The Glam Club
Adam walks into the club and looks around, thinking about his time with Sally, and how she told him that they had to move on from each other.
Chance comes in while he’s reminiscing, and orders a round of drinks for himself and Adam.
Adam mentions it’s been a while since they’ve been on drinking buddy terms.
Chance says that it’s time they had a drink together.
Chance asks what’s up with Adam, and Adam tells him that he has to face losing Sally for good.
Adam says that Chance has a perfect marriage, and he wishes he had it so good.
Chance tells him that it’s really not that perfect, that Abby and him are splitting up.
Adam is surprised, and wonders if it’s more than just work-life balance. He says that there’s got to be more than just that.
Chance says there is more, and tells Adam that Abby slept with someone else.
Adam is shocked, and asks if they can work things out. Chance says that won’t happen, and that he doesn’t want to wait to get divorced.
Adam says he understands, and tells Chance that he and Sally tried to reconnect, but it was too late, and everything had changed.
Sally’s Hotel Suite
Nick looks around the room at the crumpled sheets, and says that it’s no mystery what happened with Sally and Adam.
He says that he finally has an answer as to how she felt about Adam’s proposal.
Sally says that he needs to have all the information about what happened before he decides to walk away.
She says she had a lot of feelings about Adam after he proposed for her. She was confused, because her feelings for Nick are very real as well.
Sally tells Nick that she was still in love with Adam, but she’s been honest with Nick about that from the beginning.
She says that Adam’s proposal, as inappropriate as it was, got in her head. She tells him that Adam came by and apologized, and told her that they were meant to be together.
She explains that she was scared and had to know how she really felt, that she had to know for sure if there was anything left between them.
Sally says she’s certain that there’s nothing left between them, and that what Nick walked in on was the aftermath of that realization.
Nick asks if she’s sure, and Sally says that she’s positive. She says that what they once had is gone, and that she won’t apologize for it.
She asks what Nick’s feeling, and he says it’s difficult, seeing Adam leaving her room and finding her like this.
He says that he’s happy that she got closure, and he says that with closure comes grieving.
She says that she wants to only focus on Nick right now.
Nick says that it’s going to take him some time to get past this, that under the surface, he’s full of raging jealousy.
Sally says that they want to date, and that she won’t have to worry about how Adam feels about her and Nick being together now.
Sally tells Nick that he needs to think things over, and to take as long as he needs to think about things.
Nick agrees, that there’s a lot to process.
She says, “I guess this is goodnight then.”
Nick nods, and leaves.

Daniel reminisces about how Lily and him went through a lot together, and Lily laughs.
He raises his glass to toast their future together, and Lily, smiling, returns the gesture.
The Abbott Mansion
Jack comforts Diane, saying everything will be alright.
Diane’s phone pings, and she shows Jack a message from Jeremy Stark, saying that it’s a mistake to get the Abbotts to fight for her.
Diane says that she’s scared, and Jack says that he’ll hire whatever security is needed to protect his family and her.
Jack says he’s there to help, and to tell him what she thinks Jeremy Stark wants.
Diane says she knows exactly what he wants… Payback.
Jack asks what he wants payback for.
Diane says that she was holding onto cash for Jeremy… And she kept it.
Jack asks if she told the feds about it, and she says that she didn’t tell them, she didn’t want to take the risk that she’d be arrested.
Jack says that what’s important is that she has what Jeremy Stark wants, so she just needs to give it back.
She says it’s gone, and she can’t give it back.
Jack is surprised, and asks what she did with the money. She says that she used it to rebuild her life, to get a real estate license.
She says that she was so happy to get out from under Jeremy’s thumb, and that the money let her do the hard work of putting her life back together.
She says she felt free, until Tucker came poking around. Jack says that everything was good, until she got under someone else’s thumb.
She says that now that Jeremy is out of prison, and in Genoa City, that she feels terrified.
Jack says that he can help her. He’ll repay the money to Jeremy Stark.
Diane says, “Absolutely not!”
She says that she wants to be independent, and that she won’t let him buy her out of this mess.
He says that she should consider it a loan.
She declines, and says that even if she did pay Jeremy back, that thanks to Phyllis, Nikki, and Ashley, he probably thinks that she ratted him out to the feds, and will still come after her.
Jack says that Kyle and him won’t let Jeremy do anything to her, that she’s safe now.
Diane says she’s grateful for his support. She says, “Thanks for everything, I think I should go now.”
Jack says that he thinks it’d be better, and safer if she stayed in a guest room.
Diane says she’s not sure how safe she’d be, with Ashley under the same roof.
Jack says that he’ll handle Ashley, and that he wants Diane to stay there with him.
Diane is relieved, and they hug tightly.
