This episode of The Young and The Restless airs Wednesday, November 30, 2022. In this episode, Adam tries to convince Sally that they’re meant for each other, Nick and Victoria bicker about Nate, and Elena is invited to L.A. for a romantic getaway. This recap’s episode airs one day early in Canada.
On the last episode of Y&R, Chloe reunites with Chelsea, Devon and Abby almost kiss, and Chance asks for a divorce.
Society
Adam comes in to find Sally sitting at the bar, working on a tablet. He says he’s completely sober and is sorry for the way he acted the other night.
He asks if she had a nice Thanksgiving.
She says she had takeout and an old movie, and asks if he had a good time nursing his hangover. He responds that he had a nice time with Chelsea and Connor.
Adam says that he wants to apologize for his behavior, and asks for her forgiveness, that he shouldn’t have been drunk and talking to her.
She says that it’s hard to forgive him for that, as he said a lot of bad things.
He says that he realizes his behavior was excessive, and he should have never suggested that Nick was just using her as a replacement for Sharon.
He says that he won’t take back his proposal, that he still wants to marry her, and that he still thinks they belong together.
Sally says that she may have felt for him in the past, but that’s changed. She says that he’s just like his father, and that he plays games and broke her heart.
Adam says that he should have given her the grand romantic gesture that she deserves, and that they still love each other.
He asks if she ever thought about marrying him, and she says of course she did, but not now, and why is he torturing her with it?
She says that she’s not playing hard to get, and that he has to accept that she’ll never come back to him.
Adam tries to convince her about their connection to each other. He says that Nick is not who she deserves.
Nick comes in to see Sally, and Sally rushes away from Adam to see him.
Nick sees Adam there, and gives him a pained look.
Nick and Sally sit at a table, and Sally talks about her new Interior Design business. Nick says that he admires her, almost as much as he admires her trying to distract him from Adam.
Adam butts in and says, “Thanks for clearing the air between us, Sally. It was really great talking to you.”
He gives Nick a triumphant look as he leaves the restaurant.
Nick asks Sally how she feels about Adam’s marriage proposal. Sally says that she doesn’t want to talk about it, she just wants to talk about them.
Nick talks about his Thanksgiving dinner with his family, and reminds her that she was invited.
Sally laughs and says that she enjoyed the wine that he sent while she had her “alone-time” Thanksgiving.
Newman Enterprises
Nick comes into Victoria’s office, and she closes the door behind him to talk to him in private.
She says that he had no right to undermine her choice of CEO.
Nick says that he had every right to let Nate know as a colleague and friend that he didn’t trust him anymore.
He asks what will happen when Nate wants more power than Victoria is willing to give him.
Victoria says that Victor would take a risk with it, and she says that as her C.O.O., she wants Nick to support her decision.
She thinks he’s still focused on Sally leaving as CEO, and says that she cares about Nick, and doesn’t want to see him get hurt by Sally.

Nate’s Apartment
Elena says that she’s nervous about her upcoming interview at Chancellor-Winters.
Nate reassures her that she’ll be fine, that she has nothing to worry about.
Elena says that she felt judgement from Devon the last time she saw him. Nate says that instead of working for Newman she should come to Newman Media and do podcasts with them.
Elena isn’t sure about that, but Nate says that if she comes to Newman, her passion will be awarded.
She says that she feels loyalty to Devon and Lily.
Nate explains that the reason he was late to dinner the other night, was that he was talking with Victoria about their future. He says that her leadership will allow him to soar.
He says that if she brings her podcast to Newman Media, that she can soar with him, and they should work together.
He says that he won’t pressure her to come back. He says that Victoria asked him to go to L.A., and she should come, they could have a romantic getaway together.
She says that she wants things to go back to the way they used to be, and they kiss passionately.
Crimson Lights
Lily sees Billy at the coffee shop, and they start sniping at each other. Lily says that she’s not surprised to see him there, as he’s probably there to see Chelsea.
He says he’s only there to get a coffee, and that he’d like to talk with Lily, as he wants to fix their relationship.
They have a seat, and Billy says that he doesn’t like that his interactions with Chelsea is causing problems between them.
Lily says that she cares about Chelsea, and that she was upset that he called her petty. Billy apologizes, and says that he shouldn’t have done that.
Lily says that it’s not easy to admit, but Chelsea is the one who makes him feel special lately, not her.
Billy says he’s sorry she feels that way, and that once he’s finished with Chelsea, Lily will have his full attention. He says he loves her, and Lily replies that she loves him too.
Lily says that she hopes that Chelsea will come through this OK, but she says that the bigger issue is what Billy is searching for in his life.
Billy says that he hasn’t had time to think about that lately, because of Chelsea. Lily says that it feels like he doesn’t want her involved in his life.
Lily gets a text from Chelsea, asking if they can talk. She excuses herself, and goes upstairs to talk with Chelsea.
Victoria comes into the coffee shop, and Billy sees her. He confronts her, and says that what she did with Nate to infiltrate Chancellor-Winters was insidious.
Victoria says that that’s what Devon thinks, but denies that she had anything to do with it.
She says that Catherine would have approved of it, even if it was true. She gets a coffee and leaves.
Sharon comes into the shop, and sees Billy. She says that she’s been giving Chelsea space to herself, and Billy says that he’s been not giving Chelsea enough space lately.
He thanks Sharon for helping him with Chelsea, and helping her get to the hospital that night.
Billy asks if Sharon thinks he has a savior complex. Sharon says that she doesn’t think so, but says that he needs to take care of himself, and that burnout can happen, so if he needs to step back, he should.
Adam comes in and says he’s happy to see Sharon. He asks if Chelsea is around, and Billy says that she’s talking with Lily.
Lily comes back downstairs, and she takes Billy aside, and tells her that she had a good talk with Chelsea.
Billy asks if he can make up for lost time, and if they can go have lunch at Society.
She says yes, and says that she thinks that he’s been doing a good thing by helping Chelsea.
He tells her to go on ahead, that he’ll meet her there.
Lily leaves, and Billy makes a call to Chelsea, and leaves a voicemail, asking her to call him.
Chelsea’s Apartment
Chelsea is napping, and keeps hearing voices of people from her past berating her. She wakes up suddenly, looking agitated.
She gets up and has a cup of coffee, and sends a text message to Lily, asking her to talk.
Lily arrives, and she asks how things are.
Chelsea says that Lily has probably missed out on a lot of time with Billy, because he’s been very involved with Chelsea’s situation since she attempted suicide.
She says that she doesn’t want there to be any misunderstanding between them, and says that she’ll answer any questions that Lily has.
Lily thanks her for being straightforward with her. She says that she doesn’t know what Chelsea is going through.
Chelsea says she’s getting treatment, and is feeling much better. She says that she owes Billy a lot for saving her life.
Lily says that she thinks it’s best if Chelsea has a group of people to support her, instead of having Billy focus on her. She says that it’s really nice that she has the apartment and the support of everyone.
She says that she’s rooting for Chelsea, and wants her to build a new life for herself. She leaves to go see Billy down at the coffee shop.
A few minutes after Lily leaves, Chelsea gets a call from Billy. She doesn’t answer, and lets it go to voicemail.
