Society
Nick sees Sally at Society, and they playfully banter for a minute before entering the restaurant together.

Michael and Lauren are sitting there, and Nick and Sally say good morning.
Nick says that he hopes his father isn’t dragging Michael into too much craziness. Michael laughs and says he enjoys the craziness.

Nick says to Sally that he wouldn’t mind company while he “mashes down some pancakes”, to which she grinningly replies that she’d love to have breakfast with him, and they sit down at a table.
Lauren looks over at them, and wonders aloud if Sally and Nick are dating. Michael says he doesn’t care either way as he thumbs through the menu.

Sally says to Nick that she can feel Lauren’s eyes burning a hole in her back.
Lauren says to Michael that Sally and Nick look very intimate. Michael ponders what he’s going to have for breakfast.

Lauren asks Michael if he’s just ignoring everything about this possible relationship she sees.
Michael says he doesn’t mind if they’re dating, he fell in love with Lauren in the blink of an eye, and he’s no judge.
Lauren says they’re lucky in their relationship, but she hopes that Nick and Sally aren’t going to hurt each other.

Sally and Nick talk about how they’re being scrutinized, and Nick says he’s gotten used to not giving a damn about how people look at him, and neither should she.
Sally says that Nick might be hearing stories from people about things she’s done in the past. She says she doesn’t want there to be any surprises down the road for them.
She tells him that he can ask her about anything. Nick takes her hand and they smile.

Summer comes into the restaurant and sees Sally and Nick having breakfast.
She comes over and says that she can’t believe that they’re still together.

Summer asks to speak to her father, and Sally says that sure, she has to go make a phone call anyhow. She gets up and leaves Summer and Nick at the table.
Summer sits down with her father and says that she’s not happy to see Sally.
She says that Sally wanted Summer out of Genoa City so that she could take her job, and can’t believe that her father is with her again.
Nick says that everyone’s done terrible stuff, and says, “Don’t you think everyone deserves redemption?”

Sally sits down with Lauren and Michael while Summer is talking to Nick.
Lauren asks how she’s doing, and what she’s up to.
She says she’s working to go forward with her life after leaving the CEO position at Chancellor-Winters, and explains that she’s starting a new venture.

Summer says to Nick that she thinks that Sally is using him, that she jumped from one rich Newman to another.
Nick says that he offered to give her money, and she rejected it, so it isn’t about money.
Summer says that’s very interesting, but she still doesn’t trust her.
Nick says that he understands her mistrust, but he hopes she’ll gain her trust.

Lauren says that Sally’s always had a keen eye for fashion, but that she’s her own worst enemy.
Sally says that she’s left her self-sabotaging part of herself behind.
Lauren says that it’s always nice when someone can redeem herself.

Michael says that Lauren’s moved past troubling parts of her past too. Lauren gives him a look.
Lauren says that she’s happy that she’s moving forward with her life.
Sally says she should be getting back to her table, and excuses herself.

Michael says it’s funny that she’s being so nice to Sally, as he thought she was a sworn enemy.
Lauren says that she’s trying to move on.

Michael gets a text message from Victor. He has to go meet him, and gets up and leaves.
Summer gives her dad a kiss and leaves Sally and Nick to talk.
Sally sits down and asks Nick what he and Summer talked about.

Nick says that he told her that he will be the only one who decides who he will be dating, and that he wants Sally in his life, and despite Summer’s misgivings, that’s his choice.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack comes down to the living room and sees Diane smiling and having a hot drink on the couch.
He asks how she’s feeling.

She says she didn’t sleep well, but wants to go to Jabot early so that people don’t get the wrong impression.
Ashley steps into the room and says, “Wrong impression about what?”

Jack explains that he invited Diane to stay the night because she’s in danger from Jeremy Stark.
Jack says he asked Phyllis how Jeremy Stark knew where Diane was, but she disavowed any involvement.

He asks Ashley, again, if she had anything to do with Jeremy Stark’s arrival. She sputters in outrage, and Diane leaves for the office.
Kyle comes into the room and says that he definitely knows that Jeremy Stark had arrived in town, he had confronted him at his hotel room at the Grand Phoenix.

Jack says that Diane is staying in the same hotel as Jeremy Stark, so he will put Diane under a security watch.
He explains that he’ll have to put the whole family under protection, as Jeremy had come into their house, and Harrison was there, so he has to protect the family.

Kyle asks if there’s anything he can do.
Jack says that there’s not, he’ll take care of it. He leaves to get things in place for the security detail.
Kyle speaks with Ashley alone, saying that he doesn’t have proof, but he knows that Ashley was involved in putting his family in danger.
Ashley says she wasn’t directly involved.

Kyle asks if she even cares how this affects Harrison. She says that she would lay down her own life for him.
Kyle says that he hopes it doesn’t come to that. He says that if anything happens, he’ll come down on Ashley like she’s never experienced. He leaves, angry.

Ashley remembers telling Phyllis that she didn’t wasn’t sure that it was a good idea to tell Jeremy Stark about Diane’s whereabouts, as she didn’t want Jeremy Stark getting violent with anyone, including Diane.

Crimson Lights
Victoria and Nikki are having a coffee and talking, discussing how things are going for Victoria at Chancellor-Winters.
Victoria says things are good, except that Nick is still concerned about Nate replacing Sally as CEO.

Suddenly, Nikki’s face drops when Jeremy Stark steps into the coffee shop. Victoria asks what’s wrong.
Nikki says that she knows the man who just came in, that it’s Jeremy Stark.

Victoria looks around, and Nikki whispers for her to not look.
Victoria asks her mom if she’s responsible for bringing a criminal to town.

Nikki loudly says they should get going, and starts talking about paperwork as they leave.
Jeremy watches them closely as they walk out of the coffee shop.

Jabot
Diane arrives at Jabot and finds Phyllis in the lobby.
Phyllis says that she’ll have to wait to see Jack, as she was there first, and Jack’s not even there.

Diane says she doesn’t mind, and that her face was the last thing that Jack saw before bed, and the first thing he saw in the morning.
Diane triumphantly says, “That’s right, I spent the night at the Abbott house!”

Phyllis says that she obviously didn’t have sex with Jack, or she would have been shouting it from the rooftops.
Diane says she slept in the guest room, and that Phyllis thinks she’s hurting her, but she’s only making her connection with Jack stronger.

The elevator dings, and Jeremy Stark steps off, seeing Diane talking with Phyllis.
He says, “Diane, I sure am happy to see you!”
She asks how he got into the building, he says he has his ways.
Diane introduces Phyllis as the one who let him know where she is now.

He says Phyllis’s voice is familiar. She responds that she just has a voice that everybody knows.
Phyllis excuses herself and says that she has to be somewhere.
Jeremy steps up to Diane and says, “We need to talk. Our last conversation was cut short.”

Jeremy stretches out on a couch. Diane tells him that he can’t stay there.
She pulls him into Jack’s office.

He tells her that he knows that she betrayed him, and it was told to him by someone who sounded, strangely, just like Phyllis.
He asks Diane if she thinks he’s a criminal out for revenge. He says that he’s not petty, and doesn’t want revenge. He wants something from Diane.

He says, intensely, “I. WANT. MY. MONEY.”
He says that he had one last shipment of cash that didn’t make it to the islands, and that she was the last one in possession with it.
He says “Give me my money, and you’ll never see me again.”

Diane says she doesn’t have it, that she used the money to rebiuld her life after he went to prison.
She says it was her right to use that money to survive.

He says it’s not his problem, that it’s his money, and she owes him.
He steps menacingly toward her, when Jack walks into his office and sees the two of them there.

Newman Enterprises
Nikki and Victoria arrive at Victoria’s office.
Victoria says that Nikki looks scared that someone followed them.

Nikki says that she and Ashley had talked about not getting in contact with Stark, and places the blame on Phyllis, as she was the one who called Jeremy Stark and invited him to town.
Victor comes into the office, and tells them that he’s heard that Jeremy Stark is in town.

He says, “You know this guy is dangerous, the threat is real.”
Victor tells Nikki that she has to cut Phyllis out of her life, as she’s put them all in danger.
He says he’ll get security details on everyone in the family as well as the business to make sure that Jeremy Stark doesn’t affect them.

Victor excuses himself, as he needs to meet with Michael Baldwin.
In the hallway, he meets with Michael and tells him to find out everything he can about Jeremy Stark.
