Ashley says she’s definitely in.
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Devon tells Abby that Dominic having one house to call home would be good for him. He asks how Abby feels about it.
Abby says that she would be ok with it, but Jill stays at the Chancellor house when she’s in town. She says that Jill gave her a piece of her mind the last time she saw her, but they could probably make it work.
Abby asks if Devon would be ok giving up his home, even if it’s the best thing for Dominic.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle tells Summer that she can live in the pool house; it’s far enough away from him.
Summer says Kyle is throwing her out because she chose to protect her mom, even though Diane has done worse.
Kyle says Diane would never have stooped as low as Phyllis.
Summer says Diane did the same thing as Phyllis; she faked her death too.
Kyle says that Summer’s trying to punish him for her lies.
Jack and Diane walk into the house and overhear Kyle and Summer arguing.
Jack asks Summer if he can speak to Kyle alone.
Summer leaves the room.
Jack asks if he heard correctly… Did Kyle just ask Summer to have a trial separation?
Devon & Abby’s Apartment
Devon tells Abby that leaving the penthouse behind wouldn’t be easy… There are a lot of memories in those walls. He says that he bought the penthouse for Hillary, and her reaction wasn’t so good.
He flashes back to Hillary’s reaction, thinking that he was trying to impress her by buying a penthouse.
Hillary said she felt like she was just along for the ride while he whipped out his checkbook. She asks why he surprised her with a home, of all things.
Devon said that he bought it because he loved Hillary and wanted her to be happy.
Devon tells Abby that Hamilton-Winters started there right in the apartment and that Neil passed away there.
He says there are many memories there and that he and Abby realized they loved each other in the penthouse. He says it’s a tough decision to leave it behind.
Abby wonders why Chance wants to leave the Chancellor mansion.
Devon says Chance is probably just tired of living alone in such a large house and figures there’s a better use for it.
Tucker’s Suite at the GCAC
Tucker and Ashley are in bed together, undressed as they cuddle and talk.
Tucker suggests they call the company McCall-Abbott Industries.
Ashley says she doesn’t like it. It should definitely be Abbott-McCall Industries.
Tucker suggests “McAbbott International”.
Ashley laughs.
Tucker says whatever name they come up with must convey that they mean business.
Ashley says that universal or global is too expansive.
Tucker comes up with some other names, none of them any good.
Ashley says before they come up with a name, she wants to know how things will work… She wants to know their work dynamic.
Tucker says they’d be equals, she’d create things in the lab, and he’d use his remarkable business acumen to run the business.
Ashley says that he ran his other business into the ground.
Tucker says he was distracted by Ashley and didn’t care about the business, and he’s sure she’d never allow him to make the same mistakes again.
Ashley smiles and kisses Tucker’s hand.
The Abbott Mansion
Diane sits on the couch and says that her whole life has been one step forward and two steps back.
Jack says everyone’s been affected by Phyllis, and everyone’s trying to get their footing.
Diane says it was stupid to use Harrison as leverage.
Jack says she was trying to help Kyle.
Diane says Phyllis must be having a laugh right now… She’s staying away to avoid facing the music, but she knows it’s tearing the family apart, and she’s loving it.
Jack doesn’t look convinced.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Audra comes up to Kyle, who’s sitting at the bar. She says, “We meet again!”
Audra says Kyle doesn’t look to be in a great mood… Again. She asks if she should just walk away.
Kyle tells her to stay; he’d like to buy her a drink.
Crimson Lights
Summer walks into the cafe’s patio, texting her mom that she misses her.
Chance sits down with a coffee and notices Summer.
Tucker’s Suite at the GCAC
Ashley hands Tucker a glass of Champagne, and they toast to new beginnings.
They kiss and make out.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack asks Diane to promise to embrace the positive side of life and let the negatives take care of themselves. He says they are getting married soon, and they don’t have time for negativity.
Diane says she’s worried that Ashley and Billy will take her promotion badly.
Jack shows her the press release that his assistant helped with, and he sends it out to be published.
They kiss and hug.
Crimson Lights
Chance walks over and talks with Summer.
He says Summer looks like she could use someone to talk to.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Audra says that Kyle looks like he needs to talk.
Kyle says his whole week has been disastrous, and he needs to forget everything that’s happening in his life.
Audra says she knows the feeling, and she’s happy to help. She raises her glass in a toast, and they clink their drinks together.
