Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Nikki went on a bender while Victor worried Claire’s time is running out just as Victoria found a clue.
The Abbott Mansion
Traci welcomes Alan into the house. He’s Ashley’s psychologist friend from France.
Alan says he slept on the plane and thanks Traci for the first-class ticket.
Traci thanks him for coming all the way from Paris to talk to her sister.
Alan says he’s always glad to see Ashley and confesses he was worried about her after their last visit in Paris.
Traci asks if he sensed something might be wrong.
Alan says at first, he chalked it up to Ashley’s marriage breaking down, but later he began to worry that other issues were brewing.
Traci says they’re not just brewing; they’re at full boil.
Crimson Lights
Diane walks into the coffee shop and sees Ashley (Belle). She asks if she’s treating herself to a coffee.
Ashley says that she loves Mrs. Martinez, but her coffee can be a bit weak.
Diane says she never thought so. She’s there to pick up some brownies for Harrison; they’re his favorite.
Ashley says Diane doesn’t need to explain herself.
Diane asks how she’s feeling.
Ashley says she’s fine… How’s Diane feeling?
Diane says she’s good. She mentions that Ashley’s had some ups and downs lately; it’s been quite the rollercoaster, and Jack and Traci have been feeling it, too.
Ashley says if she didn’t know better, she’d believe Diane’s butter-melting-in-the-mouth routine.
Diane says she’s not pretending to be concerned.
Ashley says it’s a compliment; kill ’em with kindness has always been her motto, too!
The Newman Ranch House
Michael finishes talking on the phone. He tells Victor that there’s no sign of Jordan’s body; they’ve searched the area where Victor said she fell over the bridge.
Victor says they should stop looking for a dead woman… Jordan is gone, and she’s of no use to them anymore!
Michael says they have nothing to go on; Jordan’s body could have a clue in a pocket, or she could have had a number in her phone.
Victor says Michael should be looking for Claire instead; she might be fighting for her life as they speak!
Jordan’s Motel Room / Newman Ranch
Cole and Victoria are in a motel room, and Cole asks Victoria how she knows where the keys are from.
Victoria says she knows the keys’ colors. Billy had a set just like it, and Katie used to play with them all the time.
Cole asks if she thinks they’re Billy’s keys.
Victoria shakes her head. She says they’re probably from the same place, though; Billy had a storage unit there. She wonders if it’s possible that it’s where Jordan is holding Claire.
At the Newman house, Michael tells Victor that he’ll pull the team off the search for Jordan’s body and will have them focus only on finding Claire. They’ll canvass the neighborhoods and go door-to-door.
Victor nods and tells him to get to it. Michael gets up to leave, but Victor’s phone rings; it’s Cole.
Cole tells Victor that they found some keys hidden in a doll, like the type his mother used to collect, and Victoria thinks they might open a storage unit in the facility that Billy used to use. He says Victoria is finding the address to the facility now.
Victor asks if Cole thinks that’s where Jordan might be holding Claire hostage.
Cole hopes so. If not, maybe they’ll find a clue.
Victoria calls Billy and has him text her the address of the storage facility. She gets the address a moment later.
Cole tells Victor they’re headed to the storage unit now.
Victor tells him to be careful; he’ll send backup with them. They end the call, and Victor tells Michael that Cole and Victoria have found a set of keys to a storage unit, and maybe Jordan is holding Claire there. He explains they found the key in a doll similar to the one that Jordan had at the lake house.
Michael nods. He hopes the key isn’t a misdirection or even worse, a trap.
Victor tells him to wait there. He’ll find out. He leaves the room, and Michael calls after him, asking where he’s going.
The Abbott Mansion
Traci tells Alan she was worried about Ashley in Paris. She asks if Ashley told him about the argument that she and Tucker had at the cafe that led to their breakup.
Alan nods. He says Ashley told him that Tucker “exploded” on her, and then she thought the staff was paid off to back up his version of the story.
Traci says it turned out to be wrong, and Ashley had to accept that she misremembered the whole argument and that she exaggerated his anger and violence.
Alan says when Ashley realized that her recollection of the argument didn’t match reality, she was very upset.
Traci says she hoped that Ashley would be able to get on with her life when she got home and accepted that things were over with Tucker, and she had misremembered, but that’s when things got worrisome.
Alan asks what happened to worry her.
Traci says Ashley has been having personality shifts. She gives a few examples, saying Ashley could be really confident one moment and act like a child the next. Traci says that they got another personality last night, who was enjoying tequila shots and “living it up,” but the most troubling is when it’s “their” Ashley; she’s fragile, and she confided in Traci that she’s having blackouts.
Alan asks if the blackouts are from alcohol.
Traci says Ashley had insistent she hadn’t been drinking when she had her blackouts.
Alan asks what else Ashley said about the blackouts.
Traci says Ashley told her they were missing chunks of time; she’d wake up somewhere and not knew where she was or how she got there. She says the family is worried.
Alan thinks that’s understandable.
Traci says Billy suggested that Ashley might be suffering from a “splintering” of her personality that was triggered by the trauma of what happened with Tucker.
Alan says that’s a serious diagnosis; is Billy a psychiatrist?
Traci says he’s not, but he’d experienced something similar and recognized the signs. She says they’ve tried to get Ashley to see a doctor, and she agreed to it, but at the last minute, she changed her mind.
Alan is glad Traci reached out to him; he’s known Ashley a long time, and she’d confided in him that she has a history of psychosis… Maybe it was triggered somehow and brought to a new level.
Crimson Lights
Diane hopes Ashley doesn’t feel like she has to kill her with kindness.
Ashley gives Diane a saccharine smile and says she’s never felt to be anyone but herself with her.
Diane says that’s good; maybe Ashley will be straight with her and tell her how she’s really feeling.
Ashley says she’s tired of the questions, concerns, and sad looks from Jack and Traci.
Diane says they care about Ashley.
Ashley shrugs. It’s suffocating. Makes her want to go elsewhere for her coffee!
Diane says she can’t blame them; Ashley had said she didn’t know what was happening with her and seemed lost, frightened, and desperate for answers, yet she ran from the doctor’s appointment that Traci and Sharon had worked hard to make for her. She asks why she didn’t attend the appointment; is she afraid of what the doctor might discover?
Victor’s Wine Cellar
Victor taps the bars to Jordan’s cage. He asks how her night went.
Jordan says the accommodations stink and the food is worse.
Victor smiles broadly. That’s the review he was aspiring to! He takes a seat in a leather-covered armchair and asks Jordan where his granddaughter is… Where’s Claire?
Jordan says she’ll give Victor Claire’s location if he gives her the same deal they talked about before; she wants the chateau in France and an offshore bank account.
Victor says Jordan’s being delusional. There will be no deal, because they already know where Claire is; they found the keys to the storage unit because Jordan was sloppy.
Jordan says she doesn’t know what Victor is talking about.
Victor says she knows exactly what he’s talking about.
The Abbott Mansion
Traci tells Alan she hoped he could talk to Ashley and convince her to get treatment.
Alan says he’d be happy to find out what’s going on with Ashley, but he can’t treat her; he’s retired, and his American license expired ten years ago.
Traci says she understands he can’t be Ashley’s doctor but hopes he can help her past whatever is stopping her from getting help.
Alan says he’ll do his best; he cares greatly about Ashley.
Traci thanks him. The family appreciates his help, and she wants her sister back! She told Ashley that she’d reached out to Alan and was worried that Ashley would think she’d overstepped, but Ashley seemed okay with the idea. She thinks Ashley prefers talking to Alan over someone she’s never met before, but she’s worried that Ashley’s mood could change at the drop of a hat.
Crimson Lights
Ashley wonders if Diane has better things to do than to harp on Ashley about decisions she’s made for her own well-being.
Diane says she’s not harping… She’s just asking!
Ashley asks why Diane is fetching brownies for her grandson… After all, Diane is the co-CEO of Jabot Cosmetics! Ashley reminds Diane that she never thanked her for letting her “slide on in” to the co-CEO role. She asks if Diane’s looking to get out; she could help her get fired if that’s what she wants!
Diane says she’s trying to be nice. Ashley may not want her help, but she can’t butt out completely; she cares about Jack, and Jack cares about Ashley, so that makes Ashley Diane’s concern as well.
Victor’s Wine Cellar
Jordan tells Victor she wouldn’t be stupid enough to leave a set of keys lying around… He’d better make a deal with her right now if he ever wants to see his granddaughter again.
Victor says she should have taken his deal. She’d be lounging in a chateau in the south of France, but instead, she’s going to die slowly in this “luxurious place.”
Jordan says he’s wrong; he still needs her.
Victor says he has her, and nobody knows where she is. This time, there’s no way out. He leaves.
Jordan yells that he won’t find Claire; he’ll be back, begging for her help.
The Storage Facility
Victoria and Cole find storage unit #23.
Cole checks for a tripwire or any traps that might have been placed, but finds nothing.
Victoria says she’s scared of what they might find.
Cole tells her to step back. He opens the door to the unit, and they both call into the darkness.
Claire’s weak voice calls out from the darkness, asking for help.
Victoria pulls out her flashlight and shines it into the storage unit. Claire is in the back of the unit on a bed.
Crimson Lights
Ashley tells Diane that when she doesn’t behave the way they want her to, everyone gets their shorts in a twist. She says she’s not an ice queen; she’s a red-blooded woman who had her heart broken, and that doesn’t mean she needs professional help.
Diane says Ashley asked for help the other night… She was there!
Ashley says she realized it was just heartbreak. She’s gotten through it before, and she’ll get through it this time, too.
Diane says that doesn’t mean she doesn’t need professional help to get through it this time.
Ashley says she’ll find her balance if it’ll get Diane off her back. She’ll try very hard not to be “too extra.” She says everyone else can live their messy lives without intervention, and she intends to do the same. She’s going to have some fun, so Diane can either join the party or get out of her way! Ashley’s phone rings, and she answers. “Tell me something good.”
It’s Traci calling. She tells Ashley that Alan has arrived from Paris and he’s eager to see her.
Ashley says that’s the best news she’s had in ages; she can’t wait to see him! She ends the call and tells Diane she has to run… There’s finally someone in town she can have fun with! She gets up and thanks Diane for her concern, if it’s sincere.
Diane asks why she wouldn’t be sincere.
Ashley says because she’s Diane. She leaves the coffee shop.
The Newman Ranch House / The Storage Facility
Victor walks back into the living room.
Michael asks where he went and why he didn’t bring Michael with him.
Victor tells Michael that he went to talk to his security team… Does he need his lawyer by his side in order to talk to them? He says Michael needs to stop asking so many questions, and that he’s found out that Jordan used the same alias to rent the storage unit as she used to rent the motel room.
Michael asks if Victor thinks that Cole and Victoria are correct in thinking that Claire is being held at the storage unit.
Victor’s certain of it. He knows how Jordan’s mind works.
Michael says they need to get a security team to the storage unit; Cole and Victoria shouldn’t face it by themselves.
Victor says Cole and Victoria are already on their way to the storage unit, and hopefully they’ll get there in time to rescue Claire.
At the storage facility, Cole and Victoria rush into the storage unit.
Claire is crying and asks them to get “her” off of her. There’s a body that’s been thrown on top of her, and Victoria and Cole pull the woman’s body off of Claire and lead her out of the unit.
Cole and Victoria hug a crying Claire tightly, reassuring her that she’s safe.
Victor leaves a voicemail for Nikki, asking her to call him back. He complains to Michael that it’s the third message he’s left for her, but she hasn’t called him back. His phone rings, and he answers.
Victoria tells Victor that they’ve found Claire. She says she’s alive but shaken up.
Victor says he’s very happy to hear that. He asks if the police or the security team has arrived yet.
Victoria says they haven’t yet, but Cole will talk to them… She needs to get Claire some food. She doesn’t think Claire is up to answering any questions right now, even if the police want her to.
Victor tells her that Cole can talk to the police. He tells her to bring Claire home as soon as she can and ends the call.
Michael laughs happily, having overheard Victor’s side of things.
The Abbott Mansion
Ashley enters the house. Ashley squeals in delight and runs up to Alan and gives him a hug, telling him she’s happy to see him. She says everyone is keeping her on a short leash lately.
Diane walks in, and Ashley asks if she followed her. Diane says she told Ashley she was picking up brownies for Harrison; if she’d known Ashley was heading home, she would have had her deliver them. She introduces herself to Alan.
Alan introduces himself as “Alan Laurent.”
Diane asks if he and Ashley are old friends.
Ashley stops her. She says Alan flew all the way from Paris to see her. She says she’s going to take Alan out to lunch.
Alan says he’s famished. They leave.
Diane asks Traci who Alan is.
Traci says Alan is Ashley’s psychologist friend from Paris.
Diane says she had a run-in with Ashley at Crimson Lights. It wasn’t a confrontation, but she thinks she met one of Ashley’s “alters.” She was feisty but was fun.
Traci asks if she’s joking about meeting an “alter.” She thought Diane was trying to help!
Diane says she is trying to help. She’s been nothing but supportive and has taken her fair share of hits from Ashley even before her personality swings!
Traci says Diane is joking about a serious situation; it’s almost like Diane enjoys seeing Ashley like this!
Diane sighs. She asks why Traci is trying to punish her by assuming the worst… Does she really need to prove that she’s being sincere?
Traci says she does have to prove she’s sincere.
The Tack House at Newman Ranch
Victoria, Cole, and Claire enter the house. Victoria offers to make Claire some tea and tells her she can go upstairs and have a shower.
Victor walks in and is delighted to see Claire. He calls her over, and they hug tightly. He asks her to tell them what happened to her.
Victoria says Claire is shaken up; she hasn’t said very much.
Cole figures they should let her rest first.
Claire says it’s okay… Now that she’s home and safe with them, she can talk about it.
They all sit down in the living room.
Claire explains that she was bringing back Harrison’s lost good luck bunny to him after Victor and Nikki’s anniversary party. Jordan must have followed her and gotten into the Abbott house. She says she was upstairs reading Harrison a story and he went to the bathroom; Jordan appeared out of nowhere and chloroformed her.
Victoria says it must have been terrifying.
Claire says the next thing she remembers is being dragged into the storage unit. She knew that would be her only chance to escape, so she fought back and almost got away, but then the woman she was fighting with collapsed on top of her. Claire thinks the woman had a heart attack from the exertion. She was trapped under the woman’s dead weight and thought she was going to die there.
Cole is horrified.
Society
Alan and Ashley have a seat in the restaurant and glance at the menus.
Abby walks up to their table and says hello to her mom and compliments her outfit.
Ashley smiles and introduces Abby to Alan, her friend from Paris. She explains that Abby owns this “fine establishment.”
Abby tells them she won’t take any more of their time; she’ll send over Ashley’s favorites. She smiles and leaves the table.
Ashley asks Alan how Paris is doing without her.
Alan says the city of lights is a bit dimmer, but he’s managing to get through retirement. He’s been working on odd projects and reading books. He asks how Ashley has been doing; the last time they spoke, she was upset about her breakup with Tucker.
Ashley says she’s put that behind her; can’t he tell she’s a new woman?
Alan says she seems happier, but he’s known her a long time… She doesn’t have to pretend with him!
Abby walks up with a bottle of champagne and pours them both a glass.
They take a drink, and Alan compliments her on the champagne… It’s good!
Ashley says she’s never met a glass of bubbles she didn’t like.
Abby thinks that’s great… It’s on the house!
Alan asks if she’d like to join them.
Abby says she’s covering for her manager (Tessa) and will have to take a rain check. She leaves their table.
Ashley asks what they were talking about.
Alan says that Ashley was telling him how she was doing.
Ashley says she was actually trying to evade the question. They both know that Traci and Jack flew him there to analyze her and probe her deepest innermost thoughts… Is that what he wants to do?
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Michael approaches Lauren and kisses her fondly. He sits down and thanks her for ordering a drink for him. To Lauren’s surprise, he takes a long gulp of his booze and says there’s finally good news… They’ve found Claire.
Traci is thankful. She says Nikki will be relieved to hear that Jordan is dead and Claire has been found. This nightmare can finally be over! She says Michael must be relieved as well.
Michael says he’ll be happy when they find out from the LAPD that Sheila is actually dead.
Lauren asks if that’s why he’s so unsettled. Is he hoping that it really was Sheila in the morgue?
Michael says he is hoping that, but he’s bothered that Victor is keeping something from him.
Lauren laughs and says that’s how Victor operates… He always keeps some little detail to himself.
Michael doesn’t think it’s a little detail this time. He thinks Victor is hiding something about Jordan’s death from him.
Lauren says he’d told her that Jordan had fallen from a height that nobody could have survived.
Michael says that’s what Victor told him, but he hasn’t been able to confirm it. He’s known Victor a long time, and he has a feeling that Victor was lying.
The Tack House
Claire recounts how she didn’t want to think about dying in the storage unit, so she imagined she was free and at home with her mom. She got angry thinking about Jordan and everything she’d done to her and to all of them, and the anger gave her the strength to maneuver the woman’s body to get the phone out of her pocket so she could call them, but the phone died, and she had to fight the panic all over again.
Victoria says her call was garbled, and she couldn’t hear what Claire was saying to them. She only heard the word “mom.”
Cole says Victoria knew it was Claire on the phone, and Victoria insisted they go to the room where Harrison was found. Even though the police had searched it, Victoria knew there had to be a clue there.
Claire is shocked. A motel? Jordan took Harrison? She asks if he’s okay.
Victoria reassures her that Harrison is safe.
Claire asks how they found her.
Victoria tells her about finding the key in the Victorian doll and how she knew what the keys from the storage unit looked like, which led them there.
Claire asks if she can see Harrison.
Victoria promises Harrison is safe, but she doesn’t think Kyle or Summer will let Harrison out of their sight anytime soon.
Claire cries and says that Harrison must be traumatized and scared from the ordeal. She asks where Jordan is; did they arrest her? They can’t let her hurt Harrison ever again!
Victor says, “The bitch is dead.”
Society
Ashley tells Alan that even though none of her siblings has a medical degree, they’ve all decided that something is wrong with her, and that’s why Alan is here; they want him to figure out what’s going on with her.
Alan says he knows why her family bought him a first-class ticket to Genoa City, and he thinks she knows, too.
Ashley asks if he’s only there in a professional capacity.
Alan says he’s retired and doesn’t have a license to practice, and he’d never treat a friend.
Ashley leans forward flirtily and says they are good friends.
Alan says they are. He says her last trip to Paris was brief, and he wanted to see the place she called home, but if she’s not comfortable with him being her, he has an open ticket and can return to Paris at any time.
Ashley says she wants him there, and she’s happy to show him around town, but she wants to let him in on a secret… The rumors about her mental breakdown were highly exaggerated!
Alan says he’s happy to hear that. They clink their glasses in a toast.
Ashley (Belle) eyes Alan up and down and thinks to herself, “Sweetie, you’re the answer to my prayers.” She thinks it’s time to bring a little joy into her life.
The GCAC Dining Room
Lauren tells Michael that if Sheila is still lurking around, she’d better not come near Lauren, or she’ll be sorry.
Michael laughs.
Lauren says she’s been busy at work, and Nikki decided not to come into the office today, which is understandable given what’s been going on. She says Nikki was confident that Michael and Victor would find Claire, but waiting for news was worrying her sick.
Michael asks where Nikki went since she didn’t come into the office.
Lauren says Nikki went home hours ago.
Michael says he was at the ranch with Victor all morning, and she wasn’t there; Victor was trying to reach her.
Lauren picks up her phone and calls Nikki. She leaves a voicemail for Nikki to call her.
Michael says Victor was getting Nikki’s voicemail, too.
Lauren calls Jack and leaves him a voicemail asking if he’s seen Nikki and to call her when he can.
The Tack House
Claire takes Victor’s news about her aunt’s death remarkably well. She says Jordan kidnapping an innocent child proves she was beyond redemption. She’s glad Jordan is dead… For the sake of everyone she hurt and had to live in fear of her. She asks Victor if it’s true… Is she finally free of Jordan?
Victor promises Jordan will never hurt anyone again.
Cole and Victoria hug Claire tightly.
Victor’s Wine Cellar
Jordan paces around her cell, yelling that Victor won’t win; she screams that she’ll find a way out of this hell hole, and she’ll make him pay!

Well I hope Jordan dies.Now it’s time for Ashley to go, bring Johnny and Katie and Lillys kids back they need new and younger people.
