The son of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and adopted son of Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) returns to Genoa City the week of November 21, 2022, according to Soap Opera Digest.
Bryton James (Devon) and Christel Khalil (Lily) were visiting Michael to see his twins, when Bryton asked him whether he’d return to Y&R. Michael replied, “I never really thought about it… I’d be very tempted.”
That started his return to set, and Graziadei says, “From there, it just happened really fast.”
The actor was quoted as saying “It was like I had never left, it just felt like another day that I was walking through the artists’ entrance, down the hallway to hair and make-up.”
For readers not familiar with their past, Daniel Romalotti and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) started a relationship back in 2005, and had a Las Vegas wedding, forging the signatures of her parents to tie the knot.
Their marriage lasted a few years, but problems soon surfaced, causing a rift between the two, and they divorced in 2009.
In 2010, Lily was diagnosed with cancer, and this brought them back together, and in 2011, they rekindled their flame for each other, but it was short-lived as Lily went back to Cane.
Daniel and Lily are still friends, and his return should prove to be interesting, as it appears that things are cooling down between Lily and Billy. Who knows, maybe the spark between Lily and Daniel will rekindle!
