Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Victor’s interrogation of the delivery driver yielded results, Nikki arranged to meet Jordan, and Lily voted against Devon.
Crimson Lights
Summer is sitting and having a coffee on the patio when Daniel walks in.
He walks up to her, shakes her hand, and says, “Hello, I’m Daniel Romalotti, your brother.”
Summer looks confused. “Yeah? I know?”
Daniel says he wouldn’t know since she hasn’t returned any of his calls or texts.
Summer stammers that she’s sorry.
Daniel says if he takes more than 5 minutes to answer her, she thinks he’s neglecting her.
Summer tells Daniel that it’s because there’s a situation with Harrison, and it’s really bad.
Daniel gives her a comforting hug.
A Back Alley
Nikki paces around the alley, waiting for Jordan.
Jordan’s Motel Room
Harrison is lying on the bed with a peanut and butter sandwich pushed away from him.
Jordan asks Harrison what’s wrong… Doesn’t he like PB&J? Claire basically grew up on them! She says she knows he grew up privileged and had anything he wanted to eat, but she’s all out of caviar, so PB&J sandwiches are it. She picks up the sandwich and offers it to him.
Harrison silently turns away.
Jordan says he’s trying her patience, and it’s time to learn one of life’s most important lessons… Revenge never comes cheap!
The Abbott Mansion
Jack comes home, and Traci asks him if there is any news on Harrison. Jack says that they’re working on exploring all possible leads. They’re making progress, but it’s slow.
Traci says Harrison has three smart, powerful men who love him leading the search. Jordan may be clever, but she’s not going to win this time!
Jack asks how Ashley’s first therapy session went.
Traci says it didn’t go; the appointment never happened.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley (Belle) saunters into the lounge. She sits at the bar and, with a drawl, tells the bartender he can “make a girl happy with a shot of tequila.”… And don’t forget the teeny-weeny slice of lime and an itsy-bitsy bit of salt.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack doesn’t get it… He thought Ashley and Traci were headed to the doctor’s office for her first treatment!
Traci says they only got as far as the doctor’s waiting room. She says Ashley was anxious and jittery on the way there and expressed concern about the therapy. They had arrived at the doctor’s office, and her attitude changed. She was calm, took Traci’s hand, and told her, “Taking control of my well-being feels right.”
Jack asks if Ashley explained the shift in her attitude.
Traci says she never had a chance to ask her. Ashley said she had to use the ladies’ room. Traci went to go with her, but Ashley snapped at her and said she was hovering, so she let her go by herself and never came back.
Jack asks if that was the last she heard of her.
Traci says she got a text that Ashley had second thoughts about the session and had to leave, so she’d meet Traci back at the house. She raced home, but there’s no Ashley here, and she’s not getting any responses to her calls or texts.
Jack says Ashley had a change of behavior… Again. And a total disappearance. Again. Either Ashley is lying to them about wanting to get help, or something changed her mind!
Traci says she can’t keep up with Ashley’s mood changes and the changes in the way she talks. She’s wondering what it all means.
Jack says Ashley knows they’re desperate for her to get treatment, but she doesn’t want to face them and risk having them ask questions she doesn’t want to answer.
Traci doesn’t want Ashley to feel cornered, but the longer it takes her to get treatment, the longer it’ll take her to get well again.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley licks salt from her hand, drinks a shot of tequila, and sucks a lime wedge afterward. Her phone rings, and she looks at it with annoyance. She drawls that Jack Abbott will just have to wait; she’s got more important things to attend to!
Ashley smiles salaciously at the bartender. “Hit me again, handsome!”
Crimson Lights
Summer and Daniel sit and talk over coffee. Summer tells Daniel she couldn’t tell him before; she wasn’t ready.
Daniel says he gets it. He can’t understand how someone could be so twisted and evil as to kidnap Harrison and Claire.
Summer says everyone is trying to locate Harrison, but they’ve had no luck yet. She says Jack and Victor are even working together.
Daniel says they’ll find them, for sure. A massive team effort like that has to produce results!
Summer says she wouldn’t call it a “team.” Nobody trusts each other, and everyone has a different idea of the right strategy. She says Victor wants to take the lead and not involve the police.
Daniel says they can’t do that… Not when Summer’s kid is involved.
Summer knows. She says Chance is talking to his friends on the force and making sure everything’s done by the books so Jordan and Claire can’t get off on a technicality, but Jack and Victor are focused on getting Harrison home as soon as possible, no matter what it takes.
Daniel says that could be effective, given who Victor is.
Summer says Kyle won’t stop defending Claire because he was the one who let her into the house. He can’t believe she’s in on it with her aunt.
Daniel says that they’ll figure out who was involved later. The important thing right now is bringing Harrison home.
Summer says he’s not home yet, and every second that he’s gone… She breaks down crying.
Daniel tells her that she needs to stay strong, and when she gets Harrison home, she needs to hug him and never let go.
Jordan’s Motel Room
Jordan offers Harrison the sandwich. “Last chance, little guy.” She tells him to eat or kiss the sandwich goodbye; he’ll get nothing to eat!
Harrison knocks the paper plate out of her hand and tells her she’s a witch, and he wants to go home and wants his mom and dad!
Jordan says she already told him… His parents don’t want him or love him anymore.
Harrison says it’s a lie.
Jordan says it’s not a lie… They asked her to bring him here because they’re sick and tired of him. She suggests he be nice to his Aunt Jordan because she’s all he’s got now!
Harrison rolls away and hides his face.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack leaves Ashley a voicemail, asking her to call either himself or Traci. He says they love her and want her to come home. He disconnects and tells Traci that she’s avoiding them both.
Traci says they’re not the enemy; Ashley needs protecting against herself, not them!
Jack asks how they can make it happen… How can they get her the treatment she needs when they can’t trust her not to disappear? Maybe they have to force her into a program!
Traci can’t believe Jack is suggesting they commit their sister… Has it come to that?
Jordan’s Motel Room
As Harrison lies on the bed with his eyes closed, Jordan peers suspiciously out the window. A phone pings with a notification, and she rallies her strength, telling herself to “get on her game.”
She picks up the phone and dials her voicemail. It’s Nikki, telling her she’s waiting for her.
Crimson Lights
Daniel tells Summer she should be mad at him… He was a jerk about her not getting back to him.
Summer tells him not to worry about it, even though he was a jerk. She smiles for the first time in a while and says he had no way of knowing what was going on. Victor is keeping things on the DL for security’s sake, and she didn’t feel like she could call Daniel and dump everything on him when she was freaking out, but today, she needed her brother.
Daniel says he’s there for her. He asks if their mom knows about Harrison yet.
Summer says she does.
Daniel says he can run interference with Phyllis to prevent her from trying to take charge and making things worse.
Summer says that, believe it or not, their mom has been “pretty good.”
Daniel’s having a hard time believing it.
Summer says Phyllis wanted to go find them, but she’s holding back and being supportive, along with her dad, Nick. She knows that Phyllis always fights on their behalf, but their mom has been there for her, and Summer needed it.
Daniel says their mom is always saying she’s changed… Maybe they ought to start believing her.
Summer gives him a look and shrugs.
Daniel asks what he can do to help.
Summer laughs and says he’ll regret offering… She’s a mess right now; she’s pacing around, checking her phone, lashing out at people, and crying. She just needs his company right now.
Daniel says he already told her… He’s not going anywhere.
That means a lot to Summer.
Daniel asks if Summer’s tried saying a prayer.
Summer is astonished. Does Daniel pray?
Daniel says he doesn’t, but people swear by the power of prayer. It can’t hurt.
Summer thinks it’s worth a shot.
A Back Alley
Nikki hears something move in the back alley. She yells out that it’s not a trap… She came by herself; it’s one-on-one… The way it should be!
Nikki paces around, taunting Jordan, asking if she’s scared to face her. Is she a coward like her sister? She curses, yelling for Jordan to show her face.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack tells Traci he doesn’t want to force anything on Ashley.
Traci says a part of Ashley wants to get help.
Jack doesn’t think it’s enough. How many conversations about treatment are they going to have? How many false starts will Ashley make? He says if they can’t get her to a doctor, they don’t have any other choice.
Traci says they just need to reach that part of Ashley who wants help.
Jack says the “strong” part of her wants to avoid therapy altogether, and they don’t even know where she is; she could be in another motel room, having no idea how she got there, or at the airport, ready to board a plane to who-knows-where!
Traci says it terrifies her, too. She says Ashley was “fragile” the other night, and acknowledged that she has a problem. She says Ashley wanted more than anything to get to the bottom of it and get her life back under control.
Jack says they want that, too, but they might have to force the issue to make it happen.
Traci says doing that will alienate Ashley and make her defensive, and they’ll never get her back; there has to be another way!
Jack says he’s open to any alternatives. What does Traci suggest?
Traci thinks for a minute. She suggests that Ashley might not be afraid of therapy, but might be having a hard time sitting down with a stranger and telling them everything from the beginning. She says Ashley might not want to talk about her relationship with Tucker and her confusion over what happened in Paris, not to mention her blackouts. She must be overwhelmed right now!
Jack says all of that might be true, but what can they do?
Traci says maybe they can get her into therapy with someone who makes her feel comfortable and safe. She wonders about Ashley’s psychologist friend in Paris.
Jack says that might work; her friend already knows part of her story.
Traci nods. They’ll try to find him, and maybe they can persuade him to come to Genoa City. That would give Ashley a choice and a chance to sit down with a familiar face before they have to resort to extreme measures.
Jack thinks it could work, but first, they have to find Ashley and get her home!

The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley tells the bartender he’s probably too shy to ask, but she is single. She says he’s probably wondering what perfume she’s wearing; it’s called Femme Magique, and she created it herself!
The bartender smiles as she regales him with her tales.
Ashley says she won’t get into the details of the complex chemistry used to make the perfume. She says there’s another patron for him to take care of, and she has to “talk to a man about a song!” She gets up, walks over to the piano player, and asks him if he takes requests.
Jordan’s Motel Room
Jordan sits thinking after hearing Nikki’s voicemail. She wonders how Nikki would expect her to take the invitation when it’s such an obvious trap… She glances over at Harrison and thinks that she’s the one with leverage; Nikki would never risk his life!
Jordan laughs to herself and thinks it’d be glorious to have Nikki as her hostage instead of the unbearable child she’s stuck with now. She could have so much fun forcing Nikki to get drunk and pathetic and moan about Victor… Victor, the genius who chose an alcoholic stripper over her sister, Eve!
Jordan glances over at Harrison and thinks she’s still got time to meet with Nikki. She tells Harrison to keep his mouth shut. She’ll be right outside and will hear everything he does. She tells him not to call for help because nobody wants him and nobody will come for him. She leaves the motel room.
The Abbott Mansion
Traci tells Jack they have a plan; he’ll stay at the house in case Ashley shows up, and Traci will look for Ashley at her usual haunts… Maybe Kyle will show up at the house with good news about Harrison!
Jack tears up.
Traci says she’s sorry; she can see it is pushing Jack to the edge of his emotional limits.
Jack says not to worry about him… This is family, and nothing is too much.
Traci laughs and says he reminded her of their father just then.
Jack smiles and says that’s the nicest compliment she could give him. He asks if she ever says anything she doesn’t mean.
Traci says Jack’s not the only one who takes after their father.
They hug, and Traci prepares to leave.
Jack says he’ll try to find the doctor in France while she’s gone.
Traci vetoes that. Jack will deal with the Harrison crisis, and Traci will deal with the Ashley crisis and that includes finding the therapist; she’s a researcher and promises to find him. She leaves the house.
A Back Alley
Nikki’s phone buzzes with a notification. It’s Victor. “There’s news about Jordan. Come home immediately.”
Nikki starts to respond. “I’m in the middle of something,” but she deletes the message before she sends it. She calls out, “It’s now or never, Jordan!”
The Abbott Mansion
Jack peers out the door when his phone rings. It’s Kyle, and he answers.
Kyle tells Jack he lucked out with the diner owner… He slipped him a few bills, and the owner let him see the security footage. He says Jordan was in disguise, but it was her, and she arrived right when the truck driver said she did.
Jack asks if there’s anything that might lead them to Jordan.
Kyle says they had a clear shot of the car she drove and parked in the lot. They couldn’t make out the license plate, but they have the make and model. If they can find that same car parked in the neighborhood, they might find where Harrison is being kept!
Jack says they’re one step closer to finding Harrison now.
Kyle hopes he’s right.
The Genoa City Athletic Club (GCAC)
Traci walks into the club and looks around for Ashley but doesn’t see her. Defeated, she turns to leave.
Danny walks into the club, and they hug, surprised to see each other. He says it’s his last day in town, and he’d love to buy her tea or a drink before he leaves.
Traci says she’d love to, but… She stammers.
Danny asks if she’s okay… She seems frazzled, and he has a shoulder for her to lean on!
Traci says he’s an amazing friend, and she’d love to stay, but he has to promise only to talk about happy things, and it won’t be a long visit.
Danny says it’s a deal. He takes her arm and leads her into the dining room.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley is dancing around as she listens to the pianist playing her request. She slides onto the seat beside him and asks what he has for her next.
The pianist asks what she’d like.
Ashley says that brings up a lot of possibilities. Whatever he chooses, she’ll love it!
The pianist starts playing. “Is this okay?”
Ashley nods. She says he’s been blessed with brilliant hands. She says it feels good to cut loose and enjoy herself… She’s been in a prison; three hots and a cot! She says she’s never allowed out to play, even though she’s the one who’s looking for the pleasant solution, not the messy one! She says she loves having the free will to do whatever a person wants.
The piano player keeps playing, saying that’s what it’s all about.
Ashley says that’s the thing… She doesn’t get to do what she wants; everyone seems to have a vote in what she does and says… There’s no fun in that! She’s the last woman who needs anyone’s pity. She says it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t remember everything… It probably just means that it’s not worth remembering, or maybe it’s the tequila. She tells the pianist that she’s having more fun because of him than she’s had in ages. She ruffles his hair as he plays.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle tells his dad he’s given the car’s description to Victor’s men, who will comb the area, and he will, too.
Jack tells him to call the authorities if he finds the car… Don’t try to handle it on his own!
Kyle says he understands. He’ll keep him posted. He ends the call.
A Back Alley
Jordan steps out of a door into the alleyway. She calls out for Nikki, asking where she is.
There’s no response.
Jordan yells that Nikki shouldn’t play games with her.
The GCAC Dining Room
Traci is surprised that Danny’s been in a tug-of-war between Phyllis and Christine… And yet, this is the first she’s heard about it! She laughs.
Danny grins and says it wasn’t funny at the time. He sees a look flicker over Traci’s face and asks what she’s trying hard not to talk about.
Traci says her family is going through some rough patches that she doesn’t want to discuss. She asks if he’s seen Ashley.
Danny says he hasn’t… Why?
Traci says she hasn’t been able to get in touch with her for a couple of hours, and she’s been looking all over Genoa City for her, and that’s why she’s at the club… She’s been looking for Ashley.
Danny says they should go find her sister together.
Traci says she needs to be alone when she finds her. She thanks him and hopes he has the “most amazing time” on tour.
Danny says he will, as long as she promises to keep in touch with him and let him know how this goes.
Traci promises she will.
Danny says he loves her and always will. He gives her a big hug.
Traci laughs and says she loves him, too. She thanks him and leaves the dining room.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Ashley dances around and plants a kiss on the piano player’s head.
Traci hears the music and walks down the stairs. She’s shocked to see Ashley dancing around.
Crimson Lights
Daniel brings Summer a muffin and a croissant. He’s sure she hasn’t been eating, and tells her to do him a favor and eat the muffin.
Summer asks if he’ll nag her if she doesn’t.
Daniel says he won’t… But he’ll stare at her like this.
Summer says he’s the worst, but she starts eating. Her phone pings, and she looks at the notification. She gets up and says she has to go.
Daniel asks what’s happening.
Summer says she’ll call him later. She runs out the door.
Jordan’s Motel Room
Harrison lies in bed, playing with his brass good luck charm.
Kyle walks up to the motel door and rattles the knob. He calls out Harrison’s name.
Harrison calls out, “Daddy?”
Kyle tells him to stay away from the door; he’s kicking it in! Harrison covers his head, and Kyle kicks the door open.
Harrison runs into his father’s arms.
A Back Alley
Jordan calls out for Nikki.
Victor steps out from behind Jordan and holds a handkerchief over her mouth and nose. “Guess again.”
