Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Ashley & Tucker planned their future, Faith revealed she met Cameron, and Nick was torn between Sally and protecting Sharon.
The Genoa City Athletic Club
Jack tells Diane that the new vinyl record he picked up is pretty rare and thanks Diane for suggesting Mo’s, his favorite record store.
Jack says that he’s sorry that Tucker and Ashley spoiled a bit of their day.
Diane can’t wait to order the drinks so that she can talk with other people.
She says she has her life back and plans on soaking up every minute with Jack.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer gets a text message from Phyllis asking Summer to bring Daniel to see her.
Kyle walks in and prepares some champagne for when Jack and Diane get home.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room at the GCAC
Phyllis keeps messaging Summer asking her to respond.
Society
Daniel talks on the phone with Lucy and tells her to text him when she lands.
After he finishes his call, his phone pings. He looks at the text message that’s come in and wonders what it is.
Crimson Lights
Sharon cleans up the cafe and remembers telling Nikki about Cameron over twenty years ago.
Nikki told her that Nick would have supported her if she told him about it.
Nick comes in and interrupts Sharon’s reverie. She nearly jumps out of her skin.
He says that he’s there to drive her home.
Sharon says he doesn’t have to drive her home, but Nick won’t have any of it.
Nick says that with a monster like Cameron on the loose, she has to come with him.
Cameron’s Hotel Room at the GCAC
Cameron looks in the mirror as he dresses, saying, “Not bad. Not bad at all.”
The GCAC
Diane brings a martini for Jack and tells him that he has an odd number of olives for luck.
She forgot her own drink at the bar, and Jack asks her why she’s so absentminded.
Diane laughs and says she was just thinking back to when Kyle misplaced his phone the night that Phyllis was “killed, ” which started a whole mess.
Jack says that the stress will drop off with Phyllis alive and Diane’s charges dropped.
He says that their evening is a celebration of Diane.
Diane goes to the bar to get her drink.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer looks at her phone guiltily when Kyle comes into the room. She offers to help him with the champagne.
Kyle talks about Harrison and tells Summer it must be hard celebrating this homecoming with her mother missing.
Summer says she has to go out.
Kyle asks what she’s going out for again.
Summer says she has to go talk with Daniel and resolve some issues. She apologizes for shutting Kyle out, and says she believes he’s on her side, even if she doesn’t deserve it.
Kyle says he loves her and is always on her side. He says he’ll be home waiting for her when she gets back unless she wants him to come with her.
Summer says he should wait there and celebrate with his family. She kisses him and leaves.
Crimson Lights
Nick locks the cafe door and helps Sharon put the chairs up on the tables.
Sharon asks Nick how things went with Sally.
Nick says that Sally is at risk for pre-eclampsia.
Sharon says that’s dangerous and Nick should go take care of Sally.
Nick says that Sally can wait and that he will drive Sharon home first.
Sharon says that she should have told Faith about Cameron.
The GCAC
Diane gets her drink from the bar, and Cameron, sitting there alone, says that she shouldn’t leave her drink unattended because some “creep” could put something in her drink.
Diane says she often comes there with “her husband” and knows everyone at the bar.
Cameron asks if she knows him.
Diane looks uncomfortable and says she’s going back to her husband.
She does a double-take, gives the drink back to the bartender, and asks him to mix another one.
Cameron says that’s a wise move. He leaves the restaurant.
Jack asks if Diane thinks that “this guy” touched her drink. He looks around, but Cameron’s left already.
Diane says she’s not sure, but she wanted to be on the safe side.
Victor and Nikki walk up to their table.
Victor asks Diane how she did it.
Nikki chimes in, saying, “Yeah, how’d you get Michael to get the charges dropped?”
Summer comes into the club. Diane sees Summer enter and wonders why she’s there.
Victor looks around and waves Summer over to talk.
Society
Daniel looks at his phone and wonders aloud if the message came from Phyllis. He thinks about Summer telling him that she’d handle Phyllis by herself.
Daniel leaves the restaurant.
Crimson Lights
Nick says that the thought of Cameron being near Faith or Sharon bothers him. He says he’d throw Cameron out of a plane again if needed.
Sharon says that she thinks about that night a lot and explains how scared she was of Nick finding out what Cameron had done to her.
Nick says that he wanted to break Cameron in half when he learned what he’d done to her, but he’ll let the police handle it this time. He asks if Sharon’s heard from Chance yet.
Sharon says she hasn’t heard from him.
The GCAC
Diane asks Summer who she’s there to see.
Summer says she’s going to meet Daniel.
Nikki says that the police have obviously made a mistake and Diane will be back in an ankle monitor soon.
She asks Summer, “What’s that look about?”
Summer says that Phyllis is alive.
Nikki is shocked, and Victor asks where Phyllis is.
Summer says she doesn’t know and that Phyllis is on the run. She explains that Phyllis killed Stark in self-defense and is scared of the charges she’s facing.
Victor says that Phyllis has to face the music and face the consequences of her actions.
Summer says she has to go and meet with Daniel.
She heads upstairs.
Victor says that it’s “stunning” that Phyllis is alive and wonders why she would do this to her children.
Nikki pointedly says that Diane did the same thing, and she pushed Phyllis to the edge.
Diane says it’s ironic that Phyllis tried to frame her for murder but ended up killing someone herself.
Jack and Diane leave.

Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Summer goes to Phyllis’s room, and Phyllis invites her in.
Summer tells Phyllis that Phyllis can’t see Daniel because he’d go straight to the police.
Phyllis says, “About that.”
There’s a knock at the door. It’s Daniel, who calls out.
Summer asks how things could get any worse.
Daniel knocks again.
Summer opens the door.
Daniel asks what Summer is doing there and asks what’s going on.
Phyllis pulls the door open and says hello to Daniel.
Crimson Lights
Nick says he declares the cafe a “Cameron-free” zone.
Nick asks what he can do to help her close the cafe for the night, and Sharon tells him to refill the sugar dispensers. She tells him to get the sugar from the back room, and she’ll collect the dispensers.
Sharon goes to the patio to collect the sugar containers as Nick goes into the storage room.
She doesn’t notice that Cameron is watching her through the patio doors. He opens the door and steps inside.
Sharon hears a noise and turns around to see Cameron watching her.
Sharon drops the sugar container as she looks at Cameron in terror.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Jack holds Diane’s arm as they walk down the stairs to the Jazz Lounge.
Jack says this is where Diane’s future changed in an instant.
Diane says she was the happiest that she’d ever been that night until Jeremy bumped into Jack, and Phyllis collapsed.
Jack says Diane has faced her past and offers to take her home.
Diane asks him to dance with her, and they move to the dance floor.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Daniel is stunned and happy to see Phyllis. They hug.
Phyllis tells Summer that she was right to do this, that this is good.
Summer asks what planet Phyllis is from if she considers this situation “good.”
Daniel accuses Phyllis of making a choice to hurt him and Summer.
Phyllis says she made a mistake, and the memorial service made her understand how much Daniel and Summer really cared for her.
Daniel says that he painted the portrait of her from memory. He’s hurt by her betrayal.
Phyllis says she loved the portrait and that she couldn’t throw it away.
Summer says that Phyllis did throw it away and that Chance found it in the garbage, and that’s the evidence that’s made Phyllis the subject of a manhunt.
Crimson Lights
Cameron tells Sharon that he’s been following her.
Sharon is scared out of her mind and tells Cameron that the cafe is closed and he’s not welcome.
Cameron says he’s been waiting a long time for this moment.
Sharon says if he wants to talk, they can talk at the police station.
Cameron gets closer to her and says he misses her voice and hasn’t forgotten a single thing about her. He says he tried to forget her, but it was impossible.
Sharon asks why he’s there.
The GCAC
Nikki tells Victor that she’s mad at Phyllis, but Diane takes the cake.
She says that once Diane is married, she’ll use Jack’s name to begin a reign of terror.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Jack and Diane dance closely on the dance floor.
Diane looks at her ring, and Jack asks if she’s ok. She says she’s fine.
Phyllis’s Hotel Suite
Phyllis can’t believe that Diane got out of the charges.
Daniel says that Diane wasn’t guilty, and Phyllis created a huge mess by doing what she did.
Summer tells Daniel they have to keep it under wraps and can’t tell anyone where Phyllis is.
Daniel asks about Kyle… They have to tell him.
Summer says to keep Kyle out of it.
They argue for a minute until Phyllis tells them to stop.
Phyllis says that she can’t put them through this. She says she’s going to disappear and take care of it on her own.
Daniel and Summer both tell her she can’t leave again.
Summer says that Phyllis taught her to protect her loved ones at all costs, and that’s what they’re going to do.
Daniel says that he’ll do anything it takes. He says he loves her.
Phyllis hugs Daniel.
Crimson Lights
Cameron asks Sharon if her only question is what he’s doing there. He wonders why she isn’t asking what he’s been doing every day for the last 20 years.
He says that he’s there because he’s been curious about her. He says he knows they had their problems, but nobody touched him the way that Sharon did.
Cameron comes closer to Sharon and says that what they shared was real and he knows she felt it.
Nick comes in and pushes Cameron away from Sharon. He tells Cameron to stay away from Sharon and everyone in Nick’s family.
The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge
Jack says that he’s never seen Diane more radiant and alive.
Diane says that’s because she’s going to spend the rest of her life with Jack.
Jack asks if she’s had any thoughts about the wedding.
Diane says she doesn’t care if they go to a Justice of the Peace. She wants to be married to Jack.
They kiss as they dance the night away.
Phyllis’s Hotel Room
Phyllis says that Christine put out an APB for her and that Christine won’t be happy until Phyllis is behind bars.
Summer tells Phyllis that she told Victor and Nikki that Phyllis is alive.
Phyllis asks why she did that.
Summer says they were downstairs with Jack and Diane and she had to tell them.
Phyllis says that Diane’s probably laughing it up downstairs with her newfound freedom.
Daniel makes a comment about doing the right thing.
Summer tells Daniel that the right thing to do is to protect Phyllis.
Daniel asks if Phyllis has a plan to get out of the mess she’s in.
Phyllis says she hacked into Stark’s email accounts and is looking for some clues. She says she needs to find the EMT named Carson.
Daniel says they need to find a safer place to hide Phyllis instead of at the GCAC.
Summer says she’ll think about it, but she has to go and check in with Kyle.
She opens the door and is shocked to see Kyle standing in the hall.
Crimson Lights
Cameron tells Nick that he missed him. He says he just stopped by to say hi.
He says that he ran into Nick and Sharon’s daughter, Faith, and she’s a beauty, just like her mom.
Nick tells Cameron that he needs to leave right now.
Cameron says Nick really holds a grudge. He tells Nick and Sharon to have a nice night and leaves the cafe.
Sharon breaks down in tears, and Nick comforts her.
Next week on The Young and the Restless
Kyle asks Summer how long she’s known where Phyllis is staying.
Victor tells Adam that if he goes through with it, he’ll be in direct competition with Newman Media.
Sharon tells Faith to stay close and be careful.
As Faith leaves the house, she lets out a piercing scream at something that she sees outside.
