Society

Lily is sitting and pondering at Society, when Traci comes in and starts talking about Christmas shopping, and how she’s surrounded by “naughty people”.

Lily invites Traci to sit with her, and Traci sits down and says to Lily that when she came in, Lily was a million miles away.
Lily says that she was just thinking about Billy.

Traci says that it must be difficult since Billy decided to step down as C.O.O.
Lily says that it was a tough time, as Nate left at the same time, so there was a lot of turnover to deal with, and a lot of things that she thought she could count on are falling apart.

Traci asks if things are “more than a little bumpy” between her and Billy.
Lily says, “You could say that.”

Traci asks if he’s gambling again.
Lily says that he’s not, but he’s lost focus, and it’s taken over his life, and it’s taken over hers because she can’t stop thinking about Billy’s problems.

Traci asks if she would consider getting couple’s therapy, and wonders if Billy would go. Lily says she’s interested, and asks if Traci is volunteering.
Traci laughs, and says that Lily needs to tell Billy that she needs him, and that she needs to get that through his “thick, beautiful skull”.
Lily smiles sadly, and nods in agreement.
The Glam Club
Billy comes into the club, and sees Daniel, who’s sitting there having a drink.

They talk about how they’re both there for a drink, as nothing else serves booze at that time.
Billy says that he heard about Daniel’s project at Chancellor-Winters.

Daniel says that the CEO doesn’t want him to talk about it, so he can’t really say much. He says that he wants to create something huge and aspirational.
Billy says that if he was still at Chancellor-Winters, he’d probably screw things up, and that he’s moving on.

Daniel says, “What are you moving on to? What’s next for Billy Abbott?”
Billy says that he’s still trying to figure it out, and it feels strange to be questioned about it by Daniel.

Daniel says that he just hopes that Billy’s being supportive to Lily, and that he chose to walk away when the situation at Chancellor-Winters got dicey.
Billy deflects, and says that the club is a big place, he’s going to find a place to go through his emails. He gets up.

Daniel says that his project will help people find themselves. Billy looks contemplative.

The Abbott Mansion
Harrison says to Jack that he made some art for Dee-Dee, and asks where she is. Summer looks on.

Jack tells Harrison that his dad, Kyle, is away on a business trip, and that Dee-Dee (Diane) had to leave for a while too. He explains that when she gets back, that they can have a lot of fun together.
Summer agrees, and says that they can go sledding together.

Harrison asks if she’ll be back for Christmas.
Summer says that Harrison is upstairs with the nanny, getting ready for a nap, and quickly calls Kyle for an update.

After she’s off the phone, Jack and Summer talk alone about how they’re the only ones who know where Diane is.
Summer asks what it’s going to take to get Jeremy Stark to leave.

Jack says that he didn’t leave when he offered him money, but maybe he’ll leave town on his own if he thinks that Diane has ran away for good.
Jack then says that everyone has an Achilles’ heel, and he’ll find Stark’s.

She mentions that Jack and Diane have gotten very close, so quickly, and she wonders why Jack can forgive Diane, but not forgive Phyllis.
He says that Diane has gone to great lengths to show that she’s changed. He says she’s been playing defensively ever since she got back to Genoa City, and that she’s had to defend herself from Nikki, Ashley, and Phyllis.

He says that Phyllis was a giant part of his life from before Summer was born, but he just can’t overlook the fact that she’s created real danger for everyone in his family.
Summer says that she understands, even though she’s angry with her mother, she still hopes that Phyllis and Jack can work things out and be with each other again.

Jack says that he’s sorry, but that won’t happen.
Summer says that her mom is her own worst enemy.
Crimson Lights
Phyllis comes into the coffee shop to meet with Jeremy Stark, who is sitting and having a hot drink.
Jeremy asks her to sit, and he says that it’s nice to put a face to the anonymous caller that let him know where Diane was.

Phyllis says it wasn’t her, but Jeremy says that Diane is pretty sure it was, and that her distinctive voice on the phone gives it away.
Phyllis asks Jeremy Stark why he’s there.
He says that he’s there to connect with old friends.

Phyllis asks “Why Diane?”
He says that Diane has something of his that he needs. He says that he can tell when someone’s lying, and that’s why he invited Phyllis to talk to him face-to-face.
Jeremy asks where she got the information that Diane had turned him over to the feds.

Phyllis again says that she wasn’t the one who called him and told him that.
Jeremy says that he is very motivated to see Diane.
Phyllis says that Jeremy must think she knows where Diane is. She says that when he does find out, he’ll make Diane pay for what she’s done.

Jeremy says that Phyllis and he want the same thing. He asks if Phyllis knows what he means.
Phyllis admits that she was the one who called him, and says that she knew he’d scare Diane out of town. She says that she has no proof that Diane went to the feds.
Jeremy says that she lied to him, then, that she has no proof.

Phyllis, with tears in her eyes, says that she’s so sorry that she inconvenienced him, and that he can go back to L.A. or wherever he wants to now.
She says that they’re done, and there’s no reason for him to be there, since Diane’s gone now.
Jeremy says that he’s glad they talked, it’s been illuminating. He gets up and puts on his jacket.

He says that he really wants to make things right with Diane, and asks Phyllis to tell him where she is.
She says she doesn’t know, but that Diane left without her grandson, and without telling her son where she went, so she must be scared for her life.
Jeremy says, “You can find out where she is”, and walks out of the coffee shop, leaving Phyllis staring after him with a frightened look on her face.

Jabot
Summer and Jack arrive at the offices, and Phyllis shows up.
Phyllis says that she needs to speak to them.
Jack says that she can speak to Summer, as she’s her boss.

Phyllis says that she needs to speak to them both… It’s about Jeremy Stark.
They go into Jack’s office, and she says that she admitted to Jeremy that she was the one who had called him.
She says that she also had advised him that he could go back to L.A., as Diane has left town.

Jack asks if Stark is going to leave as she suggested.
Phyllis says that she thinks he’s going to stay, as he mentioned that Diane has something he wants.
Jack says he is finished with Phyllis, as he had told her to stay the hell out of things.

He says that there was a small part of him that really hoped that she wasn’t lying when she said that she didn’t call Jeremy Stark, but she’s proven once again that she can’t be trusted.
Phyllis asks if that means that she’s being fired. Jack says that she works for Summer and Kyle, and that they can make that decision, as he’s done with her.
