Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Chelsea & Adam got a critical update on Connor, Lily sought revenge against Daniel, and Phyllis went sleuthing.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam answers the door and invites Sharon in. He thanks her for getting there so quickly.
Sharon says she had to get there quickly… He told her he needed help before he made things worse! She asks if this is about Connor.
Adam nods and paces around the room, complaining that they have to trust “these people” to know what they’re talking about.
Sharon tells him to slow down… What happened?
Adam says he’s never felt so helpless in his life. He says the doctor gave him an update about Connor, and it’s not good.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer is sleeping on Harrison’s bed, holding his stuffed fox in her arms. She dreams of playing hide-and-seek with Harrison, but she can’t find him.
She wakes up, startled, and realizes it’s not a dream… Harrison is missing.
The Tack House at Newman Ranch
Nikki looks in through the window of the tack house and sees nobody. Relieved, she pulls out a flask and takes a swig.
She pops a breath mint, and suddenly, the door opens. Victoria looks out at her.
The Newman House
Victor tells Kyle and Jack that Michael Baldwin will be there shortly… He’s the one who arranged the payoff for Jordan previously.
Jack says he wants to increase the amount Jordan will get in her offshore account.
Victor says that’s not necessary… He’s offered her an enormous amount of money.
Jack says he’s sure he did, but he wants to add to it… It’s his grandson, too, and he wants to do something.
Victor agrees. He says Jordan will be glad to receive the additional money.
Kyle says he needs to check in on Summer and bring her up to speed. He mentions that Traci found her asleep in Harrison’s bed.
Victor tells him to give Summer a hug and let her know that they won’t rest until Harrison is home.
Kyle nods. He thanks them both for setting aside their differences to help his son.
Jack and Victor both agree they’ll do anything for Harrison.
Kyle leaves.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam tells Sharon that he and Chelsea had a video call with Connor’s psychiatrist, who is in charge of his growing team of specialists, and they filled them in on their latest “cookie-cutter diagnosis.”
Sharon says it can be overwhelming to get all this information at once.
Adam says he can handle the information and can do a deep dive with the best of them, but the doctor was just telling him “jargon that was meant to impress me.”
Sharon doubts it.
Adam says they were throwing around terms and labels, but it’s a child, not a collection of disorders.
Sharon says that’s true, and she’s sure Connor’s team sees him as the wonderful young man he is.
Adam smiles saccharinely. “I’m sure they do.”
Sharon says it might help him to trust himself more.
Adam says he’s not worried about himself. According to Connor’s doctors, he’s not only been diagnosed with OCD but with trauma that Adam is responsible for. According to the “brilliant specialists,” Connor’s life has been one traumatic event after another.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer sits up in Harrison’s bed, crying as she feels the loss of her son. She pulls out her phone and calls Chance.
Chance answers. He says he’s been in and out of meetings all day… Is everything okay?
Summer tells him she needs his help.
The Tack House
Nikki walks into the house and tells Victoria that she came by to see how Victoria is holding up.
Victoria says she’s fine, and Cole is away checking with the security team to see if there are any updates. She says they’d hear from the team if there were any updates, but Cole is restless and needs to stay busy.
Nikki says she wishes he hadn’t left her alone. She asks Victoria if she’d like to take a walk.
Victoria says she doesn’t want to leave, just in case. She’s been rearranging the kitchen to make room for some new things; she needs to replace some of the china they lost in the fire. She says she’s been going over the last conversation she had with Claire in her head.
Nikki nods and says she’s been doing the same thing, but she hasn’t come up with anything that might be helpful.
Victoria says she came up with a few things… Claire kept talking about how happy she was that they were moving in and couldn’t wait to meet her brother and sister; he’d finally find out what it was like to have a happy family life! She says her heart won’t let her believe Claire would turn her back on that dream… Not for Jordan or anyone.
The Newman House
Jack asks how Nikki’s holding up.
Victor says she’s visiting Victoria right now.
Jack is glad she and Victoria have such a close bond.
Victor says he’s glad that Jack’s sponsorship of Nikki is going smoothly, though it was interrupted by the man buying her a drink at Society. He assumes Jordan prompted this fellow to do so.
Jack says they don’t know it was Jordan who was behind it.
Victor promises it was Jordan. He says Nikki could have fallen off the wagon.
Jack says Nikki knows that no matter what happens, it’s always one day at a time. He says neither Victor nor Jack may be happy to admit it, but they have one thing in common… They both love their families and are devoted to keeping them safe.
Victor says they both know they have to get their grandson back, no matter what.
Jack nods. “No matter what.”
Michael walks into the room and greets them.
Victor asks Michael if the offer he made to Jordan is still set up.
Michael says it’s all in place… The offshore account, the new identity, and the deed to the house in France. He tells Jack they never intended for Jordan to walk free, but the documentation had to appear legitimate in order for Jordan to fall for it.
Jack thanks him for everything he’s done. He hopes it will work this time.
Michael says there’s a difference this time… They don’t have a trap ready to spring on her!
Victor says they’ll set one.
Adam’s Apartment
Sharon tells Adam to slow down and tell her exactly what the doctor said. She doesn’t believe they’re laying the blame on Adam.
Adam says they made him feel like they were laying the blame on him.
Sharon asks if the doctors made him feel that way or whether he’s making himself feel that way.
Adam says they’re still trying to get to the root of the matter, but they said that Connor’s OCD and trauma are occurring simultaneously. He says that they said that a traumatic event might have brought out his OCD, and Connor has had plenty of trauma in his life.
Sharon nods. Connor has had a lot of trauma to deal with in his short life. She says Adam shouldn’t take it all on himself; it won’t do him or Connor any good. She bets that Connor doesn’t blame Adam for any of it.
Adam says she’s right; Connor doesn’t blame him. He says Connor believes that all the family’s problems are his fault and is questioning whether he should have been born.
The Newman House
Victor says he has two goals right now… The first is to get his great-grandson home safely, and the other is to put “that bitch” into a place where she can’t endanger either of their families.
Jack likes it but says they need to make sure that this time, they lock her up securely. They need to learn from the mistakes they’ve made in trapping her in the past.
Victor asks if he has an example.
Jack says if they hadn’t left her in her own trap and put her in prison where she belonged, she would have never been able to poison herself and run out of the hospital!
Victor snaps back and tells Jack that his home security must be inept, or Jordan wouldn’t have been able to kidnap Harrison.
Jack asks if Victor is suggesting Jack didn’t take enough precautions to protect him from Jordan.
Michael steps in as the two argue. He reminds them they’re on the same team.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle comes home, and Summer asks where he’s been. He says he’s been with Victor and Jack.
Summer asks if there’s any news.
Kyle says he received Jordan’s demands.
Summer says he got the demands from Claire.
Kyle says they don’t know that for sure.
Summer says the communications are coming from Claire’s phone, and she was the last person with Harrison.
Kyle says he doesn’t want to get into it right now. He says Victor told him and Jack how he caught Jordan last time, and they’re going to use the same strategy this time. He says Victor offered Jordan millions in an offshore bank account along with passport, birth certificates, and all the necessary documents. He promised her safe passage out of the US, and offered her a deed to a house in France with her new name, where she’ll be free to live out the rest of her days.
Summer says it’s no wonder Jordan was tempted. She asks what Jordan and Claire demanded.
Kyle says Jordan wants them to make good on the promise this time. No tricks or traps. Once she’s safely tucked away in Europe, she’ll reveal Harrison’s location.
Summer says they are not doing that. There’s no way!
Kyle says they’ll figure it out as they go… This is at least a start.
Summer asks him to give her Claire’s phone number. She’s going to offer herself in exchange for Harrison. He’ll come home, and Summer will be their hostage until all the demands are met.

Adam’s Apartment
Adam tells Sharon he’s not sure how to process this… Connor should be playing soccer or going to the movies with his friends. He’s a smart and caring kid!
Sharon agrees.
Adam says it’s not fair… Connor’s life has been unpredictable and harder than he deserves. He says he can’t breath when he thinks about it; it’s like a weight on his chest that keeps getting heavier.
Sharon tells him that Connor’s OCD is what’s giving him his intrusive thoughts. Connor wouldn’t have those ideas on his own, and Adam needs to believe it.
Adam says he believes it because he knows what it feels like… He’s got demons in his mind, too.
The Abbott Mansion
Kyle tells Summer he’s not surprised she’d risk her life for their son, but…
Summer interrupts him and tells him she’s doing it. She doesn’t care what happens to her; she wants to get her son home.
Kyle says it won’t work.
Summer says Claire hates her… She’d probably jump at the opportunity to trade Summer for Harrison.
Kyle says it won’t work because he already tried. He says he sent a text asking to trade places with Harrison, but it was rejected. “Not a chance” was the response he received.
Summer asks why they’d care who they were holding on to, unless… She can’t finish her sentence.
Kyle tells her not to let that thought into her mind.
The Newman House
Victor yells into the phone at his security team, telling them to keep searching; he doesn’t pay them to fail!
Jack figures they haven’t had any luck tracing Claire’s cell phone.
Michael says Jordan is probably turning the phone on when she sends a message and turns it off immediately after so there’s no trace.
Victor promises Jordan will pay.
The Tack House
Nikki tells Victoria that even though they don’t know what Claire has or has not done, they know that Jordan’s behind it.
Victoria says she’s been tormenting them ever since Claire was taken from them.
Nikki says Jordan hasn’t changed her colors.
Victoria thinks Claire’s rejection caused Jordan to hate her more than anyone else. She thinks Claire might be in as much danger as Harrison is.
Nikki agrees. She asks Victoria to promise her something… Someday, Victoria needs to find a way to forgive her, even if she doesn’t forgive herself.
Victoria asks what she’s talking about.
Nikki says none of this would have happened if she hadn’t called for help when Jordan poisoned herself.
Victoria tells her mom not to blame herself for basic decency. She saved someone who’d done nothing but torture her.
Nikki says her idea to lure Jordan to the party backfired… She made this mess, and it’s hers to clean up; she needs to be the one to save Harrison and Claire and end Jordan’s reign of terror!
The Abbott Mansion
Summer tells Kyle she can’t put it out of her mind. She asks if any of the messages included a picture or video; she needs to know Harrison is okay.
Kyle says there was no picture or video, but they can’t assume Harrison is hurt. He suggests that Jordan might not have wanted anything in the picture that would give away their location.
Summer nods. That’s possible.
Kyle says Harrison will be easier for Jordan to control because he’s not an adult.
Summer says if Claire cared about Harrison like she claimed to and if she was innocent, she would have found a way to get the drop on Jordan or send them some kind of signal.
Kyle says he’s not saying Claire is innocent.
Summer says he’s blaming everything on Jordan. She asks what Victor and Jack’s plans are.
Kyle says they can talk about Claire’s actions when they get Harrison back. He says Victor and Jack were talking with Michael when he left. He thinks he should go back now to see the new developments.
Summer nods; she’s going with him.
They head to the door just as Chance appears on the doorstep. Chance says he got there as fast as he could.
Summer tells Kyle to go; she’ll meet him there.
Kyle leaves.
Chance asks what’s going on.
Summer cries and says she’s scared she’ll never see her son again. Chance comforts and hugs her.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam tells Sharon that he tries to focus on his son, but he can’t get by his own guilt. He doesn’t need a team of specialists to tell him he’s responsible for what Connor is going through; he knows what he’s done and hasn’t done.
Sharon asks what he means.
Adam says he should have noticed when Connor’s behavior started to change; maybe he could have done something about it! He says he can’t forgive himself.
Sharon says Adam needs to accept the fact that Connor has an illness that Adam knew nothing about and still doesn’t understand. Adam needs to accept that he’s human and will make mistakes; parenting is a lesson in humility! She says all parents have times when they feel that they’ve failed, but a parent’s children need them, so they have to do what’s best for their child.
The Newman House
Kyle walks in, and Michael tells him they haven’t had any pings from the cell phone that would allow them to track it.
Kyle says he talked to Summer, who will be there soon. She’s talking to Chance and wants to help in any way she can.
Victor asks how she’s holding up.
Kyle says Summer’s a wreck and is taking it out on Kyle, but if it helps her, he’ll take her anger.
Victor says he’s a good man.
Kyle asks what their next step is.
Jack and Victor agree that they need to stay a step ahead of whatever Jordan is planning.
Adam’s Apartment
Sharon says Adam needs to be realistic about his limitations on knowing about OCD. She says even the experts are still learning; there’s new research every day. She says what’s happened to Connor is scary and unfair, but Adam’s not responsible for it. She says nobody was responsible when she had cancer.
Adam asks if she really believes that.
Sharon says she does. He’s doing the right thing; the facility that Connor is at is the right place for him, and Adam needs to overcome his instinct not to believe anything the therapists say because he doesn’t like what they’re telling him.
The Abbott Mansion
Summer tells Chance that the only people who know where Harrison is are the two people who took him: Claire, fresh out of the mental institution, and Jordan, the serial killer. She says Victor is trying to keep things under wraps, since it seems like Jordan has eyes and ears everywhere; they’re not taking any chances.
Chance says Jordan is cautious in her own way. He doesn’t think anything will happen to Harrison; he’s the only bargaining chip she has left! He says Harrison really likes Claire, and they’re “buddies.”
Summer says Claire made sure of that the moment she met him.
Chance thinks that Harrison’s connection with Claire will get him through it until he’s back home in his own bed. He hugs Summer and asks her what’s been done so far.
Summer says her grandfather and Jack Abbott are trying to come up with a plan, but she’s scared that they’ll do something extreme and send Jordan and Claire into a panic.
The Newman House
Jack pokes at his phone and says the money transfer to the offshore account is good to go.
Kyle looks over his shoulder at the phone. “Wow, that’s a fortune.”
Jack says it’s worth every penny if it’ll save Harrison.
Kyle says he can’t thank him enough for putting this much on the line. He promises to repay his father.
Michael tells him to hold off on the repayment. They’re not just going to give Jordan what she wants and hope she holds up her end of the bargain!
Victor says they have to figure out how to lure Jordan away from her captives.
Kyle says it’s too risky; she’ll know it’s a trap.
Jack says they can’t give her everything she wants, or they’ll lose their leverage. They have to find a way before she disappears.
The Tack House
Victoria tells her mom that she won’t let her be the one to “fix things” with Jordan. They have to let Victor and the authorities take care of her.
Nikki says Victor doesn’t trust the authorities to handle Jordan. She says Victoria doesn’t understand how personal this is for her… She’ll never truly be free of Jordan until she is the one to stop her! She has a plan, but she needs Victoria’s help.
The Abbott Mansion
Chance tells Summer he hopes that Jack and Victor decide to get the police involved; Victor has tried to do things on his own without police involvement before, but it doesn’t always turn out well.
Summer says Victor has assured her the police will have “a full report,” but Kyle is in denial that Claire is involved. She says he can’t admit it because he’d have to face the fact that it’s all his fault.
Chance says he’ll call his police friends and see what he can find out about the investigation.
Summer thanks him. She says she needs to go to the ranch and asks him to go with her. Maybe he can stop Jack and Victor from making things worse.
Chance doesn’t think Victor will be interested in what he has to say.
Summer says they’ll take all the help they can get to bring her son home; she’ll insist they listen to him! She knows Chance isn’t a cop anymore, but he still has the skills and the instincts.
Chance agrees. They leave.
The Newman House
Kyle wonders how they can lure Jordan out and find where she’s holding Harrison.
Jack says there has to be a way to trace her movements after she left the delivery van.
Michael says they have a team checking security cameras in the area, but they haven’t seen anything yet.
Victor doesn’t think Jordan is acting alone.
Jack says he doesn’t know Claire, but Jordan had a lifelong influence on her… He wouldn’t be surprised if it was her.
Victor says he doesn’t think Claire had anything to do with it.
Michael says Jordan must be working with other people.
Jack nods. He says Nikki’s ex-sponsor agreed to work with Jordan and was thrown in front of a car for his efforts.
Victor says it might have been the guy who bought Nikki a drink.
Kyle nods. It’s probably worth tracking down Jordan’s accomplices.
Jack hopes they won’t be so afraid of Jordan that they won’t cooperate.
Victor says they’ll cooperate… Everyone has a price.
The Tack House
Nikki tells Victoria that Jordan hates her more than she hates Claire. She says Jordan had Claire lure her to the Lake House, not Victor. Jordan doesn’t really want Harrison; she wants Nikki. That’s her endgame!
Victoria says that everything she says proves her point… They have to keep Nikki as far away as possible from Jordan!
Nikki says Victor wouldn’t let her offer herself up as bait before, but this time she’s not asking for his permission; she’s doing it on her own.
Next Week on The Young and The Restless
Danny asks Traci what she’s trying so hard not to talk about.
Ashley, talking like a southern belle, asks the bartender for a shot of tequila with a slice of lime.
Victor tells Jack that Jordan likes theatrics, and this time, they’re pulling down the curtain once and for all!
Nikki’s in a back alley. She talks to herself as she waits for Jordan. “Come on, I’m right where you want me.”
