This episode of The Young and The Restless airs Monday, November 28, 2022. In this episode, Ashley interrogates Tucker about his involvement with Diane, Daniel Romalotti has a plan for Chancellor-Winters, and Phyllis and Nikki speak with the investigative journalist. Crimson Lights
Summer squeals as she runs into Crimson Lights to hug Daniel. He’s glad to see his sister. She asks why he’s there and how long he’s staying.
He says he’s thinking about sticking around for a while and has a meeting at Chancellor-Winters.
Summer is surprised, since he’s an artist but he’s considering a career change.
She asks what the new project would be, but Daniel says that he doesn’t want to jinx it by talking about it.
Summer says that she’d love to have Harrison and Lucy hang out together, but Daniel says that Heather and Lucy are in Portugal for the foreseeable future.
Devon’s Apartment
Lily brings Devon’s pie plate to him at the penthouse. She noticed he barely cracked a smile during Moses’ video chat. He reluctantly tells her that he and Abby slept together.
Lily can’t believe it, and he tells her that Amanda caught him in the act. She says she’s not judging, but she understands why Amanda left.
Devon says she was nothing but supportive, and yet he’s cheated on her twice.
Lily asks if Chance knows, and Devon says that yes, Chance came in with Amanda and saw everything.
Lily says, “What were you thinking?”
Devon says, “We weren’t. It just happened, and now it’s done and over with.”
Lily asks if there’s any way to get back together with Amanda. Devon says there’s not, she told him to stay away from her.
Lily says that she understands how he feels about losing a grip on his relationship, that she’s feeling that way with her relationship with Billy.
Devon asks what Billy’s done, if it has to do with him leaving Chancellor-Winters.
Lily says that she’s not sure what’s happened, but now that their working relationship is gone, their closeness has disappeared as well.
Devon says he’s sorry to hear that, and Lily says that she’s thankful for him not saying “I told you so”.
There’s a knock at the door, it’s Daniel Romalotti. He hugs Devon and says that he’s happy to see him.
Devon says that they’re excited to hear about his proposal. They sit down in the living room to talk.
Daniel says that art is very much a part of his being, but he is caught up with some new energy, and wants to use his talent to reach a bigger audience.
He wants to build a mega-universe gaming platform. Lily says that ChanceCom had a gaming platform that had 20 Million players, so this sounds plausible.
Daniel says no reason that they couldn’t make a platform that would have 50 million users, and that he wants to make a game where players will come out as better people when they play it.
Lily and Devon thinks it’s a great idea.
Daniel gets out a tablet and sends them some numbers to look over later. He says that it’s his sole focus right now.
He says that he’s got a passion project in mind… “Finding Princess Louisa”, where people will go looking for a mythical princess. He’s modeled it after his daughter.
Daniel is very passionate, and thinks that it could be launched on their existing platform. He says that he has his daughter to thank for getting him into gaming.
Daniel says that he’s very happy that he came back to Genoa City, and leaves to work more on his idea.
Lily asks if he seems different, but Devon thinks he’s the same Daniel he knew before.

Phyllis and Nikki meet with Talia, the investigative journalist.
Phyllis and Nikki tell Talia how Diane was moving money around for Jeremy Stark, and that they think that Diane made a deal with the feds to put Jeremy Stark in prison.
Talia says that she can’t write an article unless they have any proof that Diane was working with Jeremy Stark.
She says that everything they’ve said so far is only hearsay, and that they’ve made their hatred of Diane clear.
She says without anything solid, they shouldn’t contact her again. She leaves them at the club.
Phyllis says she can’t believe that Talia just left and told them to leave it be.
Nikki and Phyllis talk about how they need to take drastic measures to bring Diane down.
Nikki asks what type of measures they’re talking about.
Phyllis says that Jeremy Stark was released from prison, and that they need to get in touch with him to let him know where Diane is.
Abbott Mansion
Diane shows up and talks to Jack. She says she is so thankful that she was able to be there for their Thanksgiving dinner.
Jack says he doesn’t blame Diane for Ashley leaving the dinner. He says that he doesn’t think that Ashley will ever accept her as an Abbott.
Diane says that Ashley, Nikki, and Phyllis have declared war on her. Jack says that she shouldn’t use the word “war”, but Diane says that’s what it is.
Diane says that she’s warned them that Jeremy Stark could be dangerous, but they don’t seem to understand. She’s worried that Jeremy Stark could get involved and cause problems to them all.
She says that Jeremy made remarks about how bad things “just happened” to people who crossed him, and she’s worried about that.
She thinks that Jeremy might come after her family, and even Jabot.
Jack says that he’s taking her warnings seriously, and that Ashley will do her own thing.
He says that Kyle has to be told about everything, including the fact that Tucker asked her to give him information on Jabot.
Diane doesn’t want to do it right away, but Jack disagrees and says that it has to be done immediately. Diane reluctantly agrees, and says she’ll tell him today.
She says that she’ll never leave the family again, that nothing will ever take her from her grandson or son again.
Jack agrees. He says that Harrison and Kyle are his top priorities too, but someone also has to protect Diane.
He asks her to rely on him to make sure that it doesn’t turn into a full-on battle.
Diane thanks him for putting his trust in her, and they hug.
At that moment, Ashley walks in and finds them in an embrace.
Ashley asks how in the world that Jack has become so irrational when Diane’s involved.
Jack says that his family is in danger, and that if Ashley goes to war with Diane, she goes to war with him too… “Is that what you want?!”
Society
Tucker greets Ashley, and says that she looks lovely. There is a rose on the table, but Ashley says that she’s not there for a date.
Ashley tells Tucker that Diane crashed her dinner party, and that she’s done with her. Ashley says she’s “lowering the boom on her.”
Tucker says that his feelings aren’t as passionate about Diane as Ashley’s.
Ashley says that she was counting on his help. Tucker says his goals have shifted.
Tucker says that his son, Devon, needs his help right now.
Ashley says that Jack thinks that Tucker is going after Jabot, and Ashley says that if he is, that Jack wouldn’t be his only opponent.
She says that Diane has mentioned that he was asking her for Jabot’s financial information, and asks what he thinks about that.
Tucker is noncommittal, and says that Diane isn’t an adversary, that she’s a weak opponent.
Ashley says that she knows it would be “incredibly stupid” of Tucker to try to get Jabot back, as he gave it back to the Abbott family a long time ago.
She sarcastically says that it sure wouldn’t make sense of him to ask Diane to get that information. She sounds like she doesn’t really believe him.
After Ashley leaves, Tucker makes a phone call. “We have to talk.”
